The final part of the Oldgame residents. Way overdue.
Jade is the merchant. Actually, she's a woman of many talents. But she prefers a quiet and peaceful job.
Quite an odd career choice in a kingdom like Oldgame.
The situation's actually way worse. The Guild doesn't like Jade at all. They might have something against kind and hardworking individuals. So, there's no peace for Jade in her field. But she's no slouch when it comes to countermeasures. She really can hold for herself, both in a fight and in her business. She also has a knowledge of poisons and a big supply of a sleeping potion just nearby...
Traits: Good, Dedicated, Guild Enemy.
What's-Her-Name is another princess, living in the kingdom. Though, she doesn't have any connection to the Oldgame royal family. Also, her own family is a huge mess, so the girl has to keep her distance from her own relatives. Quite terrifying, actually.
Still, despite her family issues (and her complete lack of understanding how democracy works), this princess is having the time of her life here. Her Highness runs a Peteran Church, helping everyone who needs her assistance. She also gets into adventuring and builds an earthworm colony in the monastery's garden. Quite a range of hobbies, for sure.
Traits: Adventurous, Entitled, Morose.
And that's it for the Oldgame kingdom. Finally.
Just don't forget something, if you want to download these sims. The file- and sim-names are in Russian. Also, you need "Pirates and Nobles" for these sims to function probably. Still, no need for any custom content. Yay!

Jill's Epic Political Adventure (in Healthcare).
Many wonder how Jill even gets to have a free time with all that workload and adventuring.
Currently she deals with the consequences of the local Clone War.
Dirk is training Julian the squire. This boy is very talented. He can't find the training dummy, just like his teacher.
Synchronized sword sharpening. It might be a metaphor for fighting, actually.
That very important pirate guy and his very important pirate parrot, about to get a physical examination from Jill.
Another very important pirate guy, about to get cruelly pranked by a guard during a medical examination by Jill.
Yes, patients are the main problem.
Remember Jill's workload? Yeah, it's huge.
And she's supposed to juggle some royal and political responsibilities at the same time!
What's-Her-Name, another royal, serves as an example of failing. Yikes.
This place is a mess. How are we supposed to complete "The Betrayal" in such environment?
Meanwhile, at the Cathedral. Dave spent all his money on lamps. He loves lamps.
Thankfully, no-one is here, so the guy is free to stare at lamps.
And when Dave gets tired of staring at his lamps, he hangs out with Jetpack.

The royal wedding was pretty epic.
But it's not like anyone was paying attention to the newlyweds.
Anyway, it was a beautiful ceremony and a pretty wild party.
Lara and Hocus don't really pay attention.
They already had their weddings.
Look, Dirk and Daphne are pretty synchronised. A sign that they were meant to be together.
Meanwhile, Hocus is conjuring something with his new fancy staff.
The first morning of the married life.
And a busy one indeed.
The lovers need to investigate some issue with the pirates. Which means adventure! A nice way to spend honeymoon.
The beach campsite is ready. And there's another one in the forest.

So, Jade befriended the sleep demon.
Why I'm not surprised.
At least she didn't try to marry him, unlike some merchant lady in red. I'm talking about you, Tulku.
What's-Her-Name was called to action. She couldn't care less about people falling unconscious.
Unless it's her friend Jade. She has a serious case of that sleeping sickness. The one, that makes the patient's head to become a torch.
Or maybe that's a new thing for the trendy crowd. And a royal like What's-Her-Name should follow the trends.
The other royals disapprove. Daphne hates when people lay on the floor of her castle.
Jill, who's a bit of a royalty herself, doesn't like this trend either. She's the one to deal with the consequences.
At least, her friend Dave supports her and says, that everything will be alright. What a good guy he is.
Dave proves his friendly qualities by visiting his friends regularly. This time, arriving to have a lunch with Dirk, our handsome priest met his best friend Jetpack inside.
That's kind of ironic, because he's actually a Cruel and Solitary character, who Loves Family too. Dave is a mess. And he knows about it.
Dave is on a mission to bring diplomatic connections to the kingdom. But he has other responsibilities too. Like giving sermons to the enlightened crowds.
And Dave hates crowds.
But his appointment has a silver lining. He is supposed to work with Lara, his sweetheart. Maybe, that's the right moment to do what he wanted to do a long time...

Lara got into stocks again.
This time she was caught jumping over the city wall, riding a strange construction (presumably, made by Jetpack).
Jetpack wasn't caught yet. He even had no idea what happened to his friend. He was hanging out with a very unhappy Dirk.
Then he decided to relax under the clear blue sky. I wasn't even playing him.
My blacksmiths have such a quirk. Thysis was doing the same all the time.
Vinyl was touring the country. She gave a sold-out gig at the Reception Hall.
Daphne was trying that strange thing called "diplomacy". It was nice for a change. She still prefers adventuring, though.
Jade was a referee in the International Synchronised Parroting Championship. She works hard for the money.
That's when Lara was arrested again, this time for bringing Winston at the parroting championship.
Turns out that people if Oldgame really hate her.
Probably, because of all these artifacts she took illegally.
She wasn't feeling well, so she fell unconscious. And had no idea that her teammate was disqualified too.

Jetpack finally can have his revenge and annoy Lara and Dave about the upcoming wedding. Mwahaha.
Talking about friendship goals.
Inventing is Jetpack's passion (alongside Jill). This time it's all about the birds.
Meet Laser, Jetpack's pet invention.
Finally, Hocus is here to test Jetpack's other works. But only after an invitation.
Now it's time for the wizard to be busy.
Two blonde boys are promoting their services for the citizens of Oldgame.
Then everyone goes to have a free time.
Both guys decide to take a walk.
Hocus is practising magic in the wilderness.
While Jetpack goes to see his friend, who turns out to be busy right now.
Strangely, people walk away from What's-Her-Name's evangelizing.
For some reason, her speech makes Jetpack sick too.
Time to come back and continue their quest.
Or meal.
Or spellcasting.

Vinyl and Clarisa Darktide still performing a new set of plays. The pirate leader turned out to be quite a good actress.
The crowd (well, What's-Her-Name, the only person watching) enjoys it.
For some reason, people are too busy training at the Training Yard. They could have watched the performance instead.
But that's not a problem for the acting troupe.
This is a problem. Glitching into each other, becoming one.
But the ladies found the way to continue. The way of a true actor.
Meanwhile, Daphne has her Royal Builder guarding her sleep.
And Hocus is too busy talking to plants to care about people.
That's not what they tried to teach you in the Academy, wizard boy.
Soon, he and Jetpack should join forces to test the new invention. But now Jetty is occupied with something more important and someone very beautiful.
Probably, it's the most important day of his life.

Dirk is still the hope of the kingdom.
How nice.
What's-Her-Name went on a fishing trip. She found an earthworm and named him Jim.
Lara still raids the post boxes for some reason. Maybe she ordered a legendary knife, and it got lost.
The court life is still at it's finest.
Hocus doesn't care about the fights and affairs, he just wants to eat something. I suppose, this place was called a dining room for a reason.
These fights are the reason why Vinyl's second kingdom-wide tour has failed. Completely. Even the ones who attended her gigs chose to duel instead of listening to music.
Maybe it's a sign that Vinyl should change a setlist.
Jade got herself a feathered friend. Her name is Kitana.
Vinyl was caught doing a power walk with Jill.
Some people say they might be clones.
Jill actually has a lot of work to do. There's being a lot of accidents in the town lately.
No way this lady fell unconscious for no reason.
And this nobleman accidentally hurt himself with his sword. Talking about weapon safety.

Dirk is the chosen one.
He's going to participate in a very important tournament.
And Hocus is about to help his chivalrous friend.
Well, when he'll stop to glitch.
Dirk is training hard to please his Lady.
He frequently gives fighting lessons to kids.
He also tutors Julian, even when he needs to rest.
The first lesson is about finding a training dummy.
Lara doesn't need lessons. Unlike her peers, she's very much capable of finding a dummy herself.
Oh, how she hates the straw.
Somewhere nearby What's-Her-Name writes another serious document. As a runaway princess of her own nation, she's supposed to keep her hand on the pulse.
Hocus got himself a magical parrot. It's an amazing companion for a wizard. Trolodon - that's the bird's name - is extremely strong. He is also good in attacking the Council's members.
Dirk also has amazing relationship with his hawk, Bertram. Together they pose for the portrait in the tavern. It gives Vinyl an opportunity to try her new play in front of an audience.
And then it's time to relax, in each own way. The boys sleep at the Training Yard. They both want to be that ready for the Tournament.

The Princess' Dream Castle is the theme for Daphne's home. It's very pretty. People love it, especially when it comes to places to sleep.
Vinyl participates in the healthcare improvement program, so she organises a festival alongside a peasant protester.
Together they explain the importance of a good healthcare system.
People think that this performance is deadly.
Meanwhile, Daphne is doing her boring royal responsibilities.
She dreams about another adventure, but her duties require her to stay here and work.
Sometimes she has an opportunity to sneak out of the castle, usually with the help of Dirk. Together they go to see different places, fight different monsters and help different people. This is absolutely fascinating.
During that days the court is too occupied with duels and rumours. Vinyl uses this to her advantage, encouraging people to make bets.
Actually, I'm done with Oldgame. It was fairly easy and pretty quick to complete. Sadly, I couldn't get "Noble Nuptials" and "Dread Pirate Romeo". But I'll try it next time. I also have issues with getting "Sovereign Study". I don't understand how this achievement works at all.
At least, I got "Actin' a Fool", "Stage Actors Guild" (thanks to Guy and Vinyl), "Well Done", "Decree Spree" and "It Won't Last". For the latter I played with Jade. She's a merchant and a Guild Enemy to boot. It makes the game a lot more different for a character like her. I actually missing that after giving her a Legendary Trait (and I don't even remember, which one; think it was a Natural Leader).
Talking about the achievements. "Legendary!", "Underdog", "King of Kingball", "The Chosen", "...to Eternity" and "Edict Addict" are also in my collection. I'm not even mentioning other territorial achievements. But that's for another time, along with "Pirate Polygamy". That's a very Questionable story.
Also I'll try to complete "Pretentious Pillagers", "Humbly Superior", "Dastardly Devout" and "Riches to Rags". That's where I'll need my priests. What's-Her-Name is already here, ready to convert. Dave will arrive soon. Hopefully, he'll marry the noble spywoman of his dreams.
Well, he did. Let's just pretend nobody knows how it will turn out.

The last time we checked, Lara and Jetpack were hanging out on the street in the middle of the night, telling jokes to each other.
But that's not all the activities that Lara had to do. She performs scientific experiments with the light.
Or plays tricks on the people who entered her house without invitation.
Or spars with Daphne. Somebody needs to keep the monarch in good physical shape.
Lara never forgets about archaeology, treasure hunting and tomb raiding. She's into that for the thrill, not for the money. Nothing can beat getting another ancient thingie in her collection.
She's fine with breaking the law for that opportunity.
Jetpack, her friend, is mostly a law-abiding citizen. He's not into thrill, except the thrill of invention.
Also, he's a big fan of parties. Sometimes it looks like he's enjoying them a bit too much.
But only if it's the peaceful kind of parties. Jetty is not a violent person at heart, unlike this bunch of people at the square.
Nothing surprising in the fact that many of them end up in the stocks. Well, Lara does it too, bit she's a completely different case.

Following Dave's lead, Lara got herself a bird too. His name is Winston, and he's her hawk butler.
Lara's main hobby is archaeology. She travels, digs and searches for incredible artifacts. She prefers to do it alone, but sometimes it's okay to have a company.
A pirate lady appeared, which was a source of a huge discomfort for the townsfolk. They turned out to be right in their suspicions. Lara found out about that, when she got punched in her face by a sword.
And this then she got in stocks for resembling a ghost. The constable was happy about that. Turns out, that the law forbids such activity, because it might be offensive to actual ghost.
The law about a "ghost-face" is about five hundred years old. It doesn't stop the royal advisor to make Lara perform such illegal activity for the sake of the kingdom.
But Julian and Jade have no idea about Lara's current situation. They joyfully perform synchronised whittling, unaware of their friend's misery. Which is strange, because she's just few meters apart, in plain sight.
Jetpack, one of Lara's closest friends, has no idea about that too. But he's too busy working. He's a blacksmith, inventor and technology geek overall.
Lara's best friend Jill is busy too. She's at the Clinic, performing her usual responsibilities. Right now she's greeting Vinyl and What's-Her-Name before diagnosing them.
Later she will have the time to comfort her tired friend.
Jetty will do that too, even if at night. He's that busy.

Let's start with Miranda from the kingdom of alternatives. She'll be a bard. I like her new looks, but the original one is the best for me.
I didn't want to change her hairstyle, because it's perfect.
She's one of my favourite sims.
But the point is to show the heroes of Oldgame. And later we'll (hopefully) come to see their adventures.
Dirk is the knight on Daphne's service. He's a brave and chivalrous man, cursed to get into trouble (and it's very easy to get in trouble, if you are around someone like Daphne). Right next to him is Hocus, a puny wizard, who wants to study and stay away from any kind of adventure. Which is hard, when almost half of the heroes is made of adventurers.
I thought it was a great choice for the "Hard Workers" ambition.
Speaking of adventurers, here's What's-Her-Name. She's a Peteran Priest, but an Entitled one, and an Adventurous to boot. What a combination.
Another redhead is Vinyl, and she's a fun-loving bard with a gambling problem. But not an adventurous one indeed. Though she has no choice in that regard.
Probably, I have a thing for thrill-seeking girls. Jill is one of them. She's a kingdom's busy physician, who loves the great outdoors.
Jetpack is your typical friendly neighbourhood inventor (or blacksmith, in that case). He and Jill have matching bandanas, which indicates something. Like the fact that I couldn't find proper hairdos for them.
Lara and Dave don't have matching anything, but seem to be quite alike in certain aspects. Even if she's a misanthropic spy adventurer and he's a solitary guy with anger issues. Also, he lives at the Cathedral. What a cruel fate for a person like him.

It's been a while since I posted something about "The Sims Medieval". Heck, I wasn't even playing for months!
Still, I want you to meet some newcomers. Of the Canopian kind, that's it.
Don't forget, that the names are in Russian. And, I suppose, you'll need "Pirates and Nobles". Also, I was inspired by a certain fighting game.
Let's start with Sienna, the bard. She's a total cutie.
Though life wasn't kind to her. Sienna comes from a long line of musicians. Most of her family perished in a whale-involving accident. Determined to continue her family's legacy, Sienna became a bard and part-time investigator. She works hard to find out what the heck is wrong with the Canopian flesh-eating whales.
You can call her The Singing Detective.
Traits: Whale Ate My Parents, Good, Weak Constitution.
Download
One is good, but there's more...
And I'm not even started talking about the Canopian boys. There's a bunch on the way.
But now we have a girl. Her name is Fil (or, rather, Filia), and she's a Peteran Priest.
Fil might be a newcomer in the city. She doesn't really know. In fact, she doesn't seem to have memories at all.
Sienna's attempt at Investigating brought her close to a strange, but friendly girl with a severe case of amnesia. They became fast friends. Fil didn't seem to have a place to live, so Sienna used some of her connections to find her new friend a place to stay. That's how Fil ended up in the Monastery.

Fil didn't seem to have a place to live, so Sienna used some of her connections to find her new friend a place to stay. That's how Fil ended up in the Monastery.
She quite enjoys her life, actually. Fil is kind, friendly and compassionate. A perfect candidate to become a priestess.
Her past is the only thing that bothers her. Is it true that she lost her memory in a whale-involving accident?
Traits: Friendly, Excitable, Glutton.
