YANDERE HP GOLDEN ERA; SLYTHERIN & RAVENCLAW

i have so many ideas mostly revolving around past oc concepts, but in general i think the slytherin's have the most yandere potential? aside from traits (cunning, determined, yada) that go hand in hand with yandere, i also find it easier to pin point the root of their tendencies. there's slytherins like draco who are straight up entitled, and some like theo who have been raised harshly, it's not difficult to imagine a scenario where draco, theo, blaise, .. develop into the yanderes we all know and love.

there's no plan for structuring my harry potter writings, but i think it'll mostly be brainstorming headcanons. i'm focusing on the golden era, so i'll write for characters alive during this time. I'll come up with a full character list and cast eventually but for now i'm most interested in getting ideas/requests for slytherin boys (blaise, draco, goyle, lorenzo, mattheo, theodore, adrian, terrence, marcus) and ravenclaw boys (anthony goldstein, michael corner, roger davies, terry boot) but gred and forge are always welcome as well.

okay so general rules for requests: only send in requests for golden era characters (there is a loop hole "if james survived" here if you're desperate but im mostly inspired to write the characters i've listed out. reader/darling is always gender neutral, no loopholes here. also i tend to cover both platonic and romantic paths (if applicable) either way in my writings so no need to specify. that all being said hound me with asks and any thoughts.

anyways here are some headcanons that have been clogged up in my brain recently;

ANTHONY GOLDSTEIN (fancast: tarjei sandvik moe): my latest fixation, chat gpt molded most of my headcanons for yandere him. okay so not much is known about him but i'm going the route of jewish = polish = kowalski + queenie grandson / great grandson. all we have for a personality is 'friendly and good-natured' so i'm going to be making mountains out of molehills here.

i can imagine his intentions were pure first, he saw his darling didn't have the best upbringing, perhaps was a fractured individual, and 'desperately needed someone'. so he befriends them. for a long time, he's fully convinced himself his actions are done out of concern for his darling, other people really were just going to hurt them, and weren't trustworthy. and making good decisions has always been a strong suit of his, he isn't a ravenclaw for nothing, so his darling should just sit back, relax, and enjoy his company whilst he takes care of the hard stuff, alright?.

what started as a protective instinct turned into possessive jealousy, why does his darling want to pair up with malfoy for a potions assignment when he's far much more intelligent and easier to work with. actually, why do they have to speak to anyone else but him anyway? if they want a supportive friend, he's always been there. they want to banter with someone? anthony can do that!. they have a crush? they want romance? they want to overthrow the ministry of magic? no matter, he's a fast learner, and better for them than anyone else would be.

for the most part, anthony appears innocent, it's probably his darling who looks like the clingy, overattached one, because no matter what anyone else tells them, anthony will vilify them in the eyes of his darling, bringing his darling closer to him, gradually becoming more and more dependent on his constant presence. which is what he has subconsciously been working towards since he met them.

anthony is wholly devoted to his darling, and is among the more selfless yanderes (lookin at you draco). he has no future planned out, and allows his darling to take charge of the relationship so long as they don't look at anyone else. he's one of the more moldable yanderes; he adapts to his darlings personality, instead of having them adapt to his (camera pans to draco).

he's only really a danger to his darlings social life (and the lives of anyone who tries to tempt his darling away). his obsession is quiet for the most part, unlike others (draco) he doesn't need to resort to extreme measures (kidnapping) as he's able to read his darling like an open book (anthony inherited queenies legillimency and no one can convince me otherwise), and is thus able to ancitipate their needs, thoughts and desires. he'll become the only person their comfortable around;

anthony portrays himself as the one person who truly understands and supports his darling. he'll go to great lengths to prove his loyalty, even if it means crossing boundaries or engaging in morally ✨questionable✨ acts. once they finally realise just how tight of a hold he has on them, they'll be too dependent on him to do anything about it.

Note

Would Lord Voldemort also be a platonic yandere for Bellatrix's daughter? Voldemort and Bellatrix had a daughter, Delphini in the book, from "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child". So would they give as a family?

I could see it!

I had actually considered including Delphini in my Yandere!Bellatrix Lestrange w/ Biological!Child!Reader headcanons and her relationship with the Reader but I decided that if anyone wanted that I would just write a part two or something.

In regards to Voldemort becoming platonic!yandere I could definitely see it, especially given how much Bellatrix would hype up her child when talking about them to him. It would certainly get his attention given how loyal of a Death Eater she is her child would have to be something just like her, right? But that wouldn’t be enough to garner his obsession. There would have to be more for him to be invested. He’d test them, make them prove their loyalty to the cause and if they do so as he pleases then I could see him taking even more of an interest in them. Maybe even taking them under his wing as his Dark Arts protégé.

I can’t help but think of Reader taking in and raising Delphini given the fall of Voldemort and the death of their mother after the second Wizarding War. I wholeheartedly believe the Malfoy’s would help the Reader in raising Delphini and being a better support system for her then what she’d end up with otherwise. Particularly Narcissa and Malfoy given they would be the closest to the Reader.

Imagine the Reader having turned out similar to Draco; having to act and do things they didn’t want to that would haunt them later but doing so nonetheless to protect the ones they cared about and or to please the Mother they never got to have (not like Narcissa wasn’t good enough already). Only for them to feel some sense of relief after the war is over and the Dark Lord is defeated. The Malfoy’s and the Reader no longer having to live under the fear of the Dark Lord let alone having him so close. Wanting to do good by their new sibling, the Reader wouldn’t want to abandon Delphini even if she did have Voldemort’s blood running through her veins. I could see the Reader desperately trying to keep Delphini from turning out like Bellatrix knowing nothing good would come of it. Only for Delphini to find out the truth about their parents and wanting to get back the family she didn’t have. Her family, not the Malfoy lie.

I could see Delphini growing up in this scenario and only really ever taking to the Reader over any of the Malfoy’s. Maybe even feeing like the Reader is her true family out of all of them before knowing the truth. Once she does know the truth though I feel like Delphini would resent the Malfoy’s all the more for lying to her and acting like her family when they weren’t. I don’t think she’d blame the Reader, she’d probably believe that they lied to them just like her. But she would definitely have no problem guilt tripping them.

I also have this image of pregnant Bellatrix keeping the Reader by her side whenever she can, gushing about how much their sibling is going to look up to them and whatnot. Or how wonderful their little family is going to be.

Personally, I feel like Narcissa would especially feel threatened to have Bellatrix back in the picture. She loves her sister of course but for the longest time she has considered the Reader her child and to have to give that up now that her sister is back would really hurt her. She would especially worry about the Dark Lord becoming invested in them, how could she not?

Types of Writing:

HEADCANONS: These are typical, very straightforward. Bulletpoints that consist of content.

5 characters (MAX)

SCENARIOS: These are more story-based and will not exceed too long. I would compare them to drabbles somewhat, but I will not cut them too short.

2 characters (MAX)

DRABBLES: Short in length, will range around 1,100 words or less. These will primarily be based on prompts.

3 characters (MAX)

IMAGINES: Long works that will be story-based. Number of words will not be ranged, and details will be very much there.

What I WILL NOT write:

NON-CON: I do not stand for anything of the sort, and I will ask that anybody requesting refrain from requesting anything of this sort. This is not only an uncomfortable topic, but an illegal one, and while illegal topics are not off the board - this one is.

EXPLICIT SEXUAL CONTENT: I will write for suggestive content, but I reserve the right to deny any of this type. While this may change in the future, I do not feel comfortable writing this kind of content at the moment. This is primarily reserved for any requests that state anything in regards to kinks, sexual acts, etc. (If you want something suggestive, please indicate.)

TOO MANY CHARACTERS: If you see above, I have marked how many characters I will allow per writing type request. Anymore than the maximum number will be denied.

INCEST: Do I have to explain why I won’t write this type of content? This is disgusting and outright disturbing, and I would like to keep my mind out of that realm.

OMEGAVERSE: Too in depth, too time consuming. I have a lot of other activities, and if you want a specific request, I will do the best that I can in regards to research. Otherwise, this particular request has an extensive history and intake of knowledge

UNDERAGE RELATIONSHIPS: This is unlawful and disgusting, and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable. (This includes teacher and student relationships.)

ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS: This whole topic is something that is very disturbing and very much scary. It is also for a primary of the character being an abuser. I will not write the characters as abusers in relationships due to respect for the creators and the readers.

CHARACTER X CHARACTER: This is meant for direct request. Unless this is a small detail in a different request, this is not going to be permitted. Ship who you want, but I do not write explicitly for ships.

What I WILL write:

SUGGESTIVE CONTENT: All characters will be aged up if underage, and will not go into (hopefully) too extreme detail. I will include the content under cut for reader discretion.

SIBLING/PARENT FIGURE: This is specifically for a platonic/guardian-based relationship. This will not include any romance, but rather revolve around the familial aspect.

‘AU’S: Though I still reserve the right to deny certain AUs, I am not against any of these being requested. In fact, I love AUs, and writing them can be so much fun.

VIOLENCE: This is going to be worrying, but if violence is requested, I am fine with including it. This is going to be done in detail (if the request calls for it), and will be indicated with a disclaimer at the beginning of the requested piece.

ANGST: This is limited to certain things, of course, but if you want to ask for an angsty piece, go ahead.

MENTAL DISORDERS/MEDICAL CONDITIONS/BODY SPECIFICATIONS: These can be very messy, but I will do research to fulfill your request the best way I can. If I do manage to misconstrue the topic, don’t hesitate to tell me. (I know that this is a sensitive topic, so I want to be able to get it right.)

HORROR: This is where I will be willing to bend a few things, typically for yandere plots and things of a similar vein. I love to write this kind of thing, but this also means that the limits will be pushed, so if you want to request this, proceed with caution.

NOTE: All of my works will be written with gender neutral default, so if you want a male or female reader, then specify.

EMERGENCY REQUESTS:

This is for the moments when you need something written. Generally follows the same circumstances written above, but there are a few differences.

RESPONSE TIME: This is going to be within the span of a week. It is a slight long shot, but since I am unaware of the urgency of the requester’s request, this will be the general time span in which this will be written. This is subject to change over time, though.

REQUEST LIMITS: There will be none for things of this sort, but I will have to cap them off if there are too many coming in. I don’t want to do so, but it will have to happen if things get too overwhelming. (Again, this is only in the situation that these requests become overwhelming.) I want to make sure that these pieces are good and well-thought out so the requester(s) can enjoy them and find comfort in them, and I can’t do that when overwhelmed.

LABELING: When requesting for an emergency request, please label it as such. I don’t want to lump things of this sort in with the others since the requester may want it as soon as possible, and the regular requests typically tend to take me a week or more to write.

NOTE: All other rules above apply to this as well, though I would suggest that you read them through and decide what you want since the more characters, the longer to write it will take.

With that being covered, I will say that, aside from the portion dedicated to what I refuse to write, I am a pretty laid-back person. If you want to request for a reader dealing with an abusive ex, then go for it! A specific AU in which the reader and character are dealing with weird occurrences? Go ahead!

Like I said, I’m down for a good amount of things, but that also means that I will reserve my right to deny a request.

Recently I’ve been re-hyperfixating (I believe that’s the correct word?) on the Harry Potter universe and I didn’t realize you wrote for it! Could I request a platonic love letter from Draco Malfoy, maybe for a best friend or sibling figure? Preferably gender-neutral regarding the reader but anything works.

(Who’s your favorite character by the way? Mine’s Luna because she reminds me of my best friend.)

(My favorite characters are between Fred and George, and Molly Weasley. Molly and I share a birthday so that’s pretty cool☺️)

I know I could be a handful most of the time. Alright, I was a handful all the time but you put up with me. Even when my actions and words were less than savory, you stayed by my side. Unlike Crabbe, Goyle, even Blaise, you had no obligation to be friends with me. Yet you were.

Your friendship was genuine. It was real. You didn’t care for blood-status or who my family was, you just wanted to be my friend. And you were. You came to be my dearest friend. You still are, even to this day.

No other could ever take your place.

I can’t bring myself to comprehend why you stayed by my side, even during the darkest part of my life. You were scared, everyone was once the Dark Lord made a return. Yet you didn’t abandon me. You never turned your back on me. Even when I was much too close to him. You didn’t ever give into the darkness, even when it could have spared your life. No, you were no coward. You weren’t like me, like the rest of us.

I envied your strength, only to loath it just as much. If it weren’t for it you would still be here. You would still be by my side. You would still be alive.

I can’t help but blame myself. Blame you. Blame everyone.

But no matter who I cast my anger to, or how much I hate, none of it will bring you back. Besides, I know you would only chide me for not being able to walk away but how could I walk away from everything that was you. Everything that was my friend.

You have no idea how many times I have tried to write this letter to you only to tear it up, burn it or whatever else I could possibly manage. This is the first time I have been able to finally let my thoughts, my emotions, everything out on the parchment before me.

Every other time it was a jumbled mess. Even now it is but at least it's legible compared to the scrawl it had turned into.

Yandere Bellatrix Lestrange w/ Biological!Child!Reader (platonic)

Bellatrix had only ever truly loved two people in her entire life; her sister (Narcissa) and the Dark Lord. She was entirely devoted to both, so much so that she never would have fathomed that anyone else could ever come to par with her most precious people. At least that was until she fell pregnant.

From a very young age it was expected of Bellatrix, as well as her sisters, to marry into other pure-blood families to keep the ‘magical pureness’ amongst their respected families. And so Bellatrix and Narcissa did as expected of them, excluding their blood traitor sister who married a muggle. It was just as expected to have children of their own to carry on the traditions, the radical thinking, and the overall pure blood status of both families. So, Bellatrix once again did what was expected of her, she became pregnant.

It’s probably around the same time Narcissa falls pregnant herself. Honestly, it was probably her sister becoming pregnant that had Bellatrix deciding to do the same. But unlike her sister, Bellatrix wasn’t excited to be a mother. She wasn’t even all that happy. No, to her this was just another thing to cross off the list. At least this way she has continued to show her devotion to her family by following all the necessary steps to guaranteeing the prosperity of their place amongst the wizarding world. It isn’t until her child is in her arms that Bellatrix starts to see them in a new light. A much darker light really.

Bellatrix doesn’t get too much time with her child before she’s sent to Azkaban for her part in torturing the Longbottom’s, but the time she does have with her child is spent solely with them. Ever since the first day she ever held them in her arms, Bellatrix hasn’t wanted to part with them. If she does have to then it’s not for very long and when she does have to leave them she leaves them in the care of her sister. Bellatrix by no means trusts anyone else with her child, not even her own husband. She’d prefer if he had nothing to do with them honestly, they’re her child after all. He barely had to do anything in making them, she’s the one who has been with them every step of the way.

Bellatrix will go as far as to stay in the same room as her child, staying as close as possible to them. This isn’t necessarily a maternal thing for her so much as it is a possessive thing. She loves her child, at least she acts as if she does and to an extent she does but it’s not like how Narcissa loves Draco. No, Bellatrix loves you as one loves something of worth to them. She cherishes you as someone who cherishes their very first flying broom. You’re more of a glorified object then a human being to her. She stays in the same room with you as to guard you from being taken from her, similar to how one would guard treasure.

To say she’s paranoid is an understatement. She can’t even trust Rodolphus with you and he’s your father. She fears he’ll come between you and her and she can’t have that. If he wasn’t a necessary member among the Death Eaters, Bellatrix wouldn’t mind offing him. Then it could truly just be the two of you and that sounds more and more appealing as the time goes by.

I have no doubt that Bellatrix tells her child bedtime stories about the Dark Lord and his endeavors. She wants her child to grow up and idolize him just as much as her after all. I wouldn’t be surprised if she tells Narcissa to keep up with the stories when she gives her child over. Telling her which ones her darling baby seems to like most even though you’re but a babe who has no knowledge of anything going on and Narcissa is well aware of that but she’ll play along with her sister.

When the time comes for Bellatrix and Rodolphus to be taken to Azkaban, their child is already well and safe with Narcissa where they will be raised from then on. In a way it’s beneficial for both parties; Bellatrix ensures her child’s safety with her sister and for Narcissa, Draco won’t grow up all alone. It honestly wouldn’t be surprising at all for Narcissa to grow her own attachment towards you. To an extent it’s to be expected, after all she is your surrogate mother now.

You’re already family so it isn’t at all hard for Narcissa to take you under her wing and raise you as her own. She’s happy knowing that with you around Draco won’t be alone and that in itself is something she is very grateful for. Lucious on the other hand is a bit more apprehensive about having Bellatrix’s child in his family’s care. Of course he and Bella are family by marriage but he can’t help but to be on edge with you. What if you turn out just like her? What if you’re just as unhinged as her? It doesn’t help that Bellatrix threatened him when she left you in their care. But no matter what his worries Narcissa is always there to shoo them away. She won’t have him sully who you are when you haven’t even learned how to walk yet.

Draco may also be more likely to grow an unhealthy attachment toward you himself given how the two of you have been glued to each other’s sides for most of your life. You’re the closest thing he has to a sibling (you even go by their family name), you’re his very first ever friend and his best friend at that. Draco honestly wouldn’t know life without you.

Yandere Draco Malfoy (general)

Even though Draco shares his father's pompous and arrogant attitude that doesn't mean he's a complete carbon copy of Lucius. On the contrary, Draco is so much softer and attentive towards his obsession, especially early on compared to his father.

You probably won't realize that Draco is even interested in you in the beginning. You'll catch him staring in your direction or staring in the overall vicinity of you, not thinking too much of it. He's probably thinking of who he's going to make his next target of entertainment anyway, but really Draco's been watching you very closely. More like stalking you.

Draco is quite the stalker, especially in the early stages of his obsession. He likes to watch you, loves it really. He mostly indulges in it because it's really the only way he can get his fill of you. He isn't quite sure what he's feeling, or why. If anything he's pretty bothered by it, certainly annoyed. Draco will take this new oddity out on you; bullying, tormenting, and overall making you his new target for humiliation.

That must be why he's been so interested right? Why you've caught his eye so suddenly? Why he's been so intent on watching your every move? But messing with you hasn't brought him any amusement or mirth. If anything it makes him feel sick and disgusted with himself. Have you bewitched him or something?

It will take Draco some time and reflection to come to the realization of his feelings towards you. Once he knows that he likes you, that he loves you, his behavior and overall actions will take a turn. Draco will be much more attentive and nice to you. You probably won't believe his new change whatsoever, taking it as some kind of trick or facade he's playing at to gain your trust only to start his tormenting all over again. But really, Draco wants you to like him. He wants you to see him the same way he sees you.

Draco will really put his all into gaining your approval and trust. He wants to completely take back everything he's ever done to you. He couldn't be more regretful for his actions, but he knows he can't take it away, at least not now. He'll spend the rest of his life trying to make it up to you. Once he has come to terms with his feelings (platonic or romantic), Draco will be completely and utterly taken with you. He wouldn't want to exactly show it to anyone else, especially his fellow slytherins, but he'd be at your beck and call if you so much as uttered his name or gestured in his direstion.

It wouldn't matter whether you hate him or like him, as long as your giving him any sort of attention, even if it's bad, he absolutely lives for it. Please give him anything and as much of anything. Just look at him or at least in his direction. Draco would do anything to have your eyes on him. He'd purposely make a scene close to wherever you are or nearby enough so that you'llbe sure to witness it. Even going as far as to target people in your own house to really ensure that he has your undivided attention. He doesn't care if he's going after fellow Slytherins, or those pesky Gryffindors, hell even those Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs won't be safe from him. He'll do whatever to have your attention directed towards him and only him.

When he does finally have you with him, whether through threats, persistency, or actually earning your affection of what sorts, Draco will be over the moon. He'll be in complete bliss, even if the two of you are only friends. He doesn't mind too much asong as you're paying him any sort of mind he'll be content, at least for now. He is selfish and will surely want more of whatever you're willing or even unwilling to give. He'll take it all, but he'll always give it back tenfold.

You'll be spoiled rotten with Draco around. He would never leave you wanting for anything, except maybe some space and or freedom, but then again he'll never leave you anyway. He'll do anything for, or rather depending on what it is he'll make Crabbe and Goyle do it for the both of you. Whether it be carrying your school books/bag or having to set someone straight or make an example out of someone he's deemed deserving of humiliation, Draco will have it taken care of.

Something to keep in mind is that Draco is extremely possessive, in regards to either a platonic or romantic obsession. What's his is his and there's no exception to his wrath if anyone goes against that. If he views you as family then you're his family, whether blood or not, he doesn't care either way. If he sees you in a romantic way then you're completely his from the second he decided to have and keep you.

Draco would only use dark magic and overall harsher punishments as a very last resort. He doesn't want you to think of him as a monster. He can put up with you hating him, but he couldn't bare the thought of you seeing him as something to shy away and flinch from. Now that doesn't mean he won't use fear against you if he thinks it's necessary, but he would never want for you to just solely fear him. No matter the relationship, Draco does genuinely care for you, albeit in a much more twisted fashion compared to his non-obsessive counterpart. He wouldn't want your 'love' or whatever 'connection' he desperately craves for to be solely built on fear and threats. But then again he'll take what he can get, as long as he has you at the end of the day that's all that matters to him.

It is a slight long shot, but since I am unaware of the urgency of the requester’s request, this will be the general time span in which this will be written. This is subject to change over time, though. - Request limits. There will be none for things of this sort, but I will have to cap them off if there are too many coming in. I don’t want to do so, but it will have to happen if things get too overwhelming. (Again, this is only in the situation that these requests become so frequent that they becoming overwhelming.) I want to make sure that these pieces are good and well-thought out so the requester(s) can enjoy them and find comfort in them, and I can’t do that well when overwhelmed. - Labeling. When requesting for an emergency request, please label it as such. I don’t want to lump things of this sort in with the others since the requester may want it as soon as possible, and the regular requests typically tend to take me a week or more to write.

NOTE: All other rules above apply to this as well, though I would suggest that you read them through and decide what you want since the more characters, the longer the time to write it will take.

With that being covered, I will say that, aside from the portion dedicated to what I refuse to write, I am a pretty laid-back person. If you want to request for a reader dealing with an abusive ex, then go for it! A specific AU in which the reader and character are dealing with weird occurrences? Go ahead!

Like I said, I’m down for a good amount of things, but that also means that I will reserve my right to deny a request.
