Do you sometimes see a woman wronged by The Men for like her looks or other bs and you can only think damn. The women lovers would eat her alive. Worship her.

I love women who don't mince their words. I love when women are loud and enforce their boundaries. I love when women are rightfully upset. I love when women hit people who invade their personal space. I love women who know women don't have to be nice all the time. I love women who understand that we get angry just like everyone else.

♥︎ You are not a "Fake Trad" for treating your children equally regardless of their gender.
♥︎ You are not a Fake Trad for attending college.
♥︎ You are not a Fake Trad for working before having your children.
♥ You are not a Fake Trad for also being a true Feminist.
♥︎You are not a Fake Trad for not forcing your views and preferences on all women.

Some people think we are out there to force our opinions, views and our personal preferences on everyone else but really we know that what works for us isn't for everyone.

WOMEN REPRESENTATION IN VATANIM SENSIN
I recently finished watching the Turkish series Vatanim Sensin (or Wounded Love). I found very interesting the representation of female characters in this show, especially how they chose to represent a variety of strong women, all strong in different ways. Whether they were on the "good side" or the "bad side", eventually they all showed strength and power: Yildiz, Hilal, Havva, Veronica, Eftelya, Hasibe, Efsun, Emine, Kara Fatma, Seher, Lucy Adams, Halide Edip and many others. However, now I'd like to focus on the character of Azize. Azize won my heart. She always showed such courage and strength of character that made me admire her ever more so as the show went on. She raised three children on her own and took care of her old mother-in-law while working to earn the money to survive. She never asked for permission to do what she believed to be right and no one could stand in her way or make her change her mind when she was already set on something. Her high sense of morals pushed her to help whoever she could even at the risk of her own safety. She endured an awful lot of pain, but that never broke her. She always found a way to rise again from the ashes and prove the world that "women can do everything if they want to". Nevertheless, I would minimize too much the complexity of her character if I reduced everything to a matter of women empowerment: she was a woman deeply in love with her husband, loyal and protective towards her country and her friends, fierce when it came to protecting her children. She never took into consideration coming to compromises with her morality and always firmly believed in the necessity of showing kindness and understanding. In her confrontations with men of power, she never backed off, never lost ground. She showed confidence and pride, which often led those hostile characters to form a sort of reluctant admiration and respect toward her (General Vasili, General Filipos, Charles Hamilton...). The confidence and inspiration her character gave me personally are unbelievable, maybe because I saw a bit of my mother in her, or maybe it was just that I yearn to become as strong and independent. The lesson she taught me is that women with strong personalities and principles may not always have an easy life, but in the end, however it turns out, they will regret nothing because they always stayed true to themselves. I don't know who needs to read this but we are all strong and strength shows in different ways, just stay true to yourself and to your conscience and you'll never have to regret anything.

Trans women who have sought out or want to seek out things you associate with womanhood, I wish you safety and pride.
Cis women who have examined yourselves and found that you are happy with your assigned gender, I wish you happiness and peace.
Women with more complicated genders who have found an identity that fits you, I wish you confidence and reasons to smile.
Women who find joy in your womanhood, I'm so glad for you. I wish you good things.

As an adult, I remember hating my body when I was younger, whether because of self-hating due to my race, body type, bra size, or because I'm female. There were so many nights I went to sleep wishing I'd wake up White, or wake up with a thicker body or bigger bra size, or that I would wake up and miraculously be male. I still remember how deep that self-hatred ran
Now, I've come to accept and even love myself, and I'm more educated on the positives and grand benefits there is about being female. I've been fortunate enough to surrounded myself with wise women, girls who continue our foremothers' fight for our rights, Black women, and other feminists and womanists, and even participated in females-only sports
And because I know the brighter, positive, empowering better side of seeing yourself, it's so sad to see the increase of girls who consider being "not like other girls" a good thing, who desire cosmetic surgery, chasing the Instagram filters looks, or who try so desperately to disconnect themselves from their female bodies (as if that'll ever be possible) even at the risk of living a delusion, or who are still so convinced in gender roles (that a defining characteristic that someone is feminine then that person must be female, which obviously isn't true. There are masculine and androgynous women because this isn't a requirement/being feminine is a choice)
It's understanding where the regressive, sexist, and self-hating thinking originates since we live in the misogynistic world and the over-sexed way females are constantly broadcasted, but that doesn't make it reasonable. It shouldn't be this way. Nature constantly shows there's so many benefits of being female; it's the patriarchy society (that needs to be torn down, in my opinion) that sells the lie that being female is a negative and that same society is what's oppressing us worldwide. And, no, the best attribute of being female isn't that we're able to grow children; we're more complex than just that

i spent years being ashamed of my period. feeling like an open and unclean body leaking vulgar black blood everywhere.
eventually my cycle has stabilized, though i still experience painful cramps and nausea from time to time, it’s just a part of my life as a woman. and i can look at the dark drops seeping into the shower drain and think, this blood connects me to each and every woman of this world. this blood connects me to the Mother Moon.
and it belongs only to me, only to females. no man, no matter how dedicated or perverted, will ever be able to emulate our periods. it deserves to be celebrated.

the most helpful thing i have ever seen from neurodivergent internet spaces is “THERE ARE OTHER TIMES OF DAY TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH”. this has genuinely saved me from executive dysfunction spirals so many times.
