That's a pretty fair reaction seeing a legend in action.

I thought of something after I got out from seeing The Marvels
Spoiler alert (kinda??)
.

...
Now that we know Kamala’s bangle is one of the Quantum Bands?? Wtf is Marvel gonna do for Quasar when they eventually introduce him to the MCU? Are they gonna give him another pair of bangles for shits and giggles or what?

These were cool panels, a lot of interesting things and warm mentions. But this is strange.
Richard is not Sam Alexander, his powers are not in the helmet. To prevent cell degradation, he needs Nova Force, not a uniform. When Quasar saved his life with his quantum bracelets, Richard didn't have any Nova stuff on him, and it worked.
Al had completely naked Richard before and hadn't thought about cell decay. Well, ok, then Rich was on treatment, let's say it temporarily stopped the degradation.
But why artificially increase problems where they already exist? What's next? Helmet sex? I don't argue, it's a hot kink, Mandalorian vibes etc. It's good to play it in the bedroom sometimes, but as a permanent part of life? No, thanks, we already have Cyclops.

Marvel Two-in-One #58 (Gruenwald & Macchio/Perez, Dec 1979). Roxxon is revealed to us as the force behind the attacks on Project Pegasus, which makes sense ‘cause they’d want to undermine alternative energy research. Bill Foster reveals he’s dying of radiation poisoning, which is a big ol’ bummer. And Wundarr is reborn as the serenely powerful Aquarian. Anyone from Zodiac still around? Bet they’re gonna love this…

You could have known it was coming for a year, Quasar and you wouldn't have been able to do shit ABOUT it.
But you're a good kid and you don't know yet just how well this job suits you.

Origin and Unbeing were introduced in Quasar 18# (cover date Jan, 1991). They were created by Mark Gruenwald and Greg Capullo. Origin was a cosmic creature responsible for the creation of many super heroes and decider of powers for mutants. He also was the reason Earth has been visted by so many alien races. ("The Bearable Lightness of Unbeing", Quasar 18#, Comic, Event)
