now that sonic prime is over im even more confused about people insisting that its canon and will tie into the game timeline somehow and its place in the timeline will be clear by time the show ends . like all the little contradictions that make it hard to believe this is the game universe aside. theres no undeniable in universe evidence that this is the game canon and not just a separate universe thats more faithful to the games than any of the other sonic tv shows are. and theres also no hint to where this would take place if it was canon aside from shadow and rouge being there but that doesnt really narrow it down much . this whole situation is just confusing and weird

i need people to start paying me for every time they tell me "oh but ur arts so good ur wasting ur talent u need to do it professionally" wrong i need to do art to draw beautiful characters that not a single other person cares about while feeding every ounce of love i have into my work or to convey thoughts & feelings beyond words and to even think of doing otherwise is to deny my own nature "oh but u can do what u want and then sell it" why is everything about money to you why cant u just enjoy things at what point in ur life did u forget how to have fun

Soulmates AU in which the red string of fate shows up when a life altering moment takes place between you and your soulmate. Like, Eren killing two grown man to save/help Mikasa kind of important. A moment that changes at least one of them.
And, you know, because this is about JeanMarco as always - these two dorks filling their gas, Marco telling him why he's a good leader and stuff and Jean watching him, shocked about what he's saying... Then he takes notice of the red string tying him to Marco and his eyes widen even more in shock, like it both made no sense and all the sense in the world. Marco doesn't even notice until he's done talking and sees Jean's reaction and his reaction is something similar to 'Oh', both because Jean was his soulmate and because that moment meant something important to Jean. And they're both so awkward, not knowing how to process this.

I’ve decided that if AE1 is anything less than excellent, I’m calling it quits with being an active K-pop consumer once and for all. Not bc I’m an annoying akgae that hates everyone else in the industry or whatnot, I’m just done with the constant disappointments and bad news and mismanagement that happens to pretty much every group, and extremely frequently to the three of my faves. I’ve tried getting into other groups but I haven’t found any that appealed to my specific tastes and standards AND have non-frustrating management. I’ve constantly make posts such as “[K-pop group with immense but unexplored potential] x [extremely talented non K-pop musician who takes the risks K-pop companies should] collab when?” for a good while. If all these artists outside of K-pop are giving me what I truly need and if I know my fave groups’ companies are gonna let me down pretty much every single time, what’s the point?

I struggle to find a way to say this without sounding like. malicious. but the unfortunate reality is that women who cling to the idea that "oh feminism is lame staying at home is so much better!" will, inevitably, learn the hard way why that is fundamentally untrue

i am extremely fucking tired of people solely blaming alicent for aegon like he didn’t have a fucking decrepit, irresponsible r**ist fuckwad deadbeat for a father. vise rys is at LEAST equally but actually more responsible for aegon turning out the way he is because the man is a fucking deadbeat to children he had no problem *making* and it’s incredibly transparent of people to act like it’s all alicent’s fault. like truly knowing it all or not, it’s equally bad because he was still being a fucking deadbeat and should’ve paid attention to his kids but too many of the people who watch this show act like alicent is the devil for not personally beheading her son or something. /sigh

Also the non-linear storytelling completely results in….no storytelling imo. Nintendo is so aware of the fact that players might not do things in the order they want (if they even do them at all) so all the information has to be really minimal and repetitive in case somebody only does one temple or whatever. TP and OOT and MM and literally every other Zelda game put you directly in the path of the main antagonists or have really drastic things happen while you’re there. Where TOTK/BOTW it’s like, everything really intense happened a super long time ago and you watch a video about it and then go back to hunting frogs or whatever

i go back and forth on rin's elemental nature. i really think fire suits her for thematic parallels to sasuke reasons and also i just think fire is cool and suits her whole. perception of her self and being weird about purpose deal. but water is also cool because i think rin deserves to bloodbend. elaine kind of beat symbolism where she controls other people to try and come to terms with how she can't control herself. the way to resolve this is to take the path of "nature can warp under stress or whatever" and let rin's og nature be fire, so she has that in the entire og timeline and also the team 7 sensei au (good because those are the ones where the sasuke parallels are the Strongest) and then in the akatsuki!rin au the whole almost dying thing somehow leads to her nature changing to water. which works well because that's the au where she is the weirdest about control and also masks. 👍
