I’m pretty sure we only saw Gambit shirtless once in the original X-Men the Animated Series but in the first three episodes of X-Men 97 we’ve seen this man shirtless at least once per episode

I like to headcanon that there are times Rogue still does this for old time's sake. It's easy to romanticize the past, and while I think Rogue does a fair job of keeping herself (and Remy) in check when their minds start to head that way, I think she's reached a point where she can look back on some things fondly.

Plus it just stokes the fire for later.

Some comics were made adapting the story of xmen TAS, I was reading them and they changed some things like dialogues or cutting scenes

In the comic that adapts the episode "Whatever It Takes" They change what morph says to Logan before transforming into jeans

They made it even gayer

If I see one more person say X-Men '97 is set in 1997, I'm genuinely going to lose it.

The show is set in 1993. It's EXPLICITLY set one year after Charles Xavier's death and he dies in 1992. The '97 in the title refers to 1997 which was the date that X-Men TAS ended.

I AM SO UNNECESSARILY ANNOYED BY PEOPLE SAYING ITS SET IN 1997. IT'S JUST NOT.
