Hey fanfiction writers: If no one's ever told you this before, it's not just fanfiction.
It's something you spent hours, days, maybe even months on, pouring your heart out onto a page because you were so full of passion and thoughts about a story or characters, you felt like you were going to explode if you didn't get it out. Maybe you lost sleep because your mind was racing with ideas or you forgot to eat or drink water because you were so focused. Maybe your back aches from being hunched over for so long, unmoving. Maybe you even felt like you were going a little feral because you were so excited about what you were creating, or were frustrated when you got stuck. Either way, you put your heart, mind, soul, and body into making something.
It's okay to want people to read it, and it's okay if you're disappointed that they don't or it doesn't get as much of a reaction as you were hoping for. Humans are social creatures. Sure, we write for ourselves, but we also share because the joy of doing so is just as powerful as the joy of the process. Of having created something.
We all experience that joy and that disappointment, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
So it's okay. It's not just fanfiction.

Drabble for the Tailors on Baker Street
@stargotheart asked for a part two for The Tailors on Baker Street an age ago and I finally got around to writing it! Small warning ahead for implied abuse and murder.
*.*.*
Using your horrible ex-spouse's money for a good cause had only been logical and natural. There were many people in situations where they needed aid but didn't know where to go and you wanted to offer a space where they could get good counsel at the very least, if not outright a way out, be it bad relationships or debts.
You hadn't been alone in creating the charity house Daisy Chain, your friend Jane had been a massive help, as had been Julius and Milly. Their eyes had briefly lit up sunshine-gold when you had asked if you could use that particular name and you'd never forget the way they looked at you afterwards.
The way Milly had cupped your face ever so gently in her palms, thumbs smoothing over your cheeks and her smile as sweet as honey as she looked at you. Julius had taken your hand afterwards, touch soft and careful and he had lifted it to pressed a light kiss to your knuckles, gaze holding yours.
"Let us know if there is anyone who could use our particular kind of help," he had murmured, his soft lips brushing your skin and his gaze downright captivating, the color his eyes turning a dark, smoldering gold. "We'd love to take care of such cases."
You could admit to yourself then, as they had stood close to you, brimming with some kind of unnatural joy while still handling you with near intense softness, that you had started to fall in love with them. With these wonderful, strange and kind and lovely people who made you laugh until you were breathless, something you hadn't done for quite some time.
You did not care that their eyes held a golden shine, something human eyes should not have, that they sometimes whisked people into their backroom and you could never prove anything, but you had slowly pieced some things together by asking careful questions in the following days. Whenever they spoke with someone, at least a week or two later, a spouse or family member or acquaintance died.
It would have scared you in the past, before your marriage and it probably would scare others, but mostly you were...glad. That people who had no one else, who lived in darkness and fear as you had, as you still sometimes did when shadows in the shape of your deceased spouse followed at your heels, could turn to someone.
That someone would listen and do something when no one else would. If your fellow humans and the law and even faith was of no aid, there was someone else out there willing to offer a hand.
You loved them for that, too. A part of you loved Milly and Julius for caring, for seeing evil and destroying it. For extending warmth and safety to those who needed it.
That feeling of being safe around them had never disappeared either. To this day whenever you saw them, when you visited their shop or they dropped by your place in the evening, you still felt it. Warm and gentle and yet as steady and present as the sun and moon, as the tides that flowed around the world. They were safe and you were safe with them.
Tonight was the opening night for Daisy Chain and many of your former spouse's friends and acquaintances had shown up, commending you on your bravery in these trying times, as well as your altruistic, good heart.
Being widowed helped more than you had expected, though you weren't grieving at all, of course. It felt like people donated more out of pity than anything else, but you were willing to take what you could get. Especially if it ended up helping others.
Your downright decadent evening garb, made by Milly and Julius, seemed to get compliments from every single person that greeted you and even you could admit that you hadn't been dressed so finely even when your spouse had been alive.
They had always wanted to look impeccable in the public eye and to be the envy of everyone who laid eyes upon them. Dressing you up like a decorative piece had just simply been part of that.
Milly and Julius on the other hand had hand-sewn you something so beautiful and fitting that just putting it on had given you more confidence. The second you had looked into the mirror, you felt as though you were looking at a fairy tale version of yourself. There was a shine to you that you had never seen before.
Jane, your best friend who had been a steady source of support and cheer no matter what, had given you a very knowing grin when she had arrived with her beau.
Milly and Julius had shown up a little while ago as well, mingling with the rich gentry, looking gorgeous and mysterious and they fit in seamlessly. Sometimes though you saw their smiles gain the faintest edge, their eyes tracking someone who you had heard unpleasant rumors about.
You regretfully didn't speak much with them, you were too busy socializing and they seemed to be doing their own little thing as well, but every so often your gazes met. Every time you felt your heart melt at the smiles they gave you. They looked proud and encouraging and so very lovely.
As the evening wound down, you found yourself glad to send your guests home, some more drunk than others. Jane was the one who ushering the last straggler out and into a waiting carriage. She waved at you with a grin and you waved back, mouthing a heartfelt 'thank you' at her.
She sketched a playful bow and mouthed 'always' back at you, before taking her beau's hand and letting him help her into their own carriage. She waved one last time as they drove away, looking tired but happy.
And then, finally, the stressful and yet very successful and exciting evening was over.
The only reason you heard Milly and Julius approach from behind was because they wanted you to hear them. Their steps still threading softer than a humans would and you knew from experience that they could walk utterly soundlessly. You looked over your shoulder at them, finding yourself relaxing fully.
"You did amazing work, darling," Milly said, voice quiet in the empty, large entrance hall and her eyes held a soft, warm golden shimmer in the candlelight. "You truly are beautiful inside and out."
"With a soul as bright as your spirit," Julius added. "Thank you, for honoring us with an invite. For letting us see you shine tonight."
This was another thing they did. They made you just a little speechless with the way they spoke with you, the easy-as-breathing compliments and sweet words and endearments. The way they looked at you. You hadn't had a desire to be close to someone in a romantic way after you had gotten married, but those two...
Within a year they had awoken many of your quiet, sweet little dreams about what love could be. You had buried those dreams upon your marriage and you had even thought them dead and gone until they had lifted your hopes back into the light.
You never wanted to marry again, but if it was them, if they would ever want you the way you had grown to want them, you'd be willing to offer up your heart one more time. To trust someone else with yourself, even if a part of you found the thought of such vulnerability quite terrifying.
"Tonight was quite the success," Milly said as she joined you by the window, the embroidery of her gorgeous dress shimmering in the candlelight. "Though you seem quite thoughtful now."
You might be biased, but in your opinion, she had been the most beautiful woman at the party tonight. She had easily charmed all other guests and no one had noticed her sharp gaze that missed nothing.
Julius joined her at your other side, elegant and tall and in your opinion, among all the other gentlemen, he had cut the most impressive figure. He had gotten everyone around him to relax, smiling and joking and casting him the occasional, admiring look.
You were the only one aware of the fact that people always said more than they meant to around both tailors. That they revealed things they hadn't meant to, especially when alcohol joined the mix. You had caught one or two startled faces as someone hastily excused themselves from a conversation or quickly changed the subject.
"You're just both on my mind," you answered honestly, allowing yourself to be a little daring, riding the feeling of relieved success that seemed to lend wings to your heart and soul. "Could you learn anything useful from anyone?"
"Oh, plenty," Julius reassured you with a charming smile, one that had enough of an earnest edge to let you know it wasn't one of those empty, charming smiles he offered to polite society. "Don't worry, we got everything we wanted and more."
"Even had we gained nothing, we would have greatly enjoyed ourselves," Milly added, drifting an elegant step closer to you, her decadent dress brushing a little up against you. "We came here for you after all, first and foremost."
While that was true, you were glad that they would be able to help more people going forward. It was strangely reassuring to know that dangerous, nasty folk in positions of powers had predators after them. That, even if the law didn't do anything or even protected them, someone would still come for them to stop them.
"We will always be there if you want us to be," Julius added, voice dropping to something quieter as he reached out, tucking a stray piece of hair behind your ear, his fingertips warm and slightly calloused as they brushed your skin, causing a pleasant little shiver to travel down your back. "You have become quite dear to us."
"Very much so," Milly agreed and both of their gazes felt warm and heavy on you. "Which is why, if you are not too tired yet, we'd like to speak with you."
You were still riding the euphoric relief of a successful evening and while you knew the exhaustion would hit hard later, for now you felt wide awake.
"I have time," you reassured her, glancing between them curiously. "Is there something I can help you with?" You'd do everything you could to be of aid to them, that was for sure.
"This is no business talk," Milly said and grew more serious, her faintly golden eyes drawing you in with their intensity. "I want to say first that one word from you and we will never speak of this again, nor do we want you to feel like you have to say yes."
"No matter your answer, you will remain our cherished friend and you can always count on our aid," Julius added, just as solemn and serious and intense, his gaze capturing and holding yours when you glanced at him.
A thread of nervousness wove through your gut and around your heart, but it was far smaller than it would have been had anyone else approached you. Because Milly and Julius were safe. They might be dangerous for others, might be downright deadly, but they were protectors at heart.
Even now, as they stood close to you, that feeling of safety was there, the candlelight illuminating everything softly and warmly. It felt cozy and private and comfortable and it calmed every one of your anxieties. It soothed the part of your heart and soul that still carried deep bruises from your previous marriage.
"Alright," you said, carefully lacing your fingers together to keep from fiddling with anything.
You had no idea where this was going, but as you looked at them, at the way they watched you, a quiet hope you didn't dare voice began to rise within you. It unfolded weightless wings that seemed to fill your entire chest and before you knew it, you had taken a small step towards them.
They didn't miss that. Of course they didn't and you felt fingertips brush your hands and you easily unlaced your fingers to reach back. Hands that were quite different from each other, one slender and the other big, but both warm and calloused and they held yours as though it was made of spun glass.
"We never expected you to become such an integral a part of our lives when we met you," Milly said, voice growing softer and her smile was sweet and so very hopeful it made your breath catch and your heart flutter. "But the more we got to know you, the more you grew into the person you wanted to be, the more we enjoyed your company."
"We've both found ourselves looking forward to your visits, counting down the hours until we could close the shop and head over to your place," Julius said and when he reached out with his free hand, seemingly unable to help himself to cup your cheek, you couldn't help but lean your head a little into the touch.
His hand was warm and calloused and never anything but gentle and safe and he was solid and grounding.
"We talked at length about this," Milly said, her slender, strong fingers interlacing with yours in that same, gentle and safe manner and giving a little, reassuring squeeze. "If we should even say anything, if our affections wouldn't be entirely misplaced."
"They aren't," you whispered and your heart seemed to fill with so much bubbling hope you wouldn't have been surprised to see it spill out to stain your skin that same, beautiful golden glow that you saw in the eyes of your tailors.
"Then let us to be blunt," Julius said and his small smile was hopeful. "We found ourselves caring deeply for you and we hope that you might allow us to love you."
"We know you know we're not human," Milly added quietly. "But if you want us, we will gift you our hearts as surely as we gave them to each other. As you have welcomed us into your life, we'd welcome you into ours."
You didn't even have to think about the answer. Not when all your quiet yearnings and hopes and soft feelings and your longing for love wove into one big strand that tugged you towards them.
"You shall have my heart in return," you answered, your grip tightening on their hands. "For as long as you want me, it is yours."
"Forever then," Julius said quietly, smoothing his thumb over your cheek before he used the hand that cupped the side of your face to guide you a little closer. "Sweet one, let me steal a kiss."
You'd let him steal that and so much more if he wanted to. You closed your eyes and leaned up, his lips brushing yours with the same love and care he had shown you in all other regards.
"We'll take you out tomorrow," he whispered as he pulled back, he smelled faintly of champagne and something that reminded you of sunshine dancing on cool water, the sort of smell you wouldn't have found on a human partner.
"We might have been planning a couple of possible dates," Milly added as he pulled back and you turned towards her. She was smiling so happily it filled your heart with even more joy in return. "We'd love to court you properly."
"You don't have to," you said as Julius' hand slipped away and she took a step forward, her slender, elegant hand settling on your other cheek. Her touch felt just as steady and grounding and safe.
"We value too much to not show our appreciation," she said, leaning in and you turned towards her like a flower to light and her soft lips brushed your cheek, then the corner of your mouth and you turned your head just enough to meet her next kiss.
She too smelled like champagne and sunshine on water and her kiss pressed a little deeper than her husbands and you allowed yourself to get lost in it, in her, until she pulled back.
"I might have some plans myself," you admitted, thinking of all the times you had daydreamed about asking them out and them saying yes. Of showing them beautiful gardens and hidden little spots in nature outside the city. Of inviting them to art galleries and theaters and festivals.
"We look forward to them," Julius said, leaning in to press a kiss to your temple, while his wife smiled and kissed your cheek again. "Will you let us take you home tonight?"
"Yes," you answered with a smile. Tonight and any other night. For as dangerous as you knew they were, for all that they weren't human, you knew their hands would be nothing but gentle and careful.
You could put everything you were into their hold and know, down to the marrow of your bones, that you would be welcomed and treated with care. That they had grown to love you as much as you loved them and despite the shadows lingering, the bruises left on your mind and soul, you could entrust your heart to them as surely as they had offered theirs to you.

The Sidekick's Villain: Dinner (pt.3)
Part 1 - Part 2
The restroom is large and perfectly clean, polished floor and porcelain sink almost shining. Sidekick has just a moment to look around before strong hands close around his arms and pull him inside, the door closing and locking.
"Villain-"
Villain's hand moves as if he meant to cover Sidekick's mouth, then pauses at the last moment and takes his jaw instead.
“Yes, darling?” Voice low, smug. Wrapping his other arm around Sidekick's waist he presses him against his own chest, lips brushing the shell of Sidekick's ear.
The feeling of expensive fabric on his skin is always heavenly, and Villain's cologne is so familiar. Sidekick instinctively lets him tilt his head as he likes, perfectly compliant.
"What are you planning to do?" His voice is already low, his breaths coming too quickly, chest brushing against Villain's.
He can feel Villain smirking. “Hurting you now would be a given.” His hold changes as he forces Sidekick to turn around and step back until he hits the wall. His hands are swiftly caught and raised above his head, pinned in place together, leaving Sidekick's front exposed. “You probably expect it.”
Sidekick's blood catches on fire. He pulls against Viallin's hold just to feel it tighten on his wrists, keeps his eyes fixed on Villain's. He knows his pupils must be dilated, can't do anything about that.
"You are a criminal." He is even more breathless. He needs Villain close, needs it. "And I am at your mercy. What else could you want?"
Sidekick arches his neck just so, lets the light catch his jewellery, his eyes, the metallic sheen of his eyeliner.
Villain's eyes darken. He might be wearing a bit of makeup too, almost unnoticeable, to make his eyes seem even darker.
A sharp grin graces his lips. “You don’t seem scared.” He pushes even closer, their bodies pressing together, Sidekick's necklaces digging slightly into his skin.
Sidekick's breath catches completely, his body welcoming Villain's, softening for him.
He arches his neck even further. Villain would be kissing it at this point, would be running his hands over his silk-clad body.
Sidekick wants to know what he'll do in this new situation they have found themselves in.
"I have... strange tastes." A murmur, Sidekick's lips just slightly curved.
“You like the adrenaline.” Villain wraps his other hand around Sidekick's throat, nails digging into his skin. “You like being handled like this.”
Sidekick has to bite back a moan, which is answer enough. Especially since his reaction is to keep his neck bared, instead of trying to protect it.
"You are intoxicating. I can't help myself."

Prompt #601
[Villain] nearly cried in relief as [Hero] finally picked up the phone, "[Hero] please, I need your help."
"That's not really how this works..." [Hero] trailed off, and [Villain] took a shaky breath.
"I accidentally started a cult!" [Villain] admitted, laying it all out for [Hero].
The line went silent for a long few moments before [Hero] finally replied, "...what?"
"I kinda, accidentally, came back from the dead, and now a bunch of people are worshipping me." [Villain] clarified.
"WHAT?!?!" [Hero] yelled into the phone, causing [Villain] to flinch and pull it away from their ear.

Next is an one-shot of how Y/N met the first two and in the end.. gonna mark the birthday baby that is babbit
Tumblr media
"Has this happened to anyone else by any chance?"
From the very beginning, there was something peculiar about the game. Sundrop, the dacycare attendant, acted strangely towards me, pleading for me not to delete it again and referring to me as a dev. However, it was Moondrop's behavior that heightened my suspicions that something was amiss.
So, i have heard about moondrop, and that apparently, it's got quite the reputation for being a real fear-inducer. I mean, people on forums can't stop talking about it! They say that once this thing attacks you, nothing else in the game can even come close to scaring you.
So imagine my surprise when i was staring at sundrop and telling him that I was not a developer as he was just picking the player up and repeating the same phrase "developer do not delete us". All of a sudden, the lights went out and an eerie silence filled the room. I anticipated hearing moondrop's voice saying i should go to sleep or perhaps even a cutscene, but to my surprise, nothing occurred. Initially, I presumed that my computer had crashed , but before I could restart it, I caught sight of two emerald eyes peering at me from the heart of the daycare.
I stood with the player model , gazing towards Moondrop or whoever that person was. As I slowly started to move, I quickly walked past him. However, the strange thing was that he was just moving his head while I was going on the playpen going after the generators. The only indication that he was following me was the sound of his springs and the swish of the cable of him moving out of the playpen. This behavior was disconcerting and unsettling.
As I reached the final generator, I witnessed Gregory being dragged outside the playpen. Our ascent was abrupt and it felt like we were rising rapidly. Suddenly, we came to a halt and a voice whispered:
"Moondrop": Shh..past...punished...children.. naughty? N..n..no..rrrghhh..s..sun"
The camera suddenly jerked, as if something had been thrown with force. The game models were disrupted, and the character slammed into the wall, halting his previous movement. A sound of moomdrop approaching and then he appeared, staring at me like a dog. Its words were threatening, "Hidey no...I am putting you in time out...ne...never leave...no more...alone."
Has ever anyone reported this?

_____________________________________
You wake up on the middle of the beach. A little way back is your house. It's night and you're drenched in water. With the frigid feeling through your skin you could only assume you had been literally whisked away by someone over the waters. Everything was so confusing, and now you looked towards the sea just to see those deep purple eyes staring at you. All the flippers on his head were glowing blue. You knew that meant Eclipse was sad or worried about something.
You sighed and slowly stood up, the sand muffling your footsteps and you walked to where the waves break. You stopped right there still looking at the gigantic baby, and called him with your hands. Eclipse, still feeling guilty, goes slowly, swimming to shore and stopping when his belly stopped on the sand. He was now just a few steps away from you, sighing and putting your feet in the sea water, you approached the merman.
"So can you tell me what happened? I just remember that I passed out and… " He quickly stretched out one of his hands and held your much smaller hand in it gently. He couldn't believe you were still talking to him after almost drowning. He brought you close to himself and started dragging his face over you and purring lightly.
“I love you. Worried I was, alive you are. Happy, happy, happy "
"Wait, can you speak my language? When did you learn that?" You didn’t mind being so close to his face since he seemed to be really worried about you. Seeing the silly and innocent way of Eclipse, you give a small laugh and hugged Eclipse's round face.
Still curious, he stops for a few seconds to think about when he started to be able to speak in your language he sighs and elaborates slightly.
"Y/N help Eclipse fish. Eclipse wanted to thank you. Human language is difficult, but Eclipse tried his best, because Eclipse loves y/n and y/n loves Eclipse." His voice didn't sound like a normal person’s, but a gigantic adult with a slightly thick voice. Occasionally, a thin little scream came out, as if he was still getting used to speaking that language.
You think it's cute and you gave him a little smile and gently placed a hand onto his face. Eclipse’s purr was gratifying, and so nice to hear, it was like having a giant wet cat who loved you like a best friend.
At the same time Eclipse leaves the hug, purring lightly. He was happy to finally tell you that he loved you, and apparently you loved him back from the demonstration you gave. Perhaps he should teach your language to Sun and Moon! Then they could say things to you instead of just pointing around. Before he goes back to the sea, he licks you and puts you back in the sand, diving and going to the bottom of the sea to find his brothers and maybe when they were better they could surprise you.
You started walking back home and then you realized that your house had only one light on, but last time you hadn't left anything on. Was someone in the house? Slowly you approach, the fear creeping in as the silhouette of the house was getting closer. You didn't know if there was a killer inside your house to keep it lit. Eclipse would worry about you if you disappeared in the middle of the night. He would be so sad. You think about it until you stop in front of your door and before you can open it, someone else does and that person looks very angry.
"Do you have any idea how worried I was about you?! You've been gone for about three days! I thought you..." She stopped talking at the sight of you, drenched in sea water and sporting a horrified yet surprised look on your face. The woman in front of you had blonde hair and green eyes, with a little freckles spread across her face. Just below her eyes there were big dark circles. You could tell it was actually due to her work. Either as a manager or security guard, you really didn't know which. For a gigantic aquarium it would be so tiring. Your best friend sighs and steps aside for you to finally enter your own home.
It'd been a few hours since you arrived. After taking a shower and putting on a warmer outfit, you're now sitting on the couch with a mug of hot chocolate and some marshmallows. It was very quiet, extremely quiet, and you could hear the droplets of rain outside and occasionally some thunder. Actually you could cut that tension with a knife. Your friend Vanessa was staring at you with those emerald eyes waiting for you to say something, to bring up the subject that was bothering her for so long.
You sighed after taking a sip of the hot chocolate, and stared back at Vanessa. She inhaled sharply through her nose and looked away quickly. You didn't know if that was out of sheer shame or something else, but you wanted to know what she was waiting to ask you. At this point you were hoping she’d ask anything since that silence was very strange for her. Vanessa was always a woman who liked to talk to you or anyone, but being so quiet like this was kind of weird.
“Okay, Van… What's bothering you and keeping you staring at me for so long? You know you can say anything to me and I will answer you honestly.”
“Are you seriously asking me why I'm like this?! You disappeared for exactly three days! No one knew what happened to you. You only appeared once in the water and were seen being carried away by something, and that thing swam into the middle of the sea before diving with you! I thought you had drowned, and you have the nerve to ask me why I'm like this!? I was worried about you! Now will you tell me what that shit was and what was it doing to you underwater?” Hearing Vanessa call Sun a shit, made you grip the mug a little tighter, after everything you two had been through, you didn't have the courage to tell her who those new friends of yours were. At the same time she made you a little angry, calling someone as innocent as Sun ‘shit’. You took a long sip just to make her a little angrier and put the mug on the table and your hands on your lap, staring at her. Your eyes shone while you stared in an almost death penance way, giving a sigh as you began to speak.
“Firstly, Vanessa, that thing that took me to the middle of the sea is not shit, it's a friend of mine. I won't tell you anymore, even with all the questions you have. Secondly, I'm fine. You don't need to worry as if I were your daughter. Thirdly, I might as well leave you outside in the rain to catch some disease but I won't because you're my friend. This conversation about what happened to me during those three days ends here and now.”
Vanessa was transfixed by what you said and started to stomp her foot on the floor. She wanted to scream and try to convince you to say what was going on but she knew how stubborn you could be. She sighed and slowly rose out of the chair she’d been sitting in and headed to the kitchen trying to get some hot chocolate. You didn’t really register all of this as there was something on your mind that you wanted to get off. You took another sip slowly and with a sigh and flushed cheeks, you spoke up.
“ Hey Van...can I ask you a question?”
Vanessa looked up from making her drink. “Shoot.”
“When do you... Stop thinking that a wild animal is... You know, wild?”
“Oh? When you love it… It’s a bit more complicated than that, but you get the jist I think.”
When you love them? That was a little weird. I mean, you always loved Eclipse, Sun, and Moon together, but maybe it was that kind of love.
The more…romantic kind.
It wasn't that for sure, at least that's what you think. You wanted all the best for them and wanted them to always be happy. You pick up the mug again and take another sip. It was almost gone. You sighed a little. Maybe you were loving them for so long that you didn't even know it yourself. It was so strange to be there just thinking about Eclipse, watching the raindrops hit the window. You knew they were much more, but then those words that Vanessa said hit your mind. You knew you loved them not as a boyfriend or something, but rather as best friends or even family.
You slowly got up and just looked at Vanessa, still angry with what she had said before and went to your room with those same words still echoing inside your head. You threw yourself on the bed and look at the wooden ceiling and without realizing it, slowly sleep engulfed you.
It was soon morning, and as usual, you were at the docks waiting for your friends to show up. You had brought a few things for them to eat, but something was very wrong. It had been three hours and none of them had appeared or showed their faces to explain the delay. That worried you, but you knew that if there was something wrong, Eclipse would tell you without hiding it.
After all, he knew the human language well enough.
You just sighed and wondered if you did something wrong. You heard a strange sound coming from the water, and two white eyes stared at you, but this time... They looked sad and despondent. It was Moon
“Sad… I heard a fight… not my fault? I’m ugly and scary. I'm sorry ssssstarlighttty.” Over there by the surface of the water, you saw that little light that was always hanging off the tip of Moon’s head fin. He seemed to be trying to hide it from you. Had they heard that argument you had with Vanessa? Moon thought that the argument was his fault ? You give a small laugh and gently pat the top of his head.
Intense chill ran through Moon's entire body. He had thought that because of the muffled screams that had come from your house, something very bad had happened and that strange person had fought with you. If he wasn't so weak, maybe he wouldn't have so many scars and could get out of the water without feeling any pain… However, his thoughts were pulled out as you touched him, the chill that came with it was a reminder that he shouldn't fall for that siren's song, but simultaneously the touch was so soft and so tender…
He slowly looked in your direction seeing your eyes shine with love and so much kindness. They were full of friendship and understanding. Why were you treating him so well? You’d gotten hurt because of him, didn't you?
"Ugly? There's nothing ugly about you. Actually... Out of your brothers, you are always so beautiful, Moony. And besides! Some scars can be seen as a very courageous thing. Don't feel bad, ok? The thing you heard from my house wasn't your fault, ok? I love you all, ok?”
You slowed down and reached your hand towards his head but stopped midway when you thought that Moon might bite you again.
It had been hard to get his trust but after those sweet and quiet words the merman knew he could trust you just a little more. He wouldn't open up directly like the other two, but you’d get to know him. Moon also wanted to play that weird game you were playing before with Sun in the corals. Maybe he could also call Eclipse. He shook his head, sending those thoughts away and with his cold hands, the merman put your delicate hand on top of his head. That sent a shiver down your spine, but at the same time a smile appeared on your face. You pat his nightcap. It wasn't slimy but smooth, not what you expected. You stayed there with him, waiting for Sun or Eclipse to appear and inform you about why they were taking so long.
Sun was hiding under the corals just looking at his brother's tail, his eyes filled with tears. He was afraid that that strange sound he had heard before was his fault, after all he was normal. He didn’t have a special talent like his brother. Although Eclipse and Moon always told him that, yes, he had something, he just didn't recognise what it was.
Sun looked up and wondered what he should say to you. If he should apologize or if he should just leave Moon and Eclipse up there with you, after all he didn't deserve to be there with you. Soon after so much debating, he slowly started to swing his tail and just before he could break the surface he stopped, looking to his right. He could see you and Moon talking about something he couldn't hear well but there was something in that conversation that made him a little more nervous and a little more cautious. He shook his head and slowly broke the surface, looking directly at you.
When he appeared you gave a huge smile and you waved your delicate hands towards him. He felt his cheeks turn red but he shook his head and swam very shyly towards the docks. Touching and holding the wood just below the platform, he looks in your direction and sees that you are still petting Moon's nightcap, which causes involuntary tears to fall from his eyes.
You worry about him and stop petting Moon and stretch your arms towards Sun's face. Touching his cheeks and wiping away the tears, you're saying something, but he can't understand. His crying made think harder, but he recalled some phrases that Eclipse taught him and with a voice choked with sobs as he started to speak certain words.
"Sorry, my fault… Not special, and now you sad… Sorry, worthless Sun, worthless Sun."
You looked confused."What? Sun, Sun, stop, stop it's not your fault! It was just an argument, please, you're not useless."
"Yes fault. if not useless, you would be happy. You would be having more fun… Useless Sun."
You jump into the lake, swimming towards Sun's back and you hug him tightly. He stops crying instantly when you just hug him. His hands shake and slowly he touches your arms, hugging you in return. Moon sees that but doesn't get jealous as he knew Sun needed this right now. After a while you move your head away from his back and smile at him before saying.
“Sun, listen to me. You are the most amazing thing to happen to my life. Your voice is so cute and your smile brightens my day., so trust me when I say that you are something special."
He hears your words, moved. You really thought he was special, and that let him see the world in a new light. Very slowly, Moon swam in your direction and hugged you together. That was something special and he didn't want to break the moment by showing up, but there was a smile on Eclipse’s face as he hid under water. You had managed to conquer them too. That would be interesting.

Stella: *Half drunk* The truth is, I'm yours, all yours. Sorry I never said that soberly.
Beatrix: ... Say that again after two coffees and I'll be all yours.

Ask game 9 ☺️💜
I have a Winner’s Room series with 3 fics, primarily Eddie/Matt, and I have so many ideas. I left it with “Matt has an unwise crush on Eddie now,” and I’ve thought about writing them addressing that outside of the room, and agreeing to a scene, basically.
And then I have a bunch of daydreamy story ideas about Mox/Eddie/Matt, Nick being overly protective (maybe Nick insists on being there, maybe Claudio is there to distract him 😉). But nothing is sketched out. Maybe one day!

Brownie points for anyone who can guess the AU/series this one here is from...
I cast a weary look around the room through the haze of cigarettes and cigars. I see nothing but forced smiles on the faces of the gentlemen and bored looks and twinkling diamonds on the women clutching either their husbands’ arms, their champagne glasses, or both. I have to fight not to shake my head; so much glitz on the outside, so much dullness underneath.

Prompt #633
“Did you know, that if the Earth were just five meters closer or farther from the sun, we would all die?” [Villain] looked up in awe from their phone.
“That’s not even remotely true,” [Scientist] hummed as they continued working on their computer.
“But, this infogra-“
[Scientist] glanced up at them, “What did the last infographic you read tell you?”
[Villain] deflated, “that dihydrogen monoxide was toxic.”
“And what’s dihydrogen monoxide?” [Scientist] persisted.
“Water…” [Villain] pouted.

I would like to apologize to my beta readers in advance for the spelling errors in the final chapters of my manuscript. I cried violently and couldn't see the screen because of my tears.

Who doesn't like a book with maps?! I had blast making these for my book. Also, did you know that half-melted snow piles make great map inspiration?
