I probably won't make it out of Act 1 ever again if I don't stop making constantly new characters. Well, at least this time I was excused by patch 6 killing my monk PT.

I anyway wanted to try a sorcerer. Before, I considered them inferior to wizards because they could not learn new spells from scrolls on the fly. And while they do indeed have access to fewer spells, they can wield the ones they know with much more power, thanks to their Metamagic. Becoming an elemental adept and specializing in a certain type of spells definitely pays off for a sorcerer.

This character was inspired by Dragon Age's Yavana. Not sure if draconic tieflings can exist at all. This would be a human who did it with a fiend and then their child did it with a dragon. Or something like that. To each their own...

She at least considers herself a descendent of Tiamat, which would make her somewhat divine. Anyone who stands in her way, or messes with tieflings, will feel her draconic wrath.

Shadowheart's Sharran underwear, or any clothing based on it, is perfect for tieflings BTW because it is cut low where the tail is. I hate it that there in most cases their tail simply clips through the clothes.

         Yavana is another one of my characters from the second game, and in my           AU, she is the daughter of one of the Mysterious Riders (Drey).

Kayden X Kayna

2 girls that were born in a village of Riders : one coming from Hakum village, the other from Mahana village. Both were raised as Riders, but they were far away from each other, and both started with the same Monstie, a Velociprey. Despite growing in Hakum village, Kayden wanted to discover the World, not just the big region she is living in, hence why she decided to leave her hometown. Going into a new region, she will eventually go on Hakolo island, and find Mahana village, a village she was immediately found of. More importantly, this is where she met Kayna, and she will fall in love with the young woman. She decided to stay in Mahana village so she could stay with Kayna forever.

Leïa X Yavana

Yavana is one of the twins’ childhood friends, despite having clashing personalities with them. Leïa and Yavana were always close to each other, and grow even found of each other. They will not realize it until they get a bit older. Yavana will also be fully supported by her father Drey, who tried his best to redeem himself after his mistakes. Being considered a cute, goofy, yet unbreakable duo, most people are envious, and even jealous of their growing relationship.

I'll talk about my latest baby I think, Yavana !! I'm still a little shy to talk about her since I have to keep a lot of things secret from other players djdndjsjsji but I can say a little funfact !

She's a star elf, a race that is known for being stronger than most other races, but she's very weak physically and is a healer. Star elfs also have an affinity for Ice magic, and she can use some. But that also means her body temperature is naturally VERY low ! That doesn't bother her much, but it can surprise people when the pretty elf who's here to heal puts her hands on them and it's FREEZING fjdndijekej

Elaya Mahariel, the first non-mage of her clan to become a Keeper

Her origin would be the same origin as a normal dalish elf, the only difference being that she would pass her Keeper mantle to Merrill.

She romances Sten (please let me dream), and in the end, after killing the Archdemon, she left with him for Seheron.

Elaya is Inquisitor Yavana's aunt, and this was one of the reasons many in the Inquisition believe that the young elf will be able to defeat Corypheus just as her aunt defeated the Archdemon.

Some more possible scraps of interest from the DA:D leak on Reddit, from another user (not OP) in the comments, under a cut due to DA:D spoilers:

first, the usual set of disclaimers that should be kept in mind with all leaks: might not be real, unable to verify at present, sometimes leakers think they’re right about things but are unintentionally incorrect or got some wires crossed, games change a fair bit between development phases and final release, take with grain of salt etc.

Notes/thoughts: "Right around the end of the footage" is around when the Reddit screenshot leaker notes that once the player reaches the library in this segment, they close the gates and come face to face with the attacking dragon, where "it appears you are then supposed to try and chain the dragon up". "(literally) huge" would work in describing something of a size with a dragon.. so the question is, what bit of popular DA speculative lore fodder relating to dragons could it be? an Old God? Flemeth, still alive, returning in dragon form? an Archdemon of a double Blight? I keep thinking about Yavana's words in the Silent Grove.. "Your heart beats with the old blood, as well. Where do you think it comes from? It sings of a time when dragons ruled the skies. A time before the Veil, before the mysteries were forgotten. Can you hear it?"

Are the nodes connected by tendrils the same things as the Spawn Boils? Are the tendrils/tentacles connected to lyrium? could it have something to do with Ghil, given the body horror and monster pools? 👁 hmm purple in this franchise corresponds to.. Wisdom, pride (or Pride), Solas by proxy, necromancy, the fire in Trespasser, the ancient elvhen spirits in Trespasser..

2- A JOB OFFER

Part 1

"Leave me, leave me", Ravidasan pretended to struggle. He showed a gold coin to the mansion guard and they dragged him to a building that looked like an outhouse. He purposefully didn't show the coin with fish insignia given by that ilaneer vendor. What if that's a trap by Cholas or Cheras? At the the same time, he wanted to get to the bottom of this.

From his enquiries, he had come to know that Nanjinattu Pillai's brother is stationed at Tirumunaippadi with the crown prince Rajadithan and this is his old mansion, which he had sold off before constructing a new one at Padmanabhapuram. The brothers have feet in two boats. Who knows if the other one will float if one sinks or both will sink simultaneously!

They dragged him to a big dark room lit by fire burning in a corner. Some mumbled discussions could be heard from the other room. A very tall man with a sombre expression entered the room.

"Whose spy are you? If you speak honestly, your death will be swift and painless."

Ravidasan noticed that the speaker didn't look like he belonged to this part of the world. His speech too was weird. He wore the garment of yavanas. No wonder he looks and talks differently! His white hair was tied into a bun and the man looked almost red, like someone roasted him on fire. Yet, he was taller than any man he had seen. Ravidasan's hopes were renewed. He had heard about the yavana meikappukar (bodyguards) of the Pandya kings. Looks like that ilaneer seller was speaking the truth.

"Ayya, forgive me. I couldn't be sure it your spy belonged to our side. I have the real mudirai with me."

"Where is it?" The yavana man gestured to the guard to free his one hand.

"You don't want to hold it in your hands". Ravidasan took the Pandya coin from his loincloth, showed it to the man and put it in the fire which was illuminating the room. He heard a laughter from the next room. Who is laughing at this misadventure?

"Thalapathi, that's enough", a well built man entered the room. Isn't this the ilaneer vendor? What a change! He cleaned up pretty well. Layers of pearl-gold necklaces and bracelets adorned his neck and wrist. His fine silk looked almost golden in the dim light of fire. "Arase!", the yavanan and the other two soldiers bowed down and poked his calf indicating him to join them. Is this his king? Really? The men left him alone and went to the other room.

Ravidasan was too embarassed to speak anything. He wanted to ask many questions when he meets whoever he was supposed to meet. But how could he have guessed that he would have the misfortune of calling the king an idiot to his face? Is this even the real king? It isn't that difficult to make or get a small Pandya gold coin. They might not have the crown jewels or crown with them and it isn't like he can recognise them anyway. There is no way to confirm his identity.  Won't he be a traitor if there is a real Pandya prince or king somewhere and he supports a pretender?

Moreover, this is Chera mandalam. What is Veera Pandyan doing here? Everyone knew about Rajasimhan's escape to this region because his mother was a Chera princess but that was years ago. Now they are allied with Cholas. Parantaka Cholan's sons were borne by Chera princesses. Some shameless feudal lords like Pazhuvettaraiyar have shifted their entire base to the Chola region and live there like minor kings.

If the Venad chieftain or his Chera overlord comes to know about this midnight adventure, he and Veera Pandyan will be skinned alive. He didn't hesitate to express his apprehensions to the yavanan who had come to interview him.

"Don't you know that there are no permanent friends and enemies in politics?"

That is common knowledge but no one will sabotage existing alliances simply because they might become enemies in the future. He consoled him that everything is carried out in secret and they don't even use messengers in the Chera country. All of them, including the king himself, go around in various disguises to meet people.

A teenager who looked like a prince entered the room. He bowed down before the prince. "So Ravidasa, you do have a sense of properiety after all", the boy tried to look very serious but it was evident that he was suppressing a smile. "My young prince, may I have the fortune of knowing who you are?", he tried to butter up the boy.

"That's my son. Amarabhujanga Jatilavarman*. You see this annan, Jatila, you too should study well like him". The ilaneer vendor, no, Pandya Emperor Veera Pandyan re-entered the room and Ravidasan stood up. Sadayan went to his father and stood on his right side.

"Do you know why were you summoned here?"

"To work in the Pandya country".

"What kind of work?"

"You are the one who decides that, my King".

"I can't divulge the details and ask if you are interested. Know this - if I succeed, you will be honoured. If I fail, your life too will end. Go now. Menandros will be here. If you are willing, come back and ask him for further orders. Otherwise, forget that we ever met."

*Kochadaiyan, Sadayan, Jatayan, Jatilan, etc were the names in the Pandya Dynasty, all meaning "the one with matted hair", an allusion to Lord Shiva.
