Anyway, back to your ask, I’m not personally aroace, but I do understand your frustration with people who read too much into things just to support whatever opinion they have. I can imagine it must even be more aggravating for you though when people keep pushing for romance to infiltrate every little thing even when it doesn’t belong or when it ruins things, so you have my utmost sympathy. Romance just isn’t always necessary, and there are many more human relationships beyond it to explore.
