Excuse me while I become overly earnest for a moment.

It feels fitting that this was the day that I was finally able to see the film in the cinema after following and promoting it since before it premiered at Telluride (and it only took a 90ish mile journey).

My little independent theater in the middle of the country may not have been the Gala Screening at the BFI in London, but I was there in spirit.

Despite the heavy subject matter, it was an absolute joy to finally see it in a theater, on a big screen, with others, as it was meant to be seen, after I had basically resigned myself to waiting for VOD.

Andrew you are just as astonishing as I knew you would be. It was well worth the wait.
