😂 What’s the funniest comment someone has left on a fic of yours?

Years ago for a PiP, I wrote this fic called Manners of Sex Ed which is about Effie believing Everlark are sleeping together on the Victory Tour and gives a thorough sex ed talk to them. It was meant to be silly and Effie not being 100% factual, but someone left a thorough comment (It might have been on fanfiction.net) about how I was scientifically wrong about how babies are made. 😂

🙅‍♀️ What is one trope you refuse to ever write?

I don't want to say never, because I'm a mess of a person and will do what I want with my interests, but I don't see myself ever writing the gender bender trope (Like making Katniss a man or Peeta a woman for the story). I'm really boring and see them as canon depicts them. So that one. And then the main couple not ending up together. Like what's the point of all that character/relationship build up for them not to end up together????

👀 Do you have any words/phrases you use habitually? 

I definitely do, but of course none come to mind at the moment. I only notice it as I'm writing (but weirdly never when I go back to old works and reread them?). I feel I use the words "tries/tried" a lot and smile(s). #wordsarehard

Words Are Hard

I work at my college’s registrar’s office and often find myself answering phone calls. One time, a lady calls and asks if the classes she signed up were confirmed. The following classes had the initials: BADM, PSYCH, and ENGL. I read them off for her to make sure all of them were there and for a hot second, I almost said BDSM instead of BADM.

I live in fear for the day I screw that up.

Characters: Two exhausted college students and a confused cashier.

Plot: Two college students that just finished their exams head to a city an hour away. They decided to make a quick food stop when they realized they were famished. A cashier greets them and has an interestingly quirky interaction.

*Enter College student A and B*

A: Do you feel like getting a smoothie?

B: Hmm, yeah sure, why not.

Cashier: Hi, when you're ready.

A: I'll have a large fries and...what are your smoothie options?

Cashier: We have strawberry banana mango pineapple.

A: I'm sorry, could you repeat that?
