SYNESILK'S SUIT.

liam's spider-suit is a relatively dark, simple design at first glance. primarily black, they're able to keep to the shadows and surprise opponents. its simplicity also helps to not overwhelm liam, limiting the amount of color and sensory input they're exposed to while out as synesilk. all the webbing on their suit is just as dark, with certain parts of it reflective and standing out brightly when lit just right.

there's very colorful pops of yellow and orange, primarily in the form of the symbol across their chest and in bands around their elbows, knees, and shoulders. against their suit, the colors often produce somewhat of a glowing effect. the front sides of their hands are multicolored, with half the hand being a yellow color.

the choice of yellow reflects liam as the yellow string in the dynamic between them and roxy, who is a proud electric blue.

liam prefers to wear shoes with their suit, finding that it helps keep the suit in better condition due to the use. that, and BAREFOOT SUIT? IN NEW YORK? pass. they usually prefer a darker colored shoe, ideally black, but they're not always so lucky considering it's up to whatever the second hand stores have in their size. occasionally, they'll dye shoes if they can.

As someone who personally disliked the fandom characterization of Mangey as a child who is basically a wild animal

Which of course meant that (even though this standard was not applied to other equally feral boscage maze characters) if you even dared to have ships involving Mangey it was considered "beastiality"

Season 3 was so vindicating for me. Like as someone who always characterized him as selectively mute/largely nonverbal and with less palatable autism, it was so great to see the proof in the pudding that he is just as capable of being more than just the group dog thought like any other mobian and the hilarity of him being surprisingly adept with technology. Like god those few Sails/Mangey interactions were so so good

If Chosen rescues Gold, how does Mango react? That a criminal decided to risk everything to save his kid and didn't even ask for a reward?

i mean, he basically owes his life to Chosen after that, but Chosen absolutely hates that and tells him not to worry about it, because they actually really don't like having people feel beholden to them--

gold does end up admiring chosen though which is very confusing for others and also kind of unfortunate because admiring a criminal isn't always a good look (but people mostly just assume it's sort of a kids-will-be-kids thing

also now that i think about it, if i really wanted a more accurate timeline i think that once things start calming down for chosen and dark is around where gold dies (i imagine it happened like, 8 years before s3???? so it could work with a little stretching)

i don’t talk about personal things on the internet much anymore but i’ve been sleeping with this guy for a little over a month now i think and when it started we were both like both totally content with nothing serious/just fwb, and we both still seem totally fine with that, but like… he comes over and like 95% of the time we make food together in my apartment… he stays after for a little bit and we cuddle and he has me show him my favorite episodes of grey’s anatomy (which he insists he hates but he teared up at one last time)…. when he first gets to my place we hang out and watch shitty tv and he plays with my cat who Loves Him….
