4. favorite character you’ve written

i feel like the answer to this question changes a lot. broadly: any character who is stupid. writing someone who doesn't actually know anything and has insane takes on the world is extremely fun for me to write. see: glenn close "from" dndads

i genuinely love writing mobius though. i love his moral quandries. he's a bitch but he's kind. owen wilson talks so specifically too so that it's generally easy for me to hear things that i write in his voice so that's a huge bonus

also if we're talking ocs it's hands down my love my life connor wright of @wrightiverse fame. he's blorbo from my brain

This chapter was like a soufflé, even the slightest thing wrong with it seemed to make the whole thing collapse. But I think I finally got it. There’s this whole alchemy of setting up stuff to play out later without making it seem like an obvious setup. It’s challenging, but fun.

The problem of two dads in a relationship is, on Thanksgiving, who gets to “rest their eyes” on the couch when the food coma kicks in? Not really a turkey and stuffing household, I think. A lot of lobster and a lot of vodka gimlets, maybe.  Connor and Nick are probably up on the roof, throwing fireworks at each other. Tradition!
