dante... :). i'm sure everyone who follows me at least knows OF him fdjsklf. but he's a mercenary who specializes in the supernatural, mainly demons. he is sooooo silly but also so riddled with sadness and grief. i have an art board of him sitting on top of my aic box set rn

02. your favourite food from your culture.

fry bread my fuckign beloved.... it's such a comfort food to me especially when my dad makes it. also german style pretzels are always a joy. i love carbs 🫶

03. what your dream apartment / room / house is like.

a decent sized house that i can live in with my friends :). not too big but enough space to not be cramped. but i'd also settle for an apartment. also would love to have a spot to display my record player/record collection

04. your personal style or aesthetic.

i'm not as fashionable as i'd like to be ig? i'm broke and also get overstimulated by fabrics pretty quickly so i keep it simple for the most part. my clothes are usually soft and baggy since that's the most tolerable for me. oversized t-shirts and flannels, or hoodies. i usually wear sweatpants if i'm out but just loose pajama pants if i'm at home. but i'll occasionally wear stuff like this if i'm going out with friends or smth.

05. a happy memory.

so there's this quarry close to where i grew up that i went to with friends a lot before they moved away. we'd get food and go hang out on the peak or close to it. it was simple but i always really enjoyed it.

playing video games, writing, painting, watching movies/shows with my friends on teleparty, making edits, baking, etc

something from the book i so wish had been in the tbosas movie is the way snow thinks lucy gray is below him...and the fact that he never grows out of it (which doesn't mean he doesn't like her, he just also kind of despises her and people like her). when i reread the book i had just seen killers of the flower moon and snow and lucy gray's relationship was very reminiscent of ernest and mollie's relationship for me like when king hale asks ernest "can you stand [mollie's] kind?" even though their kind were doing unspeakable things to her kind? snow and lucy gray's relationship is very much like that to me and there's also the power he has over her by literally being responsible for her life and idk i feel like if you only watch the movie you can delude yourself into thinking he's somewhat overcome his prejudice against people from the districts by falling in love with a girl who isn't from the capitol when he never does he thinks they're savages from day 1 to day like 60 and he thinks it on day 55 too

I've been reading a lot of conspiracy theories lately for fun and it's wild, sure, a glimpse into the mind of an insane person, but honestly it does kinda get boring after a while once you recognize all of the tropes

It's a real thing that happens and it was a fear for me at first but now? I genuinely don't get how "conspiracy reading for fun" could act as a pipeline to being a conspiracy theorist, like are you stupid?? Were you already susceptible to this brand of thought??? Literally all of these are either odd interpretations of economics, wishful thinking, reboots of antisemitism, or just plain regular bullshit, and like it's really easy to see that, like all of this is dumb, people who believe this are dumb, it's absurd

Fantastic fiction though, these could be good books or games or movies, and like that's what they are and that's their primary audience, people who want to pretend they're the protagonist of a movie, of a grand plot, every bad thing doesn't just happen or are perpetrated some random disturbed people! It's an organized movement at the top of everything responsible for every bad thing ever to keep us in line! It can be a kind of anti-religion in that sense, malevolent gods are better than none

There HAS to be gods at the top of it all, who put ridiculous references to themselves in everything and monolithically control the entire world, because if no one is in control, then that'd be terrifying
