["This was such a good joke and I am appalled by the fact that it has not gone absolutely bonkers viral. I mean is comedy dead? I just dont understand how a regular human being can read the word "Greans" (A combination of green and jeans) followed by an image of, well, green jeans, and not absolutely evacuate themselves in laughter.

I believe this has something to do with the fact that comedy as we know it is dying. It has become too mainstream in todays media and that is the main problem. Gone are the days where silly little guys in their silly little hop hats are able to go "knock knock" and absolutely change the world. Nowadays you have to have so many things that go into a joke for it to remotely even be funny, setup, punchline the whole ordeal. Whatever happened to just a simple Practicality joke? Whatever happened to just being able to slap someone and be the headlining act?

The world is so full of so called "comedians" these days it makes me sick. All these people do is spend hours writing and practicing their act in order to try and sway an audience to have a good time listening to their words. For SHAME! Comedy used to be just two people on a stage just slapping eachother and going "knock knock" for twenty hours. Whatever happened to the good ol days where people just laughed at whatever someone said because their brain hadnt fully developed?

This is why I believe that I am going to start performing my comedy acts to a bunch of babies. An absolute hoard of newborns. I will make my jokes to them and they will laugh for they truly understand what humor should be. I will go to a hospital in that little room they have where it is very easy to switch said babies and cause a bit of a ruckus, but instead of doing that (very funny joke) I will simply perform for them and relish in their cheers and guffaws.

It is sad that one has to turn to performing to just babies in order for the world to understand the complexity of ones said humor, but alas if its what I must do its what I must do. Maybe one day we will revert back to absolute comedy anarchy, where the chicken has not yet crossed the road, but until then I will continue to strive and push forward in this dark age of comedy.

Maybe a complete reset of what we find funny is in order, maybe we have lost what humor once was for us. We obviously have considering my VERY FUNNY TWEET does not have a bazillion likes and has not spun off at least 30 million movie deals. I spent time and effort making this tweet, I saw the green jeans in front of my eyes (which are very squishy) and my neurons fired and made this absolute gem of a joke. I was excited to share it with the world, I tweeted it nearly right after I saw it, excited to see what new adventures this tweet could bring me. I went to bed all cozy smiling like a child on christmas eve night, excited for the morning. When I woke I turned to check my phone instantly, my eyes racing to see the like total. What would it be? 500k? A million? I was surprised that my dms hadnt blown up with a personal message from every billionaire going "let me give you all of my money I can never make anything as good as your "Greans" tweet" but It must have been a glitch.

I was appalled to see that my tweet had only 30K??? 30K for the pinnacle of all of human achievement? A slap in the face of innovation is what it felt like. Like when that thomas edison guy ate a stolen lightbulb or something idk what he did really but I remember the person who made that lightbulb which he ate probably felt really sad and I felt really sad so I felt a deep connection with that person.

I quickly fell into a great depression, this is what all of my life had lead up to: one sad tweet. I didnt see the outside for years because of this tweet. I thought to myself "why would they do this?", "Isnt humanity supposed to be kind, supportive, and have a sense of humor when it comes to differently colored jean jokes?" (dcjj as I call them), and "Man I should probably have a burger" (I did) (very yummy) but as I ate my burger all I could taste were my TEARS as I chomped into it from the top down. It felt like I couldnt do anything right. Until thats when it hit me.

Im not the problem, EVERYONE ELSE IS! My humor isnt "bad" or "unfunny" or "makes me want to find a microwave and cause it to malfunction so I either become the hulk or die" (Please do not try this. -Another Ranboo message) It has to be that simply I am so far ahead in the world when it comes to comedy that my time has simply just not yet come! My jokes will be funny to a different generation, which will be frowned upon at first but I will quickly be welcomed with open arms, and told that I am an innovator, a true scholar of all that is funny.

And so I wait for that day. I wait for the day that people look back on my Greans tweet and realize, that without a doubt that it is the funniest thing that they have ever seen. The problem is not with my joke, the problem is with the world, and thats what makes humanity beautiful, is that it evolves, it changes, it doesnt stick to its mindset that a tweet that has the word "Greans" followed by a pair of green jeans doesnt get a BAZILLION LIKES! I wait for that day, and for those of you who are with me, I hope you wait patiently as well. Stay strong."]

you remember that, right? from the early videos on the youtube? well, hetch, the guy who claimed to try and 'help' ranboo? hetch mentioned about how the founder runs this all. and what im guessing is at the end of episode three, when its shown that it was on a tape recorder. that person that grabbed it? what if thats the founder. or is that the next person that will be taken here? generation 2? for all we know, this could be anyone.

ALSO. notice how squiggles came back in episode three ONLY at the end. when there was real content. when the show was able to go on. squiggles is part of this. we knew that, but still.

CHARLIES STREAM. i watched through it, and i believe someone in chat said that the wingdings said something about the colors, and blah blah you blah, i dont remember and was unable to decode the wingdings myself. What i did do was try and go to the video that charlie played. and i did get to it! as of writing this, posted 12 hours ago. 2-3pm eastern time! incase its important

that ending. where ranboo died. did he even die? i doubt it. either he didnt die or they died but are going to be brought back for generation 2. the show must go on. we have seen people die and come back. charlie. he died but came back next episode.

the mask turned on and off at the end, but also that could be because of the mask malfunctioning. but also, he asked to die. he wouldnt do that, showfall media wanted him dead. while the mask was partially broken, it literally had a hole in it and you could see their mouth partially, ranboo was not acting himself still. ranboo was being controlled the entire time. hetch was part of showfall media. maybe the founders right hand man. great at manipulation. even if ranboo could make his own choices, hetch convinced him to keep the mask on. to stay in there. to 'save everyone' although it saved noone.

The next day was like no other day with you going out to either mine, or help and hang out with friends close by. She had ran into Tommy earlier and walked around with him while letting him talk and yell her ears off until they both ended up separating both having other people to attend to. Tommy went with Ranboo, which was unusual, while she went to Karl who was wandering around his house.

"Karl!" You said while waving the man in the colorblock hoodie.

"Oh hey y/n! Whats up?" Karl waved as you made your way back over to Karl where he was standing in the grass.

"I just had a walk with Tommy until he went with Ranboo for some reason, but I wanted to talk to you-"

"Really?!" Karl's eyes widened until he regained his composure.

"Yeah I wanted to check up on you! Like we always do." Your voice was weary not knowing what Karl's intentions were at this moment.

He looked disappointed in some way and you didnt know why. It was sad and confusing not to know why he was feeling this way and the only thing you could do was ask.

"Karl are you okay? What's wrong you know you can talk to me about anything!" You put your hand on his shoulder in a reassuring way.

His gaze was focused on the ground until he turned his head toward the hand the was laying on his shoulder.

"Im fine! Im all good its okay." Karl sent a smile towards your way trying to keep up his spirits up.

"Alright. I'll believe you. So what do you want to do?" You asked still weary if the situation.

"There's this field of flowers we could hang out in."

The next time it was a sword sheath with an enchanted netherite sword that glowed in the darkness that she revealed it it. Her mouth dropped while she put the sharp sword back into its sheath to protect her from getting cut.

She couldn't believe who would send this to her, but the gifts kept coming and she was no where close to knowing who it would be. There was a small note attached to the end of the sheath and she had picked it up and read the note that hung on a small string.

She finally she knew who was kind enough to send these gifts to her. She had placed the sword somewhere safe, so she could use it for combat, or even just keep the sword as a memorabilia from a friend. The sad thing was that she couldn't tell Karl's romantic advancments to her.

The next time this happened Karl had sent her an enchanted bow and arrow and netherite boots. She couldn't belive he remember that her original netherite boots broke. He had sent another note that went the same as the others, sending his love without blatantly saying that he loves her. He wanted to wait till they were face to face to say it, but at this point he thinks that they will stay just friends.

He could tell because if the gestures he would see from her, there was no revelation that he loved her for a while. She somehow didn't notice his advances and that made him want to give more until she finally noticed.

"Karl! Thanks for the sword It's beautiful." You said as you saw Karl walking on the Prime Path doing who knows what.

Karl shifted while the two of you still stood in the middle of the Prime Path, his gaze was glued to the ground.

"Karl please tell me what's going on! You've been acting like this everytime we are standing together. Please this is bothering me!" You pleaded for your friend to talk to you.

He looked up with another one of his smiles, again, he looked disappointed behind those gleaming eyes.

"I thought I was being obvious, but its okay! Lets do something, let's go see what Big Q is doing." Karl rushed through his words as he grabbed your hand leading you through the prime path, trying to get his mind off of anything, but how good the feeling of your hand felt in his.

The next couple days you woke up to multiple peices if jewelry each day with small notes.

The first day after the bow and arrow was a necklace with a blue diamond with a note.

"KARL!" You had raised the totem in his face and he was taken aback because you had raised a glowing piece of gold too close to his face.

You continued your rant, "Karl I like gifts, but this is drawing the line! A totem of undying?! This is way too much. You could've told me you loved me straight up front without the gifts! I would've accepted, whatever you were going to do! I love you too and you know that! I love you as a friend and as lover, I would love to be your girlfriend." You calmed down as Karl's eyes progressively started to return to their normal size instead of widened.

Karl started to chuckle with a small smile on his face.

"I thought I was being obvious!" Karl laughed and you lightly chuckled as well.

You brought him onto his feet and brung him into a hug in which he reciprocated. You both stayed there for a while until he pulled back and gave you a small, shy peck on your lips juts testing the waters. You had done the same giving him a small peck in return, both of you widely smiling at eachother.

Hello Floral, the Enderwalk Arc knower, do you by any chance have a clip of cc!Ranboo saying his character isn't controlled by c!Dream? People keep saying such a clip exists, yet nobody can provide it.

i'm going to be entirely honest here i dont know if this clip exists. i was really bad about clipping stuff in that era and literally all of my liveblogging has been lost in a long since deleted discord server, so i dont have any way of checking to see if i reacted to it at some point, but heres my thoughts: i don't personally remember hearing this specifically from Word Of God. the closest things i can think of are:

>confirmations in character, like the one in the experiment stream where he defines the enderwalk state as "just himself, but with all his memories" (as well as over time shifting how he talks about the enderwalk state as a blacked out period of his memories > a sleepwalk like state > a period of time where he is fully conscious of his actions > literally just himself with all/more of his memories),

>extrapolation from the times we've seen him enderwalking on screen (the foolish deal comes to mind, as well as the note he left himself when he asked "what am i?" at the end of the lessons stream),

>providing an alternative meaning for the "he is in control of me" message (insinuating it's the "enderwalk state" subconsciously influencing the "waking state" which there is. a considerable amount of evidence for, as opposed to dream somehow mind controlling or manipulating ranboo all the time somehow from the prison. ESPECIALLY since we've seen him act towards those interests while completely out of contact w dream. cc ranboo is kinda allergic to talking about the enderwalk lore outside of lore context, i can only think of one clip where he confirms stuff ooc about the enderwalk, and it's him saying the idea for the enderwalk state didnt even come up until after the first dream voice/panic room stream. i wish there were a better way to disprove those theories, i really do, but since people refuse to accept context from the streams or even think about looking into subtext, we've just gotta deal with it until we get more answers. if anyone else happens to remember the specific moment people are looking for and feels like clip hunting, feel free! I don't remember it being said, though, and that specifically makes it really hard for me to clip hunt, especially while ranboo was streaming on the dsmp daily for several hours a day. good luck!

Ranboo was p much the only reason that made an actual attempt to support Tommy during exile (doesnt even matter if the visits from other ppl are canon or not)

Ranboo is the only person next to Sam who knows about what was going on. And while Ranboo doesnt have the full picture, thanks to the letters he and tommy were exchanging he is pretty much the only one who really knows how Tommy was taking everything. Sam only knows what Dream told him and even Dream only witnessed the Tommy Tommy was acting as when Dream was visiting.

The time they hung out at Technos. Cant really put into words what i mean by that but yeah. Its something.

Ranboo being outed as a traitor by Dream in front of everyone (including Tommy) (like you cant tell me Tommy just casually witnessed that and that he just. Doesnt mind or have an opionion on that.)

Tommy denying Ranboo hanging with him and Techno to protect him. Which is very similar to the whole trial about burning down georges house thing.

Ranboos speech about chosing people not sides, which tommy didnt get to witness but. Please? Its such a big part of ranboo and we got pretty much every persons opinion on it. Tommys should be especially interesting on that because its very connected to his character.

Ranboo living with Techno and Philza. Again, Tommy doesnt know about that (i think?) but its important enough that itd influence their interactions. Its something thats influenced every interaction ranboo had with other ppl, even when they dont know.

Tommy "betraying" technoblade. Just. WHAT DOES RANBOO THINK ABOUT THAT??? CMON??? THATS LIKE. SUCH AN IMPORTANT THING. IN THE WHOLE CHOOSING PPL NOT SIDES, WHERE DOES TOMMY CHOOSING TUBBO FALL? IS IT CHOOSING PPL OR CHOOSING A SIDE? CMON BOOB BOY

Just. They had incredibly personal conversations despite their relatiobship being extremely new.

Like, tommy got ranboo to help him rob george pretty much after just meeting him, it was like a bonding activity. A week later or so he got exiled. And like that week of barely even knowing each other already formed a strange bond. Tommy told Ranboo about his Dreams of Wilbur, about his insecurities and fears. He showed Ranboo, someone who he barely knew an emotional vulnerability I cant remember him showing even Tubbo or Wilbur at that point. And him defending Ranboo and taking the blame completely on himself mattered so much to ranboo that he really made a great effort to keep up communication. He visited him. He gave him a netherite pickaxe i think and made the effort to try and tell tommy that it wasnt out of pity or being a kind person but because of tommy protecting him before exile. Which is reassurance tommy definitelly needed at that time. Ranboo is one of the people who have actually never wronged or rather hurt tommy in any way. Even tubbo did exile him and ignored his existence for a longass time, and while we can understand while he did it and tommy understands why he did it, thats still a way in which tubbo absolutely hurt him. But ranboo hasnt. Mostly because he wasnt on the server for long enough to, before doomsday rolled around, but still. I mean thats most likely why tommy was able to open up to ranboo during the time they didnt know if hed be exiled or not. And they also have the whole dream thing in common.

Like. Just have them interact. I think it might probably be for future lore but quite frankly wtf. Its unnatural at this point how they just. Dont interact nor seem interested in the other person anymore.

Did i miss something? Did i just write this rant like a fool for no reason because i missed like 10 minutes of lore that make all of this invalid? Idk!

It had been a few days since Dream had found the two tiny’s. They had begun to trust him a little, letting him eat them when he asked or at night so they could stay close. Or like right now, Dream needed to get food but George and Sapnap didn’t want to be by themselves so Dream had eaten them so they could be safe while he shopped for food.

Dream hummed to himself as he looked at the fruit in the farmers market. He kept his glasses on to hide what he was, but it was sunny so no one questioned it. He bought the fruit and was going to go home when a past a booth that everyone was crowded around he got curious and walk over to see what everyone was watching. He bushed through the crowd to see a small cage with something in it. He gasped seeing it was another tiny. They looked terrified out of their mind.

“Hey what’s going on?” Dream asked the person next to him.

“Everyone wants to watch to see what happens to the pest. No one wants to buy them because they look wired.” They smiled wickedly.

Dream frowned at that. He didn’t say anything though. He looked closer at the tiny’s and he could see they did look a little different. The one had half white and half black skin. And the other had all black skin with white eyes and horns, He felt bad for the tiny’s they must be so scared and the one only looked to be a kid. He listened as the owner of the tiny’s as he tried to sell them off.

“Alright listen up people, half off no better price then that!” The guy tried. “It would make a great pet or maybe a small snack!” He seemed desperate to get rid the the ‘messed up’ tiny’s. “Come on people if you don’t buy it I’m just going to have to kill it then that’s just a waste.”

Dream froze hearing this. The tiny one started to sob. Clinging on not the other He took a deep breath before stepping up. He wasn’t going to let the poor tiny’s die.

“I’ll take it.” He said loudly. The seller looked relieved and shook his hand. “Good man.” He said as Dream handed him the money. Dream took the way to small cage from the man looking at the small tiny’s who looked hopeless. He’d explain when he got them home that he wasn’t going to hurt them.

He walked away from the crowd not noticing he was being followed. Dream kept an eye on the tiny’s making sure he did shake the cage to much. He froze when a human stepped in front of him forcing him to stop walking. “Hey man.” He complained. He could immediately tell this guy was bad news. He turned around to see three more guys behind him. “Ok what do you want? I don’t have money.” He said.

“We want the pest” One of the men said gruffly.

Dream shook his head. “Should have got em’ when you had the chance then. Their mine.”

One of the guys around him flicked out a knife. “We ether get the tiny’s, or you take care of it for us.” He man said.

Dream froze seeing the knife. He couldn’t win against three humans, not when they were armed. “Take care of it?” He questioned. Though he knew what they meant.

“Yes, eat the damn things or we will.” They man in front of him growled out.

Dream sighed knowing he had to do it. He’d scare the poor things, but he still had Sapnap and Dream with him. They would be able to explain for him and hopefully calm them down. “Fine.” Dream growled back at the man. He opened the cage and took the one tiny with the horns out. He wanted to say it would be ok but he had to keep out the act. “Was just going to wait till I got home, but this works.” He kept a firm but gently hold on the tiny.

He was watched closely by the human as he brought the tiny to his mouth. He felt awful as the they struggled and yelled at him. He needed to get this over with. He carefully set the tiny in his mouth closing it before they could crawl out. He glared at the men as he licked over the tiny and softly swallowed. He did them same with the other making sur was was gently. “Happy?” He said darkly. If he could he would have beat these men for trying to kill a kid. They nodded with wicked smiles and let him go. He ran back home with bags a food in his hands.

Ranboo screamed and pleaded for his life as he was licked by a giant tongue. He had just watched Bad get eaten right before him. He flinched away from the wet muscle. He soon felt gravity shift and he grabbed at everything to keep himself from falling back, but he couldn’t keep a grip on anything and fell back into the tight throat. He cried as he was pushed down by the strong muscles. He fell into the humans stomach with a yelp. He thrashed around trying to hurt the human. He screamed as he hit something in here.

George and Sapnap had been listening to Dream and slowly put the story together. A tiny soon fell on next to them panicking as he saw other tiny’s. George yelled as the another tiny fell on top of him. They tiny accidentally hit him in their panic. They both couldn’t see much but they could see that the new tiny was younger then them.

Ranboo back up noticing there was even more tiny’s in here then him and Bad.He looked around in panic realizing the human has eaten two other tiny’s. “What?!” He yelled out scared and confused.

Bad knew something was up seeing two seemingly ok and unharmed tiny’s. He held onto Ranboo trying to keep him calm.

George set up trying to calm down the tiny’s “Whoa... hey it’s ok. It’s safe you’re safe.” He said quickly.

“W-what?! Safe?” Ranboo asked keeping as far away from the others as possible.

“Yeah safe.” Sapnap said.

“How is it safe?” Bad asked.

“Ok so quick explanation. So the human who ate us. Isn’t human so it’s safe for us to be here.” Sapnap explained.

Ranboo set back against the silky flesh around them. “I- I don’t really believe you. He looked human.”

“Would we be so calm if we were in danger? This isn’t the first time he’s eaten us. It’s safe.” George said. “Yeah and his definitely not human. I don’t know what he is, but his not human.” Sapnap added.

Bad sighed not trusting this. But the other tiny had a point.

Ranboo nodded, slowly calming down. He was exhausted from all the stress and sudden adrenaline rush. He felt light headed.

George noticed the kid looked ready to pass out. “Oh hey hold on stay awake. Umm what’s your name?” He said quietly trying to keep the tiny from passing out.

“R-ranboo.” He said softly head falling to the side as he fainted.

Sapnap sighed. “Well that’s great.”

Bad glared at the dark haired tiny holding the unconscious Ranboo close.

George looked to Sapnap. “Oh hush, he thought he was going to die.”

Sapnap nodded crossing his arms. “What’s your name?” He asked the older tiny. “Bad.” He answered simply. They all both feel silent again. They set back and listened to Dreams heart beat and heavy breathing. They could explain everything to Ranboo and Bad when Dream got home and when Ranboo was awake. But at least they were safe with them and not who ever those other people where.

Like dreams doing a real awful job of manipulating the people that come to visit bc not only does he insist hes fine, the moment people leave they just dont think about him anymore like tommy didnt come back to revisit and bad has the egg to deal with.

I feel like no matter what dream does it will always seem like manipulation, starts being honest about the way hes been treated-youre just trying to make me feel bad for you to release you >:(, goes quiet-now you're trying to make yourself look pitiful so I feel bad for you, you said you're losing your mind bc the prison is very inhumane-well you should have thought about that before you went all evil :/

No matter what he does he'll be seen as a manipulator and if hes only ever going to be seen as a bad guy why try to be the good guy yknow?

you hit the nail on the head, anon! i swear we’re all a hivemind, because i was just about to make a post on this.

let’s talk manipulation for a second. there are two definitions - “control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly or unscrupulously” AND “alter or present (data) so as to mislead”. time and time again we see dream manipulate people, making them turn on themselves and each other and everything they care about. we see him do this specifically to tubbo and tommy (we have confirmation ooc that the voice in ranboo’s head is NOT dream, so i’m leaving ranboo out for now). 

the exile arc - both tubbo and tommy are manipulated. dream tells tommy he’s the only one who cares, that he’s his friend, that things are going better without him in l’manburg. this is both methods of manipulation, and he does the exact same to tubbo - telling him tommy doesn’t want to see him, telling him he’s his friend, deliberately appearing as an ally, all to get the discs. he was clever, cunning, driving the knife home where it hurt for both of them and putting a band-aid over it and eventually getting them to thank him for it, basically. we as the audience know this is manipulation, because of dream’s tone of voice/in-game body language, because of the context, because we know dream’s role in the story.

he’s not being clever in prison. he’s manipulating the information he’s giving out, but if anything, he’s turning people that would want to help him AGAINST him - reassuring bad he’s fine and gets enough food, refusing to elaborate on his reasons for striking, telling bad that the warden treats him well. the information we learn about dream does nothing to tell us he’s being mistreated, other than the snippets of information he seems not to class as important or slips up in telling us. 

examining dream’s body language in-game and paying extra special attention to his voice acting helps us figure out that dream is not being manipulative. i’m gonna make a whole post on body language and voice later (yey, theatre kid things), but if you analyse it and notice how DIFFERENT it is from how he usually speaks/acts, you can see very clearly that he’s,, genuinely suffering.

i doubt his apology to tommy was real. it was far too early and incredibly too good to be true. but now? people insist every little thing smp!dream says and does is manipulation.

the thing is, we knew about it as the audience before. and i’m positive that we would be very very aware if dream was doing the same now. the context is different - dream’s role as the villain has been taken away from him now. he hasn’t suddenly lost the ability to manipulate, which is what it would look like if he really was trying to be manipulative in prison. he’s HURTING, he’s suffering, and no matter what he says/does, you’re right anon, he’s always gonna be seen as just manipulating us.

Hey guys, I wanted to talk about something here that has been weighing on my mind for quite a bit now. I talked about it on stream a little bit but I want to touch on it more here, please spread this message to other platforms as I am only putting it here because its easier for me to word my thoughts correctly here.

Lately I have found myself in kind of a weird spot when it comes to my fanbase, I have seen stuff that I have tried again and again to stop yet people sadly dont seem to take my messages to heart when I tell them about my boundaries. I really do appreciate my fanbase and I know that most of you guys are absolutely great, and if you dont do any of the things im going to list then you just keep on being a good part of the community :D.

Recently I have honestly been terrified. In case you didnt know I am a VERY anxious person, and whenever things and events keep on happening in regards to other creators and situations I keep on getting brought into it as an example. Whether it be people saying "Ranboo wouldnt do something like this" or "Ranboo did ????? so why cant this person do ?????". I ask you PLEASE to stop putting me on a high pedestal, as I am a person so thus I will make mistakes! And honestly I have been so scared, unnecessarily checking every single post that I make as well as not speaking about certain things because I am so scared of wording it wrong and making people upset because of the fact that I have an okay reputation. I am glad that you guys think of me as a good person, but consistently bringing me up and putting me above others because of what you think of me scares me so much because the higher you put me up the further I can fall.

I am in no ways a perfect person. I have made mistakes and I have learned from those mistakes. Am I trying to not make mistakes? Yes. Will I make mistakes in the future? Absolutely. I am trying my hardest to be a good person but you guys have to understand that I am in no ways a perfect person, Im not even close. So PLEASE stop holding me to higher standards simply because I have not made a mistake yet because the more you do that the worse it will be WHEN I make a mistake.

Now, this does NOT mean I am not okay with being educated/corrected. If I make a mistake I really do want you guys to inform me of what I did wrong and give me the opportunity to make it right! But this does NOT mean that I want you guys to put me under a microscope and try to find every little thing that I may do wrong because I am already putting myself under a microscope which has not been healthy for me as of late. So PLEASE stop bringing me up as an example of a "perfect cc" or an "unproblematic cc" because I know that if I get that label, the moment I mess up it will be much much worse.

Am I a perfect person? NO. Am I trying to be a good person? Yes. I am trying to educate myself on issues as well as try and understand a lot of the troubles that many people go through in my fanbase to try and make the fanbase a better place, but if I am not allowed to be respectfully educated when I mess up then I am losing the ability to learn from my mistakes. I really do want to be a good person, but the stress of consistently trying to be perfect is really not healthy for me. Part of that does come from me however so I am trying to figure out how to manage that on my own, I mean I entered this situation having no idea how to handle a fanbase of any size and I have been learning as I go. Another thing that has been still happening which I have tried again and again to stop is people associating with me and then sending actual threats. Threats of any kind are NEVER okay with me. So if you want to associate any part of your profile pic, bio, etc. then PLEASE never do these kinds of things. Another thing is if you want to associate yourself with me, but get into an argument please try to do so respectfully! So please if you want to get into drama and you decide that you do not want to be respectful about it please do not associate your profile with me. However, I am completely okay with you guys calling out issues and being associated with me as long as you do so in a respectful and educated way! I encourage you guys to try and educate others, but please do it in a respectful way if possible! (I do understand that it may be hard to do it in a respectful manner in some cases, so if you do decide to act in that manner please do not associate your page with me as if enough people see the same common denominators in a profile they will give the fanbase a "toxic" label.) If it will actually make the community, situation, or heck even the world a better place then that is completely okay! But if it is just an insult or a threat that does not add to a discussion then please do not associate your profile with me as it makes me uncomfortable! I tried my best to word this in the way that I was thinking but I know that some things may have not been worded in the best way so I will clarify if needs be! (PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS WAS WORDED WRONG! THANK YOU!)

TLDR: I want to be able to continue to interact with my community, but sadly the stuff that I have seen in SOME (absolutely not all) areas has really rubbed me the wrong way. I really want this message to stick this time, I have tried again and again to establish these boundaries yet I continue to see more and more that just really breaks my heart.

Ok... first impressions for the new lore from wilbur!!! (I really enjoy writing these!!)

(I use he/they for C!ranboo, to prevent confusion)

Ranboo is lying to Wilbur about trusting him. That much is very clear. He hasn't told Wilbur anything about himself and he's hiding how close he is to tubbo and tommy and everyone else that's been mentioned. The most they did was mention how they were a traitor in a very vague and watered down way to explain to wilbur why they were sticking with him and helping out.

And I still believe that ranboo is helping out of a sense of empathy, but... I dont think this will end well. Wilbur is gonna find out just how much ranboo is hiding and I honestly think that could blow up all of wilburs progress. Even if ranboo is doing this out of a place if kindness.

Meanwhile Wilbur himself, seems to really trust ranboo, like legitimately. From his perspective, hes finally getting a fresh start (with someone who doesnt know his history) and given some faith which will hopefully aid in his recovery. I mean personally, he looked like he was doing pretty good in this stream. (A little too impressed with himself at l'manburg but still better) I don't know his plans for the burger van but for now I'm going to assume that they aren't nefarious until proven otherwise.

He's doing better. And I dont want any of my previous opinions of him to override what I'm actually witnessing.

Now to talk about tubbo.... man I almost starting crying. Hes just, so hurt by everything and confronting wilbur of all people about it, I think that's what finally broke him to the point of sharing more of his trauma. I mean obviously he was already there mourning (singing, wearing the suit, etc) so wilbur caught him at his most vulnerable.

And the fact that he could forgive him after everything....

(Sorry I kinda can't be more analytical about this bit cuz it just hurt like a lot)

I dont like that wilbur kind of brushed aside his pain and ignored it tho. Like right when they met up around the corner, wilbur was more focused on rehashing his past impact on l'manburg instead of comforting tubbo. And yes he apologized and I believe he meant it but...

I think wilbur is kind of selfish right now. And it makes sense cuz when ur doing so much introspection and self evaluation to recover and get better, u kinda get stuck thinking only in terms of how people and events affect you and not how you and your actions affect others. This is probably why he ended up looking at his apology as a sort of task to complete and move on and tubbo's forgiveness and trust was lumped in with it.

(If anyone has more to say on wilbur's obsession with trust I'd love to hear it!! I dont think I've got enough context to really figure it out)

I also just want to mention how hard that must have been for ranboo to witness. They watched their husband break down in grief and had to pretend they didnt care as much as they do. I mean, he almost dropped the charade entirely to stay behind and help tubbo instead of working with wilbur.

Overall, I'm super excited to see where the lore goes from here and I'm really impressed with all the acting and character choices!!! Its so cool!!!

DREAM SMP Swap AU

Dream = Wilbur : Dream comes into the server to help these two kids who are trying to stir shit up -- why not, right? He's got a fondness for chaos but also very protective and caring over his friends. VERY FOND OF TUBBO. To the point of.. well, brotherhood. Wilbur = Dream : He had a vision, to create a place where people could emancipate -- he's not above being the bad guy to keep that ideal in place. He's charming and self-confident and isn't afraid to use blackmail or get all up in your business. Has dirt on everyone but Dream. Constantly threatens secrets but subtle, yanno? Again, very charming, very persuasive.

Tubbo = Tommy : Still very sweet, but Big Crime often comes out to play more often than not. Also a huge trouble magnet, tried to start a...Honey smuggling empire? For some fucking reason, despite its innocent sounding plan, is a threat to Wilbur's land but no one has any idea why. Tommy = Tubbo : Tommy has an innate fucking fixation on music discs. He's got Cat and Mellohi personally. He dreams of starting up a music cafe/music area...? He and Dream get along swimmingly, Dream actually gifts Tommy a few music discs too, but also pins Tommy with the name discount Dave Strider.

Fundy = Eret : Was convinced earlier on by Wilbur to continue his 'legacy' and ideals. Fundy further grows into a neutral party, doing things only when it benefits him. Is the traitor from the first war. Eret = Fundy : Gets far too involved with stuff and the only way out is if he wiggles through the restraints on him. Yes that's metaphorical.

JSchlatt = Technoblade : Assists through uses of contracts and business deals. Like, hello, Tubbo's Honey smuggling business? He and Dream make an agreement, he supplies Dream and Tubbo with shit, and Dream does favors for Schlatt. Technoblade = Jschlatt : Anarchy lmfao. Was actually brought on by Wilbur in secret. Acted as a benefactor for Dream before turning around and causing chaos in the land Dream Tubbo and Tommy built. Blood for the blood god, only the strongest gets to the top kind of government. There's always fucking pitfights. Oops.

Philza = Callahan : Largely uninvolved in the events, mostly just there to supervise Wilbur, Tommy and Techno. Duh. Callahan = Philza : Has personal history with Dream, tries to convince him not to do the thing that could hurt everyone else. Minimally succeeds.

Alyssa = Niki : Ready to defend her home and her family. Niki = Alyssa : Neutral, but ready to back Wilbur up if need be.

Sapnap = Bad : Arsonist, goes around and burns shit whenever he wants to. His base is a Nether inspired fortress. Also, he has to deal with a Nether problem in reference to the Red Vine problem from the original SMP. Hotlands? LMFAO Bad = Sapnap : Helps when asked. Started out on Wilbur's side, as a favor, but slowly shifts neutral due to the conflict between factions.

Karl = Skeppy : Gets held hostage? That's what preoccupies Sapnap's time. He suddenly disappeears or gets trapped in a cell. Skeppy = Karl : Runs around doing supply runs. Gets his friends into various stints to try and settle the conflict through friendly rivalry and competition. It doesn't always work.

George = Ranboo : Unlike original Ranboo, George is highly unsympathetic and needs concrete fucking facts before he acts, and that kind of backfires on him in the end. As a favor to Dream (how many favors is Dream involved in honestly) he runs messages back and forth from Tubbo to Tommy. Ranboo = George : Largely uninvolved in the conflict, like Niki, but unlike OG George, is not absent. He's just there to assist. One of the most innocent and purest people on the SMP, knows when to keep his head down. When his house burns down, he doesn't really believe its Tubbo who did it -- he knows the kid has been framed because he'd been WITH him at the time, but Wilbur pressures him to admit it.

Quackity = Punz : Wilbur's loyal paid henchman. Quackity will cause shit for the appropriate price, he's not exceptionally picky. That stunt he did as Mexican Dream was great and everyone in L'Manberg loved it. Punz = Quackity : One of the best fighters under Techno. Has more morals, but keeps them secretly. Very good at hiding his true intentions/feelings.

(sorry about the other characters not being on here, i dont know them enough to make swaps, or dont know who they'd make a good swap with. Swap who you wanna swap though! i'd like to hear your take on this matter! HEADCANONS ACCEPTED TOO AT THIS POINT EVERYTHING HERE IS FROM WHAT I REMEMBER AND MY HEADCANONS)

PLOT

-Wilbur starts the SMP with Niki, slowly invites others like Ranboo, Tommy, and Tubbo.

-Tubbo expresses a desire to Fuck Shit Up and Tommy says they can get Dream, he's an expert at getting away.

-Dream is extremely protective of them both. Tubbo more than Tommy but that's fine because Tommy is largely independent.

-Tubbo gets in the weirdest shit but Tommy can roll with the punches really quickly.

-Wilbur gets tired of their crap and burns down Tubbo's establishment. It's like the Disc Wars except it's the Great Honey War. Bee War? Basically he's tired of Tubbo hogging all the Honey related expenditures.

-Dream gets the idea to make a honey smuggling empire, as a joke, but Tubbo is Big Crime and he's going with it. Tommy just wants chaos, and he was getting bored tbh.

-Eventually the Honey thing turns into Resource management, so Tubbo Dream and Tommy have a hold on all major supplies

-Shit happens and Dream, Tubbo, Tommy, Eret, Sam, Fundy and Alyssa establish an independent nation. Dunno what to call it bc the server is called the L'manberg SMP so....

-The fight for indepencence still happens. Instead of 'Green boy' Wilbur is named 'E-boy'. Dream still says "WE HAVE NO MERCY FOR YOU" when Wil calls for a ceasefire negotiation, but Wilbur does threaten the nation saying  "If there is no white flag by tomorrow, then you can kiss your sorry little arses good bye. That's my final warning."

-Turns out Fundy's been secretly funneling information to Wilbur in exchange for the safety of his friends, and also because Wilbur's his dad....uhm. Also! He and Dream are circling each other and others are like "OH MY GOD YOU GUYS ARE DEAD RINGERS FOR QUEERPLATONIC MATES JUST MARRY ALREADY" bc I like FundyWasTaken but others might not and its okay, we'll label it as platonic, but can be read otherwise depending on your tastes. But for this, it's very close platonic.

-Wilbur goads Tommy into a fight, as brothers do, but Tubbo steps in and Wilbur fucking jumps at the chance.

-This is the start of Dream's descent into madness. No one fucking threatens or pulls one of his friends like that. Denied. It's still subtle though, so he's okay for now.

-Tubbo and Wilbur face off. When Tubbo pulls back bc he genuinely doesn't want to hurt anyone, Wilbur takes the chance and beats him.

-Tubbo, however, makes a deal. Let their nation stand on its own, and he'll give up the Resource Empire he started. Wilbur accepts, with the condition that they unify their alliance with a...marriage? So basically, political marriage between Wilbur's heir, Fundy, and Dream, the leader of the revolution.

-YEAH I WENT THERE THIS IS VALID

-They're strained at first, but Dream and Fundy slowly mend their relationship post-betrayal.

-Fast forward a few months later. The Nation doesn't really have a leader, as per the agreement, but it does have a representative. All decisions are made via majority votes, and that decision is voiced by the rep and sub-rep, Dream and Tubbo respectively. Tommy's just there to have a good time and causes chaos as per usual.

-Enter Technoblade. He's been called in by Wilbur to...ah. Dismantle a little...nation. Sounds right up his alley. But he asks Wilbur to wait and see what happens.

-Tommy and Dream get the idea to hold a tournament to celebrate their independence, an all out brawl for everyone to kick back and relieve stress. There. That's where Techno comes in.

-He gets Punz to join him after like, being paid (ofc) and they fucking dominate the tournament. Dream's about to congratulate them but Techno turns the fuck around and declares his right to rule the nation. If anyone wants to fight him for the title, they're welcome to try.

-Dream loses another life to Techno trying and failing to fight it. He and a few others lost their first life sometime elsewhere? I guess? Probably by being blown up by Wilbur, idk.

-Tubbo and Dream are chased out by people who reluctantly follow Techno's orders, and Tommy, torn between his friends and his brothers, stays behind. Oh jeezus.

-Since Techno is a fighting GOD, no one's able to usurp him to make things turn back to normal. But Dream is smart, and knows Wilbur's 100% behind this. Fundy kind of knew but didn't do shit about it, which is why Dream rejects Fundy's offer of sanctuary. He can't be sure his husband will stay on his side, after all. It's nothing personal.

-Dream and Tubbo hide away somewhere, probably not a ravine but?? A mountain or something? They manage to get Sam away enough to ask him to build a super cool Redstone contraption thing that opens for them. ooooo.

-I'm not good at names but for the sake of jokes I'm gonna call their land the 'Bee's Knees' bc at some point Tubbo finds a fuckton of Hives hanging from Trees. Bee Mountain if Dream's feeling especially salty.

-SPEAKING OF DREAM. his insanity is on course now, it's slowly eating away at him and in fear of hurting Tubbo he's slowly distancing himself away. Tubbo's like what's wrong but Dream can't answer -- he doesn't know what's wrong with himself either.

-Tubbo and Dream need to go back and confront Techno, but they can't wait for long else Techno's going to obliterate everyone and their extra lives. They call Schlatt in.

-Schlatt's a pure business man and draws up a contract. He'll aid them in terms of supplies, but most of the revolution is on them. They agree.

-Tommy is actually really fucking good at lying and skirting around what he reveals to Dream and tubbo as a spy that Techno would have believed him if he didnt' know his brother. and Wilbur's warnings, of course. That results in Techno just being fucking done with Tommy's bullshit and plans his execution in another tournament? I guess?

-It doesn't go like the festival. First of all, Schlatt can't fight for shit, so why would Techno call him up the stage? No, Schlatt fights dirty. techno doesn't set much rules so theres no rule against poisoning Tommy quick and easy before the fight. Tommy loses another life and is on his last. Tubbo is spitting mad, but Schlatt points out that nothing in the contract covered this, so he's free to do as necessary. Tubbo is stopped by Dream who, at this point, is just overtaken by the need to one-up Techno.

-Also, Wilbur's been slowly persuading Dream to just. Let go. Let the monster inside of him free, he 'deserves it'. By the end of it all, Dream does. He snaps and lets loose the monster crying for blood inside him.

-Callahan is left to convince his old friend not to do it. In a moment of clarity, Dream stares on in horror of what he'd done. In his rage he managed to deplete ALL of Techno's lives (not really but shhhh), cause massive bloodshed, and terrified everyone in the process. He asks Callahan to kill him. Callahan does.

-Yes we'll get to Ghost Dream eventually.

-Anyway, Schlatt still does the Wither plan, because, uh, Drunken Rage. He was so stressed out from the ensuing conflict that he's like "LETS JUST FINISH THE REST OF YOU. THERE WILL BE NO CONFLICT IF YOU ARENT THERE TO FIGHT."

-and then he uses the line from the Lego movie on Tubbo like "Oh, Tubbster. It's nothing personal. It's just Business(tm)".

-Schlatt still dies of stroke. He does come back as a ghost though, that's one main difference.

-After everything's said and done, and the dust has settled, everyone decides to disband the nation, and just live their lives. like, they're done, wilbur, they get your point, jfc, let them rest.

-but uhhhh someone frames tubbo for setting fire to ranboo's (the server sweetheart) house. wilbur immediately decides to exile tubbo in 'anger'. acutally, he wants tommy and tubbo separated.

-tommy's not standing for it though, he fucking fights his way until wilbur threatens him and tubbo's like YES FINE OKAY I'LL AGREE TO BEING EXILED STOP THREATENING YOUR BROTHER

-tubbo's exile arc is not as sad as tommy's, but rather very tense because wilbur keeps riling tubbo up and taunting him. he still keeps contact with tommy though because they arent going to be separated just like that. no way. tubbo just gets a little more mad and gets short tempered like a lot.

-ranboo's not even that mad about it, he knows tubbo would never burn his house, there was a conspiracy on board and even if there wasn't he's like "arent yall overreacting its just a house, didnt you all do this like before the first war even began, what even (also, ranboo was WITH tubbo at the time of his house allegedly being set on fire. Not that he'll admit to it, because he and tubbo made that agreement long before)

-eventually he finds out that wilbur just wanted to pin the blame on tubbo to make him leave, and ranboo's like "IM DONE WITH YOUR CRAP WILLBUR STOP HURTING THE PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT" and leaves

-with the nation gone, people started to solidify their groups. sapnap and karl deal with their own thing, quackity still runs errands for wilbur, george is the main person ferrying messages from tubbo to tommy back and forth, etc.

-there's a funeral for dream, ofc, fundy arranged it. all of dream's shit was hidden because fundy doesnt want wilbur to get it.

-niki's still there managing her bakeshop but doubles as an informant for wilbur because she's well liked within the server

-ghost dream is present and he's a chaotic troll who mostly hangs around tommy. he's really hyper active and is always on the move, you can never catch him sitting still for like, 5 minutes

honestly for a fandom so obsessed w defining tubbo by what ppl he interacts with its just a little painful that like sbi stuff Rarely includes him. like old content based just on the streamers sure i get it but like. by now hes practically considered apart of sbi by the others, and his dsmp character is clearly considered to be more than just "kid next door that visits a lot". before phil said wilbur was his only son he said he and wilbur found tubbo in a box and very solidly implied that tubbo was adopted into the family, and tommy being the one to ask only makes it seem as if tubbo was there first.

even without that in mind tommy clearly sees him as a brother, wilbur very much so acts like it often, asking about him and wanting him to join wilbur on his adventures. we know techno and tubbos relationship is currently strained but god they used to be so close, and even if it took word of god confirmation for people to accept it as canon phil and tubbo get along well together. people would rather believe that hes related to schlatt and/or puffy before he could be related to sbi.

but thats very rarely focused on by anyone who isnt actively a fan of tubbo, and yet even ppl who dont care about sbi buy into the family dynamic even without canon backing it up or the streamers having 4/4 content regularly. then theres stuff where he should absolutely be considered and isnt, like all the content of ranboo showing michael to the syndicate and bringing him to meetings without any indication from tubbo, whose literally ranboos husband and michaels other father, that thats okay when tubbo not feeling safe around techno is exactly why techno doesnt know, or people who ignore how much things like doomsday and dream literally trying to kill him in front of tommy effect him, or various situations where his past connections with fundy, eret, niki, etc just arent thought about at all, etc etc.

its like the fandom at large is stuck in a situation where they dont think about tubbo on his own and it gets to the point where even the dynamics he has with others (that arent tommy) are ignored and tubbo just isnt thought about at all, even actively getting cut out of dynamics completely in favor of another (looking at you, people who ignore tubbo for allium/loyalduo content). people keep trying to stick him into neat little boxes that they can easily take in regardless of how true (tommys best friend, the kid who likes bees, feral nuke gremlin, schlatts son, the wide-eyed innocent boy who cant read or pick up on social cues, etc etc), and it fucking sucks. theres so few people who acknowledge tubbo (streamer and character) as a separate person to be respected and even fewer who acknowledge that hes connected to so many people, and i just wish the kid was treated better. hes such a cool fuckin dude, hes extremely talented at so mant things and funny and charismatic and god i just want people to stop erasing him from the goddamn narrative already.

why it drives me crazy when people say c!ranboo has no morals but think c!wilbur and c!ranboo could still have potential to be narrative foils

morals:

loyalty to family/friends: in both his normal functioning and his enderwalk stage ranboo is incredibly defensive of his loved ones. this is 100% the center of his moral compass. he doesn't do certain things he fears will upset others (thus succumbing to peer pressure yes) but i deeply disagree with people argument that that is proof he has no moral backbone. particularly due to a couple of instances:

ranboo visiting tommy in exile: while not directly breaking the rules there was a general expectation, especially the people ranboo spent his time with, of not really visiting tommy. it wasnt really a set rule or anything but ranboo was definitely putting himself at risk by doing so.

protectiveness over michael: when sam and puffy showed up to prank ranboo, he was incredibly defensive over his son. he was ready to kill to protect his son if it came down to it.

rescuing tommy+tubbo: while we have it confirmed this instance was in their enderwalk stage, ranboo going both proves ranboos values in the enderwalk are the same (or i'd argue strengthened even) ranboo moved protectedly in front of tubbo when he and tommy had separated

forgiveness: he is willing to give people more than one chance, he is incredibly quick to judgements but for the most part he does not rely on other peoples opinions of each other to dictate the way he feels about them, he does take it into account in his overall image of them, but like with revivebur, he is willing to offer him a chance.

reciporcity to kindness: when people are kind to him, he is kind back. y'all let this slide as a moral with techno. it counts here. no im not counting it as necessarily loyalty because he is polite and kind even to those he isn't close to.

self-reliance: for better or worse ranboo does not think he needs other people to survive, in many instances he has displayed thinking he and everyone else would be better off if he were isolated. he does not want to depend too much in anyone, which can especially be seen in his desire for wealth. i think it has always been more about i dont have to rely on others, if things go south i can still survive (obviously part or it is needed something to do on stream, im applying other characteristics of ranboo to infer) but we can also see this in him retreating to himself (panic room, not telling anyone about his book being missing) when he is threatened because he believes the best way to handle it is himself

security: ranboo is incredibly driven bu his desire for safety and stability for both himself and for his loved ones. he thrives on consistency. he struggles the most when things begin to change.

difference between foil and antagonist (just for clarity cause some people have been switching up the definitions)

"an antagonist is a character who is in direct opposition to the protagonist. their actions deliberately hinder the protagonist from achieving her goal. this relationship helps build conflict and propels a story forward."

"a foil exists simply to shine the spotlight on certain traits of another character, without necessarily creating opposition or conflict."

the opposing traits/beliefs that i think will cause the most conflict between the two (ranboos will be written like this and wilburs like this to differentiate)

leader vs follower

probably the most obvious contention point, pointed out on 5/05 stream by wilbur pressing ranboo on what he stands for. wilbur wants to be in charge. but i think ranboo is how wilbur wanted people to value him. wilbur wanted to be the guy that everyone liked because he believed being liked comes with power. ranboo does not necessarily want to be well liked by everyone, but he wants to at least be neutral so he does do things in order to keep them on his side

conflict driven vs conflict averse

wilbur thrives on chaos and conflict, much like dream he is willing to manipulate situations. rqnboo does everything he possibly can to avoid it

cockiness vs insecurity

wilbur is obviously bold and arrogant. he thinks extremely highly of himself and the postions he does and could potentially hold. he is ruled by this factor and often does not think about the consquences of his rashly made decisions(thats not to say he isn't calculated or intelligent, he is, he just focuses on how things affect him rather than others)

means to an end vs no ulterior motives

all of ranboos bonds are strong because when he cares about people he does what he needs to to take care of them, they usually initiate out of instances of kindness, but he does not seem to expect anything in return. he cares about people because he loves them, nothing more nothing less. wilbur however while some of his relationships were initially based on care the motives became corrupted and its hard to say whether there are any relationships he has at this point that aren't ruled by some kind of benefit for him (my only guess for that would be phil)

similaries: paranoia, trust issues, secretiveness

ranboo and wilbur really are two sides of the same coin, yes they are opposites in a lot of aspects but despite the differences in their values orginate from the same place they jutted of in two completely different directions, they tried to solve the same issue in vastly different ways. ranboos paranoia was attempted to be solved by isolationism, while wilburs mainly tried to solve it through manipulation. ranboo pushed people away and wil tried to force them to be around. both backfired for them and caused them to retreat further into the paranoid states demonstrated by wilbur blowing up l'manburg and ranboo catastrophizing with hearing dreams voice.

I think wilbur's main contenion with ranboo resides in wilbur thinking ranboo glazes through life easily, and that they disagree on what morals means. being more confrontational does not mean you are more or less moral than another person. wilbur does not understand that differing morals does not equal none at all.

I don't think their relationship is going to act as an antagonist because while ranboo is actively keeping an eye on wilbur it wouldn't really make sense for ranboo to suddenly be more confrontational. I know a lot of people are citing the Burr vs Hamilton relationship as parallels in their dynamicI want to remind you that narrative foils are not conflicting in nature. conflict can happen. but the point of them is to highlight the differences in character traits.

likening to burr vs hamilton

burr wanted power but he wanted it to come to him vs hamilton wanting power and actively chasing it

yes this makes sense for wilbur, but it doesnt for ranboo. ranboo doesn't want power. he never has. the reason burr waits on the sidelinesnis cause he is waiting for the chance to act, but ranboo is not waiting for something to happen, in fact he would rather have the exact opposite, for things to be as uneventful as possible.

Both of these are directly due to the two’s differing goals and approaches to life. Burr and Hamilton are two side of the same coin, opposite results with the same starting conditions."

this is exactly what I referenced earlier between the two. ranboo cares about family, wilbur about career. while a lot of their behavior originated from a similar place, their paths rapidly diverged.

i'm gonna be honest i find it extremely hard to believe that a situation will exist where wilbur waits and ranboo acts. however, if one does i still firmly believe it will be revolving around (likely in defense of) the people ranboo loves and cares about, specifically michael, tommy, tubbo. it would be where he is cementing his views of choosing people. but wilbur being hesitant is still difficult for me to think of a scenario on which he would that hesitant? for it to be his downfall?

important to note: ghostbur did also akin ranboo to burr so it is definitely possible that this dynamic is going to countinue to playout in the future

Timeloops as a form of character derailment (kinda)? SIGN ME UP.

Okay but god that would cause so much angst, like, they team up, they comfort each other where no one can see, out of necessity because literally no one else knows what they're going through. (Okay I rambled quite a lot here I'm so sorry)

But like, imagine everytime they do something different, refuse to engage with what the script is forcing them to do and suddenly everyone is forced back to the beginning.

Like, Wilbur would probably break the most in the beginning (would this start at the Pogtopia arc, or before that? How far back do they have to go back every time they reatart? God that would be a sort of angst all on its own, half the time messing up purposely cause back here was so simple), since Dream is antagonistic but not a full fledged villain, and Quackity really hadn't entered his villain arc yet. And Wilbur, the poet, refuses to believe that this is the only story, he wrote himself a country, he created the symphony, he gets to choose how it ends. He refuses to do anything to his brother and friends, refuses to hurt Tommy. Of course, that doesn't work and he gets sent back to the beginning, in the end, he does lose himself, just not for the reasons that his family, his friends think (when Wilbur begs for death from philza, it is not a part of the play, the act, he just wants and end to this loop, maybe death will be an out, and imagine his surprise when it works. Imagine his surprise when its so much worse. Now he gets revived each time someone messes up, and it becomes a twisted relief from a different kind of loop)

Dream after this point would probably start ending the loops just before and during the exile arc, when he realises, oh, I'm the big bad of the story. The ultimate villain. First his friends abandon him, and why wouldn't they? He's horrible to them, he doesn't doesn't want to be, but what choice does he have? When he's forced to say he doesn't care for them, can't refute the claims that he doesn't care for them, doesn't love them. Then exile happens. And it's so much worse, cause he likes Tommy, he's one of his friends, and sometimes dream even thinks of him like a brother. And sometimes that shines through, he can be friends, then he's reminded oh no, apparently he has to a massive piece of shit now (all of the background stuff that happens, him commissioning the prison, the hall of attachments just makes this so much worse, whatever the hell is going on with Ranboo). He probably starts to really get distant, cause it's easier to go through the motions again and again and again if you actually dont care about the people around you (he cares so much, but hey, maybe there's some truth to attachments only being there to hurt you. Cut yourself off and you'll be free)

When the disc confrontation happens the first time,he thinks he's messed up something again cause everyone's here to stop him. Then he gets sent to prison and the next day happens. And it's still a torture, being isolated and treated like that, but at least he's alone, only has to act when people (rarely) visit. And then Tommy visits again, and then Quackity visits.

As for Quackity, I feel like he would have the easiest time, at first, after all he wasnt a villain at first, that change happens gradually. He only loops because he doesn't know the script, not because he refuses to do any actions, and sure some are harder than others, Tubbo's execution for one, but he's allowed to be against that, so it's justifiable. Techno's execution is justifiable (Dream can just tell him the behind the scenes information, it's fine, sure he dies, but what's one trauma in this time loop? He's got plenty to spare). And he's always been charasimatic, manipulative under certain lights, so thats easy. In fact, he goes so long that he doesn't even fully realise the villain arc he's undertaken until he realises that oh god, he has to go through with torturing Dream, someone he knows isn't a bad person, is forced into this the same way as he is, and each time Dream gives in, tells him what he want to know (no he doesn't, he never want to know, not like this), he gets sent back, doomed to repeat their actions. Every. Single. Day.

Imagine all threes surprise when they notice other veering off script, too. Not stuck in a loop, but noticing hey, haven't we done this before?. And for the first time in a long, long, long time, the three start to feel a glimmer of hope.

They end up reset to the very start of the Smp. A bit before the idea of L'manberg started to form. So yes, while originally, they're quite determined to find a way through the loop, as time goes on, they start purposely messing up for a breather-though only when they feel they truly can't take it, because it still means they have to go through everything again.

The three all get so close as a result of this whole thing, which makes everything so much worse when it comes to hurting each other-especially for Quackity. Sometimes he just-can't, stopping and sitting with Dream until Sam finds them and resets the loop.

Wilbur can do anything he wants in limbo....but he can't get out. Nothing he does will break the loop once inside. The first time it resets after his first few years in there, he can't stop shaking. The cold seems to have followed him right back to the start.

And Dream? As you said, exile is just about the worse for him. Because he's supposed to manipulate Tommy, make him think their friends as he hurts him. And maybe the worse part about that is that he's allowed to be nice to Tommy-genuinely nice...but only to an extent. Only because in the end, it will just be seen as part of his manipulations.

They're just all straight up suffering.

And then-

And then, everyone shifts a little bit to the left, and for the first time in a long time, they dare to hope.

But if they want to see if this is really what they think it is, well-they'll have to devote themselves more to their roles than ever.

....so that was a whole deal am i right? excuse any weirdness with this cos i’m kinda shaky rn, but here’s a recap for today’s (24th jan) tales from the smp: The Lost City of Mizu! under the cut smile :] my own interpretations/ things that aren’t explicitly told to be canon/ left to be inferred i’ve marked with italics.

Why show all the skins again when I can let someone else gather them? /j Here’s a post with the skins of all the characters. The cast is Karl, Quackity, BBH, Ranboo, and Dream; playing characters Isaac, Cletus, Benjamin, Charles, and Ranbob, respectively.

The episode starts with the fishermen - Isaac, Cletus, Benjamin, and Charles - setting out on a fishing expedition, before discovering a book that, among other exposition, tells the fishermen the coords of the Lost City of Mizu. Also of note is the fact that the author tells the fishermen that “I [the author] know you [the fishermen] but you don’t know me” and it’s signed with the letter ‘K’, suggesting that c!Karl left the book for them to find. 

Once they arrive at the city, they find a book that calls Mizu “an underwater city of beauty” and that they can “get up close and personal with all your favorite characters from the Disc Wars”. They enter the city and meet a person who identifies themself as Ranbob, who later adds that he is a descendent of Ranboo. Despite being a descendent of Ranboo, Ranbob’s appearance  differs from his ancestor’s. While Ranbob has both the black enderman skin and the white other-half skin, the arrangement is different, and he has yellow and purple eyes instead of Ranboo’s green and red ones. Endermen used to have green eyes before they were purple, so perhaps it’s related to that? Ranbob tells the fisherman that Mizu has been “abandoned for so long, other than me”, but that he wasn’t around when it was built. During most of the episode, he acts as a tour guide of sorts, showing around the fishermen. 

The rooms they visit are themed around the different people involved in the current day DSMP storyline, however many things are incorrect suggesting things got misremembered or changed over time. According to Mizu’s history:

George was the longest lasting king of the SMP and worshipped by his followers. However, Eret killed him, as they were a tyrant who tried to take over. 

Ranboo and his bloodline were bookkeepers and scholars. Ranboo in particular, was one of the greatest scholars, due to his supreme memory and writing everything down. He is also said to have chosen the side of a traitor due to his not choosing a side.

Sapnap was a fierce warrior on the Dream SMP. He had a large love for pets, and started the Pet War over defending them. He was also said to be so strong he could bench press mountains. Sapnap has a larger than usual bed due to his many women. (and historians said that him Karl and quackity were just very close friends /j)

Mizu is uncertain if Fundy was a person or a pet, with some people seeing him as a great warrior and some seeing him as Tommy’s pet (i hate it here i hate it here i hate-).

Quackity is very “happy-go-lucky even though there are so many bad things happening around him”. He was a well known bard, a “prolific nudist”, pulled many pranks, and idolised Skeppy. Quackity was also known for being “hyper optimistic”, apparently because he was so dumb he didn’t realise the bad things happening around him.

Skeppy had some kind of diamond poisoning that made him blue, but he sometimes changed colors to red or yellow. He was also known to be best friends with BBH, “if a little obsessed with him”.

BBH was known for prolific cursing and casting spells on people, including the enchantment “lan-gu-age” which prevented the target from speaking. He also apparently had excessive amounts of porn on his hard drive, but I think this is just a(n unfunny) joke from Dream and so I will simply Pretend I Do Not See.

Attached to BBH’s room is a secret room with green and purple carpets and beds, lots of books, and a picture of the cartoon Kids Next Door. Mizu’s scholars don’t know who this character is but it seems likely to be Karl, with confusion about him due to his time travelling.

Tubbo and Tommy share a room, with Tubbo known to be the leader and strongest of the Manberg warriors and Tommy his most loyal ally and follower. Tubbo is also known to like nature and particularly bees (which Mizu thinks you eat?). Tommy is known to “have a problem worshipping discs”, but the discs shown are Cat on the ceiling and 13 above the bed.

During their exploration, they also find several books with hints pointing to how Mizu’s residents met their downfall, including poisoned soil, decreasing food supplies, air filtration and oxygen problems, lacking energy production, and “strange sightings around the east wing”. Additionally, one of the walls is broken and Ranbob patches it up with TNT, as that’s “the only block he had to clog it”.

The last place Ranbob leads the group to is the Tree Dome, which contains a large custom tree, swings, and a bench with jukebox. Ranbob disappears, and the fishermen find a secret room key. The also spot a chest at the very top of the tree, and cc!Karl opens an audience poll to decide who climbs the tree, the result of which is Cletus. He climbs the tree to the the chest before Ranbob reappears and sets the tree on fire, saying that “no one lives after coming [to the city]”, and blows up the tree, killing Cletus. The other 3 fishermen make it out and hide in Skeppy’s room to read the book dropped by Cletus. The book says that the secret room key lock(?) is hidden in the main hall, and confirms Ranbob’s message that “once in the City of Mizu, there is no escape”.

They find the secret room, which contains a lava parkour leading to a key to unlock another door on the other side of the room. The audience votes again, deciding that Benjamin should attempt the parkour, which of course he falls off of and dies. Isaac successfully completes the parkour and brings back the final room key. (if you aren’t afraid of that wording, you really should be)

The final room is Dream’s room, with several sets of diamond armor, a diorama of Dream, and a ellipse pattern on the wall that resembles Blocks. Ranbob reappears and tells the Isaac and Charles that everyone in Mizu had an idol that they worshipped, and that his was Dream. Isaac asks if Dream was a good man, to which Ranbob says that he was. Ranbob tells them a final time that “nobody leaves” Mizu, before killing them both.

The stream cuts to black and plays a remix of Dearly Beloved while cc!Karl changes his skin and changes the set. When the stream shows again, the stream is focused on c!Karl. He walks through a cave to a room decorated with a purple and green carpet, and books and posters for the Tales episodes of Legends of Gogtopia and The Village that Went Mad, however is missing the poster from the Beach Episode. c!Karl writes a book that recaps in blurb form the events of The Lost City of Mizu, labels it as such and places it under the relevant poster. He also writes a diary entry which is labeled “Diary entry #1”, which mentions that he remembers less every time he time travels, however that he “has to keep doing [his] part” to “right some wrongs”. He ends it with “dont forget who you are” and signs it “Diary #1”. c!Karl then goes outside and goes into F5, showing that the colors on the front of his hoodie are reversed; a purple spiral on green background, rather than the reverse that is it normally. cc!Karl cuts to black again, lets the music finish, then ends stream.

(then i spend the next 10 minutes freaking out abt it, cos wtf was that that was so good-)
