kaeya is certainly one hell of a husband, that's for sure.

it’s not that he’s a bad one, he just goes about marriage in his own way. your marriage will be filled with late nights and celebrating a hard day at the bar. not that you don’t mind, though, the more time spent with your husband the better!

his teasing attitude won’t go away even when you’ve been married for quite a while. in fact, it’ll only get worse (not in a bad way, just more of it). he’s known you long enough to know what bothers you and what doesn’t. 

he’s not too cuddly, but certainly won't be opposed to it if you want it. he runs cold anyways, so it's always nice to have an extra sheet of warmth laying on top of him while the two of you sleep. it happened more often when you two were just dating, but still, it’s fun to do it anyways.

kaeya and you like to sit either on the couch inside or outside on the porch (depending on the weather) and have late night talks, sipping on a few glasses of wine. it’s always fun for the both of you to catch up on each other's days, not a single part going unsaid. whether those late night wine chats take it to the bedroom or not is up to you.

he’s a very supportive husband, and knows the right times to be serious. you crying is not a time to tease, unless you gave him permission. whether it’s crying, work related, injuries, etc, he’s going to be serious and will be super supportive in the moments you need him to be. 

he might rush you a lot on different things, whether you’re walking too slow or whatever else, it’s all just teasing, and in reality, he’s a pretty patient man.

shenhes a wife who needs a lot of guidance, but will understand what to do after a while of learning.

one thing about her; she’s never been in a relationship. considering she was raised by adeptal beasts, she didn’t really understand the concept of it before you came into play.

she saw you as a super close friend at first, and then realized the feelings of butterflies she’d feel in her stomach whenever she went near you wasn’t just being super fond of you. it was feelings, and she came to understand when you confessed to her. 

when she told you she liked you back, seeing your happy, relieved face made her chest flutter in a way she’s never felt before. and then as time went on, you two were engaged, and soon after officially married.

her favorite activity is eating out on the porch with you. whether its sitting on the steps leading up to your house with a plate or a teacup in hand or having a whole table and two chairs for a nice meal under the warm liyue sun. 

shes a very serious woman, and it doesn’t go away even when you’re married. she has her soft spot for you, but whenever you seem even the slightest bit off, she turns serious and almost bombards you with questions until you tell her. she learns later on (and quite fast, actually,) that those questions aren’t necessary, and it is up to you to tell her. 

she also kind of loves hugs. she likes the safety she feels with your arms wrapped around her midsection, your head on her shoulder or her head, depending on your height. 

when she sees you crying, at first, she might be unsure and a little panicked, considering she’s never been in such a situation before. but as time goes on, she gets more used to it, and she’s more opened to taking you in a warm embrace if that’s what will calm you down.

she pays close attention to the gestures you give to her, so whenever you’re sad, sick, etc, she’ll try to do similar things. making breakfast, brewing tea, doing housework. you might have to direct her from whatever place in your home you’re in, but it’s all worth it in the end. 

she doesn’t really mind cuddles during sleep. she might be a little stiff, but that’s normal to you considering who you’ve married. she’ll hug back occasionally, and you understand it when she doesn’t. crabby shenhe who didn’t get sleep due to too much heat on her body in the mornings is something you’d rather not deal with.

she’s also really supportive, but in a slightly different way than kaeya. she’s incredibly encouraging of you to do what you want and to follow your dreams and to not let anybody else dictate what you want to do. that’s one of her main focuses- she wants to try and ensure your success. you do thank her everyday for that.

miko is a very fun wife to have!!

one thing about her is she always tries to fit your vibe. you like to party? she’ll come with you, but she’s the one making sure you don’t leave drunk. no drinks for her, and if she decides to order one, she’ll get a small thing of red wine at the most. she’s not big on alcohol.

if you like picnics at sunset, she’ll always accompany you! because if it’s with you, it’s fun anyways, no matter what you two are doing. she always finds pleasure in being near you, no matter how long you’ve been married. it seems like you two can talk forever and ever, and it’s crazy how you never run out of conversations. 

she’s also very independent. you’ve never seen her try to rely on others, which makes it a little complicated with trying to help her through her feelings. you never push her, just like she doesn’t push you when you have your moments, but you encourage her to let you be aware of her feelings (just like she does with you).

she really likes cuddles, and is clingier than people might think. she can be rather pouty (either in a teasing way or just as a joke in general) if she doesn’t get her cuddles. you know she’s not really hurt, but it’s always funny to see her face change from a pout to a look of content in three seconds flat. 

she’s supportive, but would rather you follow a path that she believes is good for you. not in a toxic way, not in a “i dictate your life you have to do what i tell you” way, but in a sense where she’s leaning you towards the things that she knows you wont regret and the things she knows you will be successful in. she’s lived long enough to know that.

she’s not one to boast about her marriage, and would rather keep it as laid back as possible. being married is fun, and it’s always fun to be able to know that you have someone who has your back, whos always going to be there to defend you, and is always going to love you. but she doesn’t think it’s necessary to make it such a big thing, considering a lot of people have spouses. 

she’s always there for you. to dry your tears, to cheer you on, to help you when you’re stuck on a roadblock. you’re so fortunate to be married to her.

Petting their ears

 -> ft. Sucrose, Gorou, Yae, and Tighnari

Sucrose goes bright red as soon as your hands touch her ears, something like a squeak leaving her. She shies away, nervous eyes glancing around as you pat her. Give her a second to compose herself and she’ll bury herself in your chest/neck. Please please keep patting her ears, she’s oh so happy when you do, and the more it happens the more confident she grows until she ends up crawling onto your lap for more pats <3

Gorou lets out a scandalised “huh!?”, huffing and telling you that you really shouldn’t do such things to a general. His resolve crumbles as soon as he notices the puppy dog eyes from you however, and so with a sigh he brings your hand back to his ears. Please ignore how blissed out he looks and how fast his tail is wagging, lest he dissolve from embarrassment. 

Yae giggles, hand covering her mouth as she watches in amusement. Oh you like her ears? How sweet! She reaches over, hand pinching your cheek as she coos at how cute you are. If she’s sitting you can bet that she’ll pull you over to straddle her lap, appreciatively leaning into your touch with some light (or heavy, depending on how much you blush) teasing. Be warned however, she’ll be using this to her advantage in the future. 

Tighnari lets out such an exasperated sigh when he notices your hand going to his ears. Still he doesn’t pull away, instead looking at you expectantly, telling you that if you insist on doing such a thing that it better be worth his time. Don’t worry, he enjoys it very much, letting out a contented sigh and closing his eyes at the feeling. He teases as soon as you pull away, and with a look of pure mischief he goes to pat your ears. What do you mean that doesn’t work on human ears? Come now, it’s only fair!

synopsis -> you're giving miko the silent treatment. so, she simply turns into her fox form to cuddle you until you give up the act.

warnings -> light angst but the problem is resolved later, miko may be ooc idk

you could say that arguments between you and your wife, miko, weren’t incredibly common… 

so when you two do get into one, something pretty bad has to have happened, considering how calm and composed she is about every. single. thing. 

so, maybe it was a little surprising when you expressed how much you disliked her being gone so frequently to either write her newest light novel, or take care of her business at the shrine, and she started to raise her voice.

the fight went on for about an hour until she wordlessly walked out of the house and set her path towards the shrine. you just kind of stood there for a while, thinking back on how stupid the whole argument was. you felt valid for expressing your point and how you feel neglected, but you also felt that you could’ve just asked her properly and sat her down to talk to her instead of doing it right when she walks in. 

and at the same time, she acknowledged that she had overreacted way too much, and she wished she could just listen to you. 

so, to no surprise, the next day when she walked into your shared home, you were ignoring her.

you thought she was being too petty the night before, and you were probably right. you only wanted her to hear you out!

at first, it started off as you made breakfast for the two of you and then ate it in your office. it was a nice place, considering you and yae had a nice amount of mora, giving the both of you a nice place to live. so big rooms and a big house in general would be standard for the both of you.

then, you went out to inazuma city alone. normally, every saturday, you two would go out to look at the markets, considering those were the days all the sellers had their shops open and also the days they’d give the most generous sales. when you left, miko stood in the doorway, giving you a slightly puzzled look before sitting back down on the couch and reading a new light novel in her collection.

the last one was at dinnertime, where she had tried to see if you’d go out to dinner with her and the shogun. considering that they were the two most important people in inazuma, they had to have meetings every so often to keep the region in line.

you’d usually attend these, considering they were often very fun and never incredibly business related (in which the shogun claimed talks about business lulled her to sleep), and you two would always go down by the shore before heading home. you simply shook your head before moping back into your bedroom.

now, you were being the petty one, she thinks. but at least you weren’t simply ignoring her anymore, at least you were giving her some form of signal that you heard her. 

though, on the walk to the selected dinner choice between her and the shogun, she thought about the whole situation. this morning, she tried to ignore you back, considering she was equally as stubborn and petty when she wanted to be. but she was also very wise, so why couldn’t she figure out a way to get you to stop ignoring her? or, to simply stop acting the way you are now. she finds it very dumb.

she thought and thought and thought and she thought her brain might explode until she came up with a conclusion. she laughed to herself a little bit before walking into the luxurious place, where you’d only see people with as much status as the kamisato siblings seated and able to afford the bill. 

of course, the shogun picked this place out. she chose it “without realizing” that she’s got no mora, leaving the bill in the kitsunes hands.

once the meeting was over, she rushed home pretty fast, ready to spring her plan into action. it was really late at that point, nearing 11:00 pm. so when she entered your shared home, it was no surprise that she found you asleep, but this time on the couch. she sighed in a light manner before going into her fox form, trotting along to you and jumping up onto the couch to snuggle into your chest.

you woke up when you felt her tail lightly brushing against your face, making you spit hairs out of your mouth and sighing, rubbing your eyes.

“jesus, miko, okay,” you lift her up before turning her around and making her lock eyes with you. “keep this up and you're gonna stay in air jail.”

to that, she squirmed a little, making you laugh lightly before setting her on the ground for her to transform back. once she did, she sat next to you, taking your legs and setting them on her lap. 

“i’m sorry for being so aggressive last night. i thought about the argument a bit more, and i realized how petty that was,” she started, rubbing your calf up and down. “i should’ve just listened to you in the first place.”

that sentence shocked you a little bit, making her chuckle. she was never the first to admit she was wrong. 

“i’m sorry for being so stupid and ignoring you the whole day. i should’ve just tried to see if you wanted to make amends before assuming you didn’t want to see me all day.”

she nodded, patting your leg before standing and grabbing your arms to stand with her.

“lets just go to sleep. and no, you are not sleeping on the couch tonight. i refuse,” she leads you with slow steps up the stairs and into your shared room. “sorry for coming off as so intimidating all day.”

that made you slap her arm, sending the both of you into a small laughing fit. you felt so lucky that she was who you married, even though she’s the pettiest person you’ve ever met.
