“Almost a year ago, a 22-year-old girl named Mahsa Amini was killed by the morality police bc they didn't like she was showing her hair and the whole country erupted in protests. We thought we were going to overthrow the regime this time.
We were wrong.
The revolution didn't happen. We lost so many people. Thousands of people are in prison. And now the morality police is back on the streets. Kidnapping women who refuse to wear hijab and shoving them into the very same vans that killed Mahsa. It's like we're back where we started. But with so much loss and trauma.
I want to scream. But i feel I've been shoved into a bubble where every sound has been muted. I try to distract myself but the pain is relentless. I don't know how much of this pain and humiliation i can take.
And the world moves on. we are stuck here” @matarsack

And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.

Have you ever thought about this?
In 100 years like in 2123 we will all be buried/cremated.
Strangers will live in our homes we fought so hard to build, and they will own everything we have today. All our possessions will be unknown and unborn, including the car we spent a fortune on, and will probably be scrap, preferably in the hands of an unknown collector.
Our descendants will hardly or hardly know who we were, nor will they remember us. How many of us know our grandfather's father?
After we die, we will be remembered for a few more years, then we are just a portrait on someone's bookshelf, and a few years later our history, photos and deeds disappear in history's oblivion. We won't even be memories.
If we paused one day to analyse these questions, perhaps we would understand how ignorant and weak the dream to achieve it all was.
If we could only think about this, surely our approaches, our thoughts would change, we would be different people.
Always having more, no time for what's really valuable in this life. I'd change all this to live and enjoy the walks I've never taken, these hugs I didn't give, these kisses for our children and our loved ones, these jokes we didn't have time for. Those would certainly be the most beautiful moments to remember, after all they would fill our lives with joy.
And some of us waste it day after day with greed, selfishness and intolerance.
Every minute of life is priceless and will never be repeated, so take time to enjoy it, be grateful for your life, and celebrate your existence.

☀️Verse of The Day☀️
2 Timothy 3:1-17
Timothy is explaining the Last Days (today's era) and how people will begin to act and how dangerous the culture will become. Through verses 1 - 9, these behaviors will become prevalent and that we should avoid it and avoid dabbling into it.
Verse 12 links with Sunday Notes 5/14/2023 in discussing Christians will undergo hardships. But as 1 Corinthians 13:11 explains, we must increase our maturity in Christianity to withstand the hardships in a faithful and holy way instead of complaining and having pity parties.
REMEMBER:
Do not covet. You do not need that mansion on TV or that high status and lots of money. You do not need that.
Do not gossip/backbite. This is a form of witchcraft.
Do not murmur. This means, do not spread rumors.
🌻CHALLENGE OF THE DAY🌻
Pray for your enemies, politicians, and those that traumatized you! Do not speak ill of them! Do not think evil thoughts of them! Pray!

I write notes during church. I'm going to share them.

"Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you."
🌈 1 Peter 2:1-2
When getting into the Word, actively stop malice, evil speaking's, envies, all negative actions. These need practice.
When [Satan] plants a thought, sweep it away. This regards anxiety - induced thoughts and intrusive thoughts.
To really understand the Word, you gotta keep HEARING and READING it. Over and over. Gotta go to church and read and listen to audio away from church.
🌈1 Corinthians 13:11
Cynicism comes under this [chapter and verse]. Stop being this way and grow in the Word of God. Not everybody has an ulterior motive. Also, stop being bothered by what everyone does. Focus on improving you.
Stop getting back at people -- ignore it. Stop being "big and bad". Grow up.
Christians are supposed to be the "weirdos" in today's society. We are not supposed to fit in with the culture. This is being holy.
Christianity = hardships. The mature response to hardships is to praise God that He chose you which causes [Satan] to target you. Say:
"I'm going through some tough times right now but that's okay because I know my Father chose me and I'll be alright. Back off, evil -- Jesus is with me!"
5 Ways God Speaks To You:
Audibly (Moses for example)
Through trials and tribulations (Job for example)
Through people (only certain trusted sources though -- be wary of false teachers and dogma practicioners
Through dreams and visions
The Bible (most common way)
If something is planned, always suffix the plan with "Lord willing." If something doesn't happen as planned despite your preparations, the Lord didn't want it to happen. Don't get angry -- be thankful.
As Christians, we must acknowledge that although many activities are not sinful, they do not glorify God. For example:
Going to secular concerts
Dressing skimpily
Smoking
and so on...
Think of it this way: you'll know all the lyrics to your favorite rock song but you don't know the lyrics to a hymn. Or, you'll pay $175 for concert tickets but don't give $20 for tithes. Or, you'll know everything about your favorite series, but not know the Bible.
🌈Galatians 5:11
When someone of faith (believers in Jesus) is doing something against Christ, do not condemn, isolate, torment, etc, that person. With meekness, kindness, and love, help them back up. Restore them. Don't punish them. Love covers faults. Faults are not sinful!
