He hasn't written a word worth writing in the past three months and his agent, Sam Wilson, forces him to take a break. Sam books him a rental beach house in a place called Plum Cove in Mass for three months, hoping to break him out of his writer's block. The owner, Steve Rogers, retired Plum Cove Police Captain, landlord and part time surfer is surprised to get such a lengthy off season booking but takes it anyway. He doesn't expect to spend a lot of time with the person renting his house, but then he wasn't expecting the storm to be that fierce.

Bucky gets asked to take it outside. Steve will have none of that, thankyouverymuch. . A tale of love and hope in unlikely places, sprinkled with a bit of PTSD, and the occasional sarcastic quip.

Because he knows that voice. He knows that voice better than any other voice on the planet and he’s missed that voice, so, so much.

18. Are you currently reading any WIPs?

Yes, although nowadays I do try a little bit more to wait until they’re completed to start reading... doesn’t always work XD but I’ve started some fics from the Bang that started posting, which is always nice because you can be pretty sure those will be completed XD Here’s a few WIPs that I’m reading atm and that update pretty regularly:

Stucky and Evanstan obviously! My OG tumblr ship is Harry/Louis from 1D, although sadly I don’t read much of it these days. I also sometimes read Damen/Laurent from Captive Prince, and even more rarely, Eric/Jack from Check!Please.

Yeah, sometimes I say I read fanfic if it comes up in the conversation.

I try to comment on everything I read that I liked, even if it’s the simplest thing.

29. Which fic have you re-read the most?

Boy, idk... One fic I did re-read recently and that I’ve read multiple times in the past is a HP one, “This Means War” by Jeconais. It hasn’t aged as well as I remember it, but it’s quite hilarious :P

In the Stucky fandom, I’ve re-read NEC once or twice at least, the Like O, Like H series by luninosity as well... There’s probably a ton of fics that I’ve read at least twice, but more than that? I can’t remember specifically...

thestuckylibrary is great! I don’t visit it regularly but they have an incredible tagging system, way better than mine XD

31. Have you ever sent a message to an author on tumblr to compliment them on their fic?

Probably? I tend to stick more to ao3 comments.

I don’t really know since my OTP already gets quite a bit of attention :P of course I wouldn’t say no to more Evanstan fic...

Would you ever write.......... something where the characters are transformed into dogs? Or a med school AU?

Oh, I could see the dogs AU actually being kind of fun - a Stucky AU where they get transformed because of some kind of magic gone wrong, and Steve ends up a golden retriever puppy that some family picks up right away and Bucky is a pitbull that ends up in a shelter, and somehow Nat and Wanda figure out what’s going on and are racing against the clock to try to save them, but of course can’t find Steve because he’s already in a home and don’t know how to change Bucky back. So they just end up with Bucky the rescue pittie, trying to make his life as happy as possible (even though he’s clearly still Bucky in dog form, and makes a point out of chewing the shit out of Sam’s shoes whenever he’s mad about something). And then one day they take Bucky to the dog park for... reasons, and Steve’s there. And they’re reunited just in time to figure out how to break the curse.

As for the med school AU.. I would love to read a med school AU, but I’m so ready to be past that point in my life that no, I’m not touching that one. Ask me in another 6 months if I’d consider a resident one, SCRUBS-style, perhaps :P

Summary: It’s Monday morning, and Bucky is just preparing a large mocha, extra whip for one of the many exchange students that have been finding their way into his shop lately, when the little bell above the door rings and a large man carrying a tiny baby in a papoose walks in.

Summary: Bucky lies to his mom about having a boyfriend so when his mom surprises him by coming to New York, Bucky panics and asks Steve to pose as his boyfriend. He was in no state for anything else and he’d gotten out for a good reason. His back had never really healed. He could go home and curl up on the couch with good food and better company and allow himself to finally let down his guard. Payday was next week and he’d finally have enough for his rent and the rest of his loan payment. But then the cycle would start again. All it took was one win to give him some cushion. (All it took was one wrong hit to make everything worse.) If he won he’d be that much closer to moving in for real. He’d be that much closer to marrying Bucky and their life starting for real. Summary: Steve was only pulled from his perusal of the sketchbook by Bucky plopping into his lap, wrapping his legs around his waist. “No more today.” “I thought you wanted me moved in.” “And you are. Let me enjoy the first afternoon I officially live with my fiancé. Please.” He stuck his bottom lip out and batted his eyelashes. Steve was quickly learning he was unable to deny Bucky anything when he did that. “Fine.” Steve dropped the sketchbook back in the box. Bucky shoved it away with his foot. Steve snorted, but then Bucky’s lips were against his, and the sun was warm as it streamed through the window, and he was happy.

Call It Dreaming (you can have my love) (Rated: NR, Words:15K)

Summary: “Let’s go get married, Buck.” “Let’s get married, baby.” Or, the one where they get married and throw shoes at people

Latke Love (Rated: NR, Words: 4K)

Summary: Becca conveyed the message. There was laughter in the background. “So, what can I do for you?” “I’m pretty sure he has the flu,” he said. “Normally, I’d make my ma’s chicken noodle, but I know how much he looks forward to Hanukkah and the food, and no matter how hard I try, he always kicks me out of the kitchen—” “Just say you have no idea what you’re doing when it comes to Jewish cuisine,” Becca said. “I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to Jewish cuisine.” Or, Bucky gets the flu over Hanukkah and Steve, with the help of his sister-in-law, makes him food for the Holiday

Summary: “You know I don’t normally do couples therapy.” “I know,” Steve said. He looked at Bucky, who stared at the ground. They hadn’t spoken since returning from Albany. He spun the ring on his finger. His ma’s ring. Steve buried the fresh wave of guilt and grief. “But I trust you.” “What I’m going to have you do is talk to each other,” Dr. Scheinbaum said. She looked at them both. “I’m here to mediate if needed, but the work needs to be done by you. It’s up to you to decide if and how your relationship moves forward.
