Twerking

The girls from class 1A are getting dance lessons from an American exchange student before class one day.

Reader x Bakugou | Words: 1k | Rating: T (suggestive content) | genre: fluff

Staring at your classmate intently, you tried to decide if she was simply misspeaking, or actually asking you what she was asking you. "You want me to teach you how to do what?"

"You know," Ururaka said, beginning to shake her butt and arms almost robotically from side to side, "’tweaking’. The dance? You're from America, so I assume all you guys know how to do that!"

Oooh. A smile took over your expression as you finally realized. "Ah, you mean twerking!" Giving your classmates a small laugh, you tried to explain, "Tweaking is a whole other thing, and its not a positive one." Since transferring to UA from overseas, you had often found yourself at the mercy of language blocks and mispronunciations that led to misunderstandings, so for once, it was nice to be the one in their own element.

“I’ve always been curious as to how to do that, as well.” Yaoyarozu chipped in, garbing small nods of agreement from the rest.

Laughing playfully, you shrugged, getting up from your desk and turning so your back was to them; You had 15 minutes before your next class so you had some time to kill, anyways. “I have to warn you guys it’s not like I’m any expert when it comes to this, but,” straightening the back of your legs and planting your heels firmly on the ground you bent over slightly, “I do have this one trick a friend taught me last time I visited during break!” Swinging your butt side to side while doing this caused your butt to bounce pretty steadily and noticeably under your uniform skirt, which naturally hiked up because of the action. “All you have to do is straighten your legs, stand on your heels, and then kind of shake your hips steadily in place and your butt does the rest.”

All the girls immediately started shouting with excitement upon seeing how easy it could be. They all spread out a bit, with determined smiles as they remembered my short tutorial. I laughed with them, watching the beginning struggles of every dancer morphing into a rhythm of understanding after a few minutes of trial and error.

“Hey, I’m doing it!” Uruaka exclaimed, giggling a bit herself while standing next to Mina who seemed to be getting the hang of it herself.

Yayorozu, however, still seemed to be inhibiting herself, making stiff and robotic movements. “I don’t think I understand.”

I walked over to her with a smile, remembering how long it took me to learn until I had someone explain it to me. “Nah it’s an easy fix, watch.” Standing so I was facing the same way as her, I assumed the same stance only remained straight up. I started twisting my hips bluntly to illustrate the motion. “You see?” I then slowly began to bend at the waist, the shaking of my lower body then translating into the dance easily. “Its just like your twisting, but stopping and going so fast your using the momentum of your fat against it to make it you know,” you trailed off, feeling sort of silly for explaining the mechanics of twerking, “more jiggly.”

Finally seeming to fall into a rhythm, Yayarouzu was doing it! Albeit with a terribly determined and focused expression on her face. “I believe I’ve got it!”

Simply laughing, you cheered her on, “Ayy, go Momo!” Catching the attention of your other classmates they began to cheer her on as well. A chorus of “go Momo! Go Momo!” Began, and I joined her, shooting her an electric smile as she laughed along with me. It looked like she was finally starting to let loose a little bit and just have fun with it, making your heart warm. You were so grateful for all the friendships you’ve made since coming to UA.

You had all been so lost in concentration and just having a good time, you didn’t realize your 15 minutes had ended already and the door had opened.

Iida, never one to be late, burst through the door promptly at 12:45, but instantly froze upon what he saw before him. The rest of the 1A guys followed not far behind, wondering why he was just standing there and wasn’t rushing to his seat like usual.

“Hey what are you doing blocking the way?” Bakugou said, eyes squinting. As he approached Iidas frozen body, he followed his gaze, instantly growing a bit pink in the process. “What the hell?!”

Bakugous loud exclamation, like always, reverberated through the classroom and instantly stopped you all dead in your tracks. Looking behind you, you saw the boys of class 1A all staring at the group of you; who all were bent over with their backs towards them and your skirts admittedly high.

“Aah, perverts!” Higakure yelped, jumping up from her position. “How long have you guys been standing there?!”

But, based on Minetas nose bleed, you assumed it was longer than just a second. Meaning that they most likely got a pretty good show of you all going at it because hey, you had to admit to yourself, you were a pretty good teacher.

All the girls immediately flushed almost in unison, most of them quickly scurrying back to their seats while mumbling lame excuses and adverting eye contact.

But, even though you were burning red you had to take this opportunity to tease Bakugou just a bit, and instead winked at him before sauntering back to your seat; You even hiked up your skirt before you sat down, the fabric barely covering the top of your thighs as you sat. And you knew Bakugous eyes followed every move as he moved into a seat diagonally behind yours.

Pretending to be interested in getting ready for class, you began to pull out your textbook, when your phone lit up from the corner of your desk.

“I’m gonna fuck that stupid smirk right off your pretty little face tonight.” The text from Bakugou read.

Now, it was your turn to blush, and you frantically lowered the brightness on your phone while looking around to make sure no one saw what was just on your screen.

Bakugou snickered from a few seats away, and kept his eye on you, enjoying making you squirm with anticipation at his words. He sent one more text as the rest of the students filtered into their seats and Aizawa was about to begin.

“And you’re definitely gonna shake that ass for me in private tonight 😈 I wanna see it up close.”

Momo yaoyarozu doodles for a vigilante au. I’ve done some of the 1-A guys and some of the girls. Recently I finished a redesign of the girls costumes which threw me back into this au. 7: Do you have any OCs? I do! My most recent OC is an unnamed female witch for a ‘how could magic actually work in the US’ theoretical me and my dad have put together. This far it’s just world building and this character and another unnamed wizard college student. I’d probably end up a mystery story

8: Do you listen to music when you draw? Favorites? again i do! I listen to a little bit of everything podcasts, audiobooks, musicals, YouTube, regular music which is mostly old rock and old Christian music

a/n: parts of this chapter takes place after the break-up as well as before the end of the last chapter.

Y/n regulated her breathing, clutching tightly to her suitcases as she waited outside the complex. She refused to cry here, least of all in front of him. Tapping her foot impatiently, she hoped, that her ride would get there soon. She didn’t know if Izuku would try to follow her, and she was in no mood for another round. The sound of a beeping car horn, made Y/n’s head turn right, and she let out a watery laugh at the sight of her best friend’s car. Shinsou had the windows rolled down, and the sunroof open, his boyfriend Shoto could be seen sticking out of the sunroof, his older brother Touya next to him. Both fire users had their hands lit a flame, shaped like machete’s. Y/n could see Natsuo and Fuyumi in the backseat, pointy ice lances, hanging out of the windows. The funniest thing Y/n could see, was Endeavour, the retired #1 hero, perched atop the hood of the car, like a bird of vengeance, all fire and anger. As Shinsou pulled the car to a stop, Y/n was met with the familiarly angry face, of the current #2 Hero, Bakugo Katsuki. “Say the word princess, and we light this building up.” He grunted, flickering his palm. Y/n only let out a watery laugh, unclenching her suitcases as she made her way towards him.

Bakugo opened the door, and met her halfway, pulling her into his chest. In his strong embrace, Y/n finally let herself go, sobs wracking through her body. Touya jumped out of the car, moving to put her bags in the trunk. “Whether you say the word or not, I’m kicking his ass doll.” Enji merely snorted, waving his phone in his son’s face. “I just texted Yagi, and he told Aizawa; they’re both going to wipe the floor with him Monday.” He grinned, looking up at the windows. Flaring his fire out, Endeavor sent the #1 hero a big fuck you, ensuring that the boy would see it. Against Bakugo’s chest, Y/n let out a laugh, shaking her head. “Just get me out of here.” She whispered, moving toward the car. “I’m hungry, and I don’t want to look at this place anymore.”

*One week later*

“You know, you don’t have to come back to work if you don’t want to kid.” Aizawa supplied, looking over at his psuedo-child. Y/n merely shrugged, scanning over internship forms. “I can’t be holed up in the guest room anymore pops. It made me antsy.” Y/n sighed, looking over at her practical father. “You didn’t have to bar his agency you know.” She sighed, as the man sniffed, haughtily. “He can get sidekicks from Shiketsu, I don’t want any of my students learning from such a shitty #1 hero.” He supplied, causing Y/n to laugh. “Who knew you could be petty in your old age.” “For my kid, always.” Aizawa mumbled, reaching out to pat her hand.

Before she could say anything more, Y/n’s door was blasted open, loud shouting greeting her. “I’m telling you right now, Donatello is the superior ninja turtle!” Touya screamed, shaking his fist as he made his way into the room. Yaoyarozu followed behind him, rolling her eyes, as she gave him a shove. “And Katsuki and I are telling you, Raphael is the superior ninja turtle.” She hissed, as Bakugo snorted. “Damn right he is ponytail. Go figure this dumbass wouldn’t know any better. His own father things Michelangelo even stands a chance.” “Listen here you little shit” Endeavor bellowed, making his way into the room. “What the fuck are you guys doing here?” Y/n shouted, hopefully loud enough to be heard over all the squabbling. “Lunch!” Momo supplied, smiling as she materialized a few bags. “You guys!” Y/n smiled, eyes watering. “We want to be here for you, even if you think you’re fine.” Momo whispered, pulling the other woman in for a hug. “What we’re really here for, is for you to settle the debate.” Touya snarked, propping his feet up on her desk. Y/n waved her hand, cackling as his chair toppled over and he feel to the floor. “Everyone knows Raphael is the best, idiot.” She declared, as Bakugo and Momo whooped.

*One month later*

Today was a blue day for Y/n. Curled up in her blankets, Y/n stared blankly at the scene on the television. There had been a villain attack, and of course, the number one hero was there. The slam of the apartment door, startled Y/n slightly, as the other voice in the room scoffed. “Turn that shit off princess, it ain’t worth watchin.” Katsuki huffed, tossing his gym bag in the hall closet. Y/n could hear his heavy footsteps, as the man stomped over toward the couch. Picking up her legs, Bakugo settled himself down, placing her feet in his lap. “You been layin here all day?” He questioned, leaning over to take off his work boots. Y/n in her pile of blankets only nodded, unwilling to give him a verbal response. “A blue day then?” He hummed, giving her legs a tap. “Guess that mean’s its ramen tonight.” He supplied, reaching into his pocket to dig out his phone. “I’m calling over the idiots, and if you’re up to it...you can finally tell us what happened.” He supplied, as Y/n wiggled her phone in agreeance. Happy that Katsuki wasn’t much of a pusher.

Later that night found Y/n sitting in a circle, her best friend for years to her right, and her roommate to her left. When Bakugo said he was inviting the idiots, he meant his squad, and the Todoroki’s, the Todoroki boys refusing to acknowledge themselves as a squad. He also invited Momo, and surprisingly Monoma. She knew the two only got along for her sake. “We broke up, or rather...he broke-up with me, because he said it wasn’t “safe” for me to be with him.” Y/n stated, taking a sip of her beer. Monoma scoffed, rolling his eyes. “That’s bullshit. No one even knew you guys were together, save for us and some of his shitty friends.” The rest of the group nodded, Denki giving his two sense. “And even if people knew, they wouldn’t be able to pinpoint you, you’ve got your shields up all the time.” “That’s why I knew he was full of shit.” Y/n sighed, snuggling into Shinsou’s side. “He wanted to break-up because he was embarrassed of me.” “What the fuck.” Mina hissed, clenching her fist. “You guys have never really noticed, because he’s really good at putting on a face, but Izuku is kind of full of himself.” Y/n supplied, rolling her eyes. “When we first got together we agreed it would be better to hide our relationship, considering the fact that he was training to be a hero, and it could be dangerous for me, his gen-ed girlfriend.” “As the years went on, he made excuse after excuse, and I stupidly let them.” she laughed, a little sarcastically. “It seemed to work in his favor, now that he’s number 1; but it doesn’t give me the years I wasted back.” She sighed, as the group started mumbling to each other. “There’s no need for revenge tactics, I’m not even sure he’s aware that I had friends, let alone friends that knew we were even together.” She supplied, as Shinsou scoffed. “Then he’s a moron and doesn’t deserve the title of #1.” Y/n only laughed, as Katsuki reached out to take her hand. “Even if you feel like you wasted years, you can spend the next number of years getting that time back. Making better memories without that shithead in them.” Y/n could only smile, giving the man’s hand a squeeze.

*6 months later*

“You ready to do this Toshi?” Y/n whispered, looking over at her best friend. The man looked pale, as he wiped his sweaty palms on his hands. He had planned a surprise proposal, for the love of his life. It took months of planning, and talking to the army of Todoroki’s for their approval. It had taken months of groveling, and a few choice words from Y/n, for the Todorki’s to finally give their blessing. “What if I fuck this up?” He mumbled, looking over at his best friend. “What if this is a mistake.” Behind him, Katsuki scoffed, reaching back to cuff him upside the head. “This isn’t a mistake you fucking idiot. He’s the love of your goddamn life.” Shinsou nodded, as Fuyumi alerted the room that Shoto was arriving. “He’s the love of my life.” Shinsou whispered to himself, giving Y/n’s hand a squeeze. “You didn’t have to hit him.” She whispered, as Katsuki gave her a wicked grin. “It was more of a confidence boost princess.” He grunted, laughing as she elbowed him. “Speaking of confidence boosts,” he grumbled, looking over at her. “I wanna take you out tomorrow princess. On a date.” Y/n’s eyes widened slightly in surprise, shock evident on her face. Before she could give him an answer, the door swung open and the room shouted in surprise, as Shoto was greeted to the sight of his friends and family, his boyfriend down on one knee with an open box in his hand.

Before the photographer took a picture of the happy couple and Y/n, she leaned into Katsuki’s embrace, and whispered a yes, as she pressed a kiss to his cheek. Smiling wide for the camera as his hand settled on her waist, the camera clicked, blinding the three friends, momentarily. A few seconds after, Shinsou put it all together, and whooped, scooping Y/n up and spinning her around. Shoto stuck his hand out to shake Bakugo’s the blonde wearing a smug grin, confidence boost indeed.
