You keep getting married to Beetlejuice
This fucker loves to party (and he loves you), so you are having weddings constantly
You officially get married in private, with only Lydia, the Deetzs and the Maitlands there. You take it easy so he can adjust to being alive, but Delia still throws a pretty fun party- if a little...odd. Still, it's enough for Beetlejuice to learn his alcohol tolerance isn't NEARLY as high now that he has a heartbeat.
"Babes!! I cannot fuckin wait to get married to you all over again." He's half asleep, laying his entire weight on you, reeking of booze, smiling like a dope. "Uh-huh. Me too, Beej." You pat his back.
(Also, turns out now that he sleeps for real, he snores. you think its cute.)
Once he's human (and more or less used to it), you have a more traditional wedding with your friends and family all there, and throw an all night reception and after party at a bar - beej loves the energy and is cheering on your grandparents to throw ass on the dance floor all night
"Fuck it up Agnes! Hell yeah!" (This is probably not your grandma's name. Actually, is that even your grandma?)
This goes over not great, but better than expected; everyone has a good time. You do too, of course. You are drunk and wearing white and laughing so loud, and when you aren't dancing, Beetlejuice can barely keep his hands off you. Hell, when you ARE dancing Beetlejuice can't keep his hands off you.
you go to Las Vegas for the honeymoon and get married again - Beej insists on the most tacky wedding possible and you agree.
You get married by an Elvis impersonater in a sticky little chapel on the strip. You wear a suit, and he wears a tight, short wedding dress with a veil and pumps.
"third time's the charm?" You ask, when Elvis finally says to kiss the groom. " Oh no, babes. We're hitting the drive through wedding chapel next."
"Deal!" And you dip him before kissing him square in the mouth.
You keep getting married to Beetlejuice, because you both want to make fucking SURE it sticks.

In an AU where instead of Geto, it's Shiki who fall to the dark side;
How well would her friends and family take the news?
How scared are the Jujutsu HQ when the girl who can kill anything is now their enemy?
What would be her end goal? Classic stuff like kill all non-sorcerers? Or something else entirely?
Hmm villain!Shiki AU...
The easiest way I can see this happening would be if Shiki doesn't have any close friends or connections keeping her on the 'straight road,' so to speak.
In a world that's less kind, Shiki never meets Nanami Kento. Her parents sell her to the Kamo Clan after she wakes up from a coma with cursed eyes, and so one of the first lessons that Shiki learns in her childhood is abandonment.
The representative who arrives from the Kamo Clan to take her away is Araya Souren.
Shiki grows up with this man who is her teacher and father and jailer all in one. He tries to kill her, and fails. The second lesson that she learns is betrayal.
Once, Araya had spoken to her cryptically of his goals before.
To the end and the beginning, to life and to death. To the truth hidden within the core of this broken world… and the way to finally break free of this endless cycle of madness and suffering.
To him, the world is full of suffering and misery. He wants to 'break the cycle,' whatever that means, and apparently Shiki's abilities are the key to it.
Shiki doesn't care about any of that. Araya wanted to break the cycle? Well, then she'll just be part of it.
(Countless red lines beckon her, an allure that Shiki has no desire nor inclination to resist.
Destroy, destroy, destroy.
... It's not such a bad way to pass the time until her eventual death.)
'Shiki' probably becomes known as a fickle-natured globe-trotting curse user who spontaneously goes on murder sprees for seemingly no reason at all in this AU.
To (finally) address Anon's questions:
1: Shiki's family and friends from zenith of stars aren't emotionally invested in this version of Shiki.
However, Nanami probably experiences some sense of guilt and responsibility, when later investigations reveal that this is his niece. Even if he wasn't on good terms with his sister and brother-in-law, what happened to Shiki was... horrifying.
Shiki's parents are alive. They ended up using the money they got from selling Shiki to live a comfortable life, although their later years are spent in terror when they learn what their daughter has become. Their greatest fear is Shiki coming to kill them someday.
2: Jujutsu HQ probably starts losing their minds when they get reports of a curse user whose cursed technique appears to be killing, of all things. They do their best to monitor her and estimate her travel patterns, and prevent her from crossing paths with Gojo Satoru.
If she and Gojo Satoru end up fighting... the end results would be catastrophic. They need to avoid that at all costs.
If she and Gojo Satoru end up getting along with each other... their combined strength would be enough to make the entire world kneel. They need to avoid that at all costs.
3: As stated earlier, Shiki doesn't have a particular goal in mind, aside from 'preserving' the cycle that Araya so abhorred and desired to destroy. She wanders the world sowing chaos to her whims, secretly hoping to find something that won't be fragile and ephemeral -as the red lines in her eyes indicate everything to be.

I have seen you talking about Dick & Dami's relationship and Dick & Tim as well, but what are your takes on Dick and Jason actually?
Like how you wish their relationship should be portrayed today and where are them missing when it comes to making those two acting like siblings?
Do you think in the past their dynamic was better?
How Dick views Jason and how Jason views Dick?
This is difficult to answer because there are like 8 different stages to Dick and Jason's relationship with various dynamics. They also view each other a bit differently depending on which stage we're talking about.
The way I would like their relationship to be portrayed today isn’t necessarily possible thanks to Jason’s integration into the family and acceptance of the no killing moral code. For me, their ideal dynamic is portrayed in Outsiders #44-46. And I know people are gonna find that regressive as hell but, tbh, that dynamic is far more interesting than the kinda awkward thing they have going on now.
Although, I don't mind that they acknowledge their brotherhood in a serious manner now. Like before they'd kinda be like, "Eh... I mean... we were adopted from the same guy but... brothers? Eh..." And now they're more firmly in the, "We're brothers," camp. So that development is interesting.
Character progression wise, it wouldn't feel right for for them to be super close in the way that, say, Dick and Tim are (unless we saw a lot of trust and relationship building between them), but at the same time, there is part of me that kind of wants them to have that older sibling bond (except Jason is closer in age to Tim than he is to Dick sooo actually let's just leave older sibling things to Dick and Cass... not that Cass is much older than Jason though so LOL this is why Dick has to lone the oldest sibling thing by himself... which is funny because Dick is technically no longer the oldest sibling, he's a baby brother now... except Dick and Melinda's relationship really hasn't progressed much sooo you could say they share blood but don't consider each other family yet, in which case, Dick is still the oldest... I mean, regardless, Dick is the oldest sibling of the Waynes... god why did they have to make all of this so difficult 😫).

seeing a spate of posts that go like "person A: why can't we have evil women in media / person B: you can't even handle women who are assertive/loud/angry/rude/etc."
and being very aware that netflixvania's carmilla is exactly the kind of unrepentant evil woman those posts are talking about, and i get why people might simply enjoy her for that quality but... i just can't like her in any meaningful way.
that might make me seem like a hypocrite because i famously enjoy games!isaac for being the exact same kind of cruel, bitchy character that's prone to violence at the slightest provocation! (hell, these two have so much in common, characterization-wise, even if they come from complete opposite ends when you examine their motivations. which doubly enrages me that people praise n!carmilla yet still shit on games!isaac since they're essentially almost the same character. but. i digress.)
i think the real sticking point is that they simply didn't develop her character enough, so she presents to me as this really shallow, caricaturized "ALL MEN BAD!!!!!!" feminist stereotype that's been historically used to demonize the entire movement. they try to subvert this by hinting that she has deep trauma about about her experiences that drove her to this state, by way of nightmares being mentioned by morana, and then she herself describing her vampire sire as a "cruel, old, mad man" but like. that's it, nothing substantial. now, i understand the hesitancy to actually show what she went through, whatever it could've been - netflixvania gets absolutely no points from me for being able to tackle what would no doubt be a very delicate topic (but isn't it interesting they're okay with putting their male characters through graphic, on-screen sexual assault, but it's almost entirely framed as titillating voyeurism?)
the more i think on it, the more i believe both her and n!hector's characters could've benefitted tremendously if they just focused on their characters and relationship and nixed the rest of the council. (like i'm sorry but they really do nothing for the plot. i maintain that lenore only exists for fetishy reasons, and striga and morana are just the token lesbian couple)
n!carmilla could've had an interesting character arc where we see her turn into the thing she opposes, driven by her aimless hatred (and we do kind of get that in the show, but it feels so out of left field by that point), where she'd basically take the role of games!isaac in relation to games!hector - she who doesn't rise above the cruelty that was inflicted upon her, while n!hector does in regaining his agency.
if you really want to keep the fact that n!carmilla is just a huge man-hating bitch, and you really need to see n!hector dehumanized, then i think both those things could work together without reducing one character to fanservice.
picture this: the end of S2 still happens, where n!carmilla forcibly drags n!hector back to styria, except instead of being introduced to the council of sisters, we see that the entirety of the styrian castle's inhabitants are female - such is n!carmilla hatred of men that she only allows women in her court. at least, until n!hector gets there.
that setting alone already gives you a million more insidious ways to dehumanize n!hector that don't involve him naked and being beaten half to death, and does more to show n!carmilla's petty hatred and cruelty, resenting men so much but knowing full well she needs hector's skills if she wants her plans to succeed, so she messes with his head while still giving him free roam of the castle (albeit with a very heavily implied "but watch out")
show how her cruelty towards n!hector is directly mirroring her own experiences so we can sympathize with her, but also show that n!hector is just not the kind of guy she should be directing her ire at. really re-frame her not as a "feminazi" stereotype, but a person who has obviously been so broken by their trauma, despite the cool, confident exterior they project.
take advantage of the fact that n!hector is once again a fish out of water, albeit in an entirely different context - where previously he was shunned by humanity for his unnatural abilities, now he's simply hated by the vampire residents for being born the 'wrong' gender. make him connect the dots and realize in both instances he doesn't deserve any of it, and instead of generalizing by throwing in his lot with one side or the other, pick his battles a little more wisely and yes, ultimately decide n!carmilla needs to die by his hand to regain his freedom.
in case it's not obvious, i'm not sparing a thought for how any of this affect's n!isaacs arc - i guess at the end of things, they could have a bit of a role reversal from their game counterparts where, after killing n!carmilla in revenge for everything, n!hector is almost about to succumb to the same hatred n!carmilla did and begin the cycle anew, until n!isaac swoops in, fully intent on killing him but deciding he's suffered enough anyway, and shares what he's learned over his travels. it gets through to n!hector and he stops dead in his tracks - we the audience realize in the instant that n!carmilla is a tragic character, how the only things that might've saved her from her own undoing are like... connection and understanding. something she never got even though she surrounded herself with others seemingly like herself, but it was purely superficial. how this could've been a nice pushback against the radf*m theory of 'sisterhood' in that n!hector probably had more in common with n!carmilla, but because she simply refused to see any kind of common ground in him for simply being a man, shut herself off from the thing she actually needs and sealed her own fate.

As a fellow Dovewing lover, it's frustrating how the fandom watered her down into a whiny brat who never cared about Ivypool. I mean, seriously? Not only did Dovewing care about her sister (reacting in horror when Lionblaze, her own mentor and Jayfeather are willing to potentially sacrifice Ivypool's safety by employing her as her spy instead of trying to get her out of the Dark Forest's clutches, hiding a thorn in her nest to cover for her scarring from her training).
Heck, even the scene where she tries to feed Ivypool her catch during a hunting patrol was demonized because 'she was trying to make Ivypool break the code like SHE does, as if it doesn't matter' and because she got upset when Ivypool started arguing with her! But you guys said she didn't care, right? Plus, people act like being forced into a prophecy is something you should be grateful for, as if it didn't irreparably change her close relationship with her sister? As if Lionblaze and Jayfeather didn't still keep her out of the loop (and for all the fussing they made about keeping it a secret, Lionblaze confesses his power to Cinderheart and Jayfeather doesn't even care).
Meanwhile Nightheart is angry he isn't orange and hates his mom for being exiled and the whole world has to stop for him. 🤪 And Bramblestar is simply so tortured by having an evil father, the only choice is to train with him and his evil half-brother and hide this from his wife! (But remember, it's bad when that witch Squirrelflight hides the parentage of the three from him, even when Blackstar and Leopardstar were still around after being complicit in the torture and killing of halfclan cats.) Why are these male characters sympathized with, even when they actively harm people (Nightheart forcing himself into Sunbeam's life by lying to everyone about being her mate without even asking her if she would be fine with that beforehand), Bramblestar (we all know what he does), but when Dovewing or any other female character is upset, people freak out and call them whiny brats or abusive for (checks notes) asking her partner if he loves her anymore after they argued multiple times in a book. Really makes you think! (Sorry this is so long, you just have based opinions!)
dovewing being characterized as this flighty airheaded vain popular girl stereotype in fanon is like. one of those biggest "we didnt actually read the books" things in the fandom. like theres so much fanart where shes grinning and giggling over the prophecy and shes besties with the trio and shes got preferential treatment, and then in the actual books shes basically the autistic kid no one actually likes. people really, REALLY overexaggerate that one scene where she snaps at ivypaw and brags. (and i dont wanna shit on amvs but i am forever side eying how the animation community handled dove back in the day. more than one person animated her getting murdered. normal.)
i do think its gotten better recently at least. but wow does it feel like at least one person on the writing team has a bone to pick
(also awww thank you <3 no need to be sorry i love getting stuff in my inbox)

Every time that someone credits Taika Waititi for Wellington paranormal - which he had no involvement in - I lose ten years off of my life.
Jemaine Clement is one of my favourite actors and writers and producers and he deserve the credit is is working HARD to deserve.
Edit: wwdits series, too. So much great work
Edit: OFMD, too. Yeah, he’s executive producer. But there was a BOARD of writers, and a creator, and although the fandom was pretty good at crediting Jenkins et al. when I left it, there are so many more people than just Taika Waititi that made the film, which he certainly didn’t do most of, however much I follow his work.

@ed you in the replies on my post then realized that was the worst possible way in the world to communicate with another person. Anyway did you say pathologic TLT AU 👀??
HEHE YES a lot of it is very loose thoughts but I think these series connect so well thematically that it's very fun for me to think about so far what I have is;
Second house: Necro: Aglaya, Cav: Block, not super solid on the placement of these two but the military format fits and I think the idea of a necromancer and cav who don't get along but are Super dedicated to their duty and are both top of their field would be an interesting dynamic
Third house: Stamatin twins, Peter as the necro and Andrey as the cav, these two are so Tridentarii coded it's ABSURD, I think the way they each view the polyhedron would be interesting to transfer towards necromancy, Peter is capable of insanely powerful necromancy but it takes a 'miracle' to achieve it, I also think the parallels between Naberius and Farkhad could be interesting as well so I'd like to throw him in there somewhere, maybe he met Bab's fate earlier on as a botched lytorhood attempt or perhaps Andrey wanted him out so he could be cavalier prime dunno. Not sure if they would become a lyctor or not, I feel like they'd both be all for the process but given how doomed all their projects are I feel like it just wouldn't end up working out, or at least not in the way they want it to
Fourth house: Capella, Khan, and Notkin are all kind of currently rotating positions for this one, I think Capella and Khan's idea that they need to start on this predestined path and be great leaders already despite being literally children and how this indirectly pushes Notkin into that as well is very 4th house like
Fifth House: I think I'm putting Necro Artemy and Cav Rubin here, I think Isidor was the necromancer prime with Rubin as his cav but when he died that got shifted to Artemy, I think his nature as a humble makes Rubin well suited for a cavalier but I think he'd have the same internal conflicts he does normally about Artemy being suddenly given Isidor's role, and Artemy having his same personal journey about his role. I do think Artemy becomes a lyctor though and the more I'm thinking about it is probably one of the better adjusted ones in this au?
Sixth House: Necro Daniil and Cav Eva, you KNOW Daniil would go crazy not only for necromancy in general but the concept of lyctorhood, complete and total mastery over death? Sounds great to him sure hope there aren't any tragic drawbacks! Ultimately I think Daniil isn't capable of becoming a lyctor without a push and I think Eva ends up sacrificing herself for that because she thinks it's their destiny so Daniil ends up getting what he originally wanted but with a lot of guilt attached. On a goofy silly note I think Eva's not actually that good of a cavalier she was just the only one Daniil could get along with
Seventh House: Necromancer Grace is here :) sorry despite this literally being my favorite house that's all I've got dfgdfgkh
Eighth House: Not sure for this one either honestly, leaning towards the Saburovs for their themes of judgement and religious control, regardless I think Katerina in this au is maybe not full on pretending to be a lyctor but definitely still has the issue of trying to seem more powerful than she is
Ninth House: Necromancer Clara and her Cavalier, her twin sister also named Clara isn't that crazy? Nobody's seen the 9th house twins in the same place at the same time and Clara does become a lyctor later on so was she always a lyctor? who's to say. I think in this au the locked tomb contains something more in line with The Powers That Be or perhaps even further The Ones That Executed The Whole Thing but I'm not sure beyond tying it in to Clara's meta awareness, plus she would Thrive in the 9th house's faux Catholicism environment, I know she goes hard with the skull paint
Other Misc Things:
Mark Immortell as John, what if god was a theather kid would that be fucked up or what
Simon was a lyctor and the Kains are definitely doing some fucked up shit to try and reachieve that
I'd like the blood of eden to be in this au somehow and I'd like the fellow traveler to be in this au somehow, that's as far as I've gotten with both those thoughts
I think Lara and Aspity both have a lot of good potential roles in this au I'm just not sure where to put them exactly
any sort of plot stuff is VERY vague rn, canaan house setup at the start I like thinking about and I'd like to tie the sand pest in Somehow
Maybe the polyhedron can host a soul for literal real this time
Anyways this is all extremely messy I just love the way these two series potentially blend together it's very fun for me dkgjdfjg

The most tragic part of my Weird Al obsession is that even if I knew someone who wouldn't judge me for talking about him, I'd never be able to just rant on and on without stopping to explain what I'm talking about.
Like, I know way too much random trivia about this guy's career. And because he's on the more niche side of things that means that I'll probably never find a person who knows anywhere near as much as me.
It pains me to know I can never just say "Yeah, Regular Al is super cursed, am I right?" without then explaining to them what Hanson and MTV Unplugged was and how Al connects to both.
