I turned in the book manuscript for INTERMEDIARIES, the forgotten history of the first transgender clinic 1918-1933.

It follows the story of Dora Richter, the first transgender woman to undergo complete MTF surgery (not Lili Elbe; she was third!) It’s taken me two years of blood, sweat, and tears. A lot of tears, actually.

The Nazis raided the Institute for Sexual Science; they burned the library. They banned the books that remained. They attacked, arrested, and ultimately killed trans and homosexual people along with disabled people, minority groups like the Roma people, political opponents, and 6 million Jews. (One commenter suggested 11 million people over all, and really, that estimate may still be conservative).

The news today, 2023, reads a lot like news in 1923 with the rise of hatred against LGBTQ, attacks on reproductive rights, and increasing racism and antisemitism. The Nazis rose throughout the 1920s, coming into power 1930-1933.

The world said never again; we must now be the ones to stop a slide into hatred and violence. Before it’s too late.

Okay, I'm done being subtle about this.

I keep mentioning in my tags and in a post recently that World War II was allowed to happen because Hitler started conquering Germany's neighbors.

The world didn't interfere at the time due to 1) not wanting to start another war so soon after WWI, and 2) The Great Depression was nearing its end, but still happening.

Hitler's excuse at the time was to "reunite Germany" since part of the treaty of WWI was taking all of Germany's military away and splitting the country. They brought it to its knees as much as possible. So when Germany started taking that back, when they started rebuilding their army, it was illegal to do so because of the treaty, but no one stopped them.

Things only escalated to a full-on war when Hitler invaded Poland, after being threatened not to do so by several other countries. He did it anyway.

This is what we are currently seeing in Palestine right now.

What Israel is doing is, by international law, illegal. The people who have the power to stop them are not doing so. Israel is operating under an excuse ("self-defense," and religious zionists support them because they are "taking back the Holy land and fulfilling God's promise" or whatever), and Israel is now attacking Lebanon and Yemen.

They're just going to keep going.

I've been hesitant to call Israel a Nazi state due to the sheer amount of baggage that comes with that, but there is no denying it at this point. They're neo-nazi fascists who are following in their own oppressors footsteps, spreading hatred and violence to other parts of the world while no one in power stops them. Hell, even worse, this time around, the people in power are fucking funding it.

If you think this "war" won't affect you, think again.

If you ask me, looking back on history, if we don't put a stop to this in its tracks soon, then I fear this is only the beginning.

Know your history. Stand with Palestine. Ceasefire NOW.

The United Nations is avoiding declaring it, but what Israel, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, etc are doing is already acts of war. This is WWIII no doubt. The Allies of WWII have become the Axis of WWIII. Role switch.

It sounds crazy, I know it does because I live in the U.S., but I support the idea of the Middle Eastern countries, China, Russia, Indonesia and others all joining together and declaring their support for Palestine then launching a counter attack. It’s the only way to save Palestine and stop the west’s ridiculous control over the world.

Because if no one steps in, Israel & their allies are not gonna stop until the Palestinians are wiped out and they’ve consolidated Palestine into Israel, aka erasing the country. Israel will also continue moving further into the Middle East to conquer other countries. I’m not guessing, the steps are already happening.

One of those political type talk shows, the host was asking the guest, who will control Gaza after all this is over, not why is the US supporting Israel’s behaviors? Thats the mindset in the west.

Early on November 30, 1939, the USSR launched a massive attack against Finland, the Winter War had started. Soviet planners assumed an easy victory. Stalin planned to capture Helsinki within two weeks.

Interview by Pekka Tiilikainen, a radio broadcaster :

"The Russians tried to attack, but were bloodily beaten back. Some of the enemy were able to advance in the gloom right up to the machine-gun emplacement, but a merciless hail of bullets beat the Ivans back. The first attack was repulsed… and the cradle of Karelia drank up the blood of the enemy. The snowdrifts were painted red."
