surely everyone's got their WebMD stories about gunshot wounds or amputations or whatever, so I can't count that as weird. For the J2 Historical Prostitutes AU (which isn't even done, oh my god, mea culpa) I have spent a l o t of time researching monetary exchange rates and what cash even means in historical fantasy France and trying to figure out how much pay-for-sex even makes sense when it's the vague ~1700s-ish. No one should do that. It's horrible. Nevertheless I actually own an academic text about prostitution in 1500s France now to try to figure it out better and you know what, you know what kills me, is that NO ONE CARES. I could be like 'oh and then Jared got a squillionty bananabucks for a handjob' and it wouldn't affect the narrative at all! At all!!!

Nevertheless. If anyone wants to know about prozzing in the Languedoc let me know.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

I love how canonically a silly girl exists within the AoT universe and I love how organic her friendship with Connie and Jean feels. They may not be childhood BFFs like EMA, but Connie and Sasha have the honor of being Jean's ADHD children to his Dad Friend and I think we should acknowledge that more.

And this might sound odd, but I do find that the writing leading up to her death was very strong.

Think about it this way, when Marco died he had only been in a few chapters/episodes and while I think his death was shocking, I will acknowledge that he left before he could become a fully-realized character.

Does this make his demise any less upsetting? No. Does he make a stronger impact as a handful of ashes in Jean's palm or a scream in Annie's nightmares? Yes. Does it kinda make sense that Yams killed him off because he didn't stand out as much as the other trainees? Yes.

And listen, there's nothing wrong with haunting the narrative.

But Sasha, however, was a character the audience grew with throughout 3 seasons/100 chapters. The death of Sasha, who we saw grow from a silly girl who munched on a potato during training to a badass who stabbed an arrow into a Titan's eye to save a girl she only just met. The character who we saw goofing off with Connie and Jean in the background, who we saw forming a genuine friendship with Mikasa over the years, the character who the audience saw as a source of levity even in the most dire times...

The death of Sasha wasn't just upsetting, it was heartbreaking.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

On the other side of the coin, I hate that she, of all characters, had to die. In a series where so many people are dropping like flies Sasha's death is the only one that makes me ask "Why did it have to be her?"

Though harping on that, I do also dislike how people use Sasha's death as an excuse to hop on the Gabi hate train, which is strange coming from someone who isn't too hot on the character. When Sasha's death happened in the manga I was too wrapped up in my own despair to hate on Gabi, but hey that's probably just me.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Only if she paid her own food bill.

13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?

Sasha would label Jean in her contacts as 🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴 and Connie as 👨🏻‍🦲👨🏻‍🦲👨🏻‍🦲👨🏻‍🦲👨🏻‍🦲👨🏻‍🦲. She also went through a phase where Jean was labelled as "Horse-Man Dan."

In terms of what emoji she'd use often in conversations she would make good use of 🏹🏹🏹 or 🔪🔪🔪 or whatever food she's craving that day.

Mamebujiru Iwate local cuisine

One of the traditional dishes of Iwate Prefecture is Mamebujiru. This is a popular local dish in Iwate Prefecture, and is a nutritious soup made with tofu and vegetables. Materials: - Tofu - Konnyaku - Root vegetables such as taro (yam) and burdock - Leafy vegetables such as spinach and garland chrysanthemums - Dashi (made from kelp or bonito flakes) - Seasonings such as soy sauce, salt, and miso - You may add other vegetables and ingredients as per your preference. breakfast (top): lazy kitsune’s tamagoyaki (sweet rolled omelet), miso soup made with instant bonito granules and red miso/nori, matcha genmaicha tea from adagio (tofu was rotten so i just ended up with broth! what a waste… tofu never sits that long in this house!)

lunch (or dinner… depends — bottom): ended up using a larger container for a bento box… simple stir-fry with garlic, onions, and sesame seed oil base, lightly seasoned with oyster sauce and pepper + the last of my white konnyaku (“yam cake”), koshihikari rice with shiso furikake and umeboshi

all topped with sesame seeds :) ✌🏻🔪

It tooks about an hour to take a small bus to the ancient city of Ayutthaya. The half-day transportation of Tuk-tuk from old uncle 🛺 was about Rm 30 per person, and the price was very fair.  But another Asian couple kept "twisting the price" with another Tuk-tuk auntie, walau wei why being very explicit about the price, it was already cheap.  Just happened to be lunch time, Tuk-tuk uncle refused to let us eat the small restaurant on the roadside, and insisted on taking us to a small guesthouse where Ang Moh (Westerners) staying here.  I clearly saw bunting with only Thai language, printed with a few images of one plate rice 🍲🥗🥘 at 30-40 baht and crushed ice only 20 baht. But,once they showed us the menus, the price became 100-150 baht (Ang Mo price) per plate 😎🔪. Seeing that the price is so "SPICY" 🌶️🌶️🌶️, we randomly ordered stir-fried minced pork and tom yam shrimp soup. It was really disappointing, the food was poor and the shrimp 🍤 was rotten😓. Next, guess what I did?  I went outside and ordered a bowl of crushed ice (because the weather was too hot), by now the boss finally found his conscience, charged 20 baht, no more Ang Moh price 😁 Anyway, I don't want to argue with the boss to spoil my travel mood. Just treat it as doing a good thing in Ayutthaya.  As a result, God gave us a very beautiful Ayutthaya trip on that day. All the tickets of Ayutthaya attractions were free😅👍, and Tuk-tuk old uncle treated as super nice, like the Chinese proverb said: if there is a loss, there must be a gain🙏🙏  😇 I am Alexander Ho, Chinese medicine physician from Sabah.
