# Resident Evil - Yandere Chris Redfield (PROFILE)

Type of Yandere: Chris is someone who cares a whole lot about those he loves while pretending that that side of him doesn’t exist. He’ll show he cares for you in every way but verbally at first, but in moments where you two are intimate he’s not against confessing just how much he loves everything about you. And Chris also happens to be overly stubborn once he’s set in his ways, and that in turn will make it difficult to try and reason with the man when he’s decided over something. Control, a position he’s been given since he could remember, and one he’ll hold over you whenever possible. Wearing something he doesn’t like? He’ll all but demand you take it off and change out of it. And if you refuse? Then he isn’t against using other means to get his way. He’s never physical, not unless you want him to be. He’s a man of discipline and understands the importance of boundaries. No, he’ll tap into a side of him that was trained to be a negotiator. Or in simpler terms, he’ll manipulate his darling when they do or say something he disapproves of. Sometimes he’ll even do this without realizing it. Chris has an overwhelmingly dominant air to him that calls for attention and he’s well aware of it. 

Love Language: Chris can’t help but want to do everything for his darling, not wanting them to lift a single finger if it could be helped. He’ll treat you like royalty because in his eyes you deserve nothing but the best. He’s very big on touch and will often than not seek out your presence and find an excuse to put his hands on you. “Your shoulders look tense, allow me?” And without waiting for your permission will start massaging your shoulders with the skills of a certified masseuse. He’ll then playfully scold you for exerting yourself, explaining to you why it’s important to rest. “If you don’t keep taking care of yourself then I have no choice but to do it for you.”

Their Biggest Fear: Chris has seen a lot of shit, like shit people never come back from. But when he’s with his darling then it’s as if none of the traumatic events he’s experienced happened in the first place. He’ll often think to himself, “What’ll I ever do without you?” Because in his eyes a life without you isn’t one worth living. And that thought process alone is terrifying to Chris. He’s experienced what it’s like to lose people dear to him, but imagining his darling being the person he loses? Not a chance.

Kidnapping: If his darling ever tried to leave him then he’d definitely panic and jump to the worst conclusions about why you’d ever want to leave him. Those conclusions would then escalate into Chris convincing himself that someone is manipulating you and causing you to have these ‘intrusive’ thoughts. So what better way to keep his darling safe than to keep them at home – a sanctuary he’s created to be in your liking. He’s sure that with time his darling will come to understand why he needs to keep them home and the types of danger that lurks outside waiting to take them away from him.

How Easy is it to Escape?: Near impossible. Chris is an incredibly talented man with all the training a soldier could possibly need to bring an entire government to its knees. There will be locks on every door, safes containing possible escape tools, and even people Chris could rely on to have his back no matter the circumstances. Just hope that things don’t ever escalate that badly.

Punishments (SLIGHT NSFW BUT NOTHING GRAPHIC): “You just can’t help yourself, can you?” After one too many instances of his darling going against his direct orders – house rules, as he prefers to call them – he’ll see no other choice but to teach you the importance of listening to him through more intimate means. Your hands can sometimes end up cuffed to the bedpost, lovebites littering your skin as if you’d just been splashed with paint, and tears running down your face as you squirm and whine for his forgiveness through half-lidded eyes. “Oh I’ve already forgiven you, it’s about proving a point.” And he doesn’t stop until he’s done just that.

Difference to Other Yanderes: Despite how intimidating Chris can get, on the inside he’s a giant sap that often gets compared to a teddy bear more than the fierce grizzly bear the stuffed animal is based off of. He has a lot of powerful connections which also means he’ll be able to provide more than most partners. Ever been to the Grand Canyon? Sure, why not head there first thing Monday? And then right after that how about a trip to the Himalayas for the sake of going there? He’s so used to using these connections for the sake of humanity so it’s a nice change of pace to use them to prevent non-world ending threats from coming into fruition.

Rules for requests

I have very few rules for requesting, but I'm usually strict on them. I need the character you want, the pronouns you want used for the reader insert, and if you want the relationship to be platonic or romantic. I'll list out a few 'do's and 'Don't's when it comes to the material I will write, but besides that the only real set rules when it comes to requests are listed above. If you want a specific storyline, then please give a basic description of what you want, and if you don't have anything in mind, that's perfectly fine too!

'Do's & "Don't"s

DO NOT send a request that is romantizing illegal relationships or actions. 'Yandere' fics are in a grey area, and if I feel uncomfortable writing what you've requested, I will either ignore your request or change things and leave a small note at the start.

DO NOT send me any requests for romantic relationships with canonical aroace or aromantic characters (Lilith Clawthorne, Saiki, Mina Ashido, etc.)

DO send me requests with dark themes. I love writing tragic stories, and as long as it's not romantizing those dark themes, I will very likely write them.

DO NOT send me requests about SA. I may write comfort fics for those who went through SA, but I will not write any details about the actual SA. I've seen people writing vividly about r^pe, and it grosses me out.

DO NOT spam me if I do not do your request or take a while to do it. I have a life outside of writing, and even if it's a passion of mine, it's not my main focus. I have every right to ignore a request if it makes me uncomfortable.

DO send me requests with Polyamous and queer relationships. I love writing poly relationships and don't see enough stuff on here with them.

Yandere Chris and Claire Redfield Headcanons (platonic)

The Redfield siblings stick together no matter what. Even separated, they’re sole goal is to find one another and be reunited. Family is what matters most, especially when it comes to surviving zombies.

Claire is the one who probably becomes obsessed with you first. She came across you while she was looking for her brother and she just couldn’t leave you on your own. The two of you were safer together in her eyes. She’s not going to let you out of her sight, she’ll have you glued to her side from now on.

At first you don’t question her taking you with her, if anything you appreciate it. It’s hard enough surviving on your own but now you have someone to have your back and keep you company. You’re thankful for Claire in the beginning but soon or later that won’t last long.

It’s no surprise that Claire is protective, you’re protective of her too, you have to be in your guy’s current situation but Claire seems to have taken it to a whole other level. She doesn’t trust anyone, not even Leon. At least not with you.

She believes she’s the only one who knows what’s good for you. And at one point she believed she was the only one who could protect you, at least until the two of you found Chris. But the cruel reality comes crashing down on her when you inevitably get hurt, on her watch. Luckily, Leon was there to help out.

Leon would become one of the few people Claire trusts after that, especially with you. After her brother of course. When Claire can’t chance taking you with her, she’ll leave you with Leon. He becomes a companion for you and another set of eyes for her.

As for Chris, when he and Claire are finally reunited you are all she can talk about. When Chris meets you he can understand why. It doesn’t take him long to follow suit with his own obsession. If you’re Claire’s family then you’re his family too.

If you thought Claire was overprotective then you haven’t seen anything yet with Chris. He is extremely overprotective. Not as much towards Claire, he knows she can handle herself pretty well. But you, he’s not taking any chances with you.

Claire isn’t the only one with a second body to protect and look out for you. Chris trusts Jill wholeheartedly and vice versa, she has no qualms about helping him out when it comes to his family. Chris doesn’t necessarily trust Leon himself but if Claire does then he can get by with that. But Jill will always be his first choice for when neither Chris or Claire can’t be with you.

Chris really likes to make you laugh or at least get a smile out of you. He can’t stand seeing you look so hopeless or sad and he’ll do his damnedest to give you even a little bit of hope to hang on to.

God forbid anyone tried to hurt you or use you against either of the Redfield siblings, especially Albert Wesker. Everyone is already gunning for him, having him try and pull something like that would only take everyone to a whole new level of wanting his head on a silver platter.

Claire usually handles punishments. Chris, more times than not, can be swindled out of any kind of punishment or consequence. He doesn’t want to be the bad guy, neither does Claire but they also want you to realize that you need them. With how the world is after the virus, you can only trust and rely on each other but you insist on going against that.

You’re only ever really punished for trying to getaway from them or Jill and Leon. No one is ever extremely physical when it comes to punishments, the most they do is try and restrain you. Also, Jill and Leon are given permission to act out any punishments they see fit but they are given limits to what they can do.

The farthest I could see either Claire or Chris going is purposely putting you in a dangerous situation only for them to save you. They’d make damn sure there is no way you’ll actually get hurt or anything, they just want to scare you into finally realizing how much you truly need them.

Even with time and your obedience, Chris and Claire’s tendencies won’t ever truly let up. They could lessen to an extent but never to a point of you having your own free will. You’re their family and they know what’s best for you, that’ll never change. In the end it’s best to bare with it. They mean well even if they can be pretty selfish with how they go about certain things.

- You took a trip to japan for a vacation with friends. -  rent a little house near Kyoto Fox shrine. - When you guys make it into the house you saw some kits and foxes by the door way of the house. - they run around you and all your friends call you fox deity/fox whisper - you smile and pet the small kit and you can tell it’s a vixen kit and  gave her the name sherry. -Sherry love you and start to follow you into the small house.  - you giggle seeing her following you. you start to unpack your luggage in your room where sherry sleeping on your bed. - Later after your small adventure around Kyoto, you and your friends sleep night away. - Sherry hears 3 male voices coming from the backyard calling her name. - sherry hop off the bed, head towards the backyard and 3 males foxes - Sherry said  “Leon! Chris! Piers!” She wag her tail with joy seeing them.  - Leon transform into his human form, help sherry out of the house. - Leon pick the young kit and hug her near him.  - Chris the older and leader of the kitsune , So he ask the young  kit what was she doing in that house and warn her about danger of humans. - Sherry explain to Chris that she was playing with you and they say could smell a motherly sense to them.   - Leon still told her not to play with them anymore. - Sherry got upset and jump off Leon’s grip and start running back into the house. - both Chris and piers chase after her.  - Chris track sherry smell to your room. - Chris transform into a human and quietly open your door. he call her name in a whisper tone. - Piers told Chris that he can hear her sniffling by you.  - they are both surprise by smell of you, they recognize that smell. Its smell of a kit imprint the mother. So Sherry was right about you have smell of a mother but also have a young unmark mate smell on you. - to them humans are rare to be mated by a kitsune and have a family of their own. -both of them gently stroke your head and felt spark of love coming from you. - your having wonderful dream about males and feeling of two kitsune hands petting you and whisper sweet nothing to you.  you mumble in your sleep. - both Chris and Piers found sherry sleeping on your chest  so Chris gently pick her up and left the house without the others humans in the house notices them. - Later that morning, you were looking for sherry but you  discover two adult male foxes by the backyard . - you said “Well what  bunch of handsome foxes I  get to see this morning.” - the fox that is older and leader bow down to you has a greeting then young adult fox did the same has well. - you smile and do same greeting to them both.  - you think of a name for these foxes so your guess there name would be Chris for the older one and younger adult fox piers. - mentally both scream and both males surprise you know their name!!! - both foxes want to lure you to their courting field, they trick you by having a game of chase. - you follow them both into there location. you saw beautiful flowers and couple foxes. - what you didn't notices is the both of the kitsune transform into human form and cough to get  your attention. - you turn around and yelp in surprise to see well handsome men in kimonos and have fox ears and tails     - you were speechless and nothing to say. - Piers was 1st one to come close to you and gently take your left hand while Chris did the same to your right.  - Chris said “ My name is Chris. I am leader of the fox shrine and we love you and wish to marry you.” - Piers said “ Has was Chris was saying we want you to be our bride and raise our future kits.” - you told them that you flatter by that but your not ready for any of that . - while explaining your name and the reason why your here. both men felt upset but bit  possessive that their mate said no to them.  - Chris said “you don't say no to us Mate! we are your alphas and you do what we say.” has he squeeze your right hand hard. - you were getting scared and pull out of there grasp and start running home.  - both kitsune men start chasing you telling you how naughty you are and your getting a punishments when you go to your share den with them. - you kept running and you finally make it to the house you lock everything up and ran to your room. - your friends got worry and knock on to your door of your room asking is everything alright. - you told them your fine and they left to do there own things. - last couple days of your vacation, you didn't see sherry or  the boys. you got worry about sherry so you went back to the  backyard and start going to the field where you see a familiar kit. - you said “ Sherry! I miss you so much.” you hug her and she smile nuzzle you like a loving child to her mother.  - Sherry told you about how both Chris and piers got ill and stay by the shrine. she want to visit them but need an adult to go with her.  - you offer her to take her there and She yip with joy.  - so you went back home to pack some healing herbs, water, snack, and extra clothing in your backpack. - took long trip to shrine but you guys made it and sherry took the lead found the worshiping room. you guys saw the male foxes resting. -Sherry ran towards two males and said “ Chris and piers we are here to save you!” the young kit shout with joy. - you went up to male foxes and you felt guilty and both of them nuzzle your hand has sorry for what they did. -Chris said in a sickly tone “ our bride, our mate, we are sorry for week early event of meeting you. it just that if you say no to us and its one side love we could die.” -you really felt bad and thought about past days that you do love them both.  - you sat on the mat of shrine and both male rested on your lap. you told them you brought medications  and healing herbs. - they both laughs with joy that their bride finally care for them and start to love them both. - past week they both recovery and try to court you again but this time you finally accept it and you became a bride to two kitsune. - you told your friends your staying in japan and don't worry about you. so they didn't question it and they  said good luck and have a wonderful life. - many years later you had a full litter of kits with your two mate kitsune.

Oh, big bear Redfield.

No matter how you came across him, it ended up the same way. Whether you work under him or are just a civilian who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, he'd notice you and that'd be enough to get the ball rolling behind the scenes.

It would start pretty slow at first, the smaller things would get to him.

Noticing you above everyone else he's with, your behaviour and the way you conduct yourself, etc.

It causes him to frequently check up on you, even pulling you aside from wherever you are and whoever else you're with just to make sure you're ok.

In the beginning your reassurance helped, unfortunately this didn't last for long. No matter what was going on his thought process manages to zip back to "how are they feeling? Are they ok? Is there anything wrong?!?"

When it comes to you he lives by the "anything can happen in a second, imagine what could take place in a minute" principle.

After long enough (which is not nearly long enough) he begins to believe that he knows you better than anyone does,

And in a way, he's kind of right

To the point where he's observed your mannerisms enough to instantly pick up when you're uncomfortable. He'll almost always intervene, unless it's him making you feel uncomfortable. In which case, tough luck sweetheart.

Caring for you brings him a feeling like no other, it also rewards him with a reprieve from the crippling anxiety of the unknown. Why would he let you face the horrors of the world alone, if it all? Stand behind him, please and thank you.

He's aware it could be perceived as too much, but it makes him feel strong. He brushes it off as "doing the right thing" initially, but it only gets more severe.

Whether you think of him as a stranger, coworker, your best friend, a brother, or even a dad it doesn't matter because no matter what he's large and in charge!

To him there is no worse feeling than seeing you hurt or in pain, he beats himself up about it constantly.

The mere idea you could scrape your knee has his brain buzzing in the worst way.

I'm talking pure, unfathomable rage at the table you hit your elbow on. It's not that deep, Chris.

Your happiness comes first! Well... Second. Safety comes first, but happiness is way up there. Don't frown, he's not "coddling" you, he's just doing literally everything for you all of the time. If anything you should be grateful.

Despite the fact that he's a lot less likely to get angry with you than he would be with anyone else, if you continously brush off his attempts to help you and disregard his authority advice then he'll deem you a brat.

In which case he can get quite snarky, sassy Chris incoming.

He's not mad, just dissaponted.

(except he is mad, but he's not gonna take it out on you. Time to go punch a boulder)

if you're a reckless person and go out of your way to put yourself in dangerous positions then he'll have a heart attack.

At this rate you've probably cut his life expectancy in half due to stress, it's a relief you haven't put him in cardiac arrest.

On top of that, if you joke about it by asking him where all his grey hairs are you'll be given a bone chilling death stare. So you think your wellfare is a joke?

If you get hurt it's an opportunity for him to lecture you for the hundredth time on this being WHY he's going to take the lead for you.

If you've pissed him off enough then he'll consider letting you suffer through it. It upsets him to see you untreated, but you need to know your place - he's doing this for your safety afterall. Get it through your head.

The kinda guy to go "That's my ___!" whenever you do something that he deems vaguely impressive (aka, existing)

You'll actually find yourself beaming at his praise from time to time, it's always so genuine it feels earned. (especially after you've been putting up with his shit for long enough)

If he finds out you've got any unhealthy habits expect to be put in timeout. Put that cigarette out this instant! Have you eaten today, and if yes then what? Do you take meds? If so have you had them yet? Oh you'll take them now? Ok well he's going with you to make sure, don't object. Ok now that's sorted have you had at least 3 glasses of water today?

Conversations can become borderline interrogations if you have a history of slacking on your health. He is relentless when it comes to your wellbeing, to him it's well worth the risk of being incredibly annoying. God forbid you get a cold, and then that lowers your immune system and you get-

This can also go for friends of yours he thinks are unfit to influence you. Oh, they took you out drinking and had you stay out till midnight? That's nice. You're not seeing them again.

Now, he's not a total stick in the mud. He likes to see you have fun, just in moderation. The risk is never worth the reward. If you're so desperate to go out and have some fun then he'll go with you, to safeguard of course.

It goes on and on really. Just know this man would move mountains for you. To him, there's nothing greater in life than seeing you smile and assuring your welfare.

If you prove time and time again you're not taking your own protection seriously then he'll have to take matters into his own hands. He knows you'll be happier if you just suck it up.

Alright I think you might’ve said something about this before but I cannot for the life of me find it. So, what are your thoughts on a yandere Chris Redfield? Cause I can imagine after all the loss he’s experienced he just wants to kidnap his darling, but then if he gets hurt/killed in the field what happens to them? I’d love a little scenario about how he takes and keeps his darling, or just your thoughts :) thanks

My characterization of Chris is probably as inconsistent as his design between the games lol, considering I have better knowledge of 7 and 8 more than any other. Like I watched LPs of the others but I only actually played those two but I'll give it a shot

His obsession comes from a good place. He's seen the worst of what humanity has to offer (if you can call the sick bastards behind Umbrella "human") and he wants his loved ones as far away from that as possible. Claire is his little sister, but she's also the strongest woman Chris knows and she doesn't need any kind of serum to earn that title; his Darling though, he can't trust them to stay safe.

He tries, though. He'll insist on giving them weapons training, first aid, basic hand-to-hand combat. It's something he hopes they never need to use, but he can't just leave them with no line of defense. He also has to constantly check in on them before and after missions, and even during if he has time. If you don't respond in ten minutes of him sending one of these texts, he's calling if you don't answer five minutes after that, he's immediately in "shit hit the fan" mode and is contacting whoever he can to check on you.

If you do this too many times (ie. twice lol) then he can't trust you to leave his apartment on your own. There'll be a supervisor from whatever agency he's currently working for to keep an eye on you if Claire isn't available to do it, and if he still thinks there's too much risk he'll confine you to the apartment if he isn't there to guard you.

He'll stonewall his Darling if they keep asking/insisting on having more freedom, and eventually he'll get so upset that he'll start showing them images from his latest missions to scare them. He'll tell them about the horrific things he's seen done to innocent people just like Darling, and how this is all for their sake. A little boredom and feeling stifled is far better than getting kidnapped, hurt, killed, experimented on, exposed to any pathogens currently wreaking havoc in the world.

He only lets them be around people he trusts, which is a pretty short list: Claire, Leon if he's around, and...maybe Ethan or Rose? He might not though, just because Ethan and Rose are technically biohazards. But he trusts them more than most people.

On a related note, he's very awkward around Darling's family. He doesn't have any problem with his Darling being with their family (though friends and coworkers are different; Darling needs to ask him first and he'll look them up to determine if they're an OK person to be around), but...he's really not used to positive interactions with civilians. Civilians usually get killed/injured/turned into monsters around him 🥲 Darling's family can see he really does love Darling and he can manage to warm up and be less stiff over time, but they might be a little concerned about how protective he is. That and how he's very hesitant to discuss any aspect of his work, citing it as "confidential."

I don't think he could noncon them. Making them cry, upsetting and traumatizing them for the sake of his own selfishness, that's just not a line he can cross. At most I think he'll touch them a little while they sleep but then stop if they wake up and ask him to. He'll go right up to that line, but he won't do anything more if Darling explicitly says no.

Hmm, okay so I like don't know a lot about them, but this is how I imagine them reacting.

Imagine in the teen reader plot, Ethan and you manage to escape the village, with the help of Chris of course. Once home, Mia is all over Ethan and surprisingly, you. Now, while you and Ethan were "dead", Mia realised how much she depended on you. How her life was so much easier when you were around because you handled all problems quietly. It dawns on her how she took you for granted. And not to mention how much she loves Ethan. So, the death of you both was really hard on her. But after coming back home, you start packing your bags. Sometimes in Mia snaps when you tell her that you're leaving them. How could you be so selfish? Especially after your father went through hell and back for you? Mia is furious. Dont you understand that the family will not be able to function without you? Now, Ethan tries to calm her down but Mia will not listen to him. She immediately knocks you out before chaining your foot to your bed, locking the room. Mia will become a sadistic yandere towards you, while Ethan is more of a protective yandere.

Speaking of protective yanderes, Chris is one too, except he's also more of a tsundere? Okay, so I see Chris being the first yandere among everyone. Why? Well, Chris has been keeping an eye on Winters family for a long time, so he saw how poorly your family treated you. He grew attached. So, when he saves you and Ethan, he's not surprised that you want to leave your family. In fact, he would happily take you in. But the thing is, with his line of work, he can't be there for you 24/7 without endangering your life. So, while it pains him to leave you locked up by Mia, he knows this is the best solution for now. Because if he gets you out, there is a greater risk of the Lords or some other monster coming for you. Not to mention Ethan and Mia, who just don't die. But he subtly tries to protect you from Mia.

Don't worry though, Uncle Chris is working hard to get you out of the house. It'll just take a bit of time.

Would you mind writing headcanons/a drabble whichever is easier for you of Heisenberg and Redfield going after the same darling but the darling wants to stay around Heisenberg because they feel safer around him, please?

Chris hadn't expected to find any other survivors besides Ethan (and he wasn't that optimistic about recovering Rose or Mia alive and well, I imagine). So when he discovers that there's a heat signature at the factory for someone that's not Heisenberg or a Lycan, he immediately tries to incorporate retrieving them into his original plan when entering the village.

Chris strikes me as a yandere who develops an obsession over time, but his insistence on rescuing anyone he can from the village that's left to save is pretty fucking strong. He doesn't get to save most bioweapon victims in his line of work, after all. Ethan and Rose are anomalies that are stronger than the average human, but Heisenberg's Darling doesn't have that advantage.

He'll try his best to speak softly but he's a military man through and through, so he's still very intimidating. He'll immediately check Darling for injuries and signs of abuse or infection, and his men are sweeping the room with guns drawn (and mowing down any Lycans or Soldats that have been instructed to guard Heisenberg's Darling). It's a chaotic scene and Darling is definitely not in a state of mind to really process it all.

Chris notices them hesitating and pulling away when he tries to move them out of the room, and if they refuse to go with him despite him trying to explain this is for their safety, he'll just toss them over his shoulder and/or incapacitate Darling in as painless a way as possible. He tried to be diplomatic, but he can't afford to stand around wasting time like this when he can get them to a safe location.

I think he'd also dismiss their attachment to Heisenberg as a form of Stockhold Syndrome and/or brainwashing after spending so long being isolated from anyone else.
