This week marks the fifth anniversary of me becoming a writer.

Somehow, I'm still doing this—and somehow, people are still reading. Thank you all for being here through this weird ride, if you started reading from the first fic, or the latest, or somewhere in between. I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said, but the number of followers keeps going up, even when I don't put out as many fics as I used to, and I'm always striving to improve as a writer.

Random stats:

Current followers: 12,641 (this is way too many)

As of this post, I currently have 184 fics written (also way too many.) That's not including every little fic that's been part of an ask, or spontaneous as part of an image I've posted.

My mostly popular fic is Morning Mating with 1,584 notes, but Overindulgent (which was by far the fastest fic to reach 1k) is close behind with 1,579 notes, and unexpectedly Undressing Room is a contender with a satisfying 1,111 notes.

And still, I have ideas that I have yet to write, idols deserving of first time stories, and maybe some day I'll even finish up a series :copium:

Hey y’all, I just wanted to take a sec to thank y’all for your support through this. I was so worried everyone was gonna hate me or something. So knowing that people not only don’t hate me, but understand me and continue to care about me genuinely means the world. It’s very vindicating (that’s not a reference) to know that I have this little community of people who actually give a shit about me and want to see me grow and learn and become a better person as I’d like to do. That genuinely means the world to me, and I don’t think simply answering a few of the asks I’ve gotten through this would do my gratitude justice, so here we are.

I’m going to stop posting about this after the fact, since I’d like to move past this back to my regular fun and silly stuff, but I just wanted to say this now.

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for the likes and reblogs on the cover for my web comic The Cooking Object-ive. This honestly feels like a fever dream.

It’s hard to put into words how thankful I am, but let me try.

The idea for the comic started in a grocery store (I think fresh market), where I said to my sibling “I wonder if there are any chopped like object shows?” That was all the way back in may, and just to start making it was a long shot. When I made the host (Butch) and shared it with friends, I knew that this is what I would be doing. With help from anobjectshowguy I started making practice comics and posting them to wattpad and instagram, and now to tumblr.

I never expected to get this much love and support from all of you, even in my wildest dreams I assumed it wouldn’t go anywhere.

Honestly I thought I would fall through and people just wouldn’t accept me, but it’s clear now that i underestimated the tumblr osc.

Almost 70 followers here and almost 10 on the comic blog. I can’t believe it.

You all have made my dreams be visible, I can see great things on the horizon. Thank you all so much, I truly owe you the world.

I fucking love oz media so much. They've become a huge comfort YouTuber for me. I literally fall asleep to their Tumblr videos every night. I've seen most of their videos multiple times. I watched his donation stream today. The community is so amazing. I don't know how but we managed to meet their goal in 20 minutes and double it in an hour. We literally left homeslice so shocked they had a breakdown and couldn't process it for a solid hour. I know they kept saying they didn't know how to repay us, but THEY DON'T NEED TO. WE were repaying them for the influence they have had on all of us. I really hope they can continue doing what they love. They deserve a good life filled with happiness. I'm so proud of everyone.
