Just binged the entire Tev/Dren masterpost for the umpteenth time, I fucking love it.

How would Tev react when meeting Almalexia in Tribunal? She Idolised Almalexia as a kid, and now she's suddenly greeting Tev as a long lost lover, that's gotta get some sort of reaction

You darlings! You lovely people! I adore these questions and it making me feel increasingly guilty that I haven't actually played through Tribunal yet...lmao

That said, you guys are right on the money in terms of Tev having Strong Feelings about Almalexia stuff! Of late, I've been doing some reading through the quest and quotes and such so I can at least give a rough answer--final stuff will have to come when I actually...play through the DLC (and maybe even make comics for it!), but I can at least give rough answers:

Being greeted as a long lost lover, oof lol. I think Tev would have really complicated feelings about that. A complex mix of "what!?" and "oh my god she finally noticed me"--she's obviously not romantically interested in Almalexia, so that's awkward, but also in spite of her best efforts, deep down, there's still the tiny little baby Tev of yore that can't shake the memory of years of wanting to be seen and acknowledged and adopted! Unfortunately, it's not really Tev she's seeing. And Tev already has hangups about not being recognized for herself, so there's a lot of bitterness as well.

And I think that would set a really uncomfortable tone for the whole adventure, y'know? She's already immediately put off by the fact that any hopes that she could really meet and connect with her childhood idol are, uh, pretty well dashed. So when Almalexia starts asking for increasingly shady favors...I don't know. I don't think it would sit well with Tev at all. She would start having really, really serious doubts immediately. I have a feeling her Tribunal journey is going to go pretty off book at some point, lol.

In any case, by the time there's a confrontation, I think she's just...tired, and disillusioned and so, so disappointed.

She'd probably try to joke about god killing in the end, but it would be obvious (especially to Dren) that she's just hiding the heartbreak of the whole affair.
