Power pose in an art studio (aka my favorite place)💪✨ I’m coming up on my last month in this sweet Austin studio, and I’m savoring the days here 💘 this residency has been an intentional reset and time for healing a broken heart/fractured life; it has also been an opportunity to recover from the busiest and hardest years of my career. I think so many of us were hammered by the pandemic, in a multitude of ways—you guys, what really happened? I was fearful, and busy, and I did everything I could to cope. Honestly in many ways I flourished. But this weird sense of total whiplash and confusion is at the edges of my psyche (like: are we ok? Am I ok?). I don’t have an answer yet, but I’m still asking myself and the universe some big, big questions and spending extra time listening for the answers.
