Nudibranchs- one of the most beautiful order of molluscs

Nudibranchs are an order of marine gastropod molluscs that are often found inhabiting coral reefs, deep sea waters, rocky sea shores and seagrass beds world wide. While they may look like fuzzy, bright gummy worms, they are real creatures.

Appearance

Nudibranchs vary in shape, size and colour, though they are very distinctive and easy to identify because of their unique appearance. Nudibranchs come in a variety of bright and often vivid colours, ranging from vibrant oranges, yellows, blues, and purples to more subdued tones. Their colour serves as a warning to predators, indicating that they are toxic and unpleasant to eat. They have soft, flexible bodies and distinctive shapes, varying from long and streamlined to bulbous and flat, depending on their species. Many nudibranch species have ornate appendages on their bodies, including cerata (finger-like projections), rhinophores (sensory organs resembling horns or antennae), and sometimes even feathery structures.

Defense, Diet and Predators

Nudibranchs have mouths that have radulas in their mouths, an organ that helps them eat. They're carnivorous, often eating sea sponges and cndarians. They steal their stinging cells (nematocysts) from their food they eat, making them toxic to predators who don't spot their bright warning colours before deciding to eat them. When attacked, toxic nudibranchs will discharge their toxins to discourage their predators from continuing.

Breeding

They're hermaphroditic, meaning they can mate with any mature gender of their kind. During mating, mates will inject sperm into each other via penis. Some species of nudibranchs will crawl out of eggs as juveniles while others come out as larvae.

Other facts

-Nudibranchs get their name from the Latin 'nudus' (naked) and Ancient Greek 'brankia' (gills), due to their exposed breathing apparatus

-Scientists are using nudibranchs for medical studies

-They're coloured that way because of the food they eat

-Their size ranges from a few centimetres to 30 centimetres long. The largest British species has been recorded at 20cm long.

-Conservation status: common

Myself

My name is Félix Wybou and I am going to talk about my favourite snack, sweet and candy. It's also something that I would always eat when I'm hungry, I love It! That's why I will give you a bit more information about It.

Sweet and candy

Sweet and candy are two terms often used interchangeably to describe confections that are sugary and delicious. Sweet refers to anything that has a sugary taste or flavor, whereas candy specifically refers to a type of confectionery made primarily of sugar or syrup, along with other ingredients like flavorings and colors. Candies come in various forms such as hard candies, gummies, chocolates, lollipops, and more, and are often consumed as a treat or dessert. While sweet and candy can refer to similar things, sweet can also describe other food and drink items that have a sugary taste, such as desserts, fruits, and some beverages.

Description of the most common ones

Hard candy = These are candies that are made from boiled sugar syrup, and often come in a variety of flavors like fruit, mint, or cinnamon. They have a hard, crunchy texture and are enjoyed by slowly dissolving them in the mouth.

Gummy candy = These candies are made from a gelatin or pectin base, and come in various shapes like bears, worms, or fruits. They are chewy and often have a fruity flavor.

Chocolate candy = These candies are made from chocolate, which is derived from roasted cocoa beans. They come in various forms like bars, truffles, and bonbons, and have a rich, creamy flavor.

Haribo is a German confectionery company that is best known for its gummy candies. Founded in 1920 by Hans Riegel, the company's name is an acronym for its founder's name and the city where it was founded (HAns RIegel BOnn). Haribo's most famous product is the "Goldbears" gummy candy, which was first introduced in 1967 and quickly became popular around the world. Haribo also produces other gummy candies like Happy Cola, Twin Snakes, Peaches, and many more. In addition to gummy candies, Haribo also produces licorice candies, marshmallows, and other sweets. Well, GEOGRAM began its investments by purchasing the largest bioengineering research and development firm in the world in April 2017. The funding allowed us to develop high tech weaponry and equipment. GEOGRAM would ultimately expand internationally during this decade, opening up its first European headquarters in Belgium and Switzerland in February 2018 and patenting hover technology for weapons and vehicles by November 2018 - these would see fruition in a new generation of hover combat vehicles in 2019. In October 2019, GEOGRAM would once again make corporate history, signing the largest ever weapons contract for the US military. Our high end technology allowed us develop our products at a fast rate.

Alright, now that drinks are in, we would like to offer you two some snacks, yet again it is your choice on what you want.

Alright, third and final question, and it might seem a little outlandish at first: I don't suppose you guys have ever heard of something known as "OutWorld", have you? We've been getting messages from people that keep mentioning this strange place that apparently is like medival times or something...? We really don't know what it means, and since we don't have any media that mentions it, we thought you guys might have intercepted something about it that could help us.

As for snacks, I'll have 5 full-sized Mars bars, and a small bowl of sour neon gummy worms.

And I'll have a big bowl of strawberry ice cream. Honestly, I love the stuff, for me, it tastes just like if you could freeze freshly picked strawberries.

Holland tried the big mansion first. That’s what she’d always called it: The Big Mansion, like its grandeur was unheard of. It was just a house, Holland realized that now, but when she was ten -- barely four feet tall, her world no bigger than Silverlake itself -- Aspen’s home was the largest, most impressive fortress she’d ever seen. It looked exactly how Holland remembered it. Even walking up the driveway felt the same, like her backpack was still full of Blockbuster rentals and enough sugar to shock the system. Aspen wasn’t there. Her father was, though. He looked older. Only barely. She wouldn’t have noticed if it hadn’t been literally a decade. Everything else about him seemed exactly the same. Al was as kind to her as ever. Holland wasn’t sure she deserved it then, and she knew she certainly didn’t deserve it now. Still, she was grateful.

Al was happy to direct Holland towards Aspen’s new house, only a few steps down the road. That’s when it became real. They weren’t kids anymore. Holland wasn’t heading to the big mansion to watch movies and shovel gummy worms into her mouth. She wasn’t walking to Aspen, her friend. She was walking towards Aspen, the woman she hadn’t seen in eight years. The friend she’d let down unforgivably, and more than once.

Aspen’s new home was nice. The yard looked cared for. Holland was busy admiring the front walk when the door burst open and Aspen emerged, clearly heading out.

Holland froze dead in her tracks.

Finally, after a very awkward silence, Holland’s raspy voice sounded. “Hey,” she said, too casually. “It’s uh -- it’s -- Long time no see,” she finally settled on, haphazardly chuckling through her nervousness.

“I saw you on my TV and I nearly choked on my cereal.” It sounded like a joke, but it wasn’t.

Ice Cream with the Descendants Headcanons!

A/N: Because I’m dairy-intolerant, I’m putting all my wishes to eat ice cream out here for yous to enjoy!

Mal: Strawberry Ice Cream

Mal, ever since coming to Auradon has been hooked on the sweetness of strawberries. So, it comes as no surprise to you that on your date to the ice cream parlour, Mal ordered the largest bowl of strawberry ice cream she can get her hands on. Complete with strawberry sauce and copious amounts of whipped cream. Although she tries to act tough and full of grit, the truth is she has too big of a sweet tooth.

Jay: Chocolate Ice Cream

The rich taste of chocolate ice cream never fails to make his mouth water. So much so, that his entire attention for the beginning of your date is fixated on scooping as much of it into his mouth as he can. Only once he has finished it all, and only then, does he give you his undivided attention; complete with a chocolate covered smile.

Ben: Vanilla Ice Cream

Vanilla ice cream is classic, classy and all-round tasty. Just like your Prince Ben. Although he loves ice cream, he only absentmindedly eats it on your date; with his whole attention on you. Drinking in your beauty and listening closely to what you have to say. Perfect boyfriend indeed.

Carlos: Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

Soft in flavouring, but an ultimate comfort, the flavour of cookies and cream matches Carlos himself. Being the utter perfect, romantic boyfriend he is, Carlos orders an extra large order of it to share between you - complete with both your favourite toppings. unfortunately he’s not as perfect when spooning ice cream into your mouth - in fact missing your face entirely and dropping a load on your shirt. Oh well, it’s a memory you’ll still cherish... but you’re gonna wash that shirt right?

Evie: Cherry Ice Cream

There’s nothing better after a day of shopping to indulge in some ice cream. Evie goes straight for a bowl of cherry sorbet, rich in depth just like herself. While you won’t let you steal a spoon of ice cream (there’s still some Isle left in her after all) she does let you eat the candied cherry on top. That’s good enough right? But your favourite part of the date - even more the shopping spree - was seeing Evie’s smile smothered in sorbet stains. Even the most graceful of all has some moments to relax and be imperfect.

Harry: Rum and Raisin Ice Cream

While it may not be a flavour for everyone, it’s definitely one for a pirate like Harry. Enough for him to eat more than three cones of it. Turns out his hook came more of a hindrance in his ice cream escapades and it is one of the first times you have ever seen it out of his grasp - placed securely on the table between you; just in hands’ reach. Sure, he may have spent the following hours curled up in bed with a tummy full of too much dairy, but at least it was a day spent together.

Gil: Honeycomb Ice Cream

Undeniably sweet like Gil himself, honeycomb ice cream is one of Gil’s most enjoyed snacks in the world. Especially after leaving the Isle. You cannot help but smile as he chooses a waffle cone covered in chocolate and rainbow sprinkles; with a topping of gummy worms. Your heart swells as he sends you a smile over his ice cream, truly happy with your ice cream date.

Uma: Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream

Although Uma doesn’t like ice cream all that much, being more of a savoury snack girl, she cannot deny your quest to go to the ice cream parlour on your next date. Yet, as a compromise, you take your ice creams to eat in the park overlooking the river. While you are mainly silent while enjoying your much-deserved treats, you heart and smile soars when Uma looks over to you with an aqua blob of mint ice cream stuck on her nose. It’s heartening to know that even cool, cunning, collected Uma can have some fun.

This is the first request that’s done with both Robin and Steve and I really liked the idea! Just in case, this trio of the reader, Robin, and Steve comes up again (it probably will) it will be found in both of their respective master lists with ‘stranger things’ as writing ‘s.h & r.b’ looks wonky to me.

“I swear to God I’m gonna strangle Keith,”

Steve muttered as he wandered back over to you and Robin while you both were perched on top of the counter. You laughed as you pulled out the board — one similar to the board from Scoops Ahoy. You hissed at you added a tally to the ‘Keith’ side of the board as Robin shook her head at the once teenage heart-throb. Thus far, Keith had a good tally of six women that he’s scared away while Steve had a tally of two that he won over — both of which occurred while Keith was sick.

“You’ve lost your touch, Harrington,” You commented, chuckling as you lowered the board behind the counter once more. “Your body count is so unfortunately stagnant,” You puppy-frowned at him while Robin cackled next to you.

“Shut the hell up,” Steve rolled his eyes, turning around and leaning against the counter — somewhat perched but mostly standing. He sighed and leaned his head against you, closing his eyes for a few moments.

“Where am I going wrong?” Steve groaned exaggeratedly, running his hands through his hair. Robin gave a nice pat to Steve’s hand from across you, looking at him firmly.

“Didn’t you learn your lesson last summer, dingus?” Robin snarkily questioned, causing Steve to crack open his eyes and send a glare her way. “You gotta stop acting like you’re the most popular guy in school. If you couldn’t tell, we’ve graduated and working at minimum wage,” She added in with a roll of her eyes.

“Exactly, you don’t have to act cool anymore. Just be good ‘ol Steve,” You chuckled, ruffling his hair with a teasing grin. Steve rolled his eyes endearingly before standing fully, pushing off the counter. He fixed his hair again, making sure he was perfect and hot as can be. He glided away from you both and approached two women, once again reverting to his old ways.

“He’ll never learn,” Robin smirked.

“He really won’t,”

“You ladies down for a movie night?” Steve asked with a grin, looking between you and Robin. Robin gave a simple thumbs-up, and both of their gazes affixed onto you. You pursed your lips, brushing hair behind your ear as you glanced over at Keith.

“I kinda promised Keith I’d stay a little late to help clean up and organize,” You awkwardly drawled, looking back to both Robin and Steve with an upset gleam in your eyes. “It’s only for an hour, but you guys would probably want to start sooner and everything,” You added with a small, almost forced grin.

“Compromise. Steve and I will buy snacks and you supply the movies?” Robin suggested, looking to Steve for an ‘okay’ to the idea. Steve crossed his arms and nodded with a pleased smile, his gaze shifting from Robin and then onto you.

“We wouldn’t have a movie night without you for the world,” Steve commented. Your face flushed slightly, elated that they liked you that much. “We can wait an hour for you, don’t worry,” Steve winked, getting a hum of an agreement from Robin.

“We’ll come back around to pick you up,” Robin stated, causing you to grin brightly.

“Perfect,” You chuckled. Robin glanced down at her watch, realizing that it was time for them to finally clock out after quite an exhausting day.

“Be back for you soon, sweetheart,” Robin teased with a cheeky wink, pushing Steve out of the store.

“I’ll see you losers in a few. Wish me luck,” You saluted the two as they made their way out the door. You walked over to the Rom-Com section of the movies and began to re-sort them alphabetically, glancing over to see Keith fixing up the Sci-Fi section.

There was a pleasant silence between you both while soft music played throughout the store. You hummed along with the music, and it seemed that only now did Keith’s attention fall over to you — as if you haven’t been there the whole time. He kept his mouth zipped for another minute, but you could sense him just staring you down for quite a bit.

“Yes, Keith?” You asked aloud, looking in his direction as he stared you down slack-jawed.

“Which one do you like?” Keith said pretty vaguely, causing you to raise your brows in a confused manner.

“Excuse me?”

“Robin or Steve, it’s obvious that you like one of them,” He pointed out with a roll of his eyes as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. You paused from shuffling the movies, taking a moment to actually think about this.

You weren’t certain of yourself either.

Both Robin and Steve fueled most of the joys in your life, and almost every moment of bliss had been with both of them. The night at Lovers’ Lake was the one you reminisced about the most.

“The stars look like little fireflies,” You giggled as you laid flat on your back — reaching your hands up to the sky and trying to grab at them.

“No, dumbass, they’re like, baby moon bits,” Robin countered with a drunken laugh, rolling over and resting in the crook of your next.

“You’re both wrong! They’re, like, stars,” Steve retorted loudly, staring both of you down with a serious stare. The moment of silence passed and you all collapsed in fits of laughter. Steve giggled and laid on top of you, causing you to laugh even more due to his dramatic fall. The three of you kept rolling around together along the edge of Lovers’ Lake — drinking, singing, and laughing to your hearts’ content.

That night: the alcohol was good, the music was better, and the drunken (but not forgotten) stolen kisses were the best.

Of course, there were your separate adventures with the two, but both were honestly an equal match and you had no preference of whom you liked more — whether platonically or romantically. You had your fair amount of 711 slushie runs with Robin and horror movie dates when Steve would be too scared to watch them, but you also had your long talks over the phone with Steve and your sporadic nights drinking and walking down the abandoned railroad tracks.

Really, you loved them both.

“I don’t have to answer that,” You responded after a short while of thinking, a sly smile on your face but paired with apologetic eyes.

“Ugh, whatever,” Keith groaned, upset to not hear your side of the juicy gossip. You giggled at his complaint and continued sorting for the next hour, the time flies by quickly as you and Keith exchanged the occasional quip about movies while you were fixing them up.

“Hey, we’re back!” Steve called through the store, noticing you in the back chuckling at whatever dumb comment Keith made about Star Wars. He sauntered over to you and swung an arm around your shoulders.

“Ready to jet?” Steve asked with a cute grin, glancing up at Keith for a moment before looking back down to you. You noticed Keith’s dropped expression (as he obviously still detested Steve), but it was followed by a little smirk. You hastily averted your eyes away from Keith.

“Almost, gimme a sec and I’ll join you in a bit,” You told Steve, shooing him out of the store for just a few more moments.

“So it’s Steve, huh?” Keith grinned menacingly, but of course, you brushed him off and began picking up some movies.

“I told you I don’t have to answer to you, even if you are my boss,” You chuckled, picking up The Apartment from the shelf.

“So Robin?” Keith offered once more. You rolled your eyes and walked over to another section, picking up Hidden Fortress.

“No comment!” You replied in a sing-songy manner, finally picking up Children of Paradise. Steve wasn’t the best connoisseur of movies, so naturally, you picked up Robin’s favorites so he can watch some good fucking cinematography.

Before you walked out, you noticed one last movie from the corner of your eye. You smiled to yourself as Steve’s description of the movie rang through your memory. You picked up the movie without a beat and gave one last smile to Keith.

“See you on Monday,” You sweetly chimed before exiting the store with the four movies in hand, strolling to the car with a smile. You hopped into the back seat and immediately Robin turned around to you.

“Cherry slushie, your favorite,” Robin smiled before handing you the large drink. You graciously smiled and eagerly took the drink from her hands — your fingertips gently grazing against her soft hands.

“We also got some gummy worms, chocolate bars, and jiffy pop!” Robin added in with a delighted smile, shuffling through the candies she had stored in the bag. She swiftly turned back around to face forward before shouting, “Drive Harrington! Drive!”

During the car ride to Robin’s place, you couldn’t help but ponder on Keith’s words a little more deeply. You were somewhat bothered by his invasive question, but not in an awful way. You really liked both of them and you couldn’t decide, but that doesn’t mean that you had to choose.

After Back to the Future, you all were already feeling a bit drowsy. It was an oddly cold night in Indiana, and the three of you were bundled in the largest and softest blanket Robin had owned. You claimed the middle spot for personal reasons of your own and felt completely content when Robin wrapped an arm around your waist and both of them laid their heads on your shoulders.

The night ran late and before you knew it, both of your companions fell asleep on you. Robin hugged your torso and Steve ended up lying in your lap. Both slept peacefully, and the sight of them both brought a joy to your heart. They had been asleep for an hour now, and in that time you came to your conclusion in regards to Keith’s badgering question.

You didn’t care for choosing one over the other. You were content with the sweet nothings, friendly holding of hands, and teenage bliss. There was a lot of life to live, and love to give — and it could only be properly spent and expressed with both of them prominent in your life.

You loved them both, and you were content in that.
