Did you know kids in elementary school are frequently accessing porn sites? That children as young as 8 know how to get around school firewalls to find these inappropriate websites? And then they share it with others?

Did you know children are having more and more behaviour problems at school (violent, yelling, screaming, tearing apart rooms, etc) and early exposure to violent video games and pornography are believed to be a part of it?

Please stop criticizing what teachers are doing if you're not willing to address the very real problem that modern technology poses to our children.

Children do not need "privacy" when accessing technology. They need parental involvement and they need to learn discernment. They need your involvement and guidance!

I’m sure someone else has made this connection already but I haven’t seen it so

I am 100% certain that Vegas knew of Porsche’s dream to open the beach bar through Chay by way of Macau. Besides the fact that, imo, it makes the most sense I also present proof that Macau attends the same school as Chay:

From the scene at the table just after Vegas asked Macau how school was that day (which okay, not a weird question to ask a sibling but I’m also willing to bet that bit of dialogue was added, with Macau wearing his school uniform, on purpose)

I couldn’t get a super clear screenshot of Macau’s shirt and excuse the print-screen quality but. Clearly the same shirt.

Like, theres no reason for us to think Porsche’s dream is A Secret, but he also doesn’t seem the type to just tell people except those closest to him - and we know how much Chay loves his brother so if he had the chance to tell someone all about Big Brother the Hero? Heck ya he’d tell you everything down to which brand of socks he wears. And before you @ me about how naive that would be, there is literally no reason for Chay to be suspicious of someone (Well, maybe some sketchy stranger but not a schoolmate making conversation) asking about his brother. Porsche never told him he was involved with the mafia and I doubt Macau is going around school all “I’m mafia, baby”

I guess you could argue they’re reusing costuming but everything else about this show has been pretty detailed and on-point thus far and it feels too on-purpose to me. And they obviously had a good budget, I’m sure they could have afforded a different looking school shirt or chosen to not have him wear one if they couldn’t instead of cutting corners.

Anyone being an Azula 'anti' is honestly just a pity IMO. To see Azula as a true villain instead of the abused teenager that she was is to miss a LOT of the complexity in her situation, her relationship with her family, and how she sees the world as a whole — which, itself, is a key part of how ATLA tells its story.

Azula presents herself as an antagonist in season two, because, to the Gaang without Zuko, that's what she is. Just like Zuko and Iroh are. It's easy to fall into the trap of "Azula is just another fire nation imperialist" here because she never bothers to show anyone anything different.

But in season three, when we begin to get more nuance on the Fire Nation as a whole and see its citizens as normal people living their lives under an imperialist regime, we also start to see more of Zuko and Azula as people. We see Zuko go back to try and win his father's approval, and confide in Azula during that process. We see them open up to each other (in however limited a manner) and hang out with their friends.

In other words, we see Zuko and Azula for who they are: teenagers, trying desperately to navigate the insane expectations of the world into which they were born.

And that distinction is important. It's important we realize that the next generation hasn't been corrupted yet. That Ozai was once a child, babbling and eating sand. And that Zuko and Azula are far, very far, from the power-hungry Fire Lord ready to destroy the earth if that's what it takes to win.

Zuko got out. He was given what we all agree to be one of the best redemption arcs in modern storytelling. He earns his place in the Gaang through a combination of his atonement and their mercy. And Azula doesn't, and with Zuko a traitor now instead of a disgrace — a powerful enemy instead of a weak one — becomes victim to all the wrath and abuse that Zuko has made it clear Ozai can no longer throw in his direction.

The questions of whether Azula should have known better, could have known better, could have run away, etc etc etc are completely pointless. The narrative was never "Zuko was right and Azula wasn't." The way Zuko looks at his baby sister, screaming and insane, at the end of their Agni Kai proves that.

The point was that Zuko got out, and learned how to experience real, genuine compassion and love. Zuko got out and learned what it was like to be surrounded by his peers, by people who wanted to change the world for the better, by adults who had power they didn't use to hurt people. And Azula stayed, and this bright young girl, a 14 year old prodigy, a brilliant strategist, the Fire Nation's crown jewel, was reduced by day after day of pressure and abuse and promises of violence into a teenager hallucinating her mother just to feel an ounce of love. That cruelty from the moment of birth took what should have been a relationship as strong and powerful as Sokka and Katara's and warped it into that.

And that's the story of ATLA. That a broken world breaks people, and that the only way the world can go on is if the broken refuse to break others. That's why Katara doesn't kill her mother's killer. That's why Aang doesn't kill Ozai. That's why Zuko doesn't hurt Azula. Because ATLA is a story of genocide, of war, and of child soldiers, and of how we react to pain and our own ability to inflict it in return. And Azula was never a villain, not really; she was broken, and Zuko (and Katara) beating her in the Agni Kai was the first time anyone ever laid a hand on her shoulder and said "that's enough."

I do think ben cared for his siblings - at the very least Fei. When Chris was doing his combustion bit, ben kept yelling at fei to back up. He could have taken the time to walk away instead, and could have been safer - but he chose to yell for her.

I will be severely disappointed in s4 if we don't see ben mourn for his dead family - seemingly Sloane too, who did seem to care for ben and who's actions suggest they shared a sort of distant bond, still closer than ben and markus was viewed

i haven't been active on tumblr in literal YEARS and not because i didn't want to! so much went on in my life within the last few years like i got my bachelor's degree so my focus was on that. i had to move a few times. i was in a relationship with a guy that did NOT want me to have my own interests or friends but i didn't see this until years after the breakup and some intense therapy.

SO y'all get me finally going absolutely feral over my 2d favs because since covid i got hella back into anime and the freedom of being allowed to be myself again is overwhelmingly wonderful.

My mother never taught me how to process emotions. I think, as far as I remember, it wasn't even okay to process emotions or talk about them around her. The only emotion I had for most of my life, in relation to her, was fear. And all these years later, yes, I got over my fear but I still can't " feel " much around her. I'd rather "avoid". Today her brother passed away, my beloved uncle, may Allah swt have mercy upon her soul, and I couldn't have a conversation with her about it. My brother asked if I wanted to talk to her on the phone I said no, maybe some other time. What a shame.

About the Permet ghosts, I’ve seen people complaining that it doesn’t make sense why characters who haven’t even died in a Gundam are there, but if you look closely and think, then you’ll notice a small detail.

Only El4n has the Permet markings. And the only other Permet ghost with Permet markings was Eri

We know from Episode 6 that a large influx of Permet can reawaken past memories, and from Episode 18 we know that enough Permet can create a mind space. Quiet Zero was made with the purpose of taking this mind space and overlaying it on top of the real world

So only Eri and El4n exist as separate beings in the Permet space, with both of their biometric codes being saved. All the other characters are just reconstructions from everyone’s memory.

And that’s why the scene with Prospera is even more heartbreaking. She recreated the people she loved, and this time the voices aren’t calling for revenge, but saying she did well and they love her, telling her to stop and enjoy her life. Deep down, she wanted to live a happy domestic life with Eri and Suletta, and now she can.

Concept Art & Headcanons for Jean Grey and Charactersetting (Becoming Phoenix)

1- Jean Grey through decades, from Marvel Girl to Phoenix.

2- Its how I imagine the Jean Grey persona vs Phoenix persona having conflict in the mental plane. Jean back to her earlier bright "Marvel Girl" image while Phoenix is a mass of charred, melted destruction burning in the middle of Jean's mind.

3 - Jean stopping several rockets, the attack caused by Stryker.

4 -Stryker, Beast, Mystique, Emma Frost and Sebastian Shaw. I headcanon those characters to play important roles in political tension for X-men conflicts resulting in Phoenix incident.
