April 22nd and 23rd
Yesterday went on a 30 minute walk, not on purpose - I was very early so decided to walk around the countryside for a bit. Didnโt do any studying :/. Today was definitely a more productive day, made some chem flashcards (I finished two whole topics) and have 2/3 of my speech completed (the procrastinator in me didnโt have the energy/creativity to finish it) . So the plan is to either finish it in the morning so when I get home Iโm just memorising it for Wednesday, so fingers crossed all goes well. Iโm also loving the blue on purple, thought I would switch things up.
complete a sporcle quiz related to one of your subjects
I did a maths one and got 40%, that was so stressful because I ran out of time and Iโm just sat here doing mental arithmetic in my head ๐
whatโs a recipe you love to cook?
Savoury, I have this homemade pasta recipe that I love to cook I havenโt made it in a while now that I think about it. For sweets definitely lemon cake.

16. show us some revision resources youโve made recently
As someone currently stuck in gen-ed hell, I do more assignments than actual revision and tests. But here's some of my notes about linked lists from early in the semester when I was actually trying. I can't guarantee that they're right, please do your own research!

I have been categorising problems by theory for physics and maths. Its easier to understand a theory when you try out the related problems immediately afterwards.

April Studyblr Challenge~ Day 25
-- Do you use color-coding in your notes? If so, whatโs your system? --
I donโt really have a system, I guess it depends on the day and whatever mood Iโm in. I use a system for annotating textbooks or novels, or whenever we have to take notes using the Cornell method, but otherwise itโs nothing intricate. Greens are definitions and key terms, blues are formulas, and pinks and purples are used to compare and contrast concepts.

gave my physics presentation today! here are a few snippets from it :) not to be too proud, but it was definitely one of the best in my class ๐ (also because a lot of people had paragraphs of text on all their slides and read off them verbatim) and several people told me it had the same energy as one of our favourite profs, which is the best compliment possible ๐ฅบ๐ฅฐ
we also had our last physics class today, and our prof made us cookies as her own tradition ๐ they were really yummy
just one more assignment for lin alg and then Iโm done all my assignments for this semester ๐ฅณ
studyblr prompt day 7: whatโs your main motivation for your studies at the moment?
I actually donโt have a lot of motivation right now ๐
the end of semester burn out hit me one week too soon. but I am very much looking forward to the research I may get to be part of this summer!

8 | recommend a new study habit or hack youโve been using recently
1 | donโt know if this counts as a hack but ive had to repurpose a bunch of things after moving, most notably : my old music stand is incredibly useful next to my desk ! i like having books upright next to me, and it works nicely as an impromptu easel. Simple, id just never thought of it.
2 | PowerToys (Fancy Zones)
first thing i installed on my new laptop was PowerToys. some of itโs functions are really helpful
ive grown reliant on making custom fancy zones = dividing up the screen and easily using that as
an example :
i usually use much simpler zone divisions but this one is nice for design comissions

New month, new challenge
March was quite a busy month for me and I decided to be more productive and follow new habits to achieve my goals. And now I know how to do it.
For April I have a lot of things to do, basically because in a few weeks the semester is over. I will save my daily progress, even when I only read a couple of pages of my books, because yes, that's also being productive.
MY MASTER TO DO LIST (I'll update it as I know the tasks hehe).
Writing:
- journalistic essay, biographical essay.

April Study Challenge - Day 12
โข Wednesday 12th April | ๐ link to challenge's info page
โWatch or listen to a TED talkโ
I watched the โSix behaviors to increase your confidence | Emily Jaenson | TEDxRenoโ. A couple of things I learned: count yourself in (3,2,1, do it), be brave just for 20 seconds, take a seat at the table (literally), and cheer for other people's success. (confident people celebrate the success of others rather than feeling threatened).
What I did today
๐ Reading: Programming in Lua - 1st Edition
๐ฉ๐พโ๐ป Coding: Work-related projects
๐ง Listening to: American - Lana Del Rey

april 3: reflect on march
you know how some people say that March is either in like a lion and out like a lamb, or in like a lamb and out like a lion? March was definitely the former, I was having a really rough time in March coming to terms with a lot of things, not feeling very accepted by people and not finding my niche with school and my ambitions. now, Iโm in a much better place. Iโm happier, Iโve accepted what I cannot change and Iโve taken several steps to ensure that Iโm on a better path. Even though Iโm not fully there yet, Iโm getting there!

April 8th
I had a lot going on today, but nonetheless it was a great stem day. Exciting news I suppose, I got into the finals of this music competition so fun stuff and Iโm officially on my break.
April study challenge
recommend a new study habit or hack youโve been using recently
Uh I donโt think I have any new study habits I usually stick to the same plan. However I have been studying with study with me videos which I quite like. I now also watch YouTube videos for topics I have tests on then write notes if I need them or not, itโs really useful because Iโm going over a topic without having to do much, like I donโt have to read a textbook I can just pop a video on and learn from it.
