I’m personally devastated that Mori and Fukuchi never got to meet. Not only would it be THE pettiest bitch-off the world has ever seen, poor Fukuzawa would be just sitting there in between them with no expression whatsoever as the Hunting Dogs, PM, and ADA just watched them with growing horror, unable to look away.

This girl, Selene, is not just a feminine object shoving a wedge in the masculine energy, and she isn’t a potential girlfriend these boys must be on their best behavior to impress, SHE LITERALLY IS THEIR COUSIN.

She is there for the exact same reasons as them, to have fun indulging in a shared interest with family, and be rowdy with her cousins. But for the the most mundane and misogynistic reasons, having her around is a drag—just because she’s female. To them, all she is is a girl, and who wants one of those around?

Props to Selene’s dad (and other family) for seeing this as the toxic masculinity bullshit it is, and choosing his daughter.

This man doesn’t even consciously realize how much he has “other-ed” his niece in his mind, it’s is so natural for him to understand why she could be excluded in a way he would never have so easily accepted if it was any of his nephews or, god forbid, one of his own sons.

I'm curious about jugdral's story but really don't want to play those games. Is watching a playthrough worth it?

Mmh...

FE4's PT are long as fuck, because FE4 is a very long game with long long long chapters!

Back in my days, people wrote playthroughs instead of doing videos about them, and reading is always way less time consuming than watching a video - but the video has the OST which is really good, and you can get more attached to the characters than with a screenshot PT!

(if you're interested, I sort of posted my own FE4 PT under the tag FE4 run! I think I tried to screencap all the plot moments !)

You have scripts available on Serenes Forest, and you have the FE4 Oosawa manga, that takes, uh, some liberties with the canon, but if you want to get a feeling of the characters, it's here (with pretty 90s art!)

And once the FE4 run is over, you must absolutely watch/read a FE5 run because FE5 is imo the best part of the duology and then SF has some supplementary materials like Kaga's notes or notes that can be found in artbooks (FE Treasure!).

But if you're a bit overwhelmed, I'll happily answer to your asks about some plot points, if you want!

I’m just imagining during the brothers stay in the human world, they are reminded that Mc has a life outside of them and what better way than the, “I want you guys to meet my parents.” (Or grandparents, best friend, uncle that raised them. Whatever family-esque relationship your Mc gives a fuck about.)

Cue these assholes freaking out, because this is something Mc cares a lot about, and they want to make a good impression. Almost tearing the house apart in an attempt to make it presentable and make a grand meal for Mcs parents. (Nevermind that Serenity Manor is impressive enough on its own.) Plus the odds that Solomon already met them, and he won’t tell them anything.

This Love was Always Doomed

Venus/Kunzite, Serenity/Inner Senshi, 1.7k+

Venus’ Royal parents are known to be promiscuous, and she is the oldest of 15. Her parents love each other, but hers is the planet of love, and of beauty.

She’s always known her dad wasn’t her father. It’s never been a problem.

What she does remember is her mother crying. It’s her first memory. Walking in and seeing her clinging to her dad.

“He’s going to be the only one,” her mother says. “We agreed, but all the others have eldest daughters. Venus will be all alone.”

(This part is true.)

“He may still find love,” his dad says. “And one of our daughters will be very lucky.”

“It’s not fair,” her mother says.

She didn’t get it. She was also girl, but she was also also two, and she didn’t know how to explain.

She does know she asked to use Venus’ pen after her sisters attempted to become Sailor Guardians.

She does know her second memory is succeeded.

(They never questioned her gender after that, and she happily bathed in the sulfur of her world and came out looking how she was always meant to be.)

Venus had just turned 3 when Princess Serenity came into the world. It wasn’t a perfect introduction. There were threats, and darkness, but in the end, Venus had her Princess.
