Forever thinking about Lloyd and his music taste. Kid stayed in his emo phase, even after he became the Green Ninja. It just shifted from how he dressed to what he listened to. Specifically, bc i hc the ninja to be my age (projecting lol) Lloyd grew up a little after them, late oughts. Like, probably born in 2008 ish. So he got the butt end of the grunge 20's 2k music. He Did get to experience a lot of the emo explosion of 2008- now? (idk if it's ended lol)

He listens to a lot of Linkin Park, Evanescence, Green Day, MCR, FOB, Paramore. All the big ones yk. But I think he Also likes obscure shit. You Know that ninjago has a killer scene. Think about how many times it's been destroyed. Think about people like harumi who Didn't turn out evil. They'd make bands about their experiences.

But yeah, Lloyd might be all bright and sunshiney on the outside, but in his cars/jets on the way to missions he is Jamming out. You can hear it from outside the vehicle and the others like to make fun of him for it. When They are the ones in the passenger seat with him, if he's really happy, he'll turn it up and sing along. Lloyd's actually a pretty decent singer! He's not like, get famous good, but he can sing along really well and he has a lot of fun with it when he doesn't think anyone is listening. Hearing him belt out these angsty lyrics always brings a smile to the other ninjas' faces bc it reminds them of the little emo lloyd they met back in s1 and how even though he's grown a lot, he's still the same kid at heart.
