2/10 Learnings with Letrece:
-She compared me coming to Flywheel and criticizing it to someone coming to your house and saying you could change some things around
-For me though, I feel I was hired (like an interior designer) to offer my thoughts to make those changes
-I can soften my tone when I know a client really wants something by saying, “How are you planning to incorporate the skylight?” Skylight= something the client said they wanted
-It bothers me when the people I work with don’t remember that the client said they wanted the skylight and don’t include the skylight in their presentations
-I can ask the Client Services team: “How do you all normally prepare for weekly presentations for paid trials?”
-Have the client services team feel like I’m leaning into their expertise by asking how they’ve done things before to make them feel important and not that I’m trying to change their house

If your home office needs a refresh, take note of these design trends. ✨ Soothing colors - soft shades of blue and green are popular in home offices. Warm, comforting hues often boost creativity and productivity and promote serenity and wellness. ✨ Creative use of space - closets, alcoves, dining rooms, and space under stairways are all being transformed into functional home office spaces. ✨ Natural decor - bringing the outdoors inside is in, with woven wall coverings, natural fibers, and a focus on warmth and tranquility. Think wood, rattan, wool, and leather. ✨ Fresh air- pair those natural elements with sheer or no window treatments to bring the outdoors in. If you're lucky enough to have indoor/outdoor space, consider working in your sunroom, screened-in porch, or even outdoors on nice days for an instant mood (and productivity) boost! ✨ Smart tech - add high-speed wireless, wifi boosters, and even extra outlets. Adjustable lighting to help mitigate the effects of extra screen time and wireless sound systems are also trending. Are you working from home? Here's what we recommend:
Introduce yourself to everyone in the office. Don't be afraid to ask questions and make friends—you'll need them!
Find out what projects are coming up, and ensure you're involved in them from day one. The more you can get involved, the better!
Don't be afraid to speak up when something needs fixing! Your boss is there to support you, not just for themselves or theirs.

How to Clear your Mind... Peace is a frame of mind, not a destination. Everyone wants peace - they will spend their whole life trying to find peace and calm, but finding it is so much easier than it seems. The goal isn't to stop thinking... its to train yourself to stop reacting. First you must train yourself to only focus on one thing. There are thousands of ways to learn focus. One of the more simple and gentle ways to train yourself is candle gazing. 🕯 All you need to do is sit in a quiet and dark room, light a candle and watch the flame. Try to measure your breath and watch the flame flicker and still with each breath. Don't breathe towards the fire, it will naturally mirror your breath once you find a rhythm. After some time, you might notice you aren't thinking of anything. That your soft gaze and watching the rise and fall of the fire is all that's on your mind. At this time, you have completed the practice. When you return to your daily responsibilities, you will be more focused and clear headed. #peace #calm #meditation #howtofindfocus #howtoclearyourmind #candlegazing #candle #Wiccan #healing #mindfulness #mindful #stresstips #worktips #worklifebalance #adhd #add #productivitytips #healer #peaceandcalm #corporatewellness #workmotivation (at Seattle, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce9tk0-PtAO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Breaks are a MUST! Your brain needs to pause before it burns out. You shouldn't be sitting all day. You know the drill. Also, when you're working on a project with several moving parts and it seems like nothing is working the way you want it to, a break might be just what you need. After a break, you can see your work with fresh eyes. Just don't break for too long or you'll risk losing steam. Do you take breaks? #WorkFromHomeTips #WorkTips #TakeABreak #MentalHealth #MentalHealthTips #MentalHealthBreaks #SmallBizTips #SmallBizOwnerTips #SmallBizOwnerMentalHealth https://instagr.am/p/CdIq069MQXO/

Planning
Tumblr media
Planning our daily life now is being a very popular thing. So today I want to share with you my method of planning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Google Calendar
The first thing I prefer using is google calendar as it so simplifies my daily life since I don't any more worried about I forgot something. Also, it has a lot of great functions, for example, you can make events and share them with other people, make new tasks, reminders, goals, write notes and etc. I wish I could tell you about all functionality of google calendar, but I think it's will be better if you try just to use it for a couple of days.

Planner
Before I had bought my apple pencil I used a usual planner but after I started to plan on my iPad in Goodnotes as thought I can make my notes much better and cuter. Digital planning for me isn't so important I would like to say it's more for fun as you try to do something beautiful, colorful, and interesting. What is more, it gives me a lot of relaxation like after a good time of painting.
Notion
The notion, it is a huge database with a lot of possibilities you can make. I recommend everyone to watch some videos about the notion as it so usable thing for studying and work too! Here you can also share your projects with a team. It brings your notes, docs, wiki, and project management into one place, and makes all your work customizable! I'm in love with it!
So that's all I wanted to tell you today. Thank you a lot if you read this till the end as it wasn't so easy for me to write such a big text. Have a nice and productive day.

Reduce Your Project Stress
Work related stress is part of the nature of work. Some stress is normal and may reveal areas of process improvement, while others can be self-inflicted.
My goal is to eliminate the unnecessary stress and after working on many different kinds of projects, these few reminders have given me back my sanity when I find myself overthinking and overdoing. Here in this post, I list things to consider to make your project journey easier.

Do you have an advise/tips for finding work for people who are asocial? It seems so silly but I find myself worrying about it often 💛
Hmm when I still was able to work, I did enjoy calling people as a job. Which is funny because irl I will NOT place a call to idk ANYONE because I'm scared asf.
So I didn't work as a telemarketer but I took surveys, but never sold things.
And idk for some reason when it was job wise, I legit had no issue calling when it was related to a job. I did it from home.
So something done from home is a nice thing as example
I'm thinking of other options, and maybe something that is a desk job. But you just do what you are supposed to do. And don't see anyone besides that, and maybe your boss haha.
Working as a self employee could also be handy. As you decide everything.
But tbh.. It's hard..

Hi! I've been reflecting on how to be a better employee/co-worker, and I've been having trouble going above and beyond my regular tasks and connecting with my boss. So I was wondering if you had any tips? In other words, how have you been able to be a "stand out" employee?
Hi! I don't think I'm the most "stand out" employee per se but I do try to go beyond whatever my job description is! I think my biggest advice is make sure you're working for a business that shares similar values to you, because obviously if your values don't match it's going to be quite difficult to be the best employee you can be. I applied to some coffee shops not realizing they had pretty toxic favoritism among their employees and I'm really glad I didn't get that job because I would've hated that honestly.
That aside, here's my general tips on professionalism in the workplace and how to always give 100% even when you don't feel like it:
Always tell whoever you work with good morning when you get to work and have a good night when you leave.
Check-in with your coworkers and bosses! Go beyond the "how are you?" and work towards guiding questions that allow them to open up if they feel as though they need to. Hold space for the people you work with as you never know what they may be going through.
Always show up early to work when you can and make sure everything is in it's proper place when you leave.
When you finish your regular tasks, are you able to assist others with their tasks to make their work go a little more smoothly? Always do that when you can!
I think those are my general tips that I've learned over the years. I hope these help, I'm not an expert lol.
