After Whumpee goes unconscious from initially getting injured. When they come to, with a grimace they try to writhe or get away in response to the immediate pain.
Caretaker having to put a hand on Whumpee’s shoulder or leg, quieting them. Making sure they stay still and remain calm so they don’t make it worse for themselves.
Achilles’ excuse for not killing Hector was that he “hasn’t done anything to him.” He says that. Over and over. He won’t kill him, because he hadn’t ever done anything to him.
65 (2023): When Mills is scanning the location of the other half of his ship from up a tree, giant bugs land on his hand, his sudden startled move causes him to fall from the tree and his shoulder gets dislocated. As he (painfully) tries to pop his shoulder back in place with Koa’s help, there is a crocodile/alligator-like dinosaur closing in on them.
A character faints or their legs simply give out and they collapse to the ground, unable to catch themself, landing on an already injured limb or an arrow or debris lodged in them and writhing and screaming; pure raw instinctual pain just torn out of them- not even a conscious reaction on their part but their body simply unable to contain such agony.
Not exactly an ask, but I just wanna say that your art? It's just so BEAUTIFUL! I ESPECIALLY love how you draw your characters! They all look fancy and unique!
(also I like how you draw CatNap and DogDay, you just draw them so well!)
Tysm! I appreciate it whenever people show how much they like this little blog I put up, it warms my heart seeing how others enjoy it too as much as I do! Hopefully I'll be able to do more and enhance the designs of the characters as time goes on.
A Caretaker, who is either really strong or supernatural, and is usually able to take anything thrown at them, no matter if it’s a trap or not. They’re used to barreling through situations in order to save their Whumpee, and come out fine, no matter what happens to them.
This time, however, Whumper has set the perfect trap and has Whumpee ready as bait. They’ve figured out a way to finally subdue Caretaker and incapacitate them. Whumpee thinks it’ll be okay even after Caretaker gets hit, thinking they’ll get up to dust themselves off like they usually do.
Instead, their hope dwindles as they see Caretaker, still sprawled on the ground unable to get up. They see them breathing rapidly with their lips parted and eyebrows furrowed, trying to deal with the pain. Whumpee’s oh shit moment when they see Caretaker try to get up, but it only results in agony, causing them to sink back down and writhe in misery.
