Swapfell Papyrus who goes by Cashmere.

Likes wearing big baggy clothes. Usually looks like he robbed a thrift shop. Falls madly in love with you because you buy him a soda he'd dropped on the floor.

Someone else made a post somewhere (that I now can't find) that yandere swapfell Papyrus is the type to fall in love so easy. Can agree. Cashmere's fallen in love with folks over the simplest things--They had cool shoelaces, she had a nice smile, he had a cute nose. Even he knows he's probably got a problem. He falls so hard, so damn fast again and again.

So when he falls for you, he figures it's a matter of time before he loses interest again and falls head over heels for someone else.

Except he doesn't.

And you're so, so great. He doesn't talk all the time, but it doesn't bother you. You talk for the both of you, and you always keep quiet when you can tell he just...needs a second. Like, like you just know.

And there they are..back in the dark realm a year later…things don’t go well out as planned when Eddie gets hurt..he ended up ‘dying’

What was all the buzzing?..

Why did his skull hurt?..

Dream tried to open his eyes, but they wouldn't open. Well, only one did. The other was still black.

Had he kept it closed...?..

He blinked.

Nope, still dark in one eye.

But now it was more focused. He saw wooden ceiling above him, felt the bed below... he sat up slowly, but still flinched and hissed in pain.

"Whoa! Easy there, Dream...! Don't get up..." Nightmare muttered. "You got shot in the eye...... you need to rest....."

"Sh-shot....?" Dream barely recalled what happened. Something about leaving someone alone?.. "I... I what....?.."

"Yes... you got shot.... you were protecting me... don't you remember?.."

It all flooded back. Though, the positive skeleton wished it hadn't... he then got a theory of why his eye was all black.

"Did I go blind?!" He shrieked in worry. How would he see people smile again? See their emotions reflect in their eyes?!

Night chuckled. "No, you didn't.... I just put a bandage on you." He got a mirror, holding it up. "See? Sorry it's violet. We-"

Dream didn't pay attention to his brother.... the bandage didn't cover all the cracks.... there were a few poking out from the side......

Placing a hand against the glass, he looked at the damage. The bandage covered most of it. But... he wanted to take it off....

"- and then I found those!" Nightmare exclaimed, only then noticing Dreams demeanor. "Hey.... Dream?..."

"Hm?" The gold skeleton hummed.

"Are you feeling ok?.. you look.... upset...."

"I'm fine, Nighty... just tired...."

"Well.... you get some rest... I need to go out and get some ingredients for food... wait here ok?.."

"Ok.... see you later...."

"Bye Dream..." and he walked out hesitantly.

The second Dream heard the door, he stood up, walking around the house until he found the bathroom. Walking to the mirror, he very slowly took off the violet bandage.

He gasped and choked at the damage...

The crack was deep, some parts chipped away at the edges of his socket... the eye light had gone out, but the vision was still fine.

Dream had never wanted to puke so much in his 500 plus years of life....

He felt so....

......... humiliated...?..

He didn't think of any other word. So that must be it. Tracing a hand along the glass where the crack ran... he realised how lucky he was before his brother turned back....

Night had a small crack on the covered socket, but it was barely noticeable unless you got really close. But.. if he did show it, he was more proud of it.

So then.... why couldn't Dream be that way?..

He pondered it, just standing there... before everything began turning orange, sounds buzzed in his nonexistent ears......

Darkness yet again.... only this time...

.... because of passing out.
