#having celiac disease is pretty weird #it feels less like I changed and more like my environment did #like all of a sudden everyone started putting poison in everything I want to eat haha #I feel frustrated right now #at how hard it is to avoid cross contamination #everyone’s like there’s no poison in this but you should be aware we may have sprinkled some in by accident #man #it just feels unfair that it’s so unsafe for my body to even eat in a lot of normal environments #obviously I know no one owes me a safe eating experience and I am genuinely so grateful I still have soo many options #and so many businesses are aware of my needs #but it’s hard :( #especially cuz I don’t really have a place to cook rn #so I’ve been experiencing more and more this choice between not eating OR hurting myself via potential contaminants #and a lot of days I end up eating junk that’s not nutritious AND that is potentially dangerous #mg fault for not protecting myself more proactively:( #im realizing I have to try harder .. I’ve been treating myself with less care than I deserve #and I’m scared of getting hurt #wow im really in the mood to longpost about my feelings huh
