"What brings you here of all places?" The Witcher asked, looking up from sharpening his sword, amber eyes setting on Viola. He was curious of course; and didn't regard her as an enemy. Witchers only killed monsters after all, and as far as Geralt could tell, Viola wasn't a monster.

Thyra grunted as the Witch Hunter shoved her against the wall. Some of her wares falling from her basket- little glass vials that shattered and broke. Her stormy gray eyes glared up at the dh’oine who was gripping her arm so tightly.

“Release me I’ve done nothing wrong.” Thyra said in a firm voice, all this man was a giant bully. Literally speaking the man was easily twice her size.

“I don’t think I will, your kind aren’t welcome here knife ear. And who’s to say you’re not a sorceress… Carrying suspicious vials and what not.” The Witch Hunter said in an arrogant voice, only making Thyra frustrated.

“I am a simple herbalist and healer- they are tinctures and salves now please let me be on my way!”

The last layers of white snow had melted, flowers of all types slowly growing back as the winter faded.

The spring has arrived and with that, many monsters would awake from hibernation.

For a witcher, that was good news.

Slow clip clop sounds could be heard, ontop of the horse sat a white haired man.

Exiting Kaer Morhen, a place he calls home, the wanderer would travel south in hopes to come across new contracts.

After spending the winter at home, the mutant's inventory was now full, items like potions, bombs, oils, his swords sharpened, brand new arrows and enough food for his trip.

The weather wasn't exactly the best, it started off with a beautiful and warm sunny morning but has he stepped on Redanian soil land, the temperature dropped,the sky decorated with darker clouds and judging by how the wind danced, a small storm approached too. Typical .

He knew he had to make a stop, allow Roach to rest, feed her and of course, he would take a break too.

Time went by fast and the sun already set behind tall mountains, the crescent moon now illuminating his path.

In an area where there was no sign of humans and/or monsters, the mutant could finally stop.

Near a small lake, he has set his campsite.

Gathering dry logs, he'd use 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐲 to fire em' up.

As the campfire leaves the witcher warm whislt Roach rested nearby, the mutant would take his free time and enjoy a nice meal, roasted goat steak, some fruits and bread, accompanied with a bottle ( or more) of ale.

It's times like this where one can see how the path of a witcher is nothing but lonely but it was the path he was meant to walk. He's not complaining, to say the least and he's not entirely alone either.

Roach might be just a mare but its also his best friend. A true companion.
