Today...is a very special and important day for me, folks~💝😊Three years ago, a certain special troll became the highlight of my 2020 during rough times and immediately won my heart from the moment I knew he would have his own destiny and journey to find others like him...and his family. Since the first Trolls movie, I have always admired dearly him from afar and the moment I saw him during the Trolls World Tour trailer, my heart literally poured out him and I have truly loved him for just being his wonderful, lovable self ever since~💘🥹 And that certain special troll, is none other than...Cooper~💗🌈✨

I have always been a big fan of him and he’s always been my favourite troll to begin with but every time I see him and hear him, my heart always beats so much for him, making it aflutter and words cannot describe how special he is to me...how he means the whole world to me~💞🌈💗🌈💞I mean...can you blame me? >//w//`< How could I resist and say no to such an adorable face to go with such a darling like him??💖😍💖😍💖 Cooper is more than just the goofball that we all know and love...he’s my goofball and so much more...~🥹The most amazing troll with such talent, a unique voice and a dazzling yet loving royal family to go with him...~🌟Cooper is also the prince of my heart, who deserves all the love and happiness in the world...and I feel so blessed to be the one to give it all to him, along with my heart~🥰💝💝🥰 April 24th 2020 was the day I drew Cooper for the very first time, and when I started shipping myself with him. And together, him and I have remained strong and inseparable ever since!🫶🏻😌💕We’ve had such happy memories together - becoming part of his world and family, sharing one another’s lives and music, even officially marrying and creating our own dear little life together~✨💜💗💚✨And I wish to keep on loving Cooper forevermore~💓😊

Let’s have a go with All!Yuuji because why not :D

One day I found this fic titled everything i couldn’t save by lying_sun and it got me hooked. It’s not everyday I can find a good Yuuji bowl fic (mostly because I focused a bit too much on Goyuu but I digress)

Btw, is it Yuuji harem? Yuuji bowl??? What do you call a harem with Yuuji btw? I’m too lazy to do research on this topic—

Anyway! The time has come to shower Yuuji with more love. I really adore this fic. The deadly and powerful nature of Yuuji as Sukuna’s vessel, yet his ability and heart are that of a healer. It’s contrastingly beautiful. And it’s SFW! Fluff! Fluff! ✨Fluff! ✨ And of course, a bit of angst because why not :)

Everytime I see Hidden Inventory Arc characters, it always feels like going back to the past. So the concept of immortalising this precious Yuuji bowl into a Polaroid photo feels fitting. And without me even realising it, the outcome feels… cheerful? A bit romcom-ish? Despite the amount of black clothes and hair, the vibe is really light. It feels weird as I usually draw in a rather sombre tone, but I found I like this kind of tone as well!

And also because Yuuji deserves all the love :”)

Ah, this fic is truly giving me “healer yuuji for the soul”. Beautiful.

As I drew this, the fic is almost finished, with the future last chapter being a Sukuna chapter! Since I was not sure what their dynamic would look like, I decided he would be a chibi (I was in the mood for a chibi and he’s my sacrificial lamb). It kind of indicates that he’s different. As in not having his own body and cannot hug Yuuji physically haha

Drawing them all was really fun! It was a bit tricky since I couldn’t find references for the pose so I just winging it with my available anatomy knowledge. Bless the college for having black uniforms. Helps a lot lol

Meaning, something that burnout can ruthlessly steal from you. What returns it?

Thank you to every single blessed individual reviewer, reader and reacher who has ever reached out to me regarding my writing and shared your experience of my storytelling madness. I’m currently rereading every message and review I’ve ever been blessed to receive; to remind me how to answer the vital questions posed here that I have struggled with ever since burnout hit:

What is the gift you carry in your soul? What have you brought with you into the heart of the village?

I love and appreciate those who so kindly remind me of the meaning of what I do, which trumps all drill-sergeant self-talk, and forced modern-culture motivation mantras (the hustle shit) that only leads to further stress and illness. 🙏🏼

Modern Culture is fucked sideways and upside-down right now. Hello Clown World 🤡

Takeaways:

Cultivate your own myths and soul-medicines to find your meaning. If you can’t find joy in your old go-to pleasures right now, please find relief from any of your pressures.

If nothing seems to fill you right now, you may need to Empty Out rather than consume or try to fill what feels like a void. Sometimes it’s hard to tell whether we’re truly empty inside, or too full of shit to feel.

It feels strange to share this, but as people have enquired (and are so sadly suffering similarly), I said I would do my best to offer my random and humble findings as I navigate my own way from the hellfire wasteland of burnout back to my writing worlds again.

I hope this helps someone. 🙏🏼 Even if it’s just to acknowledge their sadness.

For any other creatives going through burnout and are in the baby steps of recovery — or even if you’re sitting in the wreckage and not yet on recovery’s road just yet— I get you, I see you, I hear you, I feel for you, and I wish you so much grace in gently cradling and protecting the gifts you hold whilst your mind/body/spirit heals so you can return to your creative projects again and feel what the fires of burnout scorched and then extinguished in you.

Beauty CAN come out of Ashes.

And that beauty doesn’t have to be a phoenix. It can be a tiny, tiny spark — and even if the spark doesn’t catch just yet, stay with it, stay with it, please stay with it ✨

Grand Rising Beautiful Souls 🙏 Blessed beings of light 🙌 I Am truly grateful to be gifted the most beautiful birthday wishes from each one of you <3 Because of your gift to me, I was nudged by Spirit this morning to share the wonderment of my 60th life celebration with you ~ My [birthday] ceremony began on the 24th where I hiked 6-miles through the desert to a remote Hot Spring along the Rio Grande River. There I sat, gazing into the Sierra Maderas del Carmen mountains of Mexico, nourished in these sacred healing waters that have been used by the natives in the area for 1000+ years. The day of my birth, January 25th, the day I returned to this realm; at sunrise I started my day with a cup of plant "medicine" used by the natives in this region for hundreds of years. At this point, I started my celebration of life by hiking 12-miles up to a snowy peak, sweating and purging along the way (from the medicine) until I reached a place of being one with the heavens and the earth <3 A truly remarkable journey of will as my soul ached to gain a deeper innerstanding of my existence 🙏 The 26th was a day of contemplation and integration. I was filled with a heartfelt wonderment as I walk our beautiful mother earth, developing a keen insight for my soul's evolution ✨ I am very blessed and grateful to walk this earth plane with amazing illuminated light souls as you 🙏 Know that I see the spark of God within each and every one of you. I love you all 🌟 Wishing each of you from the depths of my heart, love, peace, and prosperity 💚❤️💙

“the purple cans had now been lined up before the blue, blending so seamlessly and so beautifully” “whoever did this had an eye for detail and beauty, two of hyunjin’s favourite things” i can’t remember who exactly, but someone said yn’s soulmate would probably spend their time rearranging paint with her. this section is so cute bc it really does show how similar they are + i’m literally giggling and kicking my feet that the purple paint, something that no one else gave a shit about, was one of their first ‘bonding’ moments. idk but after seeing their relationship develop/seeing how many things they have in common, it just makes me so happy reading about the purple paint through hyunjin’s pov and knowing that it meant a lot to him too 🥹

61 DAYS LATER A LETTER ON OUR 2ND MONTHSARY

Dear, my beloved christine.

It doesn't feel like it's been a 61 days since we're relationship and been 288 days since the first time I laid my eyes on you — but somehow it feels like it's been forever. This whole "us" thing. you and me. same feelings, same thoughts, couple.

i met various people every single day and have made so many friends over the years but meeting you for the first time was something special, the vibe, the atmosphere, the bond and the feeling was different. it was more unique and special . your force of attraction was super strong which technically pulled me more closer to you. the first time I met you, you were just a friend of friend to me but now I get to call you as my girlfriend, my someone, my beloved, and the love of my life. you have such a kind heart yet you're strong. you have a soul that is pure and so beautiful, i know you got flaws in many ways—

but you're my baby, my baby makes mistakes but I don't care.

i know I have been not an easy person to deal with. i have so much trust issues, I'm a chronic over-thinker, sometimes i overthink more than I should, i stressed up super fast, i might be insecure most of the time but being with you makes me to over come those. you help me out in so many ways and in any aspects and from giving up in such things and for that i thank you with all of my heart. i appreciate every single thing that you have done for me (too many to elaborate, but you're the best!!) and most of all is not giving up on me. i promise you with all of me, with every veins i have down to the tiny thread of my flesh that i love you with so much passion, feelings that can't be describe, and much of intensity.

I'm too shy to say this in personal pero my kilig was overflowing the moment you said na palit na lang tayo ng suot sa paa when we were at the mall. I don't know pero it's the small gestures talaga for me and I really love you so much for that, I got teary eyed na ewan hahaha.

i am grateful and humbled by this unconditional love that you shower on me. some of the days I just feel overwhelmed with the affection I have for you and i always wonder whether it's a dream or a reality that i am really living because the feeling was so magical and surreal.

So of these three, Sidonie is currently the only one with an actual incantation to accompany her UM. It goes as follows:

This rose is your destiny

Your soul unmasked

Blooming revelation

Harbinger of truth

The last line is the actual name of her UM. Sidonie has been developing her UM for several years but it did not first fully manifest until her freshman year at NRC. The cultivation of enchanted roses has always been a part of her family’s heritage and she began learning this at a early age. When her grandmother told her the story of the beautiful witch who used one of her roses to place a curse on a prince, she began to wish that she could posses that kind of magical power.

After years of learning from her grandmother, Sidonie began to realize that whenever someone touched a rose she had blessed, she could temporarily look into their soul and see their innermost thoughts and feelings. This came to a head when she arrived at NRC when one afternoon, Sidonie had Vidaria touch one of her blessed roses and was terrified by what she saw lurking in the fae’s soul. She confided in Rook who was the first to suggest to her that this was her unique magic. The next time she would test this would be on Lilia and...well...lets just say Sidonie was certain from that point on what her UM was, and was also banned from ever using it on campus again. 😅

Farron and Ione under the cut!

Farron began developing his UM at a pretty young age but the background of which is kind of sad. After beginning homeschool, Farron didn’t see Andrew much anymore and while he got along with his sister, she was still older and they didn’t connect in the way he needed. While reading a basic spell book, Farron became bored and began wishing for a friend and was shocked when a puppy appeared before him! So shocked he was, he couldn’t really enjoy its presence before it vanished. He was unsure what had happened but he did understand that it had to have been magic and it stood to reason that maybe he could make it happen again but he wouldn’t manifest his UM again for a few more years.

As of now, Farron mostly uses his UM for fabric and other crafty pursuits and he has developed it to the point that inanimate objects no longer vanish. Sentient items that he summons still do vanish after a certain amount of time.

*WARNING, SPOILERS FOR FUTURE SHINING HEARTS CHAPTERS AHEAD*

Out of all my OCs with UMs, Ione’s development of hers is most recent. When Vidaria is once again kidnapped while returning to Ramshackle from Diasomnia, Iman begs for help from Yuulan, Danica, Taima and Ione. The girls temporarily set aside their differences and join together to rescue Vidaria who is being held at the very far edge of the woods behind NRC.

Though they form a plan, things don’t work out well and Yuulan nearly looses her life. Now, Ione has always had a knack for plant-based magic but at that moment, in a fit of searing, unchecked rage and frustration, uses magic to manipulate several large roots that choke out Vidaria’s kidnappers. They’re rendered unconscious and the girls take that opportunity to retrieve their captured friend and return to Ramshackle before anyone finds out what’s happened.

This was the first, and currently the only, time Ione has used her UM and in-universe, she’s yet to give it a name (for writing purposes, I call it Bitter Weeds) but you can bet she will begin developing it in earnest as soon as she’s done with prep for the cultural festival.
