i just asked my wife if she's doing her sailing homework (like she really should be doing) and she said she was not so i shrugged and said, "well only you can decide how you should spend your time" and she looked at me like i'd just shot her and groaned for about seven seconds straight like i'd just said something horrifying

Hi..

Selama beberapa bulan ini sibuk beradaptasi dengan kehidupan setelah pernikahan. Meski di awal ada sedikit drama, tp sebagian besar baik-baik saja dalam kesehariannya. Kehidupan baru dengan kesibukan yang baru, bahkan seringkali tidak bisa melakukan hobi yang dulu menjadi pekerjaan 😆 Nanti akan tiba waktunya kembali terbiasa dgn 'jadwal rumah' sehingga bisa dibagi dengan melakukan hobi agar tidak gampang stres.

My Goals For 2020 :

(THESE ARE MY PERSONAL GOALS FOR ME. THEY'RE NOT THE GOALS I HAVE AS A MOM, OR WIFE. THEY'RE NOT FAMILY GOALS. THESE ARE THINGS I NEED TO DO FOR MYSELF. THEY'RE MY "ME" GOALS)

stop ONLY focusing on being a mom and wife. meaning, not fully lose my own identity and personal life, I have to be my own person and do things separate from mom and wife stuff. like YES I am a mom and wife but I'm not JUST a mom and wife.. you know ? (it's harder than it seems honestly but I'm trying)

get my permit.. license.. and then a car (DO NOT JUDGE ME. I am twenty-something years YOUNG and driving gives me pure anxiety)

I had a goal that I already completed but I'm so happy because it took me almost 5 years to do LOL just wanted to put that out there

get my damn teeth fixed cause lord knows mine are a MESS.. they're not BAD BAD but they're bad, feel me ?

be more positive, patient, and outgoing

finish / use things up BEFORE buying more. such as my books / planners, soap, and makeup

be more open to new things and experiences

listen to more music / start reading books again

practice my photography / makeup

I have weight goals but I'm not posting about the details of those weight goals lol but definitely be more body positive no matter how my body looks

learn new recipes

learn to let go (in many cases)

work on my sleep schedule (not doing too great on that since it's already past 1 am and I'm up posting)

POST MORE, BE CONSISTENT lol

that's it for now, MAYBE, maybe I'll post my "Mom Goals", "Wife Goals", and "Family Goals" another time..

Everyday I come home my 4 year old runs into my arms, I pick him up and we hug to a few minutes until I feel like my arms will fall off. He whispers in my ear that he loves me so much and that he really missed me.  He's getting so big and time is flying by so fast. I tell him I love him so much too and that mama has to put him down since he's getting to be such a big boy. Everyday I look forward to those few minutes and wonder if that day will be the last time that I will be able to do that. One day he will outgrow me and as much as I look forward to seeing what he will do with his life I get sad. I get sad that I will no longer be able to pick him up and kiss away his boo boos. There will come a day when he won't want to hold my hand or scream across the playground that he loves me. Until then I will pick him up, hug him, tell him that mommy loves him forever and ever and that he's my favorite.

Just a little appreciation post, because I'm so happy with where my life is with this man. We have a beautiful, healthy son who is about to turn six months old. He works his ass off five to six days a week, working long hours to support me as I continue going to college and stay at home to raise Aiden. I am about to enter my college program of Elementary Education.
