okay so like, vale and xavier dont have posts just bout them, but everythin bout em are in their name tags, whitch are the ice queen vale and xavier monet

cus i cant chose a single thing to ramble bout, just take my out of context random ramblins

yes xavier and vale are basically immortal, or at least as long as they arent directly killled, whitch is already hard and the fact that they can heal themsekves faster doesnt help.

no they werent just born w their respective magic, they were given it and also at the same time cursed w it, leadin em to live for hundreds of years, constantly rulin the kingsom, never restin, always knowin that they are too feared to be killed by anyone else than a fool

both xavier and vale were raised from childhood to be what their parents wanted them to be. vale was always ment to be the queen of the kingdom, he didnt have a choise to be anythin else, and xavier was always ment to be vale's guard, never lwaving his side, havin to be ready to die for him at all times.

while vale had to deal w the pressure of his only purpose of bein alive bein a good queen for his people, xavier had to deal w him bein basically only a sacrifice for vale, havin to guard vale at all times, makin sure he doesnt end up takin his own life or hurtin anyone else

yes vale very much did end up basically kidnappin sumone, no i wont go into it here cus it deserves to have a whole ass other post on itself

xavier does have many scars on her body, as even tho he is immortal, her body does leave scars. be it burn scars of just simple blade ones.

yes i do have whole ass pintrest boards for vale and xavier and all my other ocs, no yhat doesnt matter

yes they can control their respective element, for vale, thhat is ice/snow and for xavier, its fire

they do have fangs and horns. they can hide them, but they do show ip when they feel strong emotions

their eye white parts are slightly discolored. vale's bein a but on a grwy/blue side instead of just white and xavier's bein slightly yellow/orange. agian, hidable but still show up when strong emotions are there. did i mosyly do it for the extra razzle dazzle? most deffinatlu, but i shall not be jedged today

What do you think of Sarpedon? Do you think he deserved better?

i mean,, in war, i think everyone deserves better. by comparison though, i personally think that Sarpedon was a lot better off than a lot of the others. 

he fought valiantly, and died bravely. his corpse was rescued and cleansed by Apollo himself, and then returned to Lycia by Thanatos and Hypnos. Zeus too honoured his son’s death with a dramatic shower of rain that was actually blood. 

this is a lot more than what most of the other noble warriors were granted, so all in all, i do feel bad that Sarpedon had to fight in a war that really had nothing to do with him (he only fought because Troy was their ally), and he definitely did deserve to live a better, longer life, BUT- as far as Greek tragedies go, his death was not the worst.

If you were to pick one thing you didn’t like about tsoa what would it be?

Oh gosh.... there’s a lot.... don’t get me wrong, I love TSOA... but there were scenes I do wish were a little different. Though if you ask, if I had to choose one, it’d have to be how the reoccurring theme in Madeline’s books that portray the parents of the characters being horrible, terrible, unfeeling characters. Not just because I’m a mom, but because a lot of people think Thetis was a terrible person, Menoetius was a terrible person.

Thetis wasn’t fond of humans, that much was true. But she had to endure something traumatic, she was raped and betrayed not just by Peleus, but she was betrayed by Zeus. Who apparently loved her once. Thetis however, loved Achilles. I mean, no mother wants to see their child die before them. When Patroclus passed, she wept for him and for her son’s fate. She did everything in her power to bring Achilles the glory he so wanted.

And with Menoetius, there were stories where he took Patroclus to Phthia to save him from being executed. Patroclus being Achilles therapon, probably had something to do with Peleus and Menoetius’ connections. They did travel in the Argo together... that’s just my speculation though. Patroclus’ name means, Honor of the Father. I think that’s pretty significant since Pat was exiled, but in the story where Menoetius smuggled him away, means he is still his honor.
