REDO: Symbiotes being assholes Part 2
yaya! I'm finally finished with this! I'm really tired rn and this week has been very hectic for me, so I'm happy that I was able ti finish it on time! I tried to base it around the work that I've done previously and stuff, so I hope you guys enjoy it :)
words: 4194 (not including the bonus at the end \^o^/)
warnings: kidnapping, arguing, yelling, blood, somebody dies, basically no privacy in the carnage household btw, lmk if I missed any!
summary: the aftermath of being taken once again has finally simmered down, and you live your life (mostly) peacefully.

~~~
“________?”
You had opened your eyes, trying to see who was talking to you, but you only saw darkness. When you tried to respond, the only thing that came out was some kind of raspy breath. You internally cringed, but tried again, this time muttering out some gargled nonsense.
“_____! My baby, you can hear me. Where are you?”
What? You couldn’t focus on anything, even the strange voice, and you covered your face with your arms. You could hear the voice say something else, something about where you were. But it was too late. Suddenly, everything around turned into nothing, and you felt yourself falling for a second, before “landing” on your bed.
Your eyes shot open and you leaned on your elbow, trying to get rid of the dizziness in your head. What was that? Who was that?
“________, if you don’t open this damn door!”
Your mind suddenly remembered where you were, and you quickly jumped out of bed, ignoring your headache, and rushed to the door. You took off your makeshift ‘lock’ that was basically a bungee cord attached to your bedpost, before the door swung open, almost hitting you.
Cletus stormed into the room, obviously very upset. “What the hell were you doing in here?” You wanted to roll your eyes. He took you, and now you’re expected to just do whatever he says? “I was having a bad dream. Couldn’t wake up.” He gave you a look, and you reiterated, “I’m serious! I couldn’t hear you!”
He gave you another look, before asking, “Are you sure that you weren’t just ignoring me?” You knew he was going to go this route. He had… control issues. Ever since you got here, it was not what you couldn’t do, it was what you could do. You could walk anywhere you wanted in the house, except the front room. You could watch TV anytime you wanted, or play any of the games that were there from the previous owners. Anything else was either off limits, or he needed to be with you to do so.
“I’m not ignoring you, I swear. I didn’t know you were at the door, if I did I would’ve answered it.” You tried to plead with him, knowing that he would get angrier if you just argued with him. “Even if you were asleep, what’s with the lock? Do you not trust us?” He held the cord in his hand, letting it hang loosely from it. You shook your head, “I just want some privacy… Like, what if you had walked in on me when I was changing?”
He scoffed, and walked over to your bedpost, where the other end of the bungee cord was attached. He lifted it up, pulling it out from underneath. He dropped the bed with a loud bang. “Oh, don’t give me that. I knock, you know.” He wrapped the cord around his arm, before he pulled it off and began to walk back to the door.
“I made you breakfast. If you don’t want it to get cold, you should put on a robe and come out.”
He closed the door, and left you to get ready, and let your thoughts simmer. You were angry. Not to the point you would show it, but more rather your mind was making fantasy arguments with itself.
He can’t take it! It was ours, we made it ourselves! He’s violating our privacy! We just want some peace once in a while, is that too hard to ask?
You knew that making these little scenarios in your head wouldn’t help with your mood, so you tried to drop it. Instead, you wondered what you could do that day. You could clean up around the house a bit, or you could try to convince him again to let you cook something, maybe a small snack.
Maybe you could even talk him into letting you outside.
You took back the thought as soon as your mind brought it up. There was no way in hell he would ever let you outside, even with his supervision. He had too many people looking for him, too many people who would have no problems hurting you either. Of course, this is what he told you. You knew that he didn’t want you outside in case you tried to call for help or anything similar to it, but it still made you pissed that you were in the same situation as you were when you were with Eddie.
Putting on your slippers, you quickly rushed out the door, not wanting to make him any more mad than he already was.
---
The food Cletus had given you was good, you had to admit. You knew it wasn’t him who had cooked it, as he had stated he couldn’t cook very well, but probably Carnage, his own symbiote. You picked at the hashbrowns he had given you, not really eating, but also making it seem like you weren’t spacing out. Since Carnage had heightened senses that also passed to Cletus, it was hard for them to miss something about you. It reminded you of Venom, in a way.
Both Venom and Carnage were both extremely similar, both being symbiotes, having pretty much the same abilities, but that's really where their similarities ended.
While Venom was much more patient and usually let you be in peace, Carnage was impatient and was even more controlling than Cletus. Carnage would sometimes just sit on his shoulder, and whisper into Cletus’ ear, telling him what he should do, what he should say. Sometimes, if you listened carefully you could hear it tell him random little things.
Carnage was also very much more present than Venom was. While you had assumed Venom just didn’t make himself appear because he thought you would be scared of him, Carnage had no such worries. They would sometimes just take over and talk to you randomly, usually about what you were doing or what you wanted to do. At the beginning, when you would try to argue with Cletus, they would take over and make you submit through sheer size, and lock you in your room using a chair. They wouldn’t let you out unless you apologized to both of them.
“Are you going to eat, or are you going to pout over your little lock?”
You looked over, seeing that carnage was making more food, probably for you. You turned back to your own plate, and continued to eat your food. You heard a little ‘hmm’ from Carnage before they continued to make whatever they was making.
Looking around, you saw the remote sitting on the other side of the table. You reached over the table, trying to grab it, but to no avail. You were about to get up to grab it, when it was taken from your sight. Carnage raised it above your hand, asking, “You could’ve asked us, you know.”
You shrugged. “You are busy making yourself breakfast.” Carnage rolled their eyes at that. “I’m making all this food for you, and all you can do is still be mad about that stupid lock. You know, we take care of you for free, and you treat us like this, all the time, every day.”
They walked back over to the stove, and grabbed the pan they were using. “Here, I hope this makes your attitude better.” They tilted it to your place, and a pancake slid off onto it. They walked back to the stove, putting the pan down, and pouring more of the mixture onto it.
You knew that they wouldn’t give you back the remote unless you apologized, so you quietly muttered, “Im sorry.”
They stopped and turned around, still holding the remote. “What did you say?”
Trying not to grit your teeth, you said, “I’m sorry.”
“Sorry for what?”
Just get it over with, _____, it won’t help for you to be petty. “I’m sorry for putting a lock on my door without asking you first.”
They smiled, their teeth gleaming in the light. “That wasn’t so hard, was it? Apology accepted.”
They handed you the remote, before they turned back to the stove. You faced the TV, turning it on to the first channel.
“-and tonight, we have news on the supervillain Doctor Octopus, who was defeated with combined efforts, both Spiderman and Venom bringing him down. While Spideman was present after the attack for questions and the police, Venom quickly disappeared and officials are asking for any info on him to be reported to the police, or call this number-”
“Change it!” You didn’t think twice, changing it to the next channel. Another news program, this time showing some weather report on the city. You heard them grumble something, before Carnage said, “Better.”
That was another thing you had noticed from both Eddie and Venom, along with Cletus and Carnage. They both hated each other. While you weren’t aware of Carnage when you were with Eddie, you sure knew about their hatred towards each other when you were with Cletus and Carnage. They had told you their origin story about how Carnage was left behind by Venom and Eddie, and how Cletus had found them all alone, and they had joined together. You weren’t sure if it was true, but you were sure of their rivalry to each other.
However, it was also strange to see Eddie and Venom work so closely with Spiderman. You remembered Venom saying something about him, how he didn't know what he was doing.
Suddenly, Carnage dropped another pancake on your plate, before they started putting all the dishes in the sink. When they was done, he turned back to you, asking, “Could you clean the dishes today, _____?"
You nodded, and they gave a small pat on the head. Carnage dissapeared, going under Cletus's skin. Cletus walked towards the coat rack, and grabbed his usual jacket. “We’ll be back, don’t worry: if you need any food, there’s snacks in the cupboards. Don’t use the stove or oven, you might burn yourself.”
With that, they walked to the door. “We’ll be back in a few hours!”
“Bye.” You said, more to yourself. When you heard the last click of the locks, you let out a sigh you didn’t realize you were holding. You finished your plate, and put it with the rest of the dishes, before you went to get ready.
---
He sat on his throne, angry, frustrated… a little fearful.
His baby was on some planet, with someone who was a known killer! He had no idea if they were alive, or if they were hurt, and the worst part was that no one could give him any damn answers.
He looked down at the photo he had of you. It wasn’t even a good one, solely of your face. It was blurry, but he knew what he saw. His baby.
He placed the photo down in his lap, before he quickly summoned one of his guards. “Get ready.” He stood up, walking down the stairs from his throne.
“Today is the day we will return to Earth, and take back what is ours.”
---
You knew something was up when Cletus came back earlier than expected. He had come back from his usual afternoon outing with groceries and the like, to tell you he hadn’t eaten anything all day (meaning he hadn’t eaten anyone that day). So he left again, making you your favorite sandwiches. He had promised you that he would make the both of you some pasta when he got back. So when he came back 3 hours early, and was an absolute mess, you knew something was wrong.
He was mindlessly putting things into different bags, and grabbing random things only to move them somewhere else. Carnage was on his shoulder, whispering things into his ear. He was muttering things back to them, still moving things frantically into bags.
You tried to talk to him, “Cletus, is something up?”
He had turned to you, saying, “Pack a bag or two. We’re leaving.”
“What? Why?” You walked up to him, trying to see what Carnage was saying to him. You listened closely, “he’s coming here, they told us he was here, I don't care if it might be a fake, he is not someone to be messed with-"
He turned to face you, and you realized he looked like hadn’t slept in a week. You straightened your posture, trying not to act like you were just eavesdropping. “Pack a bag or two. We are leaving tonight, around 8 or 9. Sooner the better.”
You wanted to say something else, but he went back to packing. So you decided fuck it, if he wants to move so bad, they can.
You grabbed the biggest bag you could find, and started picking clothes and belongings to bring with you.
---
The road was bumpy, and certainly not comfortable when you were trying to sleep. It was obvious that neither Cletus or Carnage wanted to see anyone during this trip, so they decided to go on the backroads, ones where you might see one or two other cars the whole way down. It also helped that it was nighttime, and there was barely any light to see in front of you, so even if there was someone else, they wouldn't really notice either of you, and just think of you as another car.
The whole time, Cletus was focused on the road. Carnage wasn’t even on his shoulder like they usually would. The whole time it was simply silence from the both of you. You didn’t know what Cletus was planning on doing, or if he even had a plan.
He was worried about something. You’ve never really seen him worried like this. Sure, he could get antsy or anxious when something was about to happen, but he was never actually fearful of anything. But you couldn’t tell from what, either.
It might be the police. It might be someone who is after him. It might be Eddie and Venom. The thought of them suddenly brought you back to them, to the times you had shared with them. You could remember them arguing over something minimal while you ate whatever they had made for you that morning, listening to them bicker and sometimes silently laughing at their antics.
It made you… sad. Not much. But just enough where your mood was brought down a little. Apparently, it was very noticeable to them.
“What are you frowning at? Don’t tell me you were attached to that place.”
You looked out the window, trying to see if there was any light at all from the empty valley road you were driving on. “I’m not mad.”
He scoffed, “Well, something’s bothering you. What is it?”
You knew he wouldn’t be happy if he knew your real reason, so you quickly thought of something else that wouldn’t piss them off immediately.
“Why are you so stressed?”
“About what?”
“This whole thing. Is someone after you?”
As soon as you said it, you knew you messed up from the simple shift in tone of the conversation. Cletus didn’t answer for a few seconds, opening his mouth and closing it again. Before you could ask him anything else, he said, “There… is something after us, yes.”
You turned to look at him, and you could see he was trying to avoid your gaze. You took the hint and turned back towards the road. “Do you know who?”
Cletus rolled his shoulders, and it was obvious he was extremely tired or strained.
“I do. It’s not someone who’s easy to avoid.”
The road was becoming less rough and janky. You realized that you were on a highway, the nearby areas completely flat, with some rock formations here and there. It was a stark contrast to the forests you had seen on the way there.
“Where are we going, anyway?” Deciding to move on, you realized that making him talk about it would make things worse. You could at least try to find out everything else.
“Other side of the country. I know a safe house. Not really a house, but Carnage says it's still there.”
You didn’t realize that you were going to be so far from home. You tried to remember your family, your real family. There were bits and pieces, but in the months that you’ve been gone, it was harder to remember anything about your family. In fact, you’ve barely thought about them. It made you wonder if they even remembered you at all. Were they still looking for you? Did they even care at this point?
“Get some sleep: It’s almost one in the morning. I’ll wake you up when I find a place to rest.”
Looking around and realizing that there probably wasn’t going to be anything for miles, you closed your eyes and slowly fell asleep.
---
When you woke up, there was blood over the windshield. That got you up pretty fast. You turned to ask what happened, but Cletus nor Carnage wasn’t there. You peeked out from the window, and saw that he was over someone, probably dead already, and he was eating them.
You pulled yourself back down, and sighed. You wanted to just fall back asleep, but you realized that you had to go to the bathroom. While your mind was just telling you to ignore it, you saw that there was a bathroom in view, just a few meters away from where the truck was parked.
Fuck it, you thought. There wouldn’t be a spot to stop at for a while, right? You opened the door slowly, hoping he wouldn’t hear you. Unfortunately, he did.
He turned towards you just as you hopped out and quietly closed the door. You both stared at each other for a second, before he said, “Let me just finish this and we’ll take a break at this place. There are snacks in that store behind you. Grab whatever.”
You nodded, and he went back to his meal. While he was busy, you went to the bathroom and did your business.
When you got out, he was still eating, so you decided to explore the place a bit. You were quick to realize that it was someone's little shop, with 2 gas pumps out next to it. The store was quiet, and you put two and two together to realize that the guy he was eating was the one who probably worked there. That didn’t stop you from taking a few snacks and drinks. You knew that you would be hungry, if you weren’t just sick from watching some guy get eaten.
When you walked outside, Cletus was dragging the body away, probably behind the store to hide, leaving behind a very prominent trail of blood. You ignored him, and walked towards the truck to put the items in the back seat. Organizing them so they wouldn’t fall, and so that they would be easy to grab if you needed anything, you leaned back to make sure everything was ok. You felt thirsty, and looked at the food to see if you had gotten any water, but you realized you didn’t grab any. Groaning, you closed the door and walked back to the store. Cletus was still hiding the body, you would’ve presumed, as he wasn’t back from hiding it.
You walked around the store, trying to find where they put the water, when you heard something outside. You looked over the stands, trying to see if anything was outside or if Cletus was just messing with you. But there was nothing. You continued looking, thinking it was just the wind or some animal. When you found a few bottles of them, you grabbed some and walked to the door.
When you reached the truck, you opened the back door again, and threw the bottles into it, and closed the door. You heard someone behind you, and you turned to ask Cletus if he was done.
“Are you done with your m-”
The first thing that gave away that it wasn’t Carnage or Cletus was the pure height of the person. They had to be at least 8 feet tall, if not more. They were huge in comparison to you. You backed away, hitting the door of the truck as you slid around it, trying to get as much space between you and whoever this was.
They didn’t seem to care, as they moved with you, around the truck and then behind it. You turned, trying to sprint away, but you yelped when you were suddenly pulled off the ground and into the air. You kicked your legs behind you, knowing it was them who had you, but it was no use.
Suddenly, you were dropped right back onto the concrete, and landed right on your nose. As soon as you hit the ground, you heard a crunch, and you were able to tell that your nose was broken after a few seconds. For a minute, you didn’t do anything, your mind still reeling being dropped a few feet face first, along with the upcoming pain of your nose. However, the noise of a fight made you roll over onto your back and lift your head up to see Carnage and the stranger having their own little fight.
Your eyes widened, seeing how effortlessly he was just batting Carnage away with his hand. Everytime Carnage would try to strike, or even just go near them, the attacker would just swat him down and away. It was like some game to him: it would’ve been amusing to watch had you not been terrified.
Carnage, on the other hand, seemed enraged. Like whoever it was, had pissed him off so much that he didn’t even care about you at that moment, and all he wanted to do was kill them. You could even hear Cletus every time he yelled or screamed, meaning that even he was irate about whoever it was as well.
However, it seemed that even the man, as you had figured out by then, was getting bored of his attacks. His movements seemed to be more lazy and disinterested: he was irritated.
Suddenly, he grabbed Carnage by the neck, like he did with you, however much more aggressively. Carnage started to kick and bat his arms around, almost trying to scratch the stranger's face.
“I am done with this childish game, Carnage.” They said it with such annoyance and malice that even you winced at their tone. They moved him to the side, just for a moment, before they threw him away, at least a few couple meters away. Carnage was thrown so far away, that you couldn’t even see them through the darkness.
You lifted yourself up onto your arms, going to see what the hell happened to him, when you realized that your sudden movement attracted the attention of him.
“Oh, fuck.” you quickly tried to scurry away, looking around for places to hide. Before you could even think of the best place, you were picked up (again) by the man. He cradled you like you would break at any moment. You tried to say something, but he shushed you.
“It’s ok, my dear.” he whispered, trying to soothe you. You didn’t listen to him, instead kicking and trying to push away from him. You saw his smile falter, but only a little.
He began to walk away, carrying you towards the woods, opposite of where Cletus and Carnage were. You realized what was going on, and you were starting to panic. You started to scream, but he placed his hand over your mouth, and rubbed your cheek with his thumb.
“Oh, don’t cry _____, I promise that we’ll be home soon enough-”
The sound of an agonized, irate scream broke his sentence. The man rolled his eyes, and turned around. Carnage was there, his own ‘skin’ falling down from his face, revealing Cletus underneath, who seemed to be passed out.
“Give them back!” Carnage trudged along, and it was obvious something was wrong with their legs. Looking at it further, it seemed to be the knee bending inwards. Even still, they continued on with, stumbling towards the both of you.
With a scoff, the man raised his hand. “Rumble. Deal with them.” he began to turn, just as carnage was getting ready to strike. However, that moment never came. A blur of purple and orange appeared, slamming Carnage into the store through the window, a loud burst of shattering glass being thrown everywhere, including towards you.
You raised your hands, bracing for the tiny little pieces to hit you, when you felt the hand be removed from your mouth. You opened your eyes, realizing that the man was shielding you from the glass. He wasted no time, either, turning back around to the woods.
As he walked away from the brutal carnage (heh) behind you, he looked down at you with such adornment and endearment that you almost thought that he was out of it.
“My name is Knull, little one. And you are my child.”
BONUS:
Eddie leaned against the car door, already pissed that he had to wait. He knew that he was a kid, and that his symbiote wasn't even really grown, but he didn't know them very well. For all he knew, it could be some ploy by Carnage and Cletus themselves.
Give it time, Eddie. He might still show. He could already hear Venom sympathizing with them. "I know, I know. Just tired."
Right before he decided to just get in and drive away, he heard a small thump from behind him. He turned his head, and saw him. He was wearing a hoodie, and almost ran towards Eddie.
"Where the hell were you?" He scoffed, not wasting any time. He got in the drivers seat, while the kid got into the passenger.
"Hey, do you know how hard it is to sneak out when your parents are watching you like a hawk? Besides, I got some info."
As he started to drive, Eddie quickly asked, "What kind of info, trustworthy?"
The kid sighed, before saying, "I know you don't trust me very well because of the whole 'spawn of carnage' deal, but I don't like him any more than you do."
Listen to him! Even his own, uh, child doesn't want to follow him!
Eddie sighed, knowing that he was wrong. "Ok. I understand." he leaned in closer, making sure that the kid knew he heard him. "But if I find out your lying to me, it's over for you."
He could hear Venom berating him, but he quickly became quiet when the kid responded, "Hey, that's a deal. Besides, if anyone's gonna kill him..."
His hand morphed into something red and black, shifting into the symbiote before shifting back into a human.
"It's gonna be me and Toxin."
~~~
I did it! happy christmas to those who celebrate! and yes, one of the main reasons I decided to rewrite this whole series was because I wanted to include a lot more symbiotes that would make their own part and plays!
also, personally I think Carnage is portrayed more in a feminine way, so originally I gave the she/her pronouns but I looked it up and it was 50/50 so I decided to just change them to they/them, so whatever you view them as can be portrayed here!
love you all sm, thank you for such a great year, and for being so patient with me! I love, love all of you so much o(* ̄▽ ̄*)ブ

Can I get a yan!Eddie Brock with an s/o who can't die. Like they die and then their body heals itself and they get back up and just take a shower to wash off the blood. Please~
Tumblr media
Venom strangely enough could sense an abnormality in you, one that they didn't think to make clear to Eddie beforehand. So imagine Eddie's distress, focusing himself out of the venom facade running up to your limp body screaming, begging desperately for you to be alive, stay alive listen to his pleads and wrap your arms as tightly around him as he is you.
Few minutes pass of venom being emotionally shoved into a corner of his distressed mind and your body putting itself back together and suddenly Eddie feels your heart beat against his own. Tear pooled up eyes meet his baby's and suddenly his racing thoughts stops, absolute silence as you laugh awkwardly, not sure how to explain whats happening to your heart broken man. Venoms voice booms against the walls of his mind "I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING OFF WITH THIS ONE"
Eddie won't forgive you for the longest of times but venom demands his favorite human's presence constantly so you'll be forced to sit through the tension he creates. You'll scare him every time your body takes the normal deathly amount of damage, maybe the second time around Eddie will stubbornly refuse to check on you but god seeing his babies lifeless eyes won't ever not strike fear in his heart

*Dedicated to @animefan3223! I love you and hope you feel better soon :)
“I hope you don’t mind,” the rather frail, dorky man commented, sliding himself onto the benchpress. “I’m just a little out of shape after being stuck in the hospital for so long, so…”
I sent him a reassuring grin. “Not at all. I’ll be right here to spot you until you get the hang of it, sir.”
I stretched my arms, examining closely as the gym member clasped his arms around the bar and pushed it. His face contorted with exhaustion and I was about to recommend something lighter, but he seemed so determined. I wanted to make further inquiries about his injuries, but I’d at least wait until he was taking a breather. This local gym was known for having friendly clientele, and I was hoping I was part of that spectrum.
He lifted the bar to his chest. My hands were ready to help him out when needed, but he managed to do one rep with ease. Then two. Then three. I was starting to wonder if he even needed a spotter —
“Oh, uh, Y/n, hey. Didn’t think I’d see you around.”
I gasped and looked up. I recognized the voice instantly, coming face to face with Eddie Brock - my ex-fiancé. I resisted a sigh, because either he came here on purpose or he genuinely never learned where I worked in the two years we were together. It was all in the past, though, and I strained a polite smile.
“Uh, hey, Ed. Do you need something?”
The client placed the bar back on, grinning. Even though his face was red and the glasses slid down his nose, he looked fairly refreshed. He stretched his arms, glancing between the two of us. “Hey, sorry to interrupt, but was my form alright?”
I sent him a smile. “Perfect, actually. It’s like you’ve been at it for years without stopping.”
“I guess I can add a couple extra pounds on, then.”
“Great. Good job, buddy,” Eddie interrupted again. “So, Y/n, about that. I just, uh, wanted to catch up now that I know you work here, so —“
“Not right now, Ed. I’m on the job. You got that, sir?”
“It’s just Neil.”
“Right. Neil. You’re dong a great job so far.”
Eddie was still hovering awkwardly, and it took every fibre of my being not to snap at him. I directed a not-so-subtle glare his direction, and the man teetered his balance between his feet. He adorned a tank top and cargo shorts, but from the state of his physique, he wasn’t as in shape as he used to be when we were engaged a few years ago.
He noticed my eyes boring into him and sent an abashed smile. I went to scowl, but suddenly, the client’s arm gave out and he yelped. A curse escaped my lips as my hands ducked underneath the bar just in time, catching it with ease. Neil panted and I helped raise it back onto the shelving.
“Shit…!” he muttered, sitting up straight and gripping at his right arm. “It gave out.”
“No worries. I should’ve been paying more attention,” I mumbled in reassurance. “Eddie, if you need something, just talk to me later. Go do your own thing. Please?”
The man gulped and nodded. He was sweating profusely, forcing a grin. “U - uh, I mean, yeah. Sure thing. Sorry about that, Y/n.”
I rolled my eyes, watching as he stalked over to a treadmill. My attention returned to Neil, who’s cheeks flushed in embarrassment. I mustered a friendly grin and patted his back energetically. “You still got it. Maybe just take it easy. Do some stretches or cardio.”
“Do you have any recommendations for that?”
“I think there’s a yoga class going on right in the other room, actually,” I mused. “If you’re interested, go ahead and drop by for a free session. After that, you’ll have to pay additional fees.”
“Ah - thank you. I’ll do that. Have a nice day.”
“You too.”
After the man grabbed his water bottle and headed in the general direction of the class, I sighed in pure irritation. It had been a while since I stumbled across Eddie Brock. His life had certainly taken an adventurous turn when he ended up with some alien pet attached to his hip, and although he previously texted often before that, he’d gone radio silent up until now.
Edie Brock always managed to get on my nerves before and he certainly was now.
I surveyed the gym, but my gaze returned to Eddie. He’d broken a sweat already, and I was somewhat caught off guard when inky black slime appeared from his shoulder and formed a floating head. It attracted other nearby gym users as well, and rightfully so. At the perfect angle, I could see the monster’s wide smile and I could hear a distant - but deep - voice, completely different from Eddie’s.
I crossed my arms in intrigue, leaning against one of the many pillars in the vast complex. Eddie, clearly agitated about whatever the alien was talking about, began swatting. The head dodged each time, and a rumbling laughter echoed in the gym. Many people glared in annoyance, but Eddie was too caught up with the agitating alien to notice.
The head peered in my direction. We made brief eye contact, but I took in the odd features. I’d seen footage online of the entire creature, but witnessing it in person was far more different. It had a tooth grin that spread to inhumane lengths and glowing, yellow eyes. It was fairly smooth, except for the imitating sweat that rolled down the sides of its head like a waterfall.
Eddie’s footing was lost in a split second, and the alien seemed to allow it to happen, hovering in place as the man tripped and fell face-flat on the machine. Out of habit, I stood straight, about to walk over. However, ink spilled from his body and he got up with ease, still complaining loudly. I blinked in confusion, and both the alien and his human friend peered over at me.
Horror dawned Eddie’s expression as he turned away. Out of frustration and embarrassment, he turned the machine off completely and headed off to god knows where. I sighed in relief, glad that my rather obsessive ex was shamed out of the gym by his alien friend and would hopefully not bother me again anytime soon.
~~~
Tate <3 : shift’s over soon, right?
Me : yeah, just heading out. see u soon, babe.
Me : also, today was super stressful. I’ll tell u about it when I get home, kay?
I was about to send the message, squinting my eyes as I exited the gym, but I suddenly bumped into someone. I gasped, the phone slipping from my grasp and colliding with the ground. I was about to apologize profusely, not expecting someone to enter the gym right before closing time.
“I’m sorry —“
“No, no, I am —“
I peered up, and in the street lamps and car headlights, I recognized him instantly. Eddie Brock, seemingly a lot less tense, was standing before me with a panicked and awkward expression. A scowl immediately tugged against my lips and I leaned down to pick up my phone.
The man had the same idea, crouching and reaching. Our hands overlapped with one another as he apologized several times, but I was quick to swat at him. He still fumbled with his words as I snatched up my phone and stood up straight.
I glanced over my phone. Great. A few extra cracks coated the surface. Thanks, Eddie.
“I - I didn’t mean to run into you like that, Y/n —“
“What do you want, Eddie?” I snapped, shoving my phone into my pocket. “I’m busy. Whatever it is, can you just text me if it’s that goddamn important?”
Eddie froze in place, eyes wide and embarrassed. Even in the darkness, I could see how flustered he was, a deep blush coating his cheeks. There was scraggly hair across his jaw, just enough to indicate that he hadn’t bothered to shave this morning. He was wearing casual clothes, too, jeans and a teeshirt. He shoved his hands into his pocket, shuffling his foot against the cement.
“You, uh, blocked me, so…”
I rolled my eyes, about to take out my phone to unblock. However, his arm shot out and I paused, sending him a warning glare. He gulped anxiously before withdrawing his hand. I watched him warily.
“Nah, don’t worry about it. Um… I’m sorry for, uh, getting on your nerves earlier,” he started, voice wavering nervously. “I was just… wondering how you were doing recently. I didn’t really have a way to keep in touch, so…”
I quirked a brow and crossed my arms. “Why does my livelihood concern you, Eddie? It’s been, fucking, two years now at least.”
“Actually,” he corrected,” Two years and seven months. And three days, but, uh, who keeps count of something like that? I sure don’t. It’s just, uh, we’re friends, aren’t we? I mean, just because all that happened… Well, I, uh, care abut you, Y/n.”
“I can tell, Eddie,” I sighed rubbing my forehead in irritation. “Of course you kept count. Listen, Eddie, you really need to let go —“
“I just think we ended things on the wrong foot, is all —“
“Life moves on, pal —“
“What we had was something really special —“
“Just fucking shut up, Eddie!” I barked. The man fell silent, and I could tell how unhappy he was about how everything was going. “Can’t you take a hint? We’re not lovers, we’re not friends, and you’re literally a fucking stranger to me. Get that into your thick skull.”
Silence fell between us. I was fuming while Eddie’s shoulders slumped in depressive defeat. He could no longer make eye contact with me, and from how his eyes twitched, I could tell there was some sort of inner debate going on.
And then, he caved, turning his head away completely. “…Can I at least, uh, know if you’re doing alright?”
I exhaled out of sheer relief. I felt the stress wash off me as my thoughts returned to Tate. I held up my left hand, shaking it vigorously. He looked, and his entire body tensed. Because sitting on my ring finger was a ring. I almost felt bad for the guy. He was trying and he was trying hard.
“Listen, Ed, if you wanted to ‘catch up,’ you should’ve done it years ago. It’s over. I moved on. And I’m sorry for being harsh, but you really should, too.” I yielded no response, even when I lowered my hand. His age chased it, and he was clearly in a state of shock. “Have a good night.”
I started walking away, shoving my hands into my pocket in the direction of my nearby apartment.
“Fuck! Venom, don’t!”
I turned around, curious as to what was going on, but the moment I did, something black and inky stretched from Eddie’s body like a slinky and grasped onto my upper arm. Immediately, a shriek escaped, and it was clear from Eddie’s expression that the alien was attempting to take over but was being rivaled by Eddie.
I struggled at it, but the inky substance just read over my shoulder and tugged me closer like a game of tug of war. My sneakers were squeaking against the cement and I squirmed. Eddie was doing the same, swatting at the stretched out slime. It was oddly flesh-like, as even when I poked and prodded at it, it only seemed to solidify further.
A scream threatened to escape, but I knew that because of Venom’s reputation as a hero, nobody would intervene. I would be made out to be a villain. I kept sliding across the cement until my legs caved out completely and I fell to the ground.
“Venom, stop! Or I swear to god —“
“Or you swear to god what, Eddie?” a deep voice boomed audibly, the same head from earlier seeping from his backbone. “You’ll let them get away again? Just like before?”
“Please!” I pleaded. “D - don’t hurt me. I ha - haven’t done anything wrong!”
“You’re scaring them, dude! Just let her go!”
The head exchanged glances between us. A few tears had escaped and I managed to scrape my bare elbow against the ground. The beast was still grinning, and yet, as it stared me down, it changed to a shut-mouthed frown. It sighed lowly and dissolved back into Eddie’s flesh and blood.
I scrambled to my feet, a few sobs escaping. Eddie looked just as broken, motioning wildly. He was at a lost for words as he reached toward me. I turned, starting to walk away.
“Y/n, I - I’m sorry! That just means he likes you, I swear!”
I sent him a scowl, not stopping. “Tell him that the feeling’s not mutual.”
~~~
Eddie had never been so heartbroken and defeated, even during the weeks passing the break-up. He remembered it like yesterday; one moment, happy as can be, and the next, they’d packed their stuff up unannounced and called him a selfish deadbeat. It hurt like hell.
But, what was even worse, was that now his alien compadre had messed up any chance he had. ‘Stop moping around and grow some balls,’ he said. ‘Just talk to them,’ he said. ‘Don’t let them go,’ he said. And now, they was walking away, thinking even more lowly of him than ever.
“Hey man, the fuck was that about?” he boomed desperately, gritting his teeth and clenching his fists. Y/n was far enough away that yelling hardly concerned them, and yet, he couldn’t stop watching them. “How could you just do that? What, did you think you could scare them into submission or something?”
“Well…” Venom’s voice grumbled in slight embarrassment from inside Eddie’s mind.
“Well?” he snapped.
“Well, yes, actually.”
Eddie facepalmed instantly. “Jesus Christ. This whole thing is fucked. Never should’ve visited in the first place. I mean, they’re literally engaged!”
Venom went silent, detecting how peeved Eddie was. Sure, the symbiote cared. He cared just as much as Eddie did, if not more so. Because, for him, they were one of the same. Same body, same mind, she feelings. Venom just wasn’t a coward who watched the love of his life from a distance instead of actually doing something about his lingering feelings.
“There’s still something we can do,” Venom spoke carefully.
“What, man? What can we still do?”
“We need to follow. The fiancé of their’s… is a problem.”
Before Eddie could say or do anything, Venom took control. His ink spilled from his pores and covered every inch of his body. Only half of Eddie’s visage was visible due to Venom’s kindness, but other than that, he’d completely transformed into a bulky and strong alien shape.
Venom let out a low, rumbling chuckle. Some people had their heads hanging out of their car windows, taking photos with flash. They gleamed against Venom’s skin, but the monster paid it no heed. Eddie was still reeling from the heartbreak that, honestly, he didn’t care if Venom fucked things up even more. He was a goner the moment he set foot in the gym.
He was a goner the moment he let Y/n walk out that door all those years ago.
Venom suddenly outstretched his hand. He dived into an alleyway at top speed, using his inhuman strength to grasp onto the side of a building. As well-put-together and confident Venom feigned himself to be, he was just as concerned. Concerned that, for the sake of his and Eddie’s happiness, he’d have to do something a bit more drastic.
He bounded across the rooftops, oddly quiet. And then, as Y/n was spotted down below, shivering from the cold, he stopped. Eddie gulped, already knowing where this was going. It had been a while since Eddie trailed after them. In fact, he only stopped once Venom came into his life a few months ago. And, somehow, Eddie failed to realize the love of his life had gotten engaged amidst all of the city chaos.
Y/n turned the corner, peering over their shoulder. It was clear who they were looking for; Venom. But, much to their joy, of course they couldn’t see him. Venom was right above them, clinging to one of the sky scrapers. For someone so on edge, it was odd that they didn’t notice the pictures people were taking of the buildings above Y/n.
They kept walking. And then, a flew blocks down, they disappeared into a new and unfamiliar apartment complex. It was far larger than anything Eddie and Y/n had in the past. As Venom climbed up the various windows, they realized Y/n was living penthouse style. But, on the plus side of them dating someone far more endowed, rich penthouses were very open and spacious. So, that meant that, depending on what floor they were looking at, they could easily locate Y/n and the dreaded fiancé and see what the hell they were on about.
“This isn’t stalking, is it?” Eddie inquired carefully in a hushed voice, despite being very high off the ground where nobody could hear them. “I mean, we’re allowed to do this, right?”
“Eddie. This is stalking.”
Some fo the various penthouse owners noticed the odd alien creature climbing up the side of the building. Others didn’t, simply ignoring the odd shadow that passed over their apartment. And, as they climbed to about the tenth or eleventh floor, they noticed a woman sitting on a couch watching television while the front door opened.
“Shit!” Eddie cursed, but Venom was on top of it. He slid down the glass just below, peering the large head right through the large panes of glass. Y/n hadn’t noticed at all. The room was too dimly lit. Instead, they were kicking off their shoes.
Venom was an alien. And that meant his hearing was far superior to the average human’s.
“I’m back, babe!” Y/n called.
The fiancé had been snoring, only a poof of curly, blonde hair draped over the back of the couch. She suddenly sat up, a snore being cut short. Y/n laughed, apologizing at the same time, but the fiancé rose to meet their lover with a warm hug.
Y/n reciprocated, nuzzling into their significant other. As the hug ended, the fiancé placed a chaste kiss on Y/n’s cheeks. Eddie knew he didn’t have the right to, but his insides burned with jealousy. And, with Venom feeling everything he felt, the emotion was only turned up tenfold.
“God, what happened to you?” the fiancé fretted. “You’re all scratched up!”
Only as the couple gained some distance between each other did Eddie and Venom truly take in the fiancé’s appearance. She was pretty. Too pretty. She had golden hair that had natural curls and was a fairly petite woman. Y/n was far taller. She was dressed in her pajamas, consisting of a tank top and underwear. She was fairly cushy and fluffy with lots of curves, and it was no wonder Y/n fell for her. Especially if she was that… caring all the time.
Y/n sighed and shook their head. “Yeah. Today was total shit. My ex showed up at work to harass me. He left, but then as I was leaving, he showed up again! And this is the really obsessive and annoying one. Eddie Brock. The one that literally saved planet earth and all that because he’s half alien now. You’d think he’d move on to greener pastures, but nope.”
“You’re kidding! The alien did that to you?”
“Yeah. I would’ve thought it was pretty cool and exotic if I wasn’t scared shitless.”
The fiancé sighed and shook her head. She led Y/n by the arm over to the couch. Instead of letting the mood be ruined by Eddie’s ‘annoying’ existence - it physically hurt the man to hear that -, she pulled Y/n on top of her and unpaused the movie on the screen. It was in the middle of some chick flick, but Y/n didn’t voice any complaints.
Even though Eddie knew they hated chick flicks with a passion.
It stung and it stung a lot to see the human Venom adored with all of his slash Eddie’s being be so intimate with another person. And yet, as irrational as Venom was for an alien, he could read Eddie’s thoughts. And, for the first time, as the couple engaged in something far more rated R, he felt discouraged.
But then, it was a lightbulb went off in his head.
“Eddie,” he grumbled suddenly. “I have an idea.”
Eddie piped up immediately, replying,” Wh - what?”
“We’ll do it tomorrow.”
~~~
I pulled up to my future wife’s workplace. As I parked the car and stepped outside, though, horror immediately dawned on me. The bottom-right side of the hospital was lit ablaze, and the entire parking lot was being filled by various doctors, patients, and visitors alike. Screams echoed in the air and I was left frozen in shock. My eyes scanned the entrance, praying that Tate would exit. The woman had to. But I knew that her kindness knew no bounds, and she’d end up prioritizing her patients.
The police and fire department had surely been alerted by now. I shoved my phone into my back pocket, the donuts I’d brought for Tate as a surprise long since forgotten. They’d probably melt in the car, but I couldn’t care less. I began walking through the severely crowded parking lot, and as I made my way through the bulk of the crowd, I paused in the entrance.
“Tate?” I called, although it was easily drowned out by everyone else’s screams and cries of terror. “Tate, where are you?”
I was shoved to the ground. The people were beginning to disperse, some complete with the hospital bed itself. Some with IV bags. And same in wheelchairs. Panic washed over me as I could see clearly into the entrance. Tate wasn’t in sight, and that scared the shit out of me. After such a difficult existence, I dreaded the thought of losing the one person I adored to a fucking fire.
I rose to my feet, planning to head inside. I took but one step, and then relief washed over me.
Tate emerged from around a corner, hauling dozens of kids with her. They must’ve been from the chemo-therapy ward because most had lost their hair or were in wheelchairs. Tears sprung to my eyes and I beckoned for her. She was panting, and yet, there wasn’t a trace of fear on her expression. She was far too focused on getting the kids out, accompanied by several other doctors and nurses.
“Y/n!” she called, a smile spreading to her cheeks. “Help me with the kids!”
I did so, entering and pushing two of the wheelchairs further. Once everyone was safely in the parking lot, I realized that reinforcements - other than ambulances - had yet to arrive. They were sounding in the distance, but somehow, the fucking news reporters beat the people who’s lives depended on them.
The moment Tate set down the loast child, ushering them to ambulances, I enveloped her in a warm hug. She reciprocated, cooing softly. “Why… are you here?” she inquired, although gratefulness laced her tone.
“I - I was dropping off a snack for you,” I gushed, before separating to look her over. “God, are you okay? Did you get burned at all —?”
“I’m fine, Y/n,” she giggled. “I just had to help in any way I could. It’s my job.”
I scrunched up my nose and pressed a quick kiss to her lips. “Fuck. I was scared I could’ve lost you.”
Suddenly, a crash came from the building. Gasps erupted across the parking lot. Some cheers escaped others, and that’s when Tate and I saw him. Crashing into the building was Venom himself, here to save the day and serve his 'fellow’ man.
Hi can I request Yan!Venom/Eddie Brock and Yan!Tony Stark liking the same female s/o?
Tumblr media
♡Tony Stark and Eddie Brock (+Venom)♡ — Liking the Same Darling
Tumblr media
Note: Check out my other blog, @blacklunardice for more yandere Marvel stuff!
Warning(s): Possessive Behavior, Mentions of Paranoia (from Tony), Mentions of Threats/Death (from Venom), Slight Manipulation, Overprotective Behavior
Tumblr media
The two (three) don't really cross paths with one another for a good while, given their occupations and locations. Which is good because utter chaos would ensue when they all clash and figure out that they all are infatuated with the same person. A good portion of time that is peaceful (if you can even call it that given who you're dealing with) before the coming storm. The contrasting personalities and possessiveness (mostly coming from Tony and Venom) will be the sole reason why they can't cooperate or get along. So it's good to appreciate any amount of time before they all officially meet.
On one end, there is Tony: the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist who is also Iron Man. Some might say he would have the advantage in this situation because of those titles. As mentioned before in his headcanons, he is not very fond of you having people around who are considered to be 'too close' to you. It sets off his paranoia and he hates that. So imagine this: you are good friends with Eddie Brock and Tony knows this. He automatically does not like Eddie at all. He is aware that you have your fair share of friends, yes, but Eddie seems to be a different case considering that it looks to be that you spend more time with the journalist than any of your other friends. This gets under Tony's skin.
Then on the other end is Eddie and Venom: vigilantes (sort of) who is deemed as a stubborn man with his own set of morals. Eddie is a chill guy when it comes to you hanging out with friends; doesn't really bother him. It did bother Venom, however, as he grew possessive over you. He even pondered on the idea of biting off that one person's head off when he caught sight of them potentially flirting with you. Of course Eddie shut that idea down, not wanting to upset you, but knew that the person needed to be dealt with some way... Just not immediate murder unless they attempt to hurt you in any way.
Over the course of time, his symbiote companion had taken notice of someone else's presence upon you. Says there's a faint scent of them lingering onto you, but Eddie figures that it's that big shot you've been acquainted with. He's heard some things about him in conversation with you, and damn did hearing the details about this guy make his skin crawl. Eddie knows that he can't offer you too much, but it really eats at him when it becomes painfully obvious. What sets him off a little more is how you spend time with this man alone. Venom of course suggests tracking this guy down, which Eddie obliges to. It's only to make sure the man you work with is not trying anything at all.
In the situation where the two of them do meet through you, the tension is thick. Tony is passive aggressive in conversation with Eddie, jokingly throwing jabs at him. Your close friend tries to laugh it off so you don't suspect his unease and stiff attitude. All the while Venom's growls can be heard in the back of his head. All three of them already felt like the other was bad news, but now it just escalated to silent hostility. To which they made sure you wouldn't notice of course.
Tony's method of winning your affections, as mentioned before, is ensuring you receive the best out of life. He is a man who loves seeing you happy and absolutely thrives on the fact that he is the cause of that. One thing he's noticed about your friendship with Eddie is the fact that he is the shoulder you'd cry on. It irks Tony. So... Why can't he be that as well? He always makes it a reminder to you that whatever is on your mind, you don't have to hesitate in talking to him about it. But oh, if Tony ever sees hints of what Eddie is hiding... He'll use that to his advantage. He will absolutely share his concerns over your friend and his intentions. Tony speaks about how shady he seems and should you mention how the two of you are close friends, Tony can just say that a close friend could always just back stab you. It's more likely them than a stranger.
Eddie on the other hand, immediately expresses his concerns about Tony. That guy is extremely haughty, which he absolutely hates. What if he's just using you? What if he's one of those people who just kidnap people for their sick little games (you comment how he's been seeing that one movie too many times...)? Venom just wants to straight up get things over with, but Eddie assures the symbiote that they'll get to that. If you're insistent on keeping tabs with Stark, he won't argue further, but he does want to be around when you do go see Tony. It's only because he deeply cares for your safety. If he can't be there, Eddie lets it be known that if anything happens, you need to call him immediately and he'll be there.
The three have their fair share of flaws too, but also advantages. They're all waiting for the other to slip up in some way and that will let them know the next move to make. Finally putting down the facade and engaging in a full on confrontation. You could try to stop things, but really, it's up to you how things will be decided.
Just saw that you write for Venom! What do you think Venom and Eddie would be like as yanderes?
I feel Eddie would be more of a "keep it under wraps and don't scare them off" kind of yandere, while Venom is more of a "Protect at all costs, force them to live with us, kill any threats" kind of yandere.
Eddie is gentle and sweet, wanting you to stay social and live a happy life when he's busy, while Venom would prefer to keep you safe in a house where no one can easily enter, and the only company is them and maybe an uber eats driver.
Both would bicker and fight but nothing too serious, agreeing that they can compromise and try to make both their desires come to life. Venom would like to watch you eat, being fed by one or both of them, for the satisfaction that he can provide for two mates. Eddie thinks it's weird but doesn't argue much as he has to keep his promise about letting Venom do what his species needs before things get too ugly for both of you.
Ohmygod your thoughts on Yandere Miguel give me life
Idk how your blog works so feel free to ignore and delete this ask but I have some thoughts I'd like your take on
So platonic yandere Miguel with a teen reader who's crushing on a villain from her universe (im a sucker for the enemies to lovers trope </3). And villain reciprocates feelings but is obviously evil (i can't fix them I'll love them for it) so Miguel HATES it even more.
And I'm imagining that villain is also a yandere so there's just gonna be so much drama like AHDISHDUSHD
But yes this idea has been bouncing around in my head alot
If you give me permission I shall come in here with more thoughts on this if I get them
Anygays have a nice day or night make sure to stay hydrated!!!
*Tyler the creator voice* ok ok ok ok ok
so, I was thinking of something earlier, and, I forgot to grab a screenshot of it, but, extremely incredibly minor ATSV spoiler, when Miles is being shown the holograms of the Spiderverse, another series of canon events that is shown is every Spider having some sort of Symbiote experience (as in Venom, which, I have to admit, I'm uh, not extremely knowledgeable on Spiderman lore, I've been out of the game with this series since like grade school, I used to be big on DC and TMNT and hero shit, so, yeah)
Reader is just crushing on like, some evil Eddie Brock or some bad boy with a Symbiote, and dedicated/obsessive Papá Miguel instantly recognizes when your moods and behaviors start to change, more rebellious, more moody, you're becoming a bit more assertive, but not always in the good way, you're hurting people, maybe even stealing and other petty crimes. He presses you on who you've been hanging out with because APPARENTLY you've been sneaking off your watch so you can't inherently be tracked or spied on or contacted
Some drama ass shit like, Miguel has been trying to reach you because you both have some sort of really sentimental or important date coming up, maybe the anniversary of when he first met you or your birthday or his birthday where you both were supposed to do something nice together, something that's been planned and talked about for ages, and then, this rebellion stuff begins and, the date comes and you completely ghost him, he can't find you, contact you, he's frustrated and angry but also worried because what if you're hurt? What if his baby girl is HURT 🥺 SURELY that's the ONLY reason you wouldnt show up and break your poor stressed beloved daddy's heart liks this 🥺 and he finally finds you and you're totally fine, it's just like "haha sorry 'dad' I was getting railed by my evil big tall hunky villain boyfriend and also I have a Symbiote now, look at my spooky black costume, im evil now :)" and here's Miguel like "NOOO PRINCESA 😭😱✝️", but, technically he's only able to interfere in certain ways, like, maybe he can pressure you to break up with this guy but your Symbiote is canon and whether you defeat it and get rid of it or somehow master it and befriend it like say Ghost Spider, that isn't up to him, he can only pressure you but he can't MAKE you do anything, at least, not directly
You're running around having your rebellious Evil Girl Autumn and he's trying to, you know, steer you back onto the path of righteousness and all that and the harder he tries to control you the angrier you're getting until you're even losing your temper and throwing things at him or eventually physically attacking him (to which he's forced to overpower you which, you two have sparred before but this is different and it breaks his heart). You throw your watch at him and tell him to go fuck himself, that you hate him, that you never want to see him again, but you're crying and he takes this as a sign you aren't serious (which, you aren't, not 100% completely, you kinda lowkey ARE having a huge temper tantrum and rebellious phase and being a criminal brat, but, like.... spiderverse babyyyy we got Spider powers, shit has no consequences, or so it feels like to you at the time, and the Symbiote is maybe questionably evil and corrupting your thoughts)
Oh I just realized you said teen reader and here I am talking about getting railed 💀 maybe the villain is a teen too or just a few years older than you but either way like. Miguel doesn't want his sweet innocent pure virginal baby girl having sex! With anyone! Especially before marriage! (Although i was hearing he's kind of a slut in the comics?) He ever finds that shit out it's like, A CRISIS EVENT. He's like that one stereotype of brothers/fathers who hate seeing their sister/daughter date because that's the baby the raised/grew up with. Picture having an argument with him and you're just trying to piss him off and like, it's true but in anger you say "OH YEAH? oh YEAH??? Well, well, you know how you hate Hobie Brown so much?! We've been dating JUST TO MUTUALLY SPITE YOU, and you know what, i actually like him, and he likes me! Maybe we'll hook up for real! Maybe I'll FUCK HIM, DAD :) maybe we'll HAVE A BABY TOGETHER, DAD :)"
Like girlie nooooo you're getting put into The Biggest Time-Out The Multiverse Has Ever Seen. You think getting locked up in a room would be bad, NO, because at least you'd have some vague sense of privacy and personal space. You're now on 24/7 Daughter Duty, with him literally all the time except for, bathing and that stuff. He's dragging you around, making you accompany him, controlling what you're allowed to do, really an extended prolonged punishment. Hss making you sit in his office or whatever while he works and you'll be absolutely fucking bored out of your mind because you're basically given nothing to do, have no phone, no tasks really. He's not outright hurting or abuse you but it's a kind of psychological burden for you, but from his perspective he's just, basically guarding you like a dedicated father, protecting his baby from tarnishing her reputation, her body, and otherwise when he isn't there. CLEARLY he has a lot more fathering to give you than he originally thought
Howdy. I like your platonic Yandere mcu stuff so I’m gonna pitch some at you. (I don’t write it myself because my writing list is already 40+ ideas long and I do not have time to add to it).
I’m assuming you’ve seen Venom. Imagine them as a platonic Yandere for Peter.
It starts off with Eddie Brock, investigative reporter, looking into the New York vigilante spider man. He manages to discover Peter’s secret identity, and starts to question the ethics of the situation. This is a child out on the streets fighting crime, and that’s not okay.
And then he gets attached to Venom.
And venom fuels his more intense impulses.
Maybe the spider that bit Peter Parker is related to the symbiote somehow, which makes Parker seem like a baby symbiote. And Venom needs to protect him, feels the urge to eat anyone that gets in his way.
Oh...like "VENOM PROTECT", it would be kind of a horror story too actually! But I really wouldn't want to steal your idea 🥹 Why don't you try writing it when you have the time? 🩵
For the Faint of Heart
How many times had Eddie told you to prioritize your time better when you were working? He knew you got too caught up in what you were doing that you would just forget but then you would become overwhelmed and overworked like you have been plenty of times before. To say Eddie wasn’t surprised when he got a call from one of your coworkers saying you had fainted at work was an understatement. He was expecting it to say the least.
He knew you better then you knew yourself and he knew that something like this was bound to happen again. But that didn’t make him any less worried and Venom certainly wasn’t helping with the symbiotes own anxiety and worries were added to the cocktail of emotions Eddie was currently feeling.
‘What if you had hit your head when you fainted?’
‘What if you fainted while you were going up or down the stairs?’
‘What if this was more than just you fainting?’
Eddie’s mind was swimming with questions and worries. His and Venom’s anxieties were mixing and only making him feel even worse. He just wanted to see that you were okay and get you home. He just wanted to see you. Rushing through the hospital, Eddie made his way to the room where the nurse at the desk said you would be.
Once he sees you, Eddie and Venom can feel some of the tension and anxiety leave them. It’s especially nice seeing you awake and aware. You’re obviously very tired and you looked pale, but you still smiled at him, at them. And his heart skipped a beat.
Quickly walking in and enveloping you into his arms, Eddie inhales your scent before kissing you on the forehead. Pulling away he looks you over, finding no real injuries at least nothing he could see.
“You had us really worried, baby. Are you okay?” He was panting, out of breath from running and rushing to be by your side. He was so relieved to see you were okay, they both were, even if you were tired. Pulling up a chair, he sets it across you and your place on the hospital bed. Grabbing ahold of your hand, rubbing it as you explain what the doctors had told you.
“They said it’s nothing serious but I will be on bed rest for a few days and that I shouldn’t be working while I’m trying to rest. Also, I’ve been given a few extra days off from work, a forced vacation I guess you could say.”
Eddie couldn’t have been happier to here those words leave your lips. He was so relieved that you would need to be away from that hellish workplace.
“Well, doctors orders right?” He joked.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah. Besides it would be nice to spend some extra time with you and Venom, especially with work not being in the way for awhile.” You laughed.
‘I like the sound of that, Eddie. Don’t you?’ Venom’s voice cuts in, making itself loud and clear.
‘That does sound nice, doesn’t it? And maybe this time we won’t have to let them leave again. We can take care of them after all.’
‘Yes. We will keep them safe always, Eddie. You and I. Together. It will only be the three of us.’
‘Just the three of us....’
REDO: Symbiotes being assholes
ok so I noticed a few of you guys wanted a part 4 to that symbiote series, the one that ended off with Anti-Venom getting reader, and another for the one of playing uno with toxin. but after reading both, I realized I cannot just let them be written like that. I think I've become a better writer since then, and tbf it's almost been like. 2 years since then. so I've decided to re-write both of them! probably next week will either be another of this series or of the toxin one, but either way I wanted to give another chance at them because they bring so many happy memories but also. I can't stand to read the things I used to write lol. so here's the first part to the symbiotes being assholes series, but a re-written version!
summary: after eddie takes you from your comfortable life with your family, you can say that you absolutely hate him and his stupid symbiote. but after a realization, you begin to think that your original decision was wrong.
words: 4286
warnings: talk of murder, kidnapping, stolkhome syndrome, cussing, lmk if I missed any!
The walls were an ugly tan, it was uglier than your own room when you left it. The ceiling was one of those popcorn ceilings, the windows were somehow tinted brown, and the floorboards creaked whenever you stepped somewhere in your room.
You hated it. You wanted to say you disliked it, as negativity was everywhere in this apartment, but you hated it. You hated the smell, you hated the look, even the damn traffic outside.
And you certainly hated the man who brought you here.
Eddie Brock, he was a reporter and journalist on certain violent crimes, however, after losing his job when he went snooping somewhere he definitely wasn’t supposed to, he has had to resort to his own jobs, and finding different opportunities himself.
And most importantly, you hated him. He left you in the apartment for hours on end, with nothing to do, besides maybe turn on the TV, and watch the same channels over and over again.
The only thing that kept you sane in this hole they called an “apartment” was, surprisingly, his books. He had tons, and tons of books. Mostly collectors or true crime books. You didn’t really care for them before, but they’ve gained a new appreciation from you.
Everyday, you would read the books, sometimes switching in between different ones, and trying to figure out the pieces yourself, even if the answer was given to you.
Other times, you would feel a little dumb when you read them, as you couldn’t figure it out within the first few chapters. It was hard for you to not just flip to the ending of it and read those pages with those books.
Whenever he left, you would grab one or two, and hide yourself in your room. Sometimes, if the day was less cloudy than usual, you would sit in front of the living room couch and read them there.
Going through the pages, reading every word, plot twist, and analyzing every character. With your favorites, you would re-imagine the stories with yourself in them. You would begin to think you’re crazy sometimes, thinking like this.
But you didn’t care. You had long learned that no one was in your mind, reading your thoughts. It was just you. Alone.
Sometimes you would stare outside, through the dirty window, and wonder to yourself what would you do if you got the opportunity to go outside again. You could go downtown, there was that little cafe you and your friends would visit. There was the city park, while dirty, you remember what the grass felt like when you would run around barefoot. Oh, and the movies! Your family liked to watch any latest movie, as it was a fun outing for all of you.
And then, it would get too overwhelming. Those nights always made you cry.
Of course, you would never tell him. Or Venom. Besides, even if you did, they were always out. With some exceptions, they would leave around noon and come back at 8 or 9 in the evening.
This was also the reason why they would be present for the first few hours you would be awake. Everyday with them was almost a routine. They would gently wake you up, let you get dressed, eat your breakfast that they made for you, brush your teeth and hair, and then you would be with them until they left.
Sometimes they would just talk absently to you, like they didn’t expect you to answer. Other times, they would ask you questions about what you wanted, what you liked, and just try to have basic conversations.
Of course, you never really participated. At least, you tried not to. Your spite and anger were stronger than your fear, and you would glare at them whenever they tried to talk to you.
They would keep trying, however. Every day was a new topic, or sometimes they would bring up a previous talk to try and engage you. However, nothing was as bad as when they decided to get physical.
While you were relieved their anger wasn’t as present as yours (if they even had any towards you), they would force you to cuddle with them. Even if you tried to push away, you realized that fighting against a big man with a bigger alien was not a good idea. So, you would just let them sit there and hold you, never letting go.
Eventually, they would let go, and you would try not to show how eager you were to get out of their hold.
You remember one time, it was late at night, and they had had a bad day. Something about some weird guy making them mad, if you recalled. They had just grabbed you and hugged you on the couch.
While you were uncomfortable at first, you started to feel yourself relax for the first time since you were taken. You felt your shoulders drop, your jaw unclenched. It almost felt like going into a warm bath on a chilly night. It was… pleasant.
You had closed your eyes, ready to fall asleep when you heard their small chuckle. Your eyes never shot open as quickly as then, and yet, you found yourself wanting to go back to sleep.
Unbelievable! You screamed to yourself, trying to rationalize with yourself: this isn’t right.
But unfortunately, you didn’t win that night. You had told yourself, it’s only one night, it won’t kill me, even as your morality was sitting in the back of your mind, even as it was screaming at you to get up and go, you didn’t listen.
It was too comfortable, it was too cozy, you didn’t want to leave. The thought hit you before you went to sleep.
You didn’t want to leave.
---
The first slap in the face was the fact that you stopped checking the date every day. It was just something you remembered, before you realized why it was so important.
How long has it been? 3 months? 4? You tried to remember the date you were taken. It was a Wednesday, right? Or was it a Thursday?
Eddie had started to let you watch the TV with him. Mainly just news channels, as he would give a basic summary of what he would have to do that day. This morning, he had made you eggs and hashbrowns. He had apologized for the little amount of food he had, as he still had to go to the store. You had a little laugh to yourself, “I don’t really care, your food usually tastes good.”
He gave you a small smile, “Well, so long as Venom doesn’t cook anything.”
“I make great food! I don’t even need this food, I can eat both of you!”
You and Eddie laughed with each other, before he gave you his mini summary of what his day was going to be.
“... so apparently, they think her mom is behind all of it, but they aren’t sure.”
“Hasn’t she been found, though?”
“Yes, but apparently the whole time they kept her in a sealed room and when they would enter, they would wear masks over their face.”
“Damn. That doesn’t sound easy to find out.”
Eddie was trying to find his sweater, and you had opted to help him find it. The bedroom, living room, even the bathroom, you couldn’t find it.
“Well, it might be easier to figure out than finding my damn jacket.” You had given him a small chuckle, before Venom suddenly jumped in. “I can be the sweater!”
Before either of you could respond, he wrapped himself onto Eddie, giving him an almost jet black jacket, the same as his other one. Just, of course, this time it was Venom.
Eddie walked back to the kitchen, before returning, this time with his little bag he carried his stuff in.
“I’m gonna be a little late today, they all live in the upper state. Hopefully, since I’m leaving early, I’ll be earlier than expected, but we still have leftovers from yesterday's dinner, too.”
You picked up your plate, and went to grab his. “Don’t worry, I won’t starve.”
“Good. If you wanted me too, I could grab something from the way home?”
You thought about the idea of your favorite takeout, your mouth watering at the image in your mind. “That would be great, actually. Thank you.”
He unlocked the front door, before he turned to meet your eye. “Remember, late day today. I’ll be back this evening, though.”
And with that he closed the door.
You brought the plates and dishes to the sink, cleaning off any little bits left, and then set them out to dry on the little rack you had on the counter.
When putting down the last plate, you realized that that was probably the most you’ve ever talked with them. You also realized you weren’t angry at all towards him.
---
Every day you were becoming more and more compliant with your situation. You were hiding it, almost as good as your sadness from the nights you would think about the outside. Actually, you hadn’t even wondered about your family for a while. Or your friends, or your favorite places.
And it was starting to scare you. Really scare you.
You had tried to make yourself wonder about your previous life, but then, all the negatives popped up. The work of school, your own actual work you would attend, your doubts in your friends' trust.
It was weird for you to think about. Every time you wandered back to those memories, something negative would pop up. Even when you thought of the more positive memories. The cafe you remembered when your friends forgot about the meetup and didn’t even show up. The park has always been dirty, you just didn’t remember it. And the movies were really only for your parents, never to take into consideration on what you wanted.
You tried to go back to when you hated the place, to when you would cry yourself to sleep and wonder if you were ever able to leave.
It was harder and harder to go back to that mindset.
Today was another day you just decided to go with it. You were too tired to fight against your exhaustion of wondering what you should feel, so you would just act normally in front of them.
Today was another early-late day for him.
“This time, I don’t think I’ll be able to get anything from a restaurant, sorry.”
“That’s fine with me, I think I can make dinner myself tonight. How about stir fry?”
He walked past you, putting on his shoes at the door. “That sounds great. You can make it early, I can just reheat it.”
You smiled, gathering up the dishes you had left on the table.
“Oh, hey, by the way.”
You stopped and looked at him. “You haven’t had anyone come to knock on the doors lately, right?”
You shook your head, “No, the last time someone knocked on the door was around 3 weeks ago? Can’t remember.”
He hummed, “Well, if someone does, and you can’t see anyone through the viewport, don’t answer the door.”
Laughing, you put the glasses in the sink. “What, is some serial killer going to knock on the door waiting for me to answer?”
There wasn’t anything from the doorway. You turned around, confused, only to almost jump. His face was worried. Like he had just seen a ghost.
“Don’t answer the door. In fact, don’t even make a noise if someone does.”
Your heart started to quicken, not only from what he was saying, but also because of the sudden switch in mood.
“Oh… ok.” You awkwardly shuffled around, trying to get the rest of the plates without meeting his gaze.
“Alright.” he sighed, turning back to the door. “I’ll be back this evening. Love you.”
“Love you, too.” the door closed and you could hear the lock turning, before you heard his footsteps towards the stairs.
Walking back to the living room, you decided to yourself the dishes could wait. You wanted a nap. You absentmindedly thought of what he said. Why was he so worried about the knocking? Was there a news story that scared him? He had told you sometimes, with stories that were too graphic, he would wonder about if someone like that was going to go after him or you.
Well, he seemed alright when you both said bye-
You said you loved him.
---
That afternoon, instead of doing anything you were planning on doing, you had a mini mental talk with yourself.
You had to decide what you wanted. No, you had to decide if you wanted this or your old life back. This was getting out of hand.
First, you let yourself relax around them, then you started being friendly with them, and now you're acting just as they want you to: to be a good kid who does what they're told and doesn’t make a fuss.
You even said you loved him! Like a real family…
Did you want that? No. No, not at all. You wanted your old family, your old friends. But, this was so much more comfortable. I mean, no job, no worries, you used to think about all the worries you would have when you graduated your college, now the most you worry about is what you will have for food that night!
Is it that bad? The thoughts in your head clashed together, and you soon realized that it had been a few hours since they left. 6:04. Had you really been thinking about it this long?
You wanted to tell yourself you’d get over it, that it was going to just pass, but the more thoughts rushed into your head. This is not something that can just pass as easily as a test, this has to be a conscious decision.
But you couldn’t do it. You realized you had far too many indecisive thoughts and feelings at that moment. Everything you had been thinking about was solely based on your situation. You turned on the TV to try and get some static, barely listening to the reporter, who was spouting off some weather reports for the next day.
“-and breaking from Michelle here, we have more info on the Midtown Murders.”
What?
Turning up the volume, you listened. “Well, police haven’t said who their suspect is, but they believe that whoever is responsible is still loose. Reports say that the killer walks around the evenings from 6 in the evening all the way to 5 in the morning. I mean, really, can all we do is wait for them to kill us all?”
“Well, while the city council has asked the city for a curfew time from the evenings to the mornings, they have been very lenient on what they want. However, what we can tell is that-”
Knock knock.
Startling yourself, you jumped for the remote, putting the TV on mute. You listened again, and before you could convince yourself it wasn’t anyone, you heard it again.
It was almost like a loud boom. But it was just someone at the door.
Quietly, you sneaked up to the door. It felt so weird. It shouldn’t be this scary. It was just someone at the door! You looked through the peephole, hoping to see someone there.
To your relief, there was someone you recognized. The apartment owner, Roger, if you remember correctly.
“Eddie? Are you there?”
Straightening up, you said, “No, he’s not here at the moment.”
“Who- oh. Uh, when will he be home?” He said.
“Around 10 probably.”
“10?! I- Alright, I’ll just come back tomorrow. Would you let him know that?”
“Yeah, I will.” You relaxed your shoulders, and let out a sigh you didn’t even know you were holding.
“Well thank you anyway.” You heard his footsteps go away from the door, when you suddenly remembered your whole decision talk.
This could be your chance! You haven’t talked to anyone besides Eddie and Venom since… Well, it felt like forever!
“Wait!” While you instantly regretted it, the rational part of your mind pushed away your embarrassment.
He seemingly stopped in the middle of the hallway. “What?”
You stood silently for a moment. Should you? You knew he had the keys to the apartment. He could get you out. You could be free.
“Did you, uh, need something?” You didn’t realize he had walked a little closer back thinking you were going to say something.
“Uh.” Should I? Turning outside the window, you saw the almost beautiful city, glowing and gleaming, even if it was a tinted window.
“Could you open the door for me?I lost the extra set of keys we had, and he changed the lock so it could only be opened with a key.”
You heard sputtering, before, “He did WHAT? He didn’t even tell me!”
While you thought he would drag into you, you heard the door lock open. “Well, I’ll see if I have a spare, but you have to be more careful with these things, you know. They’re not cheap.”
Getting out of your trance with the lights, you quickly replied, “Thank you, I’m sure I’ll find it before you get a spare, though.”
He grumbled something, “Well, don’t count on me for one if you can’t find it.”
And with that, he walked off.
---
It was another hour before you finally faced the door again. Originally, your mind didn’t even want to face it, too scared of the planning and thoughts that rushed to your head. But you soon realized that it was too stupid to hide in your room, so you walked back outside.
You didn’t even sit at the couch, you just plopped yourself in front of the door. You were trying to reason with yourself, with one side telling you to make a run for it, while the other saying to wait, that you needed to think about this.
What is there to think about? You’ve been thinking this whole day! In fact, you haven’t even had anything to eat or drink, you haven’t done any chores, you’ve just been sitting on the damn couch and pondering on what your decision was going to be!
And that got your mind going. What’s gonna happen when Eddie comes back home to you having not done anything all day, you haven’t made any dinner, you haven’t even eaten or taken care of yourself yet, and to top it all off, the door was open.
You wouldn’t be able to make an excuse. There would be no excuses. He would find out. He would get mad. What would he do? Would he finally let go of all the anger? Every single time you cussed at him, that you yelled at him, hell even when you were in your no talking phase: is he going to remember all of that and actually attack you?
You didn’t even realize you had grabbed some random bag you found and filled it with clothes and snacks. You didn’t have much to bring, really:
Standing at the door, with the bag in your hand, you were about to start crying.
Do it! Your mind screamed. Get out of here before he comes back!
But he’ll find you! The other part yelled. He’s gonna be so mad, and everything that you’ve worked for will be gone!
You looked back to the window, the whole thing that you could theoretically say started this whole mess. It didn’t look so pretty now. In fact, it looked ugly. There were no stars, there were no pretty colors in the sky: just black, with the city lights peaking out.
But you didn’t want it to look pretty: it looked like freedom. It looked like the outside. You could almost feel the ground beneath you, the smell, even if it wasn’t that great.
You could see your family again.
Turning back to the door, your mind screamed in all directions. Don’t leave! Why do you want to be in some prison for the rest of your time? You’ll be safe here! You’re only gonna rot in here! Who’s gonna love you outside, anyway?
Do you really want to spend the rest of your life tucked away?
You turned the knob of the door, and quickly rushed outside, thinking someone was going to grab you and drag you back inside. You stayed still for a moment. There was nothing. No one was there. Just you, and your pacing heart. You wanted to cry.
Looking at the time, it was only 7:30. You had at least 2 hours before he even got home.
I mean, if you really regret it, you can just return right back on time, right?
You didn’t need any more motivation. You closed the door and ran down the hall.
---
You don’t know how long you’ve been running for. After you got out of the apartment, you ran all the way down the street, ignoring anything and everything in your way. But after what felt like eternity, and after your lungs started to burn until you couldn’t take it, you sat down at some random city bench.
You were out. You were free. You didn’t know what to do, either. You had just been running for, what, the past 10 minutes?
You sat there for a good while before your mind finally caught up to you.
What could you do? Did you want to go back? You could theoretically ask someone for help, get back to your family…
Right? Because that’s the reason you left. You want to get away from Eddie, from Venom, it doesn't matter how much your heart hurts, or how your feelings hurt, you have to get away.
Resting your head in your hands, you silently screamed to yourself. You didn’t know whether you should jump for joy or if you should collapse sobbing to yourself.
God, you thought, everything is against me…
“Are you lost?”
Shooting up, you turned to the owner of the voice, which revealed some middle aged looking guy. He had red hair, and was pretty skinny.
“Uh, no.” You sat back down, embarrassed you were so startled by a guy you should have already seen. “No, I’m just… resting.”
“Hmm.” he walked closer, and while your instincts told you to walk away, you were too tired. You wanted to cry and scream at the same time, and you really wanted to go to sleep.
“Sorry, you just seemed like you didn’t know what you were doing.”
You would’ve laughed at the irony if you weren’t simultaneously scared and sad. “Yeah, yeah, I’m… just tired.”
He sat down on the bench with you, albeit on the other side. You both sat in a semi comfortable silence, with him just staring off into the distance, like he didn’t even realize you were there, while you were going through the five stages of grief all at once.
“Are you from here?”
Getting your shit together, you said “Uh, yeah, I am.”
“That’s nice. What’s your name?”
“______.”
He hummed, and it went back to silence for a minute. Then, he asked, “Do you know someone by the name Eddie Brock?”
You stiffened. What? “Excuse me?”
“Eddie Brock.” He repeated, turning to you. “You know, famed journalist and reporter, was into discovering true crime cases, decided to go behind his wife’s back and look up secret info that spiraled his career downward, but now he just does job to job?”
You quickly sobered yourself, and while thinking of what to say, he stood up abruptly.
“I know you do, don’t worry. I was just wondering how you knew him.”
You quickly realized how fucked you actually were. This guy was skinny, which probably meant he could run faster than you. There wasn’t anyone around, which was great for your whole mental breakdown, it wasn’t good for being alone with some random guy.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Before you could even think, his face almost morphed into one similar to Venom. But this time, it was blood red, and he wore a smile on his face that stretched ear to ear.
“Oh, but I know you do!”
You didn’t even need to think about the different options you had then, you just ran.
Of course, it didn’t do you much good, as you were picked up within a matter of seconds, and tossed into the air like some toy.
“I know you know what I know!” He sang in a sing-song voice, grabbing you by the waist. You realized he was perched on top of a street light. You realized he had doubled in size and went from some skinny man to a huge symbiote, almost bigger than Venom.
“I can smell him all over you, y’know! There’s no need to lie!”
Looking down, you couldn’t even say anything as it felt like you were going to be dropped at any second, only focusing on your balance in his hand. Trying to pry his hand open wasn’t working at all as he laughed.
“Well, unfortunately for you, you’re gonna have to deal with me now!”
You felt yourself getting thrown over his shoulder and your head beginning to get a headache. Your whole body lurched from one side to the other, and you realized you were in the air.
“We’re gonna love you!”
As you felt the wind rushing in your face, the smells of the city around you, and your heartbeat pounding in your ears, you comically thought that all of this could have been avoided if you just listened to your feelings.
*Check out the bio to see my new update schedule! I want to prioritize commissions from my kind supporters. Check out commission in my master list if you're interested!
Tate and I pulled one another to the side, nearby the kids but also close to our car. Only as the superhero swooped into action did the other reinforcements arrive, but Venom had other plans for that. The monster slid to the ground and tore the fire hydrant from the ground. As water spewed, it was as though the alien absorbed it into his skin.
I could see half of Eddie’s face through it all. He turned back toward the building and the water started spewing from the black slime. More screams sounded from the corridors inside, and the creature seemed to pick that up. Letting the fire fighters start doing things, Venom crashed through one of the windows on the third floor. He disappeared inside, although the racing footsteps could still be heard.
A few minutes and many people’s phone storage later, the creature emerged. Venom let out a haughty laugh, seemingly engaged in casual conversation with Eddie. In several arms, he held an old woman with a broken leg, a hospitalized old man, and a young person with an IV bag. Venom emerged from the building, leaping from the fire, and people made way.
 News reporters were already attempting to swarm the man slash alien. However, he set the people down, tongue swiping over the bottom row of fangs. They then turned and jumped right back into action, disappearing into the building. Half of the fire was extinguished and smoke bloomed even higher.
Me and Tate watched the scene in awe. As I saw how Venom was capable of so much good, it almost swept what happened last night from my mind. But I remembered how desperate Eddie was. And the symbiote clearly took his side just as much.
It was almost frightening.
“Hey, Tate,” I muttered,” do you kinda have the afternoon off? We can go get some lunch once the parking lot clears up. You must be stressed.”
“Not at all,” she chirped. “But I’d love that, babe. We should get the usual. Our favorite steak place.”
“Yeah. Our favorite steak place.”
The man was on my mind and I thought to how Eddie’s ‘our place’ was a local - and quite shady - pizza place. He insisted on only that and nothing different. He stuck us in a bubble and settled only for that. Our ‘dates’ ended up going the same. Going to Marzanno’s, ordering the large pepperoni just for me to eat none of it and order a salad, and then him ranting about the latest political misdemeanor. He cared a lot about politics and justice. But when it reached the point that it took up every inch of our relationship, it became too much.
I was far happier now. And, clearly, Eddie wasn’t doing too bad for himself, either. What, with saving the world from imminent destruction and all that.
People were clapping and cheering as the fire was subdued. Venom, having done his part, removed himself from the wreckage. It was odd to witness the transformation from a bulky slime monster to a far more petite young man styling a dad bod. He met the news reporters sheepishly, and despite working in journalism, he was clearly uncomfortable.
He shoved through the crowd of microphones the best he could, maneuvering his way through. People were being led from the wrecked building, although the majority of the hospital was still perfectly alright for the time being. The panic was no less subdued, though.
I rounded the car to the driver’s seat while Tate was answering texts on her phone. The donuts inside the car were greatly melted in the box without a doubt. Just as I was opening the car door, someone smashed into me, muttering a manic apology.
I turned to meet the person, only to recognize that it was Eddie, sweating like a pig. His eyes widened in realization, and I immediately assumed he was just trying escape the chaos like we were. Tate looked up fro her phone, also caught off guard.
“Oh - hey, Y/n, great to see ya. Um, I was just squeezing by, sorry —“
“Hey, you’re Eddie, right?” I groaned internally as Tate greeted him politely.Of course she would. She was just a friendly person. “It’s really cool what you did there.”
Eddie froze in place, eyes widening. He scratched the back of his neck, exchanging glances between the pair. “Ah, just a day’s work. Y - you’re the fiancé, right? A nurse?”
“E.R. surgeon!” Tate exclaimed, puffing out her chest. “You know, you look pretty tired out. We were just heading out to our favorite steak shop. Just for saving some of the patients, if you’re interested, you can tag along.”
A charismatic - but still dreadfully awkward - grin tugged Eddie’s lips. He glanced unsurely at me, who had been silent for the entire encounter. He pursed his lips. “I mean, only if I’m not intruding on a date. I mean, I am pretty hungry since I’m feeding for two, but…”
“You’re pregnant now, too?” I quipped, trying to be as not -asshole-y as possible.
Eddie laughed, although it sounded morphed, as though it were two voices at once. “Nice one.”
“Join us, Ed! Nothing wrong with some extra company.”
Eddie prodded,” Y/n?”
“Uh, yeah. I guess it’s fine if you tag along.”
And so, it was decided. Eddie hopped into the back of the car and we were off. The restaurant was emptier than usual, probably because it was a working late afternoon. We got our usual booth, and it was odd being accompanied by my ex, who sat across from the both of us.
He looked so foreign. And from how he was looking at the menu, he thought it was all foreign here, too. It made me wonder if he’d had steak before, but I didn’t bring it up. Tate was too busy carrying the conversation. She treated Eddie like a celebrity, and it made me want to do the same.
“…Have you ever eaten here before? It’s our favorite. The service is impeccable.”
Eddie grinned, clearly still on edge. “No, uh, I’ve never really eaten at one of these fancy restaurants. I’m sure Y/n can tell ya all about it, but the local pizza joint is more my style. The one time I set up a reservation for one of these places, my date bailed.”
“Hard to believe with all the fame you’ve acquired,” Tate gasped, setting her fork down on her empty place.
Eddie scratched the back of his neck, also done with his food. Apparently, the superhero profession didn’t pay well, because he only ordered a salad. I was about done, taking my final bite. I was grateful that my existence was obsolete, except for the occasional glances Eddie would send my way.
He insisted,” Well, uh, that was before Venom showed up.”
“Does the alien speak?”
Tate’s question was immediately answered as black ink flew from the shirt, forming the floating head. He was grinning, yellow eye gleaming. Tate covered her mouth in awe, but I was more so terrified. The ‘alien,’ as Tate put it, was rather unpredictable.
“Alien,” Venom huffed. “I prefer the term ‘symbiote,’ thank you very much. And yes, I can speak.”
“O - oh!” Tate squeaked. “I’m sorry —“
“You should be —“
“Venom, down boy,” Eddie groaned. “You’re literally from another planet. By textbook definition, you’re an alien —“
“No, Eddie. I’m just an extension of you now —“
They bickered, both overpowering one another. That is, until Eddie swatted at the beast. Both went quiet, realizing that we were staring at them. Perhaps Venom was just the devil on Eddie’s shoulder. Not an extension of his wants and desires.
The monster itself was terrifying, but at least that meant Eddie was fairly harmless. Eddie grinned awkwardly, and Venom just laughed lowly in amusement. He peered around the restaurant, spotting the many phones glued to them.
“I - I guess we’re finished here,” Tate tittered,” but let me cover the bill. Uh, actually, our wedding is next week. If you’re interested, you can come.”
I could tell from the look in Eddie’s eyes that nothing pained him more to hear. I was also just as shocked by her decision, but as I looked at the floating head, I realized - regardless of the fact that he was my ex - it would be pretty cool to have the first historic alien wedding guest.
Eddie and Venom turned to stare at each other before meeting her gaze again. For the first time, I saw Venom’s grin falter, and anxiety coursed through my veins. And then, Eddie nodded, forcing a grin.
“Uh, yeah. Sure. Give me the time and place and we’ll be there.”
~~~
I sucked in a breath as I readjusted my suit in the mirror. The moment I walked out, all eyes would be on me. I’d have to greet guests with my extra time, but all my thoughts turned to Tate. How beautiful she would look while gliding down the aisle in a dress I had yet to see. The music would swell, heat would rise to my cheeks, and I would be too enamored with her to care about what the priest was saying.
I huffed one last time before exiting the changing room into the main church area. I walked onto the pew, quickly greeting my closest friends that would stand beside me while taking my vows. I saw my family, already teary-eyed and emotional, waving to me. I saw my future wife’s friends and family, too, just as happy that she settled down with someone they approved of.
Everything was perfect. And, as I scanned the cloud, Eddie Brock was nowhere in sight. He’d flaked, just as I hoped he would’ve. He had a habit of doing so in the past, and clearly, that hadn’t rubbed off.
I refused to let my thoughts turn to him, though. Instead, I beamed, situating myself up front. I was about to say hi to my family, but all at once, the organist started playing. I stood stock straight, facing the aisle. A gentle smile tugged at my lips as I clasped my hands together.
And then, loudly, I heard footsteps thudding down the corridor. Some gaps rang out and I furrowed my brows in sheer confusion. I thought that maybe Tate was just that excited. But I was quick to realize that the person who rounded the corner was the person who I didn’t want at my wedding. Eddie Brock, dolled up in a suit, dashed in and froze on the spot in the doorway.
Horror dawned his expression. There wasn’t a trace of joy in his eyes. He held up his hands as people glared, side-stepping to one of the empty seats. “Sorry! Sorry.”
I decided it was best to ignore it. My eyes flitted back to the entrance. The music swelled, just as I anticipated. And then, Tate rounded the corner. She adorned a large gown and a veil that hit the floor. Her father was beside her, beaming with joy. My heart melted at the sight and Eddie Brock was all but on my mind.
She made her way to the pew, stepping up. She tripped ever so slightly, causing a ripple of chuckles to escape the guests, me included. Her father bid her a good-bye, and just like that, she was standing before me. We gripped each other’s hands tightly, and I swore I could get lost in her gorgeous eyes.
“Family and friends, we are gathered here today…” the priest began, but his voice was muffled.
I was far too taken by the woman in front of me to care about the priest. I’d memorizes the whole ‘in sickness and in health’ thing. And I hadn’t even come up with a speech. Tate and I rolled differently. She was the planner and I was the one who just went with my gut. And right now, with how deeply my heart exploded for her, I knew I’d have no difficulty expressing my feelings.
“…Y/n L/n, do you take this woman to be your wife?”
I did a dramatic pause for but a second. I was melting before her. She looked so perfect. She was perfect. My mouth opened, and the answer I was to give was unquestionable. Tate was the one, through all that sickness and health, that I wanted to be with.
So, I answered,” I do.”
The priest was about to continue. But then, all of a sudden, gasps tore from the audience. Tate and I, spooked from our trance, peered over. Suddenly, a shout sounded form the back, and dread consumed me.
“Fuck! Venom, don’t!”
My blood ran cold and I grabbed Tate’s hand even tighter. I was about to shout for people to run, but I was too stunned on the spot. There was an explosion of morphing black ink as the seats and guests were thrown back. And, in the wake, was the large, towering alien. There was no Eddie peeking through whatsoever, and the beast stood at least seven feet tall.
It was far more terrifying now that Venom unleashed himself in my own damn wedding.
“Run!” a voice through the crowd broke out. All panic broke loose, and Tate and I had to but exchange glances for her to allow me to start ushering her to the emergency exit in the back. Venom’s low cackle echoed as people made a mad dash to collect their things and run.
The monster suddenly leapt from the chairs. He shot from the ground to the large, ornate chandelier above. It swung violently as Venom’s eyes scanned the crowd. I felt his yellow-slit eyes glued to my form as I pulled Tate with me. She was restrained because of her dress, and a screech escaped her lips.
When I glanced over my shoulder, I realized that the alien didn’t have the seemingly innate grin stretched across his face. It was replan with a toothy frown, and there was something - pun intended - venomous in his gaze. For the first time, I was beginning to wonder if I would meet an untimely demise.
The monster roared and leapt from the chandelier. As he did so, it collapsed completely, crashing into the aisle. It had crushed at least four people, and nothing was more terrifying than to think we were next. Venom hit the ground, but a few feet away, reaching out his arm to swipe at us.
We made it to the door just in time, swinging it open. Chills ran down my spine as the monster bellowed,” Come back, Y/n.”
The ink barely reached the door, but I tugged it shut anyways. Tate was panting, tears sliding down her cheeks. I was too fueled by adrenaline and urgency to be thinking about it all. The only thing I knew was to take my wife and run.
I grabbed her wrist, pulling her so that we could go around the building. The parking lot was a hundred yards away, and it seemed even farther because of the state of emergency we were in. Some of the guests had made it out, but they were still screaming at the top of their lungs. The wedding was in a countryside chapel, and although the scenery was beautiful, nobody was around to help.
Suddenly, a crash sounded from behind us. Tate squealed, tripping over the skirt of her dress, but didn’t fall. We both looked back, not stopping or slowing even slightly. Dust rose from the side of the building and the entire wall had been burst. And, from the destroyed wall, emerged Venom.
And then, as his head turned to search for us, he spotted us. And the frown seemingly vanished, being replaced with something that could only be described as sadistic.
And, now even a moment later, he bounded toward us. His speed, inhuman. His strength, startling. My shoes clacked across the pavement as we arrived at our car. I’d kept it in my suit pocket, struggling to fish it out and press the button. Sweat rolled down my forehead.
From the passenger side, Tate was sobbing her heart out. The car suddenly beeped, and she threw herself inside. I swung the door open, just as Venom came to a screeching halt on the pavement. I was wary as he leapt over the car, seemingly out of sight. People were still screaming in terror, and as I shoved the key in the ignition, I was on the verge of becoming one of those people.
“I’m so sorry, Y/n!” Tate sobbed into her hands, her words hardly comprehensible. “I - if I hadn’t —“
“It’s not your fault,” I panted having the engine start up. But, just as I was about to move the clutch out of park, I was deafened by the high-pitched screech of metal. One hand cupped ear and I peered up. I realized, though, that Venom was peeling back the roof of the car with ease. It curled in its wake, only to reveal the large alien. He left footprints in our car just from standing above it, and he was grinning down at us.
“Y/n, drive!” she shrieked at the top of her lungs.
I hit the reverse. The aliens clearly caught off guard, sliding off. One bulky hand remained, though, grasping onto the metal side. I then freaked, causing him to crash into the side, letting out a grunt of annoyance. I hit the acceleration, but it was clearly all that managed to stun him, because horrifyingly, he pulled himself up.
I hit the breaks again. And yet, that didn’t stop him. Instead, his bulking form towered over the hole. With a grin, he reached in. A scream finally escaped as his hand tore off the seatbelt and captured me in his hold. Tate undid her’s and threw open the door, rolling into the street.
I whimpered, trying to shrink as much as possible. The alien held me up to his face, and I was only two-thirds of his height. He looked me over cautiously, and his eyes narrowed further.
“Now that wasn’t very nice.”
Tate rose to her feet, and Venom’s attention returned to the woman. I struggled, even as more black sludge drifted over my body to trap me further. His slime suddenly shot to from his hand, grabbing Tate. I gasped, releasing undecipherable begs and pleas. However, they fell on deaf ears.
As though she were a sling-shot, the woman was lifted from the ground. She was screaming at the top of her lungs, but it all went silent as Venom tossed her into the air at high speed, only to bring her back to the pavement.
Her body splattered Exploded. I was stunned from the sight, and yet, I couldn’t look away. Tate had been murdered in seconds. The bones fo the corpse were hardly intact, and I wanted to throw up. Just a moment ago, the love of my life had been alive and breathing.
The monster was panting furiously. “Hungry…” he muttered under his breath, before turning his attention to me. “You know, Eddie speaks often about the importance of justice. And I think that was justice.”
“H - how… could you?” I croaked, not able to lit my gas or prevent the stream of hot tears from escaping. “What is wrong with you?”
Venom chuckled, bringing me closer. I had no choice but to stare into the glowing, yellow orbs that struck me with fear. His tongue swiping over his top row of fangs, taking in my terror. He was enjoying every second of it. And, I couldn’t help but wonder, if Eddie had some sort of say in this.
“Says the one that so recklessly tossed Eddie to the curb,” he hummed. “Bit it’s alright. Eddie will be pleased. And I certainly am…”
“Just kill me!”
“Now why would I do that? You’re meant to be with us. It was supposed to be us standing at that alter. And it will be in the future now that we have you for good. There’s no escaping, Y/n. So… don’t even try.”

I have not been able to stop thinking about Eddie and venom. Like let’s say you and Eddie were just friends before he got venom and maybe he had a bit of a small crush on you or something and then all of the sudden once he got venom you’re now confined to his appartement. He literally will not let you out of his sight. You have to shower? Eddie and venom will be there. At first just watching. Until Eddie literally cannot possibly control venom any longer. He just has to touch you. Something about venom and Eddie just trying to be really gentle and loving while stroking your hair or touching you in any possible heat while you are just terrified and sobbing.
“Just unlock the fucking door and let me go!” You hiss out, tears of fear filling up your eyes as Eddie just stands there. He looks like he’s fighting something, as if he’s about to vomit and then attack you full force, but all that happens is him telling you a very gravely “No”.
It sounded like two voices speaking, chills spiked down your spine seeing the struggle on the mans face at just a simple syllable. “Eddie please!” You cry out “You’re scaring me!”.
Before you could scream again, a black mass shoots forward and wraps around you, pulling you down and dragging you across the floor until you were back in front of the man, who’s eyes were apologetic as they met your own.
“We have to protect you. Provide for you. You aren’t safe out there, and keeping you here is the best option” Eddie spoke softly, watching as the slimy substance just caressed your face and seemed to vibrate in response. You were having a panic attack, everything felt like too much- This can’t be happening!
“Hush, hush” a deep voice cooed, causing your heart to stop in your throat. The substance writhed until a face appeared, grinning at you as it continues to rub and slide all over you “You have nothing to be scared of. I only eat bad guys, and you look more appetizing as a mate than as a meal”.
Eddie was scolding the alien creature, but it was all buzzed out and blending into the static as you tried to soak in the situation. Your brain couldn’t handle it, a talking slime-bath that wanted you as a mate, and Eddie was just going along with it?!
You faint, it couldn’t be helped. You slump back, into the firm grip of the creature who was placing the blame on Eddie for being too scary about the whole thing. “My fault?! YOU’RE THE ONE WHO’S AN ALIEN HERE!”
“Seems like a fine excuse to me. You’re the one who couldn’t just admit we wanted them as our own and now the consequences are ten times worse!”
“Oh bite me you asshole”
“I would, but that wouldn’t be beneficial for the three of us. However, just know, your liver still looks really delicious”
Eddie just throws his arms up and sighs, knowing the two didn’t really have any ill feelings towards the other. “C’mon we need to get them in bed, make sure they’re ok. We’ll discuss this after making sure they’re alive and not about to have a heart attack”.
Venom just purred happily and nodded, beginning to carry you to the bedroom. “Perhaps we can discuss the nest I mentioned. It seems we three will be sharing the main room anyway”

Quick Yandere Venom thingy
A/N I’m sorry about rarely posting there is a lot of shit going on in my family and its just really affecting me.
They slowly fell in love with your sweet smiles and genuine concern over their wellbeing (Well, Eddies mostly. You still had no idea of his connection to Venom) It didn’t take long before Venom began to question why Eddie seemed so protective over you compared to the other women in his life, leaving Eddie to explain the concept of human attraction to him. After learning about this fact Venom had connected what he felt towards you and urged Eddie to do something about it.
It wasn’t long before dark thoughts began to manifest in their mind, day dreams of taking you away, the strong urge to get rid of that co-worker who wouldn’t stop bothering you, to keep you close and protected from harms way no matter the cost. Venom had encouraged these thoughts and filled Eddies mind with all the bad things that could happen to you. What if you had gotten mugged on the way to work? Your house broken into during the night? What if you had even gotten killed?
These thoughts had driven Eddie to agree with him, they needed to keep you safe. The two began their planning to save you from these possible scenarios, if it meant keeping you confined to their home for a while than it's worth it. Besides, they are the good guys, it was their duty to protect the person they love.

Since you are in a venom mood, what type of yandere would venom be compared to Eddie? How did they “fall” for their s/o? Also some NSFW headcanons would be interesting?
Tumblr media
Venom
● When they first met you, you were just a passerby when they tried to save you from a car flying towards you.
● Jumping out in front of you, they crushed the car and looked over to you with scary eyes. You screamed as they covered your mouth and turned their head, “You’re a pretty one…” Venom spoke up, “Can we take her Eddie? Is that… good?” “Let me see her…” Eddie said. Allowing Eddie to take control, he disappeared into his chest.
● Walking up to you, he smiled sweetly at your terrified face. Putting his hand up to your face, he turned his head and hummed to himself, “I say yes, my love.”
● Compared to Eddie, he’s a lot rougher with you, not knowing the exact limit of humans just yet. He’s still learning so when it comes to punishment, he’s normally the one to draw blood.
● Almost likes punishing you, to the point of where he waits for you to make a mistake, just waiting for you to slip up so he can jump on you and take over you.
● Likes to get inside your brain and talk to you, “I could just eat you if you don’t behave.” “Your Liver looks tasty, maybe you should feed me before I feed on you.”
● Doesn’t like to see you out of restraints, sometimes to the point of where, if he’s in you at the time, he’ll push you up to the wall and make you stay there for hours without end.
● Likes to threaten you with his teeth, “I could bite your neck open right now, making you bleed for me.”
● Likes the words, “For me.” “Bleed for me.” “Cum for me.” “Beg for me.”
● Gets jealous over you and Eddie’s relationship. Likes to pop in on conversations and talk for Eddie.
● Sometimes he likes to take over Eddie and fuck you for him whenever Eddie’s in the mood. He gets so horny but doesn’t feel like bothering you, so Venom bothers you for him.
● Prefers you with little to no clothes, so that way you’re too embarrassed to leave.

Can i have some general yandere venoom hc please?
General Yandere Venom
Tumblr media
Eddie can be pretty obsessive on his own, but with Venom’s added indiscretion, he’s even worst. Venom just helps fuel all of Eddie’s dark thoughts and behavior. Having a second voice agree with his own thoughts really pushes Eddie to actually go through with his actions.
You probably met Eddie while at work or something. Maybe you’re a cashier clerk at the local convenience store. You’d occasionally see Eddie come in every so often and get whatever, striking up an acquaintanceship, but otherwise not thinking too much of him.
But Eddie thought a lot about you and your conversations together, he cherished those the most. Being an investigative reporter kept Eddie out and about a lot, so he’d only see you when he really needed something from the store or whatever. It was his only excuse to see you.
Once Venom comes into the picture though, Eddie is in the convenience store constantly. When venom first integrates himself with Eddie, he doesn’t understand the already preexisting thoughts of you, like why Eddie thinks your hair looks better one way than the other, or why he thinks you smell good, especially if Eddie doesn’t plan on eating you. Venom is just perplexed by the whole thing.
When Venom does finally meet you in person, while looking through Eddie’s eyes, does he then understand why his host is so taken with you. You’re their “mate,” as Venom likes to affectionately refer to you as. So it’s no surprise Venom grows increasingly attached to you as well.
With the added “feelings” that Venom himself as acquired for you, Eddie is feeling everything tenfold. His thoughts and behavior before, were bearable, he could push them aside or hide them a hell of a lot better. Being able to understand that it was wrong for him to be as invested as he was with you, but with Venom around, he can’t push any thought of you away. Venom won’t let him.
Venom will hassle Eddie to go to the store so he can see you, so THEY can see you. Eddie before, could be pretty rational in his worries about you, but now with Venom, all rationality is thrown out the window.
Eddie wants to start a normal, healthy, and willing relationship with you, but Venom wants to just take you now. And Venom usually gets what he wants, one way or another.
