-we all know how she's not one of the best cooks. so, you being one makes it a bit better.

-still, if you wanted to cook WITH her, then the food would probably just have to be macaroni.

-not gonna judge, i love it js as much as she does.

-you decided to get prepared one day, to cook together, and prepare a meal for one another!

-although you know that the only options you had were macaroons and macaroni, where she only had one option.

-so you started cooking macaroons.

-it is always SO fun to cook with her. she's always smiling and talking with you, talking about the most random things ever.

-of course, if you don't like talking much, she'll talk less but not be quiet entirely.

-know that you're gonna get a few kisses during the tiem being.

-and when you finally finish both of your meals, and prepare them for eachother, furina literally has a new shine in her eyes.

-when she tried it, she mumbled something that she thought you wouldn't hear

-whatever she made you, it was really decorated and the only thing that you knew that it was some type of cake.

-and she recognized that your's is a cheesecake almost immediately.

-when she tried it, she started talking to you, blushing a bit, about how much she's grateful for you.

-alright, you start cooking something that everyone likes, cupcakes! but the ones that you were able to make for her were cherry ones!

-arlecchino wasn't entirely quiet throughout the cooking either. it was either you or her talking with some kisses that can't be missed. she talked about her kids and her missions, while you either talked about her work in return, or about why you still love her despite it all.

-when you finish cooking and come to the dinner table with her, there's not much reaction on her face yet, unlike your's which was clearly happy.

This little cinnamon roll is unfortunately worried about you. A lot. To the point it can get a bit annoying but it is only coming from a place of love. Bear that in mind please before you snap at him and he pulls the saddest face ever.

Introverted he can deal with, to an extent. He doesn't care if you don't like talking to people in public as long as you like talking to him.

You being quiet takes a little getting used to but as long as he knows (and he will over time) that you can speak to him about anything and that you just usually don't have much to say to other people, he really doesn't mind.

Tiredness is a whole other issue that Vasco will try to fix. Sleep schedule, diet, exercise.

Yes yes, you falling asleep on his shoulder and him staying frozen for hours until you finish napping is adorable. Though to be honest, being tired all the time isn't healthy, so it's fair that he does want to figure out why.

If it's stress or school/work pressures, then Burn Knuckles may or may not get wind of this. They also may or may not threaten your teacher/boss to stop working you so hard.

Falling asleep on him was cute and novel the first few times. Especially the way that you're comfortable enough to just relax and drift off with him. It got old pretty quick though.

you held the trolly as naomi stared down intensely at the list in front of them. katie’s writing was written lopsidedly on the crumpled page.

katie had written out a list of ingredients for a cinnamon roll recipe she wanted to try. you, having the baking skills, took the offer in making them alongside naomi who wanted to help out.

katie sent you two on your way quickly. leaving the tourbus with a small piece of paper in hand to go on a side quest that consisted of going to a random grocery store to find the stuff that you unfortunately did not have at the bus.

you weren’t really sure how you were going to make the cinnamon rolls but that was a problem for future you.

“are you sure this is isle four?” you push the trolly down the isle, following naomi closely. they were on a mission. paper held tightly as they snapped their head left and right to look at the different foods stocked onto the shelves.

“i think this is the frozen isle” naomi turned back to stare at you with a deep frown on their face. “baby i’m not lost - i know where i’m going” they whined.

“not doubting you. it’s just.. i don’t think sugar would be where frozen pizzas are” naomi picks up their pace, turning the corner onto the next isle. you push the trolly behind them.

“i can’t even read what this is” they scratched their neck with a sigh, eyes scanning around the isle. “we need eggs” the tattooed brunette picks up their speed again, speed walking down the isle as they scan through all the different items in the shelves

“why don’t we swap? i’ll take the list and you push the trolly?” you suggested. naomi stopped, turning slowly to face you as they squinted their eyes.

“i know what im doing.”

“are you sure? because it seems like you’ve gotten us lost three times now” you gave a small smile.

“i didn’t.. i just- it’s a big ass grocery store- why do they need three isles dedicated to sauces and two floors ?”

“can’t we ask employees?” you admired naomi’s determination. it was honestly a bit funny and endearing.

“i suppose” naomi shrugged their shoulders, crossing their arms with a frown . “we only have two more things to get then we can head back to the bus. sugar, eggs and salt- so scratch that. three things instead” naomi mumbled to themselves. running a hand through their hair with a sigh.

Random headcanon time (hope you don't mind!)

- Alastor struggles with Hyperindependence and even if he needs help he typically just.. isn't able to ask for help

- Lucifer absolutely enjoyed the independence Lilith had but he himself struggles with independence because as an Angel he was made to make a system function and not focus on his own life. But now he doesn't have that single minded purpose and actually has to exist! Wow! (He's a lot better now)

- Lilith is the type of person to act really fancy but will also lock her room and then dance to ridiculous music (because she's always amazed at the range of music humans have made. It's like a guilty pleasure?)

- ROSIE IS THE BEST THAT'S NOT A HEADCANNON I JUST THINK THAT IF I WERE TO GET ADOPTED BY ANYONE IN HAZBIN HOTEL SHE'D BE MY PICK

Ohmigosh! Lucifer is a problem-solver and a tinker! He was like a muse in Heaven, singing to people and inspiring them, but when it comes to actually making big world decisions, he was always pushed aside because of how 'weird' his ideas were! He was not what he was supposed to be and Lilith was not what she was supposed to be. And he loves her passion and that he can serve her ideals! But being alone he is completely directionless. With Lilith he was using whatever creativity was left in him on more family orientated things like a theme park. But without her it's just... ducks, the only thing he is still capable of enjoying!(

Aww Lilith acting all high and mighty and enjoying the power she holds, but also loving all human music! I can imagine her dancing is, well, like Hop Pop's in that locked room xD (and then Lucifer joins in like Sylvia xD)

Do you think Daniel sometimes loses his sanity because despite all of it, he really finds Armand adorable and cute sometimes? Because I think he does 😭 like yea yea we get it Daniel, he’s all evil and dead and 500 years old and scary and manipulative, okay, but we all know you collapse to your knees for those little cherub cheeks and those enormous doll eyes in an instant girl 😭

oh daniel is DEFINITELY weak for him being cute but i feel like it's more situational.

like sure, when armand wants something (like yet another toy to destroy, or another pack of cigarettes to toss in the garbage disposal) he can totally turn the big eyes on daniel and give him the puss in boots face. but daniel knows he's putting it on, he gives him what he wants but he's very cognizant of the fact that armand is charming him and he's rolling his eyes as he says yes.

it's the moments armand lets his guard down that get him.

like when he wakes up cranky and hungover, only to stumble into the kitchen and catch armand hunched over a recipe book, trying his damnedest to make daniel toad-in-the-hole for breakfast. and his eyes are all squinted in seriousness and he's biting his lip like a mortal- that is cute, that makes daniel melt inside and forget his pounding headache for a minute.

or when armand is perched on the arm of the couch like an actual gargoyle, trying to read daniel's book over his shoulder. and daniel points out he could just sit down next to him on the sofa, but instead armand slides right into his lap without saying a word- adorable.

or, OR, when armand asks to participate in modern mortal 'getting ready for bed rituals' and puts on one of daniel's t-shirts, pulls back his hair and stands at the sink beside daniel brushing his teeth? that's it, put the announcement in the papers, daniel molloy, dead at 29 of cute vampire brushing his fangs and making faces at the disgusting flavor of cinnamon toothpaste.

so yeah, i think it's when armand is acting the most normal and the most like a mortal boyfriend that gets him and not necessarily his looks. because sure, he's gorgeous, but daniel always focused on his behavior more than his face and in my heart of hearts i feel armand loves him for that ♥

Yn being able to silence people with just one look, like Kaveh is busy excitedly explaining someone and yn is behind him glaring at the person he's talking to. Giving them the look to dare interrupt Kaveh and see what happens.

Kaveh knowing yn likes naps while leaning on him or on his lap, he just looks like such a dork whole he pets their heads while they sleep.

Especially since Kaveh is someone who wants to hold his loved ones close and would bend himself in order to accommodate his loved ones. After all you chose to spend your time with him of all people, and he would do everything in his power to never lose you.

Funnily enough, you do the same but take another approach to it. You protect him wherever you can and no matter what it would take.

I could imagine Reader being a mercenary and therefore as bold and straightforward as they are. Would also explain why they're so protective of Kaveh.

The entire scenario of just sending death glares to someone, so they don't even dare to interrupt your precious cinnamon roll of a boyfriend is so adorable, oh my gosh! 😭

When Reader sleeps on his lap he can't help but smile from ear to ear and blush a little. He'd drape a blanket over your shoulder and would ensure you're comfortable.

-Chen Gong greeted you both as you led Lu Bu into the hot pot restaurant, waving you over to the table he had gotten, beaming, “I ordered plenty of meat for us!”

-Lu Bu gave him a grin, and being the only other person that didn’t mind Lu Bu’s smile, he wasn’t afraid, seeing it more as praise and happiness.

-Anyone looking at your table couldn’t understand the mismatched trio seated there, you and Chen Gong were chatty and bright, while Lu Bu was silent and scary looking, but seeing him with the two of you, he didn’t seem so scary, he almost seemed like a stoic father.

-Lu Bu cracked a grin when you put some vegetables into his bowl, “Eat some veggies too!” only you and maybe Chen Gong could get away with that.

-But then again, that’s why Lu Bu liked you, you weren’t afraid of him, you just treated him like a normal person, because to you, that’s all that he was.

okay so I‘M FINALLY READING SWORD CATCHER AND I HAVE THOUGHTS

I‘m only about halfway through but I need to rant

- it‘s incredible how well cassie manages to lend a unique voice to each of her characters every single time. she just doesn’t miss does she?

- lin caster is the awesomest girl. i just love her because she reminds me of other cc girls in the way that she is kind of a very typical heroine on the surface but you can actually feel her emotions and she’s very believable & flawed & human and you just can’t help rooting for her + i love her friendship with mariam

- everyone is bisexual & it’s completely normalised i love it here

- lin & conor??? apparently they are the flagship which I know because I took a peek at the tag after they had two scenes together because the ENERGY OMG

- ahh yes, conor 😌 another pretty man with issues who’s in a lot of trouble and likes to cover it up with sarcasm, pompous behaviour, fancy clothes & vanity- you just can’t help but love it

- but also he‘s the biggest prick and i want him to have some sense beat into him by everyone around him

- like he qualifies for a huge growth arc but it could also go downhill and turn into sth ugly

- anyone had a weird sense of déjà vu about him and lin after that one little excerpt about adessa and suleman? like, she’s an ashkar with probably immense magical potential let’s be real i see where this is going and he‘s a prince (future king) with marivent blood 🤔🤔🤔

- kel & conor remind me of matthew & james but if there was a big power imbalance and a everything is a little more fucked up 🙃

- generally the way power & power dynamics are portrayed and handled is very interesting i like it

- I need more of her but as an individual not just through kel‘s pov, so far i’m not very big on whatever is being hinted at with her and kel

- I adore merren just like everyone else, he‘s kind of giving a weird mix of christopher/matthew/wylan and I‘m here for it. plus: autism coded character yeass

- also nice to see some jewish rep. (i did not know cassie was jewish before lol) the ashkar are really interesting (& as far as their treatment by the rest of the world goes at times infuriating😤) to read about and add a lot of depth to the world building.

- i love how we see the complexities of their culture portrayed through lin who on the one hand is deeply ingrained in it and holds/has received a lot of love & care for/from her own people while also having been wronged & ostracised by them and how both can be true simultaneously

- as someone who‘s very familiar with multiple romance languages the languages in this book are incredibly entertaining to me

- SO MANY SECRETS & political intrigue hehehe rubbing my little hands together can’t wait for all this to escalate (because it most certainly will) 😈

bottom line

I’m really glad i finally started reading this.

it took me a while to get into it & I’m still holding out on a final judgement since it seems very slow but i’m a patient reader and i appreciate a good setup.

also I want a creepy black crocodile pool in my house now.

I can ship Satharion because Sathia will kick Tharion's ass and this man needs a LOT of that. The reason Feyre/Lucien would work so well is because Lucien is hella smart and not afraid to call out Feyre on her stupidity (the amount of times he has bailed her out omg). If Feyre and Tharion were a thing, they'd die within a week of stupidity. Literally.

A Parade of Providence Act III

This finale was so good!

First of all, the animated cutscene (that we partially saw in the trailer) was awesome, it’s so cool seeing the characters using their powers like that (if only we could fly for that long with Wanderer 😭)

Then this whole thing with Kaveh, I’m so happy that he won the competition, but more than that I’m so happy that we saw so much character development for him in this single event.

Sometimes I like these events more than Story Quests for characters because we see more interactions with other characters and a lot of personal and emotional focus on them. This was sooo good!

The fact that Kaveh donated the money, but he still got something out of that card lol. I get him, sometimes it feels wrong to charge money to friends but that person may feel it’s unfair to get it for free so you have to accept their kindness too.

(When Cyno said that Alhaitham was in their hearts I actually laughed out loud, I didn’t expect such a corny line from him)

Like I said before, I’m starting to really like the Sumeru cast. Cyno is very funny now and has good chemistry with Tighnari, Collei is a cinnamon roll, Kaveh is so wholesome and his bond with Alhaitham is interesting and priceless in terms of humor. I had such a great time.

It was also good seeing Nahida, and I KNEW IT, she wants Kuni to go to the Akademiya and get an education. Oh my God I laughed so hard at his reaction, their relationship is another great one that I’ve come to adore. Another piece of development for our favourite Hat Guy.

And that extra scene...

(I saw them and went “Oh god they’re arguing again”)

It was such a good scene for them. We get some resolution on what happened to Kaveh’s father, and some kind of understanding between the two of them that feels very nice. Alhaitham is so hard to read, he has less emotions than a potato, but in the end you can tell he’s a nice guy as well.
