I don’t know much about art…or artist, but I know what art can do: It connects people, gives us feelings either happy or sad, or it is just for fun, or to find a way to communicate, it is a way to express emotions and thoughts, a way to show other people how you see the world, sometimes it helps sometimes it leaves you frustrated but that is art.

I follow a lot of artist. I’ve seen many kinds of artist. There are traditional artists and digital artist. Sculptures and photographers. Self-taught artists and educated-artist. Yet it is always incredible how you guys create art. Even the smallest thing or the worst thing is art if you consider it art at your hands. Artists can create whatever on their mind if they are passionate. You can literally create something out of nowhere, like a god. That is something wonderful and horrifying at the same time.

I find all of this beautiful and I want to learn how to have this power too.

I want to learn how to draw.

But not just any drawing. I want to find my own style.

You probably noticed that most of artist have their own unique style. Like when you see a drawing you can understand who drew it. (Aha! this is @ikimaru or @ssavaart examples) I want to find my own unique style and for that I need to find how to find my style. I don’t even know if I want to do traditional art or digital art but maybe I’ll try both.

Anyways I want to learn how to draw any aspect of it. How to find my style. How to draw objects. I always found self-taught artists incredible and I want to teach myself too but I don’t know how or where to start.

So fellow reader/artist, can you help me at how can I start this journey of art. Where do I start? This is an important one. I have no genuine idea of where I will start. And how. And how do I find my style like @alessiajontrunfio found hers. If you can help by any means it would great and I would appreciate it so much. Because I have a curiosity for art and I think it’s time to understand it.
