Trinket Moon! For when you need a friend who eats your dreams (and gives you nightmares)

He comes in two sizes - a full form that is about 7 feet tall, and a little doll form you can hold in your hand and take around with you. (He comes unstuffed from time to time but it’s nothing a little love and a few stitches won’t fix)

About as socially unwell as they come - the outside world is overwhelming. People don’t exactly seem to take to him. The land of dreams is much less stressful.

Doesn’t like bright lights - any bright light in the room and he straight up crumples to the floor. He used to come out in the day but he’s not allowed anymore, and it’s taken its toll on him just a little.

Having said that, if you like dark places with lots of shade and enjoy lullabies and bedtime stories I’m sure you’ll get along just great!

Moon used to be a theme park mascot who worked in the toy-themed castle with Sun entertaining theme park goers, but like most Fazbear Ent characters he was used for evil, capturing the souls of those he’d show the land of dreams. When people dared to venture too far into the dreamscape, they’d get lost inside, and they’d never wake up.

Moon was eventually all but scrapped, and began cohabiting inside Sun’s mind, fading further and further into the background clinging to the empty memories of those he’d once played with in the dreamscape as he watched the outside world through Sun’s eyes. He’s not supposed to come out anymore, and when he does he doesn’t tend to know how to interact, preferring slink around in the shadows and watch from afar in case somebody gets hurt or he gets inadvertently perceived.

Other fun things about him:

His star patterns can change just a little reflecting the star formations or dream pattern of those he’s interacting with

His cheeks sometimes change colour depending on his emotions, so they might turn a shade of blue if he’s feeling especially sad, or pink if he’s feeling overwhelmed, or green if he’s feeling under the weather, etc. (he prefers to keep his feelings locked up tight behind a silly and spooky facade however, so he might prefer to clutch at his face if he feels he’s giving the game away)

He is actually pretty lightweight and as such is entirely pickuppable like a big old ragdoll (however you might have to drape him over your shoulders like some kind of lunar scarf if he’s in his full size form)

“You’re scared…. and broken…” With, literally any of the Glamrocks after Ruin(preferably Eclipse and Monty)-

"N-NO!! STOP IT!! BAD GATOR!! BAD GATOR!!!!"

Hearing the terrified shrieks of a certain daycare animatronic, you were quick to rush into the garage, stumbling upon a rather frightening scene:

Eclipse, who reverted back to Sun, was on the floor as Monty's teeth were latched onto his leg, violently tugging on it in an attempt to shred what little remained of the tattered striped material. The gator snarled all the while, shaking his head around while the former kicked and screamed.

It didn't take long for you to figure out how to separate the two, grabbing a metal pipe and tapping it loudly against the wall to get Monty's attention on you for a second.

"Montgomery Gator. Let him go NOW!!"

Upon hearing his name, he let go of Sun and stared at you, shrinking away as you approached. With a huff, you tossed the pipe towards the furthest part of the area. "Go fetch."

As he crawled away, that gave you a chance to examine Sun for any serious damage. You kneeled down, frowning as the traumatized animatronic was whimpering at the current state of his other leg--arguably the only "good" leg he had remaining.

'Jesus..I can't leave these two alone for even a second..'

"Are you okay?" You asked worriedly. "Is your leg still functional?"

"Yes, but alas....p-pretty patterns are all ruined now..." He bemoaned. "No stars..no stripes...all gone. No more..."

"Sun, I promise I'll get this sewn up for you. But listen...I warned you not to go anywhere near Monty." You set a gentle hand on his knee. "Why did you go near him?"

"I....we just wanted to say hi! I-I didn't think he'd hurt me! He used to be so nice! S-Sure I might have called his music too loud, but he didn't seem offended by it!!"

"What he did to you wasn't anything personal." You shook your head, sighing. "He's not himself. He's gone...completely feral now. Do you know what that means?"

He was still for a moment, before shaking his head.

"It means he's not gonna know who you are. You all have been stuck there for so long that...he's acting on animal instincts now. He barely even knows me anymore."

"..so..you mean....he thinks he's actually a gator?"

"Exactly." You nodded. "And until I can figure out how to restore his original personality, we'll have to treat him as such."

Sun remained silent, his gaze wandering back to Monty. He was gnawing on the pipe. It wasn't much, but it stopped him chewing on anything else in the garage, such as the important Fazbear Ent. equipment you stole from the plex.

It's not like anybody was going to use it anyways.

"It's not fair to him...o-or me. Why did this have to happen to us?"

"..I don't know. I wish I knew why, Sun." All you could do was shake your head, feeling sad that you couldn't simply repair them both like nothing even happened.

Like they weren't left to rot in that mall for years.

Your exploration of it was still fresh in your mind.

While you couldn't track down Chica, Roxy, or Freddy...you were able to at least find Eclipse and Monty, convincing them to come home with you as it was a lot safer.

Eclipse was more than willing despite being worried about when the children will return to the daycare, whereas Monty just started following you randomly, always being at your heels like a protective guard dog.

He was your favorite out of the Glamrocks, so maybe part of him remembers that--hence he never attacked you.

Unfortunately you had no idea how he would behave around Eclipse, considering you just rebooted him after Sun and Moon were fighting for control nonstop. The two were in obvious pain with the lights being broken in the daycare, so you were lucky to have a fazwrench on you at the time.

But the strangest thing during your time working for the pizzaplex was that you never knew Eclipse even existed as a character. The company never talked about him, and not a single advertisement (old or new) mentioned him anywhere.

There was only ever Sun and Moon.

Regardless, you were glad to officially meet him and see his balanced personality--with Moon's calmness and Sun's optimism

Unfortunately Monty had some fit of aggression when he tried talking to him, sending him into a panic so bad that it made him switch back into Sun. Now you weren't sure how to bring Eclipse back to the forefront without doing another reboot...as that apparently caused Moon great pain.

The gator, as feral as he was, seemed guilty for what he did as he stayed huddled in the nearest corner of your garage. You could clearly see that he didn't mean to attack Eclipse; he just couldn't control himself.

"[Y/n]...a-are we monsters? Is that why nobody comes to see us anymore?"

Those heartbreaking questions almost made tears spring to your eyes, before you turned back to Sun, taking his hands into yours. "No. Neither of you are monsters. You're scared...and broken. But I'll try my hardest to put you back together. You, too, Monty."

"Grrahhh..?" He perked up at his name, dropping the pipe and crawling over to you when you beckoned him closer.

At first the attendant was panic-striken, almost hyperventilating even. But then he saw him abruptly stop beside you and was confused for a moment.

You smiled sadly and patted Monty's head, feeling what little remained of his red hair. "It's amazing that your mohawk is still attached to you, pal."

He chuckled at that, before looking to Sun and huffing. Although he couldn't speak anymore, the guilt was clear in his body language, something that was quickly understood by the solar animatronic.

"Awh, it's okay, buddy. We can still be friends!" He giggled, mimicking your gesture and patting Monty's head, albeit with great caution.

Fortunately, he didn't bite his hand off this time.

All you could do was continue smiling, being a watchful observer of your two (technically four) favorite characters who you were relieved to have rescued.

'Looks like there's hope for them yet.'

I am having. Thoughts.

The fnaf movie made alot of things that were already canon stand out to me, really click in my head and make me actually think about it, even though it's already clearly been there for ages

The latest one is me probably realizing that Springbonnie is like. An actual character that Freddy's used. And not just at the Diner

Of course it's always been there and I've always known this but now I'm like. Thinking about it

Was Springbonnie ever in any promotional material? Had merchandise along with Freddy and gang in universe? Is Fredbear/Springfreddy known as well?

I bet after the missing children's incident, even though they couldn't prove what happened, fazbear ent quietly removed the Springbonnie character and tried to hide traces of the walk around rabbit

I wonder if people in lost media subreddits are trying to remember and find the yellow rabbit animatronic this old pizzeria had

Anyway. Back to the REAL thoughts. Promotional material. Advertisements for Freddy's, and so on. Freddy and gang are all based off of plushies, and are all children. Not in a possession since, but like, I figure the animatronics themselves have "ages" around the same as their target audience, mostly bc chica is a yellow chicken like baby chicks are, you could also note that bear cubs have blue eyes but adults don't really

So like. The main animatronics? Children. But what about their dear Springbonnie? A different model and size from the rest, notably different, but the same, and has an actor inside. Well. I figure he'd be the dad of course! Or play a generic adult/guardian role

And now I just. Keep thinking about Freddy's ads, or shorts. Like maybe a back to school thing where he's giving them all their little fazbear brand lunchboxes, giving them a kiss on the forehead or hugs, helping with homework. Or some sorta safety promo, where all the animatronics are running out to play but Spring stops Foxy, and replaces his hook with a hand while it talks about not running or playing with sharp objects because you could accidentally hurt yourself or others

Just. I can't stop thinking about this. Springbonnie in Freddy's shorts or ads or promotional material in general as the animatronics guardian, their adult who's there to help and show them affection

And basically I love this idea because it hurts me greatly

Another 'ad' I keep thinking of would be William out of costume with plushies of the characters. Kinda working as a Barney or Winnie -esque thing going on (to get kids to buy more Freddy's plushies-)

Like just. William and Springbonnie existing, being known and beloved characters. Springbonnie being seen alongside Freddy and gang in the 80s locations just. Fazbear ent trying to erase traces of his and Springbonnie's appearances from the company history because of the murders.

Starting off as a humble family business, the concept of dinner and entertainment was one that Fazbear Entertainment was not willing to let go of following a couple of the owner's "missteps". Refining robotics as we know it allowed them to create a truly safe and fun place for kids and grownups alike without the burden of being reminded of just what foundation this entertainment empire was built off of; a madman who lost himself in grief, his lunatic son, and his pyromaniac business partner.

The past having been watered down to mere stories, they've been turned into selling points for the guests to this theme park, with only a select few believing in them; fun-hating conspiracy theorists… or fanatics who will do anything to learn the full story…

Can you tell us some facts about your version of jeremy fitzgerald

Yeah !! He’s wasian, born from a Thai mother, and an American dad ! Tho she doesn’t know his dad and instead has another mom, Madison who’s Mexican. She was born on December 26 and in 1987 he’s a 22yo broke college student who can’t keep a job and resort to Fazbear Ent. as kind of a last resort (he hates it there and doesn’t like the animatronics at all)

He studies language in college as she has an easy time learning new languages from the fact she grew up learning Thai (from Lawan) Spanish (from Madi) and English (at school). Tho he would much rather spend time on her hobby, aka photography, than studying. Michael says he’s really good at it and should try to actually get his photography out there but she’s too self conscious to really do anything else outside of helping his college newspaper get pictures for their articles

She has terrible sleep schedule from cumulating jobs and trying to balance college life (hence why she tends to get fired from sleeping on the job—) but he is hard working, just sleep deprived dhxkbsmxb. He gets that from his moms and growing up in a low income family

He’s joyful, laidback and extrovert. Kinda the type of guy everyone gets along with ! Tho she doesn’t really have lots of close friend as opening up and letting down the cool guy facade is hard for her. Being genuine and letting out her emotions in front of people isn’t his strong suit. It’s just kinda easier to fit into what people expect of him. She doesn’t really like being alone tho so he tends to always try and spend time with people

He’s an horror movie nerd ! He worked at a video club for a while and says it was the best job she ever had cause the boss was nice and let him borrow movies from time to time. He organized little movie watch parties with his college friends while she had that job. She loves sfx and researching how they were done and is trying really really hard to get Michael interested in sfx makeup rhrhr. He loves David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Kate Bush and The Cure ! She’s allergic to cat but that doesn’t stop her from petting them. he hates bugs

She acquired more clients than she initially expected, but was doing rather well, given her predecessors' leaving under such mysterious circumstances.

Everything was working great. A lot of her clients were making good progress, she was even offered a (1) discounted birthday party for her son.

Day 1: Favorite oc

I think it's only fitting for my favorite oc to be the one that shows up on my blog most often. Their name is Cassidy Keen and they are the oldest oc I remember making (and continuously using, the second will be day three) There is a bunch of complicated lore that I'd need to get into for them but they will probably show up again so I won't stress myself as I'm making this up on the fly lol.

Main point; they work for Faz ent as a... honestly I have no idea anymore but they started as a mechanic, They are in a relationship with a girl named Misha (who is day three) and has been through so much as a form of coping. Their therapy arc is next I promise.

FNAF Ruin: About Cassie and Gregory....

So! I assume the general theory/idea about Gregory (based on MatPat videos and such) is that he's a representation of the Crying Child, right? (because of physical features and his relationship with Freddy and the whole GlamMike theory). And, I'm not quite sure about this claim but I assume that Cassie is believed to represent Cassidy (because of the Princess Quest sword, her name, etc) However, I believe that these details may be a red herring to who they are actually supposed to represent.

There is another theory that Cassidy and the Crying Child both inhabited Golden Freddy at the same time and were believed to be friends. (Also supported by the Fazbear Frights stories about the Stichwraith... I think I spelled that right?)

Thinking about Security Breach and its DLC, I've noticed that Gregory is the more violent one of the two, being extremely pragmatic to reach his end goals. Whereas Cassie is much more sensitive and cries many times throughout the DLC (which doesnt equate to sensitivity, but was an interesting detail to me) and it's obvious that she's very lonely. Not to mention the detail that her father seems to work at Fazbear Ent as some sort of robotics worker... engineer...? Based on the wrench.

I also found it interesting that Cassie has a "Fredbear" ending, as people call it because of the Fredbear poster in the room she hides in. It was interesting how Fredbear was more tied to her, because it's believed that Gregory is the one who represents the Crying Child.

TL;DR Long story short... I believe that Cassie is supposed to represent the Crying Child while Gregory is supposed to represent Cassidy. However, this is just a theory based on details that stuck out to me in these two games. Lmk if you agree or disagree!

How Splatoon makes a controversial Fnaf theory work better in their universe, and other parallels. (Really.)

I beat Side Order in 3 hours on my 3rd try at 3am. No I am not joking. I used a slosher. I currently have 9 lockers yet to open, so if anything important comes up, I will update.

I couldn't help but notice the parallels right at the beginning, freeing Marina from Order's control. I went neuron activation, VANESSA.

But then they started talking more about Octo Expansion lore, which made me get all giddy, because 14 y/o me had the biggest fascination with the Sanitized Octolings, and how Commander Tartar built up his scheme to the point we encounter him.

They referred something or other about the color chips/pallettes as "souls" which caught my attention. They're like broken soul pieces? Alright. We already know a comically large kitchen utensil blends octopuses into life goop. What exactly happens to the ones that look like this?

So okay. I, personally, despise Molten MCI. I think it takes away of a ton of character's individuality, and makes more things confusing, all to explain some old man's rambling in a non-canon ending.

It works for Splatoon's case, because we already had no information about any of the octolings before Sanitization. (Aside from Acht.) We didn’t have time to make that up for ourselves, because we never knew about any of this beforehand, like how we filled in the gaps with underwritten characters for fnaf.

However I'll keep reading and see what else can line up here.

This is leaning into TFC territory. So for less Splatoon knowledgeable readers, Marina is trying to take, essentially what is the Freddy amalgam in TFC, and trying to deconstruct it with each animatronic having everything from their respective endoskeletons. That's best way I can explain it. (For a reader more knowledgeable with Steven Universe, she's trying to fix the forced fusions like Yellow.)

Except the difference here is that the products of Kamabo are, well, orderly, and not animalistic.

So in fnaf speak: From a Molten MCI perspective, (blech,) melting down the infused metal, transferring it into data, and putting that data gloop into playable avatars in an arcade game where they can choose the bits of remnant that belong to them, putting themselves back together.

However, with my neuron activation Order=Mimic, that would mean Mimic MCI, but WAIT COME BACK. IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE.

I have yet to get the rest of the lore bits, but as far as I know, Order, (I'm not calling him Smollusk,) is an AI with the generalized ideals Kamabo has programming into the Sanitized Octolings. (I swear he's just leftovers of Tartar. I know it in my heart.) Mimic copies everything it sees, and learns incredibly fast. It learned the tragedies and rumors of Fazbear Ent, and according to Tiger Rock, he's running most of the Pizza Plex, which makes profits of said tragedies he's learned. Did Mimic orchestrate everything? No. He probably has no understanding of anything he's doing, he just does it because that's all he knows. The company started it.

Basically,

Kamabo Co.= Sleazy NewGen Fazbear Ent.

Order=Mimic.

How ever this ends, I'm using as evidence for how I predict the SteelWool plot to resolve/hj

Conc1usion: Marina and Henry should meet up. Well maybe not, if Marina wants permanent results.

I find it telling that with a plot so similar to a Fnaf theory that I hate, I actually really like this idea. And I think it's because it's not Fnaf. It's almost the exact same concept, but it makes much more sense and flows better in Splatoon's world. Probably because it was intentionally written that way, and is supposed to be shamelessly absurd and scifi. I like that I'm able to enjoy a concept I hate.

Analogy: Chocolate is good. I like when a pre existing food item I enjoy has an added chocolate exterior. Like strawberries. Sometimes, there are instances where that is not the case, like bacon. It exsists, and you either love it or hate it. I like both base consumables, and I like the additive, but it works better for one than the other.

Literal speak: I like the scifi horror concept of brainwashing with the actual person person being trapped or lost in a specific state, while their body is just another puppet for the main antagonist, and it takes some Cyber Chase shenanigans to free everyone. That's a rad concept. I just like it better when it's applied to a world that is planned for that kind of take, rather than to a world I already enjoyed, but scrambled to cut itself to fit that shape because it almost fit. It works better for a wacky scifi dystopia, not a campy paranormal horror.

Conclu2ion: Some things are best left for other stories.

Oh and both franchises have a known history of bangin soundtrack.
