Sacred grounds
Walking on forgotten trails outside of this town, I’m searching for what was lost in between the lines; Every hill and valley will always remind me Of the sacred grounds that I left behind.
And deep down, I know the sun will never shine,  The same way it shines in the heart of this forest, on this road, near this river; And my smile, I know I’ll never smile like I smiled when I was with you  Together alone, in a perfect world,  With make-believe friends and adventures to last us a million lives.
And I know,  I know you don’t see these things as I do You don’t cherish the memories I so dearly hold onto, Maybe we were meant to live this way, in different worlds - You, normal and happy Me, always searching for my home.

my existence has been tainted on the basis of my constant thinking,
rationality is no longer in the foreground of my mind,
and I am repeatedly finding myself trapped in the endless corridors of my thoughts,
door after door, hall after hall, thought after thought.
nothing but thinking.

Writing immortals and age differences within relationships
When I was a teen, there were far too many books featuring characters that were hundreds of year old and dating teens.
It still happens. But we’ve come to a point where many people agree this isn’t great. There’s a huge debate when it comes to age differences in media, but teenagers are generally too young to be dating immortals.
A lot of these stories justify the age difference with the immortal having the body of a teen. Now, if they have the mind of a teen I can kind of see it, however then there’s the problem of, why even bother having them be hundreds of years old if that’s not going to play a role at all in their character?
Personally I avoid them, kind of.
Here’s the thing, in my own books there is a variety of species with very different life expectancy-s, some are immortal, others live for hundreds of years, some have the normal average human lifespan.
So how do relationships work? Scratch that, how do healthy relationships work?
Because we are allowed to write problematic relationships as long as we don’t fantasize them.
Well, I use the life-long method of, it depends.
Because a five year age different is not the same when talking 15 to 20 and 30 to 35. The same goes for immortality, a two hundred year age gap is completely unacceptable for an eighteen-year-old and two-hundred-and-eighteen-year-old.
But what about a forty-year-old and two-hundred- and-forty-year-old? I allow it. Because the thing is, yes, this a complicated and layered relationship, but these are two consenting and understanding adults. It’s important there be communication about the different experiences and this relationships won’t be simple, but there’s no abuse happening here.
A forty-year-old is capable of understanding what they’re getting into.
The immortal character is also capable of understand their human partner won’t be around forever.
For there me, there isn’t a number of years that makes an age gap acceptable or not. For me the youngest characters needs to be fully developed mentally, and there needs to be healthy communication.
That isn’t to say I don’t have characters who are seven-hundred years old and refuse to date anybody under the age of five-hundred, but in their case it’s not a matter of morality, it’s about preferences.
This character has experienced a life very different to that of a human or any other short life span species, and explaining that type of life can be difficult, hard work. They prefer to date people who share similar experiences.
I have a variety of characters with a variety of relationship preferences and their own personal rules. But this is how I handle age-gaps.
I hope you found this interesting and I would love to hear if you have a different opinion!
If you want to check out my books, free to read stories or other social medias you can check out my author website. I also have a discord for my book series where I’m open to talk about writing, publishing and books in general so if you’d like to reach out me join my discord!
My third book will be going into beta reading soon so if that something you’re interesting in, stay tuned!
Have fun writing!

The reason why so little people care about others' ocs is because the ocs are rarely a standalone creature. If it isn't created, manifested outside a humble ref sheet, there is nothing in the eyes of people.
Making up an OC is smth like aiming to become a parent. But if a parent dies before getting a child, their child dies with them. When you go around and claim that you are going to have a kid all the time to general public people will not care about your kid. May will care about you, but since your kid isn't around yet, there is nothing to judge yet.
Get your blorbo born already! Let it exist on it's own! Let it reproduce by inspiring others!
Do you want to make a game, a webcomic, a book, a series, hell, even an animatic or a set of memeful illustrations?
Fucking do it, that's your sign from above, clocks do be tickin

Found some videos that contain myself laughing.
I hate seeing me laughing, i hate my smile and everything about it, my voice giggling, my weird teeth, my face, everything.
But oh, to remember someone actually enjoyed seeing that mess.
To know that, a little time ago, there was someone who would love that ugly and imperfect smile as something life-saving.
That’s the cruelest memory I could have.
When did I stop shining like that to you?

what if loneliness is the norm we should expect and the momentary connections we feel during our lifetime are the rare little gifts, like shooting stars or butterflies, ephemeral and beautiful, so intrinsically special that we keep with ourselves forever in our memories? some of us, just like butterflies, obsess over them trying to recreate the feeling in makeup,  outfits, and prints in our notebooks to recall that moment when we were all alone.
when you appreciate the butterfly for what it was, what if every connection was a butterfly? We should know better than to crave it but enjoy it and recreate it for everyone to appreciate, every song that they play for me, every movie we saw, every metaphor they use to explain the world is now mine. I would look back to it like a butterfly, with the most regard and I will write songs and books movies and plays paint, and sculpt everyone who had ever made me feel in a minute in time like I belonged right there with them, so I carry them all with me.
how could I ever be alone this way ?

I often wonder, on the basis of innocent curiosity, how I am perceived by others.
perception in itself is worth pondering; there is so many influences, so many causes, so many holes.
I know that others will not perceive me the way I perceive myself, but without the cushioned layers of protected feelings, how am I really viewed?
will the jagged edges of truth cut me, or will they fit perfectly like a corrupt puzzle piece?

time
i wrote once
that time is train silently moving
until I get off at someone else's stop.
but time is the train I lost my ticket for.
a train I never got on in the first place.
time exists without the permission of anyone.
it runs past me at lightning speed,
without the warning sound of thunder to let me know it has gone.
time is the thing I wake up in the middle of the night missing.
they say time heals all wounds
but i didn't realize they meant by bending reality
so sharply that I forgot what was hurting in the first place.
time is the wound.
i want to be seven years old again,
spinning myself around and around on the backyard swing
because I liked the way it felt.
the world has kept spinning without me.
i try to put two feet on the ground.
i try to stop this safely.
the train of time keeps going.
i am still spinning in circles,
without that swing beneath me to keep me steady.
