When Tom had messaged you saying he wanted to talk, no matter how much you knew it was a bad idea, you decided to agree to it anyway.

The breakup had ended pretty badly. Although it was an agreement between you and Tom, that didn’t mean that’s what the both of you truly wanted.

The reason the two of you broke up in the first place was that Tom was talking too much about your future, which wasn’t a bad thing — but it overwhelmed you. You weren’t ready to settle down, not yet, at least. You and Tom had only been dating for a few months, and although it was all sweet and loving, you knew that getting engaged this early was like asking for a disaster to strike.

He was upset. Clearly. He loved you, you loved him, so why was it such an inconvenience for you to agree to take the leap in your relationship? That caused a blown out argument between you two, and by the end of it, you had agreed breaking up was the right thing.

You had a acting and music career to focus on, and Tom had an acting career that was just at the beginning of its success. You felt that it wasn’t right to put a distraction into his life.

“Is this a bad idea?” You ask breathlessly as you pull away from the kiss. You can’t help but stare into Tom’s eyes, which held a language of their own.

“Maybe,” he says, wiping the corner of your mouth. “But who cares?”

Who cares. Right. Well surely, it was a bad idea to meet up with your ex, much less kiss him, and although alarms were baring in your head that you probably shouldn’t—you go in for a second kiss, this time, Tom doesn’t let you go, cradling you close to his body.

“I don’t care if you don’t want to take the next step in our relationship, I’m fine if you’re not ready yet. I just want you, okay?”

And how could any girl possibly reject Tom Blyth when he’s begging so prettily? Certainly not you.

so imagine r works at a flower shop and has a very soft, fairytale like vibe and aesthetic to her. she’s obsessed with flowers and knows the meanings of each one, she likes putting lil flowers in her braids, she acts very similar to luna lovegood y’know? skipping instead of walking and saying whatever’s on her mind and having interests considered weird. her and steve are secretly in love with each other and r’s way of showing her affections to him is by gift giving— baking him sweets, making him a handmade necklace with his birth flower pressed on it, giving him her favorite ring, and giving him whatever else she thinks is pretty. like pretty rocks and pretty flowers and pretty crystals and pretty trinkets. r always giggles and blushes whenever her stevie is nice to her and she just wants to love on him as much as possible while unbeknownst to her steve just wants to spoil her as much as possible.

steve is absolutely in love with his flower girl, everything about her is perfect for him and she makes him feel like he’s in a disney movie pining after the pretty princess. he’s her dream come true if you ask her. however, giving the fact she’s entirely inexperienced and introverted, steve doesn’t know how to make a move on her without scaring her away.

it turns out that when she gives him her first kiss, steve’s knees buckle and he melts and they can’t let go of each other, whines and whimpers and moans are audible, and steve just kisses her over and over again until he asks her to please be her boyfriend.

i’m thinking about the first time steve and his best girl kiss.

you skip down the street, bunch of flowers in hand and practically vibrating with energy; your usual placid demeanour replaced with something fiercer, something only steve ignites in you. in the other hand you clutch a plate of warm cookies, freshly baked for your best boy.

when you turn into family video, the ruffles of your long skirt wafting around you, robin wolf whistles. you giggle.

“steve, your girlfriend is here!” she singsongs; you grimace slightly.

“i’m not- not his girlfriend, rob,” you murmur, ever soft spoken. months of pining and gift giving and a strong friendship, and you’re not entirely sure your feelings are reciprocated. you set down the bunch of handpicked dahlias paired fittingly with carnations: representative of a lasting bond— pure, innocent love. something to be cherished. whether you’re his girlfriend or not, it’s clear how much you adore that boy. even if you’re totally out of your depth when it comes to relationships.

steve’s already grinning when he turns the corner and approaches you.

“hi, flower,” he coos, picking up the bunch of flowers with a reverence you deem exuberant. “these for me?”

“yeah,” you mumble shyly, picking at your fingers as he examines them. robin thinks she sees hearts in his eyes. “you like ‘em?”

“you kidding?” he asks, breaking into the most gorgeous, rapturous grin. “i love them! thanks, babe.”

“brought you these, too,” you whisper. “thought they might make work easier.”

his heart clenches at your demeanour, the way you hide in on yourself for fear of disappointing him; like you could ever, you hang his moon and his stars, his flower princess.

“you’re an angel, you know that?” he asks. your cheeks heat and the feeling spreads, all the way down your body with white-hot affection. you’re pleased. steve continues, “why don’t you hang around for a while? havin’ you would make work easier.”

“okay.” you say, ecstatic that he asked. both of your hearts ache for each other, wanting, needing to be close, to be connected. the tension is so thick that you almost bow under the weight of it.

he holds out his hand to lead you around the back of the shop where he’s been stacking tapes. it’s quiet and you hold the ends of his fingers oh so gently. when he turns to face you, he’s much closer than he was before. and no matter how nervous you are, you can’t move away. he seems similarly trapped by your proximity. you step closer, hands trembling. steve exhales.

“angel.” he murmurs. you nod, bumping your nose with his. you don’t remember ever being this close to someone before. “baby, i really want to kiss you. would that be okay?”

you nod once and he presses for more, those honeyed brown eyes filled with concern and anticipation even as his hand comes up to cradle your jaw.

“i want it to be you, steve. i do.” you gulp. “you know i haven’t- you know - kissed anyone before?”

“i know,” he says. he’s melting and soft, voice low so as not to scare you. “that’s okay. but i still really want to kiss you, if you’ll let me.”

you don’t share any more words before pressing your lips to his; it starts slow, controlled before steve relents and grabs your face, coaxing your lips to part with his tongue and licking into your mouth with a groan. you match him with equal enthusiasm, standing on your tippy toes to card a hand through his chocolate locks.

“oh,” he sighs, the relief of him finally having you where he wants you palpable. you smile but refuse to pull away, pushing yourself closer to him. his knees actually buckle and he moans into your mouth, wrapping thick arms around your waist to keep you flush to him.

“steve,” you whine as he pulls away. his pillowed lips next find a home on your forehead, your cheeks, the very tip of your nose, the dimple of your chin.

“angel.” he grins and kisses your neck. “please, angel.” your lips again. “i need you.” the crown of your head. “please let me be your boyfriend.”

you nod vehemently, overcome with love.

“stevie, i want you to be my boyfriend.”

“you do?”

“i do.”

“my girl.” he tests the words on his tongue. “my girlfriend.”

“my boyfriend,” you giggle back.

" When I was younger, around like five or six years old? I used to bug my mom and tell her about how I wanted to be a firefighter. So I could save lies and put out fires? Like the people who I'd watch on tv would do."

Tapping the tips of her fingertips onto the dark oak wood coffee table, that was located in the center of the dim lit office room. Giovanna kept her head facing downwards.

Finding that, refusing to make direct eye contact with her therapist of 3 years, who was named Marsha? Was far more comfortable and peaceful for her nerves, as well as her emotional state.

That had so desperately wanted to crumble and falter, into tiny small pieces of despair. But you see, that was the one thing on this fucked up planet, we call earth? That Giovanna was against.

Showing emotions and allowing herself to be vulnerable? Were just two things she'd rather die over, before she'd allow them to be seen by the entire world.

Or in this specific case? Her friends, along with her father. Who had played a humongous part, in why she chose to be nonchalant while acting unfazed? About majority of the things that would occur inside of her life.

".. I too? Used to dream of being a firefighter myself. When I was around that exact age, but I'm assuming that specific dream of yours must've gotten lost. Somewhere down the line as you aged up? If you aren't uncomfortable telling me about why or how? That occurred.."

Marsha eased her way into questioning the young woman who sat before her, slowly and hesitantly. Making sure that each of the words she'd spoken? Came out soft, in a calm and delicate manner.

As she leaned her backside up against her office chair, with eyes full of hope and wonder. That held a bit of gloominess inside them as well too. Once she noticed the way that Giovanna's breathing had begun to pick up a bit.

Just as her short, but not too short fingernails, that were painted a matte black color? Had begun to dig into the surface of the desk she sat at. Almost as if she were trying to dig a deep hole into the center of it, that would allow her to shield and hide herself away?

From having to answer the difficult question? That had been asked of her.

" ..I wouldn't say that my passion to accomplish that specific dream? Got lost. Because even after my mom had passed away, from having cancer? Apart of me still wanted to pursue that goal. But at the same time? Another part of me, like the part that held high hopes and expectations for things? Had diminished inside of me completely, after I lost my mom.."

" ..And I'm not really sure that if me being an only child, plays a part in that? Because don't get me wrong, I was loved wholeheartedly? By both of my parents equally when I was younger. But I don't know...sometimes now? Like when I'm alone or high from being off pills or something? I start to realize that really? It was only my mom that had loved me wholeheartedly back then.."

" Instead of it being my dad."

" And why is it, that you feel as if your father doesn't love you Giovanna?" Marsha continued to ask all the questions, that were written down onto her clipboard hesitantly.

Feeling an unsettling sensation begin to wash over her slowly. When Giovanna had taken it upon herself to shift around inside her seat. Which allowed the left sleeve of her oversized sweatshirt to rise. And give Marsha the opportunity, to catch a glimpse of all the fresh and faded scar markings that were present there.

From Giovanna, inflicting a significant amount of self harm unto herself.

" I know that he doesn't love me? Because he's voiced that statement every single day. Over the last twelve years? Repeatedly." Giovanna chuckled bitterly, all while gnawing on the inside of her jaw using her teeth.

" Me being a lesbian? Probably is another one of the reasons why he hates me too. But all in all? He just doesn't love or care for me period? In the way that a normal father would love their child."

And that fact alone? Was sadly true.

" Him not loving me or treating me properly? Doesn't bother me at all though. Because I'm used to it now, and I know that me saying that? Probably sounds stupid right? And it might also make you assume that I may or may not have Stockholm syndrome? Being that I'm okay with the fact that my father's been treating me like shit, while sometimes abusing me and more? For over twelve years."

" Yes, the way that you are going on about how his lack of love and affection, doesn't bother you? Does raise a few red flags for me. As far as you possibly being a victim of having Stockholm syndrome? But it also makes me worry more about your emotional and mental state? Even more. Being that when you really sit and sum up the timeframe, of you losing your mother? Down to your father's continuous abuse?"

" It seems that through all of that? You haven't been able to feel any of the proper care, love or attention? That a person who's endured losing a parent at a young age? Should get to feel. And that may also be another reason, as to why you feel the need to be so distant. While hiding away your true feelings, because honestly Giovanna? I'm gonna tell you something from my own personal experiences with life."

"..That have helped me find closure and peace? Within myself. After being a victim of my own? To some of the same exact problems that you've been having."

Sitting her clipboard aside, after grabbing a few tissues out of the box that was towards her right. Marsha had begun opening up about her past life, to Giovanna. As a way to encourage the younger woman and try to get through to her in a way, that talking and asking simple therapy questions? Couldn't do.

But of course? As always, Giovanna didn't care to hear any of it. Which allowed every word that left from out of Marsha's mouth, to enter inside of one ear, and come floating directly through the other.

Just as she found herself beginning to grow a bit offended, once Marsha had begun to talk about love and relationships. And how someone in Giovanna's state, didn't really need to engage in any form of romantic or sexual interactions? With another person.

Due to the lack of her father not showing her enough love or care properly? When she was a young age.

" I've been in love before." Were the first few words that left from out of Giovanna's mouth. As she cut into the middle of Marsha's speech, not really caring or giving a fuck if she had come off rude or not? After doing so.

" I'm actually in love right now? If you want me to be honest. I'm just not on speaking terms with the person? Who owns the other half of my heart right now."

" Really?" Marsha questioned slowly, sounding a bit shocked and caught off guard by Giovanna's statement.

" Mm-hm." Giovanna nodded her head slowly, feeling a small smile begin to form at the corners of her lips. Once the thought of her distant and angelic lover? Had begun to enter inside of her mind slowly.

" And why aren't the two of you on speaking terms? If you don't mind me asking."

" Because I'm..." Trailing off at the end of her sentence, Giovanna had begun to still her breathing. Just as her dark brown eyes started to glisten, and blur her vision up with tears.

" Because you're what, Giovanna?" Marsha pressed her for an answer, knowing almost immediately? What the younger girls response would've been like, once she re-opened up her mouth to speak.

" ..I'm damaged goods, Miss Marsha.."

" Like I have a heart, of course? And I know how to love and treat someone properly, even though I myself? Never got to receive that same exact treatment, from the people I deserved it from. I still know how to love and treat someone good? Despite that. But I just..."

" You're just a product of your environment. And even though treating someone kindly and loving them correctly? Doesn't come difficult. Sometimes accepting back that same love and energy? Can be a bit difficult. When all you've ever known was toxicity and dysfunction."

" But see, the thing about me accepting it back? Wasn't the problem Miss Marsha. The problem was my self esteem and my communication. Because there were times when I said things out of anger or out of being afraid? That had drove Hassan away from me too."

" Hassan?" Marsha repeated the name of Giovanna's lover slowly. " Hassan is such a pretty name, and I'm sure that she must be a pretty girl too? With how emotional and vulnerable you're getting while talking about her."

And that? She was indeed.

But of course, pretty? Wouldn't even be a suitable word to describe her at all. Because you see, Hassan? Was angelic. Just like everything else about her personality and character? Was too.

this is a young adult graphic novel written by kody keplinger and illustrated by sara kipin. it was released as part of dc's celebratory line of pride books last year. in this universe, ivy is confirmed bisexual

i often see people bring this up

and i have to point out that neither jimmy nor amanda ever specified that ivy is bi. they didn't label her sexuality. what they did say was this

i've seen a number of people use this as "proof" recently and again, not valid. that is a fandom wiki that just about anyone can edit and write anything they please. i checked to see if the person in question provided any references i may not be aware of and unfortunately they didn't. they only mention the existence of a "pride cover featuring poison ivy with the lesbian flag" and apparently they're talking about the kris anka variant for harley quinn #4 that was released last year

the color scheme can be misleading for sure. i don't know if anka did it intentionally or not, but i do know for a fact that he's normally not shy about attaching a pride flag aesthetic to a character. a solid example is his work on marvel's runaways, which has karolina dean (canon lesbian) and nico minoru (canon bisexual)

so if he intended for that to be the lesbian flag, on a cover for the harley quinn run that features both harley and ivy, i believe he would've definitely found a way to center the flag colors on ivy alone. but, again, i can't possibly claim to know exactly what went on through his head, so, at the end of the day, make of it what you will, i suppose

meanwhile... (still on the topic of dc pride covers)

jen bartel opted for a bi color scheme for both of her harlivy variants, very much on purpose.

now onto why her sexuality is such a hot topic for debate despite everything mentioned above. ivy has been portrayed as a misandrist more often than not. she never pursues romantic or sexual relationships with men without an ulterior motive—they are always a means to an end. with women, it's different. the connection is genuine, the feelings are real. her main love interest in the main continuity of the comics and almost every alternate universe, is harley. and whenever she happens to get a different love interest, it's a woman (see this post) even the casual hook-ups are with women (e.g. catwoman lonely city #3 and poison ivy #4)

and so, of course, none of this invalidates the possibility of her being bisexual. because misandry and bisexuality are not mutually exclusive, and her aversion to men stems from past traumatic experiences and the abuse she suffered at the hands of jason woodrue. but, at the same time, a case can just as easily be made that she is lesbian-coded. either way: she loves women. the end. 💚

The first e v e r ? Well I remember when I was very very little (like... 5 ? 6 ?) I was inventing little anthro characters and drawing their little adventures. I vaguely remember my favorite was a squirrel girl so that's what I would count as first OC ever ? xD

Not exactly, but when I really like a character I tend to kind of draw them as much as if their were my own, and get equally as enthusiastic about them, even sometimes more ! Mostly happen in roleplays ! A good example is Harkniss, people often (understandably) think he's mine when he's... not :p

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?

I don't know, it's not really something I fantasies about ? Except for like, the fanservice side of smooching a pretty character I do prefer them as dolls to safely explore a story/aesthetic as I please !

I'm recovering from an Ed so it makes me kinda uncomfortable and I don't get why they cross tag (especially cuz when I used to look at pro stuff, I noticed most people and blogs rarely tagged it with anything not pro or Ed related, so it's weird that people r cross tagging nowadays)

Contrary to popular belief I don't call out pro Ana behavior because I'm some sorta bully to mentally ill girls. It's because of people like you. People in the community who are recovering and don't even feel comfortable in their own space.

When pro accounts post so that other communities like coquette, dollette, fairycore, softcore, pink aesthetic, girlbloggers, cottagecore, emo, academia, gyaru, and even Ed Sheeran fans, see it, it's because they're trying to reach the widest audience possible. I'm telling you it's all about the numbers!! They recognize that this is social media first and foremost (not the diary they're lying about maintaining) and to participate in social media they feel like they HAVE to let as many people possible know that they're sick and others can be sick just like them if they follow along.

That's how we end up with content of skinny women with the hashtag #fatphobic, body check moodboards with the hashtag #naturecore, and starvation "diets" with the hashtag #hyperfeminine. Nothing about the way a lot of pro Ana accounts tag have ANYTHING to do with the community they're camping in. But the "please don't report just block" girls simply cannot function without the likes that they believe are signs that they should keep going.

And now because of it, aesthetics like coquette get an even worse reputation from people outside of the community. People see pro anorexia as the norm for our community and add that onto their list of reasons to hate us along with "romanticizing pedophilia, hyper consumerism, white exclusivity, classism, and ableism".

I'm honestly so over the numbers game people keep playing. Every micro blogger thinks they're the influencer of the month and gladly take pages out of REAL influencers playbooks by clout farming with cross tagging. So so sick of it.

Here is my opinion, Yunah will be good as an idol but I do not think she is fit with the Y2K aesthetic concept of I'll-It. Another reason why the crowd's fave like Chanelle, Jiwoo and Jeemin did not make it is because they do not fit the concept of I'LL-IT, but it does not mean that they are not equally talented as the ones who debuted. I just hope they debut too as an idol with the concept fitting to them where they can showcase their talents more.

I'LL-IT is often mistaken and compared to New Jeans. The fresh look and concept that they bring to Kpop industry is new and hit after the worldwide and famous girl crush concept. Hybe did a great job on building fresh concepts to new Kpop idols. But I hope that it won't get I'll-it hate from the bunnies and other netizens since it is a trademark style of New Jeans. There are a lot of similarities also in their music but as I heard repeatedly both their musics, I'll-it has their own style from New Jeans.

Let us support our girls and give them love. They are young and being an idol is their dream. Let us protect them from all the hate and backlash. STREAM TO THEIR SONGS!

Let us also wait and hope for the crowd's fave who did not debut on I'll-it to be idols soon since they also deserve it. I hope their company or the company who deserves them takes care of their talents well.

90s Sailor Moon Re-watch Thoughts by Piro

I was around 13 or 14 when I first watched Sailor Moon. I stumbled upon the first episode on YouTube and ended up watching the whole series, ignorant of the massive impact this manga/anime had on fiction and popular culture.

Most episodes of the Latino American dub were available on YouTube. Sure, the quality was terrible, and the videos were surrounded by copyright frames (Is that the right term?) but my standards were low back then. I cried at the end of every season.

I decided to re-watch the whole thing last November and just finished. I now proceed to share some of my thoughts now that I'm a more grounded maho-shoujo enjoyer. This time I watched it in Japanese.

Thoughts about each season under the cut!

Sailor Moon Classic:

-Absolute masterpiece. Perfect. I loved the finale. As a child, I wasn't able to properly comprehend why Usagi longed so much to go back to her previous life. She had the power to revive all of her friends. She could have kept their memories. But she didn't because in her eyes the greatest gift she could give them was a normal life.

-Usagi is one of my favorite fictional heroes, maybe my favorite one, for a simple reason: She is weak and selfish. Sailor Moon always needs someone to strike the enemy before she uses her all-mighty magical spell to solve everything. But she isn't useless. She is the hope that keeps everyone else fighting.

-Sailor Moon doesn't actually care about ideals like justice (clearly stated in the manga finale). Her sole motivation is the love she has for her friends and the world, a selfish desire to enjoy a happy life with her loved ones. She's just a girl in the world, let her go home and have a yummy treat.

-The shitennou are a lot more interesting in the anime. In the manga, they serve as romantic interests for each senshi. That s a little bit too easy and heteronormative for me. Having two of them be gay for each other and giving Nephrite an actual character arc is a lot more fun to watch!

-I used to be very neutral about Mamoru. Now I enjoy him a lot. His character is really fun. As far as I understand, he gets into a cosmical fight to find some gem and try to have back his memories from before a car accident. He finds out that he is the reincarnation of ancient royalty and has an equally ancient demigod girlfriend. And he still doesn't recover the memories he was searching for in the first place. That's fun.

Sailor Moon R:

-The Tree arc is good. It also helps fill the season. The Dead Moon arc would have been too long without the tree arc.

-Chibiusa is fine. I disliked her as a child. Not anymore. I love how much we can see Usagi's growth in this season. Sure, she and Chibiusa are a little bit mean to each other sometimes and have petty fights, but you can see they care. Usagi goes as far as trying to trick Rubeus to protect Chibiusa. No one has to force Usagi to transform and fight.

-The Ayakashi sisters are really good. I think their struggles kind of represent being undervalued by an organization/company you have given your whole life.

-Not exactly about the season itself, but the Sailor Moon R movie is one of my favorite anime movies ever. Great animation, great design, great homoeroticism.

Sailor Moon S:

-I've read that having this season as your favorite is seen as pretentious to some people. But sorry, it's just an excellent season. That episode, where Haruka and Michiru are about to find they are the talisman holders. Woah. So aesthetically pleasing. Those shots, those angles, that timing, and edition. Great episode.

-This season delivers one of my favorite Minako episodes. The bad guys finally target her, and she runs off clutching her pure heart in her hands laughing like a maniac. I love her (She later does something similar on SuperS). It inspired me to donate blood, but I couldn't do it because the nurses said my veins were too thin.

-Again, great relationship between Usagi and Chibiusa. I love the friendship between Hotaru and Chibiusa too. I don't care about shipping, but in my heart, she has two hands. Third-season Chibisusa is my favorite Chibiusa.

Sailor Moon SuperS:

-The season I disliked the most as a child, the season I like the least now too. They made the girls so fucking dumb. Usagi's only character trait is being jealous of girls around Mamoru all the time. The inners' personalities are erased over wanting to have a boyfriend. Usagi and Chibiusa fight over the stupidest things.

-This is by far my favorite arc in the manga. I love the lore and how each character has a chance under the spotlight. Extremely sad they wrote out Mamoru's role.

-I'm very indifferent about Helios and his relationship with Chibiusa. I don't dislike them but every time I find myself liking them I realize it's because I'm seeing the Usagi and Mamoru on them.

-Why are the antagonists so creepy? like, they don't even NEED to seduce their targets to see their dreams, so the whole tactic comes off as creepy. Sadly, they had to include Fish Eye in this dynamic. I like her.

-One thing I do like about SuperS is the visuals. I love the opening and the little guys doing their silly performances at the circus. Very good.

Sailor Moon Stars:

-The opening song makes me so emotional. Every time I listen to it, I feel like I'm surrounded by my allies preparing for a deadly fight against a big enemy. The enemy is formidable, but the fire inside our hearts is stronger.

-Big fan of the second Nehelenia Arc. I love seeing the senshis all fighting together, using their unique skills and strengths instead of being defeated immediately and leaving Usagi to do the rest. I also like how they tie the return of Nehelenia with upcoming events.

-It will never be not funny to me that Kunihiko Ikuhara didn't get to direct the season where Mamoru does die.

-I do enjoy how Stars feels a little bit more serious and mature with the absence of Mamoru and the girls being in high school. The Three Lights' music is perfect to build that melancholic atmosphere that characterizes this season for me. But I believe it would have been nice to have Chibiusa a little bit more, it's not her character's fault that the previous season felt so childish.

-Something I did dislike was how the inner senshi were neglected a little bit because most screen time was dedicated to the Three Lights. I like them don't get me wrong. But the opening bit where you see the inner senshis holding hands, while throwing themselves into the void, makes me think I would have preferred to have them on the final fight. They barely did anything on the final fight.

-The Sailor Moon finale is very dear to me. I deeply appreciate the message of the manga of not waiting for a 'peaceful time' or a 'happy ending' to enjoy life with your loved ones. Conflict will always arise again, and life is a constant fight you can only win by accepting the eternal struggle of existing. I think the manga version conveys this message better, but the anime is a worthy adaptation with its own merits.

I will be rewatching Crystal soon after I get some rest from Sailor Moon and watch something else for a little while. I haven't watched the Cosmos movies. I'm looking forward to doing so. I will also be watching the live-action for the first time soon. I will post my thoughts about those too.

I genuinely can't wrap my head around why people hate Vania

I have come across a few people who dislike/hate Vania and I kind of see where they're coming from, don't get me wrong. Some people may find her personality annoying to no end, or they may dislike Cole/Vania as a pairing(valid as hell, ship what you ship but hating a whole character over it???). I am an avid Vania stan so here is some self indulgent Vania appreciation.

NOTE: These are all my opinions and personal preferences so don,'t get too butthurt. I'd love to hear you guys's own opinions on her, just please be respectful :)

Reasons I like Vania:

We have the same personality traits: happy go lucky, warm and optimistic. She's strong-willed, enjoys books and is a fangirl! I can resonate a lot with her character and I really love seeing her onscreen.

She's not afraid to help other people, no matter what!!!

There is no established relationship between her and Cole, so there are lots of possibilities!

Evil dad, bubbly daughter. Slay.

She has a pet dragon. That's just cool as fuck.

Her character design is so yummy i wanna hhhhhhhhh- I mean just LOOK at her

Anyways-

There are many more reasons as to why Vania is best girl, I just don't wanna ramble too much.

Now here are some reasons people dislike Vania(and my debunking of said reasons):

I'm gonna kick this off by saying you do not have to agree with me on any of this. Opinions are opinions and I respect that. In fact I love hearing other people's opinions! However, most of the negative comments I have seen about her are rude, petty or just downright bewildering. You can hate a character without being disrespectful.

Her character is ugly- first of all, r u d e. Like I understand aesthetic preferences but she was designed that way. Not liking aesthetic/appearances and hating on a character don't align all too well.

Shipping- golly gosh goodness... the amount of people who hate Vania because she's an implied love interest to Cole is astonishing. I completely understand with headcannoning Cole as gay/mlm. I'm a multushipper so I agree with that headcannon to an extent(My headcannon is that Cole is pan). I mean, that one scene in the royal blacksmiths is definitely mirroring a 'coming out' story. However, hating on a single character because she 'ruins' your ship or headcannon is just??? Confusing????? And OC shippers aren't safe either.

Vania is young- Again with shipping, Vania is introduced as a 'young' princess who is celebrating her birthday, and young can mean anything from 17-23. I personally see Vania as 19, going on 20: young but coming out of her teen years. I have seen people who are so butthurt that Cole is shipped with a 'minor', so, coming the reasons why she's disliked for that kind of debunks the whole 'Cole's love interest' thing. If she were an intended love interest(she isn't) for Cole, then why would they ship a guesstimated 19/20 year old with a 17 year old girl?

I had an experience with a content creator who imma call C(iykyk) who has a Cole/OC ship. Cool, slay, even. I have a Cole/OC ship as well, more love for the big guy! And we were talking about Vania and C just...spewed disgust for her. Hating her personality, the fact that she's young, all the reason's above. It confused me and even made me mad. I told C I thought ColexVania was kind of cute. And C, flat out, without hesitation, replied 'Ew'.

My jaw fucking dropped because it was the pettiness for me💀. I'm not speaking to C anymore for very different reasons(iykyk) but that was my worst ever experiemce with Vania hate, and hell, It pushed me to be the avid Vania lover I am today!

Bro i just finished season 3 and there’s too much mileven ;-;

I mean I do think they’re cute but NOT ROMANTICALLY. Platonic eleven is where its at.

It makes me lose hope lowkey but then I remember that season 4 exists and Mike Wheeler is NOT straight at all. As straight as a mfin circle. You cant tell me he wasn’t infatuated with Eddie CMON its confirmed he even grew his hair out to be like him 😭

I get scared sometimes tho 💀 like what if they don’t break up. But they def will. Honestly as long as Mileven breaks up PLZ

Mileven just doesn’t have that chemistry that Lumax and Jancy and even Elmax and Byler have. And they never will and its so OBVIOUS like you don’t even have to be a Byler to notice it. Bro even one of my teachers said Byler has so much more chemistry than Mileven and she thinks will and Mike should get together and I love her for that 😭 and shes like in her late 40s sooo

It’s not even delusional to think it’ll be canon like there’s stuff everywhere cuz everything is so intentional. Its so POSSIBLE and in my opinion they ARE endgame 100% idc you cant change my mind.

I mean the szn is really good and I like the aesthetics too like the MALL and the OUTFITS r all so cool. it’s fun I mean I love Stranger Things but I just hate how apart Will and Mike were the whole season and the way Mike ACTED like dude chill tf out 💀💀 and then Will was hardly ever shown again, this is like the last few episodes of the season.

But ofc we have the famous “its not my fault you dont like girls!” Mike, your internalized homophobia is showing 🤭

Its funny cuz I always LOVE the first 2-3 episodes of each season and then obviously it gets sad 😭 and hella action too but its still good BUT I HATE WHEN CHARACTERS DIE LIKE POOR ALEXAI WTF?? He deserved better and so did Bob obviously.

Nobody better die in season 5 istfg. Like all of the OG cast has to survive PLEASE LET THEM LIVE.

I also watched the first ep of season 4 and I love Chrissy but ofc, vecna put her out of her suffering, and unfortunately I think Will is also gonna get vecnad in szn 5 cuz my boy has been thru it ALL. When is he not being hurt in some way he deserves nothing but happiness.

Like whats gonna happen after Will confesses to Mike? I mean I still can’t believe it, it’s actually happening and the painting and all that and then he’s gonna be so sad cuz he’ll think Mike doesn’t feel the same and I have SO many fanfic ideas honestly

Also I adore Elmax SO MUCH I honestly wish they could be canon I just love them they’re so prefect for each other. Max is the #1 Mileven anti lmao. I keep remembering how she wanted to be friends with Mike in szn 2 but he was so rude to her like BRO WTF. I still like Lumax but like…consider Elumax.

But El deserves better and she does deserve to be on her own away from Mike.

Also Robin’s coming out scene will never not get me I LOVE HOW SUPPORTIVE STEVE IS i freaking love Steve I mean like honestly who doesn’t?

I rlly love Robin and Vickie which r definitely ending up together (with Byler cuz they also kinda parallel each other) but I am very fond of Ronance I love it.

AND THEN JOPPER I ALSO LOVE THEM. Remember when they were like “theres nothing romantic between us we’re just friends.” And then the “we’re a team” and it reminded me so much of that one Byler scene in szn 4 which im pretty sure has been pointed out but yeah the PARALLELS.

And also Jancy had that “oh we’re just friends” moment before they got Murrayed like Jopper. Murray getting matchmaking all the Byers? PERIOD. He better finish that in season 5.

Also why do I lowkey ship Murray and Alexai like that wasn’t just me right? Fuck it

hi mobi mobiused thank you for all the loona blogging you do you’re a champion and a hero. i wanted to know what would your ideal loona album would look like in terms of songs and styling etc like if you got to be the creative and musical director on an album of theirs what would you love to see!

Thank you for the love and support it really means a lot to me. To be honest just because I know they would never do it and because Yves and I were talking about it the other night I would LOVE to see a j-idol style punk/grunge album from them. Now it really doesn't have to actually sound punk, (because 1. this doesn't work with twelve singers and 2. theyre kpop lets stick to that) it just appropriates the aesthetic from them. Ideally pulling from the j-rock scene way more than like present day cringe commercialised cleaned up bullshit you know what I mean. We can steal from the wardrobes of both Avril Lavigne and Tommy Heavenly6 though I'd be happy with that.

For the TT I'd like a shouty and fun song in major that makes you wanna sing along (Yeah sorry this is another 4th gen idol songs without a melody in the chorus LOL) like okay I'm seeing the vision it's a summer school's out anthem like mmm if I had to use examples I'd mix Billlie's Ring Ma Bell (which I thought had the right spirit but was unfortunately way underproduced) and OK please don't think I'm cringe but maybe like you know when Paramore's tone shifted and it became pop rock so yeah like Aint it Fun. So like that... Like a lot of rough guitar presence still but overall it's a good time cheerful mood you know. Maybe a little bit melodic in the chorus then I guess. And also it actually sounds good And thematically going back to the 'Schools Out' theme (And when I say school I mean way less school and way more summer holiday) we're gonna expand on what rebellion means to the girls in-lore. Like what exactly are our silent protests and what are they for. Why are the girls outsiders (aside from the obvious) and where are they taking it. Like I say every time someone asks me I would like it if they picked up the threads that were dropped in the previous MV. Like literally any semblance of continuity would be massively appreciated. And I also think that instead of a loud fuck the haters ITZY-core style rebellion (sorry I actually love ITZY but they're camp and LOONA's pretentious, so), I think building on the theme of Why Not where it's more about aligning oneself with your own values and moving forward in life independent from societal views, as opposed to that meme which is like >lives life in opposition to something >inadvertently makes entire life about said thing (you guys know what I mean. probably) would be a really good way to further it. And it doesnt have to be that lore-y its just like yeah this is a thing that fits with LOONA's brand.

And as for B-sides well they still need to do a real UK House song because flop that does not fucking count. Actually we need a Day & Night sequel forget UK house lets get UK GARAGE. Because it's fucking good and we need another. I think we can bring back a featured instrumentalist not necessarily guitar but like literally anything because getting Jungmo from TRAX on Love & Live went hard as hell even if the song itself was erm. Anyway. I also want it to be danceable because I fucking miss a classic LOONA intro (*says classic but they only did it for two TTs lol*). And I'm bored of explaining so here's the imaginary setlist 1. Intro ft. famous Korean musician 2. Kpop rock title track 3. R&B summer sunset cruising anthem 4. I actually kinda ended up liking the interpolation of Gloria Gaynor in After Like so maybe a vaguely disco inspired track because this is my imagination and I can do what I want 5. UK Garage track. Promoted Bside that shows off their vocals. Yeojin gets a part which shows off her vocals as a treat. Hyeju can have a rap with way too much english that fails to scan because I think it's cute. 6. Acid house track with trance influences and this one can be the fun one at concerts where they just kind of aimlessly hop around and pick up slogans from fans as if they're really gonna keep them

Noticeably NO FUCKING BALLADS.

I guess that's about it for me! I spend a lot of time on Tumblr reblogging aesthetic pictures of nature and animals that inspire me and bring me joy and I hope they do the same for you! I'll also share some political/current event commentary (I am a leftist/progressive) and write the occasional blog post.
