Atlas and the burden of having to support the weight of the celestial globe on his shoulders.

if my posts were journal entries and pages of a diary and wax sealed letters from hundreds of years past, would you fall in love with me?
would you fall in love with the soul you saw peeking through typed words on a screen?

Seriously though white archeologists shut the f*ck up about brown people's complaints. Especially egyptologists. If you refuse to learn about how your field of study has severely harmed and continues to harm a region then you have no right to tell people that they have to learn about all the 'good' it brought on. White anthropologists too. Need I remind y'all what happened to the Yanomami?

Celestial or not celestial
This comical feast kills all the deceivers in town
Lures them with glory and a maledict crown
Celebrates them in the spotlight
But that’s not where it stops quite
It illuminates between the lines
Squeezes them like ripe limes
And they beg and plead and cry on their knees
Ask for forgiveness, now that everybody sees
How truthful they were
When their credibility thaws
And the stories you’ve heard
Of their inveterate flaws
Were actually veridically true
And their maid in the hall always kind of knew
They’re not as celestial as one might have hoped
But their demise sure is a celestial sight to behold

The way I wish I was an art or literature student, studying in a university with autumn trees and running late to the class very early in the morning with a cup of coffee on my left hand and the bag of books and paint brushes on right struggling to keep up with my pace . Now I am stuck in a place with all my dreams in a mess . The more I drifted away , more clearer it became what I wanted. But change is not a option for me now and I wish I could enjoy life with everything I have till now .

I kinda feel like the poc rep I’m seeing in the academia tags isn’t.... good? Not like offensive but... Like, I honestly can’t tell if it’s someone who is actually POC posting it for the sake of wanting to be included or if someone stole some selfies from another person to make an aesthetic post to seem more “inclusive”. This isn’t everyone of course but I see the same like, 5 pictures of that one black girl or Asian guy EVERYWHERE on ALL the POC posts like “Dark Academic POC uwu” and they ALL have the same skinny thin possibly lanky body shape.
It’s driving me up a wall 🙃
I think there’s only like, one or two blogs who have actual POC AND different body shapes. I don’t mean just one or two pictures, I mean a balance of everything.
(This goes for all academic aesthetics by the way.... actually, all aesthetics in general)

Time to start talking about jesus like an eurocentric butthole talking about any other religion.
"The cross is a popular way to symbolize Jesus, a popular demigod from one of the three major branches of the abrahamic religions. Members often wear this symbol around their necks as a talisman. Followers often take part in rituals that seem alien to outsiders such raising community funds for their leader's personal wealth on Sundays."
Girls don't want to have fun, all they want is hardbound/leatherbound vintage editions of classic books.
