summary: after being blackmailed into marriage with Jonah, you surprisingly enjoy being with him. but what happens when a baby is added to the mix?

After the honeymoon, you moved in with Jonah immediately. It wasn't necessarily by choice, but you'd returned from the trip to find your apartment empty and everything you owned had already been moved into Jonah's apartment.

The longer you spent with your new husband, the more you fell in love with him. Part of you figured this had been his plan all along, but you really did get along well. Even working together hadn't hindered your marriage. Well, except for the fiery jealousy of Cloud 9's single women.

Speaking of work, Jonah doted on you all day and treated you like a queen. He made your lunches, gave you your vitamins and even tracked your cycle for you.

So, it wasn't a shock to Jonah when you were late only two months after you had gotten married. It was Jonah's plan all along: even though he acted like a feminist, he secretly wanted you all to himself.

Jonah was tired of Cloud 9 customers hitting on you and giving you their numbers. Didn't they know you were only being nice because it was your job? But not for long, because being a mother would be your only job from now on.

It had, by all means, been a very normal day at Cloud 9 so far. Marcus did something dumb, Amy was pissed, Glenn was trying to help, and everyone else was just getting through the day. But alarm bells were ringing in your mind.

Today was supposed to be the first day of your period. Of course, you had been late before, but you hadn't actually had a reason to be concerned. But you and Jonah had sex ALL the time, almost daily. And sure, Jonah gave you your birth control every morning, but it wasn't 100% effective.

"Cheyenne," you say under your breath as you approach the jewelry counter, "how did you know you were pregnant?"

She looks over at you, wide-eyed, "oh, uh, I think I just noticed I was getting fatter. Why? Do you think you might be--"

"Shh! Not so loud. I-I think I'm late, but I'm scared to take a test," you confess, biting your cheek.

"Ohmigod yay! Harmonica can be besties with your daughter!" Cheyenne says excitedly, clapping her hands as a big smile spreads across her face.

"I don't even know if I'm pregnant, let alone if it's a girl!" you say as Cheyenne exits the jewelry counter and whisks you away towards the family planning aisle.

It feels like an eternity, but it only takes three minutes for the two pink lines to show up on your SuperCloud-branded pregnancy test.

You and Cheyenne, both huddled in the handicap stall, staring down at the positive test. It was true, you and Jonah had created new life.

"Oh my god. Oh my god, Cheyenne, what do I do? Jonah and I have only known each other for four months, a-and we work at Cloud 9!" you sniffle, panic rising up in your throat.

"(y/n)? Are you in there?" Your eyes grew wide when you recognized the voice belonging to your husband. He was yelling from outside the bathroom.

"Y-yeah, I'm okay!" you yell in response.

"Was it positive?"

"Jonah... how'd you know I was taking a test?"

"I asked Tate. And you're late. Sorry, I didn't mean for that to rhyme," he laughed nervously.

You slowly exit the bathroom with the test in your hand, Cheyenne following closely behind.

You feel sick as you hand the test to your husband and watch his face light up with happiness.

"Babe, this is amazing! We're having a baby!" Jonah exclaimed, pulling you into a tight hug.

"I'll give you a moment alone," Cheyenne says awkwardly before shuffling away to find Mateo and probably fill him in on the pregnancy.

You tried to smile in an effort to hold your tears back. Even though you loved Jonah, he still forced you to marry him and take his last name, and he'd likely sabotaged your birth control in order to get you pregnant. You weren't ready for this to all happen so quickly.

Jonah pulled away, examining your face. "Everything okay, Mrs. Simms?"

"Uh, yeah. I'm just a little scared. It feels like everything is happening so quickly," you confess. Jonah strokes your arm comfortingly as you lean into his touch.

"Don't worry, babe. I've been planning this since we met. I'm going to take night classes and finish my degree so I can get a real job. And you can stay home with our little one," he explains, gently putting his hand on your stomach.

You loved Jonah, but you were terrified of what he was capable of.

Plot: You're having a thing with Marcus as, just, rebound stuff. He's someone, to you, to have some fun with, and help forget about the guy that broke your heart. And he knows this. He knows what he is to you- what he is supposed to be in this situation.

But he has no intention of letting you go- especially not when your ex starts trying to get you back.

"Okayyy, haha. I've got to go, now," You grin, pulling away even as Marcus tries to follow you, and forcing a giggle at his playful actions before letting him go; Stepping back. "Breaks over, lover boy. Time to get back to work."

"Come on... "

"Don't 'come on', me... I'm coming over to your place after work!- you can wait til then!" Shaking your head at him with a gentle, perturbed grin on your face, you're about to step further away- when your phone suddenly dings. And as you pull it out of your pocket and take a look at the message, Marcus takes you by the hips and guides you back to him as he leans against the wall once again.

The next words uttered are from Marcus, and theirs a marginally more serious tone to his voice. Probably due to your sudden change in body language, getting stiffer, as you read the message. "Who's that?... " He asks quietly, thumbs brushing over the skin showing between your shirt and your jeans. You glance at him, heart racing suddenly, before swiftly pocketing the phone, and flashing a smile; But removing his hands from your body.

"Just a data alert." Yes, you feel bad for lying, but you aren't about to tell him that it was your ex boyfriend saying hi. That would be way too awkward.

What Marcus doesn't know, isn't going to hurt him.

Immediately that dumb, handsome smile returns to his face and you feel relief simmer in you. "Okay! So- you're definitely coming over tonight, right??"

You nod, quickly. "Definitely! Now, I gotta go take over for Garret! See ya!"

"Wait- " You'd already turned around to rush off... maybe to respond to that text you received, if your heart can calm down for a damn second... but Marcus' call makes you stop, turn around. He's now standing up straight, towering over you, and his arms wrap around your body once again; Pulling you up against his.

"Oh. Watch those hands, Marcus, remember we're at work~" You joke light-heartedly, at the advance, but your giggles are cut off abruptly when he kisses you. Its an oddly deep kiss, for the moment; His lips seeming to totally encompass you as he applies pressure, and you almost lose yourself in it. Almost getting dizzy, as you allow yourself to be deterred by him- afterall, that's why you're together. A good old romp to get your mind off a painful ex. A rebound.

The feeling of his hands drifting down a bit too far, though, wakes up. And you end the kiss- snatching up his wrists, and placing them back in front of him with playful wink. "What'd I say?"

Then you turn on his cheekily smirking face, and successfully walk off.

Marcus watches you turn the corner, before revealing your phone in his hand, which was hidden from your view as you had walked off, and switches it on as he leans back against the wall. Just chilling... snooping... Its fine. He had a pal in prison who did the exact same thing with his gal, and they're going strong 30 years, now. "Okay, Y/N... lets see what's really going on, here... "

When he sees the most recent message, not even opened yet, a disappointed frown immediately spreads across his face. He sighs. "Oh, Y/N... " Then, realising you did not start contact with your ex, on further inspection... Marcus' eyes narrow. A dangerously displeased, almost mad look appears in his eyes. "Oh, hell no."

Because he can talk to you. You're maybe having a bad day if you text your ex, and he can convince you that that's a bad idea.

But if its your ex texting you- that's a threat. Marcus has to do something about this.

He's not going to let you get swept away from him- he has a plan, see? Yeah, he agreed that what the two of you had would just be rebound fun... but that's just for now. You're going to fall for him; That's how it works. You two'll be regular romantic comedy material, he's sure. He's just got to convince you that this is right, then you're going to realise what he already knows, that you two are meant for each other, and rebound sex will turn into making love; He'll be your boyfriend, not just your Guy. And your husband, too, one day. He knows it'll work.

But this could destroy his chances entirely. This is a huge problem. He's got to get rid of this.

After getting to his place and returning your phone, convincing you that you must have accidentally shoved it in his pocket rather then yours seeing as you two were so wrapped up together- you and Marcus found yourselves in the kitchen... after fucking, that is. There's a tub of ice cream between you as you chat about your days, and Marcus is living. He cant help but think this is how it should be. You in his shirt, giggling at jokes he's made, eating ice cream after mind-blowing sex with him.

Him.

That should be every day!

And it will- as long as he can put you off your ex.

"Hm," He chuckles, loving the sound of your laughter when he throws a zinger at you... but, unfortunately, knowing he's gotta change tact soon, if he's going to make any headway today, with your whole... douchebag ex, situation. "So... when I realised I had your phone... I might have noticed something... "

Your spoon stops on its way to the ice cream, and its a dead give away that you're hiding something. Even though he knows what's going on, he hates that you haven't been honest with him. If you're going to be married some day, you're going to have to trust him. Every sturdy relationship is built on honesty, and trust. Oh, he'll teach you. "... Oh?... "

Feigning awkwardness, which is not hard at all because this is an awkward conversation, Marcus rolls his shoulders back before he starts. "Was that, um, your... ex? That texted you?"

Immediately, you droop. You leave your spoon in the ice cream tub, and avoid his gaze. Its cute. Sighing, you take a deep breath after a moment, and nod. "Yeah... it was." Good girl.

Marcus cant help but wonder whether you're nervous because he found out, though, or because this... guy... makes you nervous.

He wants to be the one making you nervous.

Faking a relaxed demeanour, though, Marcus shrugs; Focusing on the delicious treat between you. "What does that douchebag want?"

"Marcus!" You gasp, and his blood boils. What? He's not allowed to call your ex a douche? He left you!!

Ugh, he has to shut this down now.

"What? He hurt you, didn't he? 'M just being a good friend... Just a little... protective over you, you know? You don't deserve to be treated like that." And with him, you would never get hurt like that. God, why cant you just see that he's the right one for you? Why doe she have to jump through hoops?

Marcus blood pressure is definitely rising as he works himself up, but he tries to stifle it; To shut it down. Because you look so fucking cute, blushing and embarrassed. "Yeah... I know." You speak softly, looking down at your lap. "I was just with him for long y-you know?? I just... he has me wrapped around his little finger, and I... I don't know... how to escape." You deflate like a sad balloon, pouting, and it takes everything in Marcus not to squeeze sense into you. He settles for taking one of your hands in his over the table; Being a comfort.

Oh... Y/N, you don't know anything about being wrapped around someone's finger. You've got him in a Chinese fucken finger trap. And you don't even know it!

"Hey," He pushes through the intrusive thoughts, thinking that you're such a bitch for saying these things to him, such a thoughtless, naïve, little bitch. Because he would never say those things to you, never. He loves you, and he would never want to make you feel sad... Even if you destroy him. "I get it. I do. But... its not forever, you know? I'm here to help you." He forces a kind smile, feeling it become real as you give one back; Optimism and warmth in your sweet, innocent face as you look up at him. Him! "And part of that, is not letting you text that asshole back."

"... You're sweet, Marcus."

A bashful grin flashes across his face. "You're sweeter."

Oh, that was such a sweet moment between us, Marcus thinks, grinning at you. That's what he craves.

Days full of cute moments like that between me, and my lovely little stay-at-home, mother-of-my-kids. My little, dumb wife.

A perfect life with her.

... Then you snort. "Haha- that was reeal cute, there. Lets try not to let it happen again, though, okay?" You giggle, visibly cringing as you return to the tub of ice cream, scraping out a nice mouthful of the creamy substance. Marcus feels his heart thud at it, though, and the grin is wiped clean off of his face.

... Stupid fucking bitch. What the hell was that!? That was foul. You really should get punished for something like that- you're just lucky you're not at that point, yet. When you're his, undoubtedly his... then... Well, then you'll just have to learn how to fucking behave.

For now though, Marcus pastes on a smile; Only squeezing your hand a little harder instead of telling you what for.

"Yeah, hah... Kinda dumb." He forces the words out, watching you grin and nod your head, sucking on the spoon. Rolling his shoulders once again to relieve the tension, Marcus moves on. "So... y'think you're gonna text that fucker back?"

Looking thoughtful for a moment, frowning as your eyes fall downcast and your teeth nibble on the end of the utensil between your teeth - honestly making Marcus a little hard at the sight, - , you honestly leave him hanging for a few moments... before you finally shrug. "I don't think so. You're right, he did hurt me, and... the easiest way to get over him, I guess, is to ignore him." Your eyes flicker up, wide and adorable, to his. "Right?"

"Totally."

When you smile, hop off the stool and onto his lap to finish the rest of the ice cream, Marcus smiles for real.

Hiii! It depends what dark/yandere stuff your talking about. I’m okay with obsessions, possessive , kidnapping etc but things like rape or abuse is something I won’t write.

Day in the Lie - Yandere!Marcus White x reader

summary: a day in the life of your less-than-perfect relationship with Marcus

8:00 A.M.

This morning, you wake up to the alarm clock and notice Marcus' heavy arm slung across your body.

"G'morning babe," Marcus rasps in his morning voice. He pulls his arm away from your body languidly, fingers lingering on your hips.

"Morning, Marcus," you sigh, mentally gearing up for another day of Marcus commandeering your every move.

You watch as Marcus stands up and walks over and pulls your pajama bottoms and underwear off without a second thought. You take in a sharp breath and your handcuffed hand clinks against the bed frame as you maneuver towards your boyfriend.

"Jeans for today, with this shirt," Marcus murmurs to himself, obviously not asking for your input.

He pushes a clean pair of underwear up your legs, then the pants. "Good girl," he praises as he grabs the key to your cuffs and unlocks you.

He dresses you in the shirt and your blue Cloud 9 associate vest, then slides a couple bracelets on your hand to cover up the red marks left behind by the metal cuffs. You watch him slide his warehouse jumper on as he tells you about how he forced Glenn to give you the same shifts and breaks every day.

8:30 A.M.

You sit in one of the back tables between Marcus and Dom, one of Marcus' idiot warehouse cronies. You wait for the staff meeting to start before the store opens at 9, while avoiding eye contact with all of your co-workers.

A very pregnant Dina talks with an also pregnant Amy, and you notice Marcus' eyes scanning them.

“I think you’d look pretty hot like that, huh?” Marcus says, gesturing to your two superiors.

“…pregnant? But—aren’t you infertile?”

“Oh, I know we can do it if we try hard enough. And I’m sure Glenn will approve of using the store’s insurance money to see a doctor. He loves kids!”

“Uh, maybe,” you sigh, feeling defeated.

11:00 A.M.

“(Y/n), go take your break,” Amy says quickly, gesturing towards the break room. It had been a surprisingly busy day, and Amy was having more people go on break at different times to survive the rush.

You nod, signing out of the register and switching places with Brett. As you walk toward the break room, you’re stopped by none other than Isaac. Great, another one of Marcus’ boys.

“Hey there (y/n), where you headed off to?” Isaac asks, stopping clear in the middle of your path and crossing his arms.

“Amy put me on break early since she had to put some extra baggers on. We’ve been busier than usual,” you explain, attempting to walk around him.

“You know Marcus’ rules, no breaks without him,” Isaac warns. God you hate your boyfriends’ stupid friends.

“Okay, I’ll go get him.”

“I’ll go with you, just to be safe.”

“Jesus, fine.”

1:10 P.M.

You check your phone, realizing your lunch break was supposed to start ten minutes ago. Where was Marcus? He had never been great with time, but usually remembered to retrieve you.

You leave Women’s Wear and head to the warehouse. The warehouse is probably your least favorite part of the store: dark, cold and creepy employees.

As you enter quietly through the double doors, you notice Marcus talking and gesturing to his workers. The roughed-up men watch him, enraptured.

“So I was like, ‘we should have a baby,’ and she was like ‘no!’ and i was like ‘you’re just a stupid woman and you don’t have a choice,’ you know, because i basically lock her up,” Marcus laughs.

To your horror, the men join in, shaking their heads at your behavior and subsequently high-giving Marcus. It makes you feel disgusting.

“Marcus, isn’t it lunchtime?” you say in a small voice, coming up behind the group of ten grown men.

“It’s lunch when I say it is, bitch,” he laughs, only softening once he sees the embarrassment on your face.

He walks you both out quickly, frowning once he sees the tears streaking down your face.

“Babe, you know that’s just guy talk, right? I still love you,” he promises, and you nod.

Once in the break room, you grab the blue insulated bag containing the lunches Marcus packed for both of you. Since you couldn’t afford much, you mostly ate whatever the two of you could scrape together from the store without Glenn or Dina noticing.

3:30 P.M.

Marcus' shift had finished unexpectedly early, but you still have thirty minutes left. Instead of heading down to your shared bedroom, Marcus decided to drag you over to the baby aisle and antagonize you.

"Is it just because you don't wanna be stuck with me? Because, uh, sorry, but you're gonna be stuck with me for the rest of your life," Marcus laughs, but deep down you knew it wasn't a joke.

"That's not it, Marcus," you sigh, grabbing some misplaced formula cans and moving them to the correct shelf.

"Then what is it?!"

"Marcus, you treat me like a child! You don't give me any space and I feel like I can't breathe. And no offense, but you act pretty childish most of the time, too. And on top of that, we literally live in the store's basement! How are we supposed to raise a child when our own relationship is so dysfunctional?" you sigh in frustration.

Marcus grows unexpectedly silent as you return to organizing the aisle. Even if he was bugging you, you were still technically on the clock.

"I'm just wrapped up in this... I don't know, this... fantasy of us. Happy, living somewhere nice, not having to worry about you leaving me. I think we would raise a good kid," he states simply.

His answer surprises you, and despite everything wrong with Marcus, you agree with him. You still love him deep down somewhere.

6:00 P.M.

You cook some recently-expired ramen on the small camping stove in your shared room as Marcus cleans up. He rarely cleans, but he was excited after you admitted to him that you also loved him and wanted to try and make things work.

"I'm so stoked that you actually love me! Nigel and the boys were in doubt, but I said they just don't know you!"

You laugh, using a small wooden spoon to stir the noodles in the pot over the portable stove.

When you glanced back up, you notice Marcus taking down his Animal House poster and putting up a poster for your favorite TV show.

"Marcus, you really don't have to do that," you say, touched that he would even consider adding something of yours to the walls.

"No, I want to. It's your place too," he explains, taping it to the wall.

"There, now it's home," Marcus says, standing back to admire his (slightly crooked) work.

"I love it babe," you laugh, "thank you."

And when he walked over to hug you, you didn't even flinch.

Hey! So before I start writing and creating, I thought I'd get some common questions answered and out of the way! If you are concerned about your request or are unsure of its content, please first check this post before directly messaging me.

Request Content

Q: What kinds of requests do you fill?

A: I will fill almost any type of request! But here are some specific options with set structures and examples.

Headcanon Requests (bulleted, length depending on ask, ex: "Can I get headcanons for Requested Character with a short girlfriend?")

Scenario Requests (bulleted, LDOA, ex: "Can I get a scenario for if Requested Ship were getting married?")

Drabble Requests (prose, LDOA, ex: "Can I request a drabble about RC being worried when their darling is sick?")

Playlist Requests (list of songs, 1-5 song limit, ex: "Do you have 4 songs for a jealous RC?")

Graphic Requests (edit style, 1-4 images, ex: "Could you make a graphic for yandere RC with this item or quote?")

Aesthetic Requests (moodboard style, image with 6-9 sections, ex: "Can I get an aesthetic for dark!RS?")

Prompt Requests (list of brainstormed dialogue and short sentences, LDOA, ex: "Do you have dialogue prompts for RC kidnapping their darling?")

Requests that don't specify will be answered with a bulleted list or possibly a short paragraph. There may be times I'm willing to fill some requests but not others due to time constraints, but that doesn't mean I won't ever fill them!

Fandom requests involving AUs and crossovers are welcome (ex: "Headcanons of how yandere Naruto in a wild west AU?" or "Headcanons about what would happen if yandere Ten and yandere Crowley fell for the same person?"), as are original requests based on existing media (ex: "Can I get headcanons about a popular girl type who has a Breakfast Club experience and ends up going yandere for the criminal?" or "Can you write a drabble about a yandere whose story is like this music video?").

Q: What characters do you write for?

A: I'll write for any character that I am familiar with, with a few exceptions for characters I'm aware of but uncomfortable with. To get started, here's a list of fandoms that I have a solid handle on!

Something that's not here can still be requested - I'm familiar with a lot of media and do my best to keep up.

As I implied above, I am also happy to write for original characters. Whether that means you telling me about your own OCs, or me creating my own characters for you down the line, either is great.

I will NOT be writing RPF or RPS. I do not approve of real person shipping and real person fiction makes me uncomfortable - if that's what you're looking for, there are a huge number of other blogs that will cater to your needs directly. Which leads me into...

Prohibited Requests, and Non-Yandere Content

Q: Will you fill every request you get?

A: I'll fill requests that interest me and that I feel comfortable posting, and that will probably be most of them! I am really excited to get started. But I still reserve the right to refuse a prompt - I'm writing for free, so no one is entitled to have their ask filled. If I choose to deny your prompt, I will answer privately and, if the issue is with content, update the blog so it's made clear that the type of prompt is not taken.

Q: What is and isn't allowed to be requested?

A: To be honest, most stuff is allowed and some stuff isn't. There's a lot of ground to cover here, so I've divided it based on the nature of the concern.

Q: Do you accept NSFW/SFW requests?

A: I'll do NS and SFW work, but I've got more experience with SFW content. This doesn't mean I do it exclusively, just that I won't think to go NS unless you mention it. Specify for NS and it'll be included happily!

Q: Do you accept violent requests?

Violence against non-SO characters and dub-con is okay always, as is situational or over-the-top violence, even murder, involving SOs (ex: "the yandere and their darling are soldiers on opposite sides of the war" or "the yandere saws off their darling's legs so they have to carry them everywhere").

However, there is some tricky area with violent fantasies. If I think the content strays too close to serious physical domestic abuse, then I'll likely deny the request. This is partially why I prefer requests that get violent to focus on non-SO targets, so if it doesn't matter to you, that's almost guaranteed to get a response.

Non-con I can mention and discuss in headcanon posts and possibly prompt lists, but I will not be writing drabbles or scenarios for non-con prompts.

Q: Do you accept kink requests?

A: It will depend on the type and whether I feel morally and psychologically comfortable with it. For example, hypnosis, size kink, gender stuffing, BDSM, roleplay, etc., are all currently accepted because they don't seem to affect me in a negative way. I am willing to do ships for cousins and step family, as well. However, I will not under any circumstances deal with r*ceplay, p*dophilia, fetishizing of trans people or people of color, or inc*stplay, and I will not be doing ship work for anyone more closely related than cousins, including but not limited to siblings, parents (blood or adopted), or aunts and uncles. None of this is negotiable. I am willing to consider AUs where two characters aren't family, or non romantic yandere behavior between family, but even then, the request's on thin ice. Anything super unhygienic or illness related is probably something I won't be interested in not as a rule or for moral reasons but just because it can exacerbate my anxiety and OCD. I also do not fill prompts related to minors at all, be it explicit/adult/sexual content or otherwise. Requests for characters who are minors will have them aged up unless otherwise specified - in which case you will promptly be blocked.

Q: Can I request a dark imagine that is not yandere related?

A: Of course! Just make sure to be specific about what you want from it.

Q: Can I request a ship or character imagine that isn't yandere or dark?

A: Yes, though I won't promise it'll be what you're looking for. I fall towards horror, thriller, and angst when I write, regardless of my intentions.

Q: Can I request something that's not ship or character imagine related?

A: Sure, I'd be honored, but again, I don't promise to fulfill every request. This blog is intended to be stress relief, self indulgence.

How to Make a Request

Q: How do I contact you for requests?

A: Asks, messages, replies on my original posts, and even more casual things like tagging me in yandere or writing related posts are all great ways to interact with me!

Q: When do you accept requests?

A: Requests will be opened or closed depending on how busy I am and whether I'm caught up on them.

Currently, requests are closed. However, I've decided that requests are reopened on my days off. The days should be listed in my bio.

Q: Do you accept anonymous requests?

A: Yes, I do! I also will not publish asks from users unless the user specifically clarifies that they are okay with it, just in case the user sent the ask from their blog on accident. User asks that aren't specified as safe to publish will be responded to privately when the request is filled.

Q: How will I know my request is filled?

A: As stated above, anonymous asks and user asks clarified as safe to publish will be published with a response. User asks without any clarification will be responded to privately. Anonymous asks asking for privacy for any reason will not be published. Messages will also get a reply. Users who send requests that are kept private will not be tagged unless you ask me to. Users with published asks will always be tagged in the final post, but it is totally okay to ask me to change or erase the tag! Other than this, checking for posts is up to the requester.

Other Kinds of Interaction

Q: Is there anyone who you don't want interacting with your blog?

A: Anyone complicit in nazism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, xenophobia, pedophilia/MAPs, or any other politicized violence against a people is uneqivocally not welcome to engage with my work. I also have a zero tolerance policy for true crime fans who support or absolve serial killers. Please respect this - anyone who doesn't will be blocked. Anyone who pushes the issue will be reported.

Q: What about kink or otherkin blogs?

A: Honestly, I don't know much about either community. As of now, I'm fine with interaction. I'd ask that I not receive any kin related requests, because I am not familiar with the concept, community, and issues accompanying. Kinks can be requested but as stated above, are not guaranteed to be filled. Please don't bring discourse or discourse related requests here. I am not equipped to or interested in getting involved. If that changes, I have a main and other side blogs. This blog will never be a place for it.

Q: Are you okay if we interact with you or send you asks and messages that aren't requests?

A: Absolutely! I would love to talk with you. I am always interested in discussing any of the topics covered on this blog, or anything else for that matter! I pride myself on trying to be not just nice, but kind, and hopefully that comes through in every interaction. However, I'll expect the same courtesy from anyone who'd reach out to me, or use my posts to communicate to others for that matter. Anyone who doesn't will be, you guessed it, blocked. Anyone who pursues it further, yeah, will be reported.

Q: You have a lot of rules about requests and interaction, but you don't seem to post much and you aren't very active. Is this all just awkward and formal overkill, or is there a point?

A: I've explained all of this clearly, in as an accessible way as I can think of, because I want to eliminate the potential for drama, confusion, and other misunderstandings.

Online communities tend to be chock-full of plenty and I do not, nor does anyone who visits, need another reason to be tired. I'm not detailing all of this upfront because I expect to be very popular, or because I like listening to myself talk for paragraphs on end. I don't want a theoretical lack of information to be used to hurt either myself or others, though some of it shouldn't have to be spelled out in the first place.

But considering how ridiculously easy it is to misinterpret each other online, and how much of a disadvantage neuroatypical people like myself are when things are left just implicit rather than made what you could argue as exhaustingly explicit, I figured a crazy FAQ was a small price to pay for a peaceful environment.

TLDR: it certainly might be overkill, but that doesn't mean there is no point to it.

Q: What should requesters and followers call you anyways?

A: I'm fine with my username. If you're going for a different vibe, Red or Darlings sounds nice too. If you can come up with something catchier, feel free to try!
