New Yorkers Against Violence was a concert organized by The Milarepa Foundation and Beastie Boys in response to the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The New York City concert took place at the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom where The Strokes, Yoko Ono, The Roots, Bono, Beastie Boys, and many more, lent their voices to the cause.
