big bro gladio
This was just supposed to be a few quick headcanons? Instead it’s a fic. Less dialogue and action than I usually put in my fics, but eh. Anyway, have my thoughts about Gladio and his relationships growing up.
***
Like Noct, Gladio has spent his life on guard against false friends.
When he was seven, his dad pulled him aside after weapons training. “I don’t want you hanging out with that boy Lycus anymore,” he said, apropos of nothing as far as Gladio could tell.
Shocked and angry, Gladio pestered him for an explanation, and eventually Dad said it was ‘a potential security issue’. Gladio spent hours trying to visualize how Lycus could be a threat to him -- Gladio was bigger and stronger, Lycus was hilarious and fast on the field but had no combat training whatsoever -- when he realized that wasn’t the point at all. Lycus could be a threat to Noctis. And as ever, anything that happened to Gladio was actually about someone else instead.
He imagined that his Dad had caught Lycus doing something when he stayed over. Going through his office, maybe, or trying to get into the weapons cabinet. He doesn’t mean to, but somehow the rest of the class turns against Lycus as well, and he stops speaking up in class, stops being funny and starts being mean. But not to Gladio; Gladio doesn’t talk to him anymore. As ordered.
Later, he learned that Lycus’ dad was in an argument with the King about infrastructure development in his district. That was all it was.
It’s not that he doesn’t forgive his father -- there are lots of things he’ll never forgive him for, but he’s learned to live with them -- it’s that he’ll never stop resenting him for it. Hating him, for making Gladio an instrument of his thoughtless cruelty.
~
It’s not that he envies Noct. Yeah, Gladio has to guard him, but Noct also has to guard himself, all in preparation for his future as the King. And Gladio has seen how the King lives.
Early in his training, he spent a lot of time trailing his Dad around, just seeing how things worked. After Noct’s thirteenth birthday, the press suddenly shifted their attention from the Prince (who they speculated about wildly -- was he doing well in school? Did he have friends, a girlfriend, post-traumatic stress disorder? Did he cry at his mother’s grave every year?) to the King. Was he planning to remarry?
Remarry? The King?
Gladio wasn’t sure where the question came from, but when it hit, it hit everywhere. Every state banquet was suddenly an opportunity for photos of the King and his conversation partners, accompanied by endless speculation about what that smile meant, that hand shake, that choice of drink, or tie, or watch, and so on. If the person they targeted didn’t answer their questions, they became the target of even more speculation. It wasn’t just the gutter press, either. Gladio turned on the TV at prime time one day and was shocked to see an hour-long special about the King, his courtship and marriage with the Queen, and the potential legal issues surrounding his (rumored) remarriage. They were going to have a special segment about the Prince, with a psychologist to talk about step-families and trauma.
Gladio turned it off, feeling voyeuristic. Everyone in the Citadel was tense after that, bristling with rage, but there was nothing they could do about any of it.
Gladio, in his role as his father’s obedient shadow, was also made privy to a top-level conversation on the topic between Clarus, Cor, and Drautos. Some of the figures pursued by the press had merely been caught in the crossfire, they concluded. Others were attempting to use the publicity to their advantage, which was not a problem for their offices. A few, maybe, had real aims on the King, and ‘love’ didn’t seem to be an option they even considered. Clarus ordered thorough security checks and surveillance on the biggest names, and the whole thing made Gladio sick.
But it didn’t end there. A few weeks later, to Gladio’s horror, the Council had their own version of this discussion, this time with a political slant. All directly in front of the King himself. His Majesty didn’t seem perturbed by the discussion -- he exchanged a Glance with his Shield, but remained otherwise unreadable -- and yet Gladio burned with embarrassment and indignation for him.
~
So as much as Gladio resents Noct sometimes, he also pities him. And so he guards himself, socializes carefully, makes friends among the children of his father’s associates, and never gets too close to anyone.
In high school, he falls in love once, and he’s too busy with dates that ended in making out and heavy petting to notice at first. When he did, he broke it off immediately, cited some excuse about his duties and his dad not thinking the relationship was a good idea. All he could think about was getting away, getting away, getting away. When he got home, his heart was still pounding, and he checked all the locks and codes twice. Was he scared, or guilty?
When they told him they’d confronted his father, his heart stopped. He was certain he was about to be caught in his lie. But the rambling, teary argument that followed revealed that Clarus had been sympathetic but firm, and had invented a completely false conversation to back up Gladio’s falsehoods.
Afterwards, he never brought it up with his son, and Gladio never asked.
~
After high school, in the Crownsguard, Gladio makes a new set of friends. Many of them are older than him and worldly in ways he isn’t. They have their own routines, which Gladio is indoctrinated in. The whole idea of ‘friends with benefits’ was a pretty sweet deal, he felt, especially since these ‘friends’ often went out on assignment afterwards and he never had to see them again.
(Except Ignis. They only hook-up once -- okay, twice -- or maybe three times -- but they don’t talk about it. More than the weapons training or survival courses, it’s the most dangerous thing they’ve ever done.)
At the same time, fifteen-year-old Noct makes his first friend. Prompto. Weird kid, goofy, but likeable. Not cool, really, but then, neither is Noctis. They spend their time goofing around, playing video games and doing homework. Unlike Gladio’s ‘friends’, Prompto stayed, and Gladio was happy for it. Noct needed a friend.
Not like Gladio. Gladio didn’t need anything.
~
During his training with the Kingsglaive, Gladio developed a reputation of sorts. He was known for taking people on flashy dates to exclusive clubs (getting in was effortless, for him), hooking up, and then moving on. All perfectly friendly and above board. He worked himself to exhaustion all week, spent most of his weekend in bed with someone new, and went back to the routine again on Monday. Never the same person twice.
His peers admired him for it. His Dad asked a few questions, and when Gladio snapped, he backed off with a scowl. Iris … Gladio convinced himself she didn’t know what was happening.
Noct and Prompto started dating then, too. It was a terrible idea, and Gladio knew it, but it was clear the kids were in love and besides, he’d seen how the King lived. How Noct would one day live. Hell, he was already half-inside the bubble anyway. He covered for them, even from Ignis for a while (and boy did Ignis give him shit for that), and then he and Ignis covered for them together.
It was good. Nothing was missing, everything was in its place. It was good.
~
When the treaty discussions start up, Gladio ends his dalliances with his fellow Glaives and ‘Guard members. He needs to be focused. No holes in his, and thus in Noct’s, security; no gaps someone could wriggle their way through. It’s easier than he thought it would be. He takes up reading to fill his sudden spare time.
Before the betrothal is announced, Prompto and Noct stop … doing whatever they’d been doing. Noct called it ‘hooking up’, but couldn’t quite pull off the lie. Prompto started training with the Crownsguard, and Gladio had to stand by and watch Prompto run, face-first, into the same hook-up culture he’d just left behind. It was different, from this angle. He didn’t like that Prompto was getting off with people he didn’t know. He didn’t like how they didn’t care about him, how they used bad pickup lines and groped him in public. How they didn’t know about his photos, or his parents, or the kitchen scale on his counter, or his obsessive knowledge about calorie counts and chocobos.
They didn’t love Prompto, but Noct did. From a distance. The kid had turned into a good actor at some point
Prompto got pulled into the wash cycle of hook-ups and break-ups fast enough, but Noct continued on alone. More and more his eyes came to resemble panes of glass, from which something shadowy and mute peered out in silence.
~
After Altissa, Gladio starts sleeping beside Ignis. Just sleeping. They end up spooned together most of the time, Gladio at Ignis’s back, looking out into the darkness that Ignis can’t see. Guarding him from it. Ignis is weird, strangely muted and palpably discouraged, but he clutches back at Gladio as hard as Gladio clutches him.
~
In Zegnautus Keep, Gladio wakes one morning to see Noct and Prompto talking. They know he’s up and moving, their conversation soft and halting behind him. He hears when they fall into a kiss, and stays turned away, giving them their privacy. His face is burning but he’s also amused, a little heartsick, and quietly happy for them.
It’s the last morning the four of them will have together, although they don’t know it yet. Further in the Keep, the crystal and the darkness are waiting. Even further in the distance, a blood-stained dawn calls their names.
~
As they set out into the Keep again, Noct pauses and looks at him. At Gladio. His eyes are full of questions and uncertainty, like a kid who needs to hear that everything will be okay. That he’s done everything right.
“What?” Gladio asks, confused.
Noct just sighs. “Nothing.”
Gladio stares at his downturned face a moment longer, trying to figure him out. He doesn’t think he’s done anything to make him mad.
“All right,” Gladio says finally -- dubiously -- and without another word, he leads the way.

how does one respectfully scream at you to share your headcanons? for any silm character or concept really!
Forgive the late reply; I was working very hard on coming up with a really gourmet sampler plate of headcanons for you. Here they are, with no rhyme or reason:
bilbo and frodo, upon arriving in Valinor, taught High King Finarfin how to play golf. Finarfin loved it so much that it became the most popular pastime in Tirion for years.
Hurin and Huor didn't have a huge language barrier when they visited Gondolin because they were both fluent in Sindarin. However, the Dor-lomin dialect is fairly different from Gondolin's weird Quenya-Sindarin mashup. I portray this in my fics by having Hurin and Huor say things like "ma'am" and "much obliged" and "I reckon."
Related: being raised by elves, Tuor's culture shock in Gondolin wasn't caused by his being human, but by being a hillbilly.
Maglor and Daeron only collaborated once during their careers but they song they produced was such a banger that it nearly resolved all Noldorin/Sindarin conflicts.
The most popular Dwarven dish is potato casserole.
Finwe kept cats, and plenty of them.

After reading your twin jades headcanon I wonder, do you have any headcanons for how their relationship changes post canon?
I'm assuming this is about the lwj not speaking one? Or is it the "benevolent ableism" one? Either way! They're linked.
I do! *gestures vaguely at the 6k I have written for an lxc postcanon fic* I will say I... prefer a mashup of both the book and webseries endings, and I do think that Lan Wangji wouldn't be the kind of person to abandon Cloud Recesses/his family for romantic love? So my general headcanon for a few years after the story ends is lxc just leaving seclusion, Lan Wangji doing a lot of adminstrative etc work in Cloud Recesses, and WWX living about half the time with him and half the time travelling around. (He sends letters every few days.)
So I think their relationship changes partially in that Lan Xichen spent a lot of time "cleaning up" after Lan Wangji? lwj is allowed to be rude and Do What He Thinks Is Right and a lot of that was Xichen coming after him and smoothing things over and making apologies and being diplomatic. And then very suddenly Xichen is not there anymore. I think lwj doesn't really get less abrasive? But I do think Xichen realizes in his time alone that sometimes lwj needs to Experience Consequences of being rude to important people. Or, at the very least, that it's not his job to prevent him from receiving those consequences.
I also think Wei Wuxian is really excellent about accepting lwj being autistic and all the ways that manifests. There's a part in the novel where he daydreams about their future life, saying that he'll do all the talking and lwj can just add a few mns. He loves lwj for who he is, and all his weird stuff is loveable because it's a part of him! And Xichen watching that is able to let go a lot of his terror and fear about Wangji Must Become More Normal Or He'll Never Be Happy.
I don't think Xichen ever really processes "there are societal factors at work" in a lot of the pain he and lwj experience? Meanwhile lwj is very aware of structural problems. So they do clash sometimes still. Xichen listens to lwj a lot more than he used to, but only because he's Too Traumatized to hold his own opinions when challenged on them :(
Also WHILE Xichen is in seclusion I think lwj really struggles with the reversal of their previous dynamic, in that now he is the one who provides the support and emotional caretaking and it's very difficult for him. He feels an obligation to try and do for his older brother what Xichen did for him, both as a child and when he was in seclusion post-wwx death? But he doesn't have the skills Xichen had. He comes and visits once a week at the same time each week.

I saw TROS earlier today and, well, it was definitely a Star Wars sequel movie, for better and for worse. I can see why some people on my dash hated this movie and why some of them loved it. I can also see why some of them threw their hands into the air over it and shrugged. (FYI, I’m in the third category.) More scattered and spoiler-laden thoughts below the cut:
--“Never underestimate a droid.” This line would have been so much more meaningful if the spy had turned out to be a First Order droid rather than Hux. A droid that had broken free of its programming, just like Finn (and later Jannah and the other unnamed former stormtroopers). But as always, the Droid Revolution that we deserve is probably never going to be a thing, at least not onscreen where it counts.
--Just like TFA, the copy-and-pasting from the Original Trilogy was painfully obvious, but what was forgivable in the first film of a new trilogy is less so in said trilogy’s concluding film.
--Trần Loan/Rose deserved more screentime and prominence. And did we really have to turn Poe into a former spice runner? Really? *sighs heavily*
--Zorii Bliss felt sort of shoehorned in? I didn’t hate her, but it felt like TPTB only introduced her to give Poe another person to flirt with. And I say this as someone who was not expecting PoeFinn or any other LGBTQIAP+ relationship between named characters to be made canon in this movie at all. Hopefully fans will give her more depth in fic!
--Jannah was really interesting and I would have loved to see more of her. Once again, hopefully fans will take her character and deepen/explore it in fic.
--LANDO!
--Finn was all but explicitly confirmed as Force sensitive, and it’s What He Deserves.
--I mean, Finn also deserved his own storyline and a stronger conclusion to his character arc in this film, especially considering he was promoted as one of the leads of the sequel trilogy. But while I’m irked that he was relegated to a side character, I can’t say I didn’t see this coming, especially after TLJ.
--Likewise, I knew Reyl0 was going to be a thing after TLJ. I found their relationship less grating than Anida1a in the prequels, but it still didn’t do much of anything for me in this film. Do I understand from an objective POV why some people enjoy it so much? Yep. It’s the grand, tortured, Byronic Romance™, where it isn’t really about whether the characters have anything in common or even like each other, it’s about their near-mystical connection and their inability (and lack of true desire) to be rid of it; it’s about the lengths to which they will go for each other/themselves; it’s about the powerful man who is emotionally vulnerable and eager to serve his True Love at the expense of all else. It’s also the whole enemies-to-lovers trope, and so on. I understand the appeal of this mashup intellectually, it’s just not my cup of tea here. YMMV and all that, and that’s as it should be.
--Palpatine back from death is as ridiculous here as it was in the old EU, but I can roll with it. I think the movie made the right decision not to explain all the nitty-gritty details of how he cheated death or manipulated the whole Snoke deal... ultimately, it doesn’t really matter, y’know? Ditto to Rey Palpatine lol.
--Leia’s death felt pretty narratively cheap to me, but I understand that there was only so much TPTB could do with the footage they already had of Carrie Fisher in costume. Still, poor Leia. She drew a deeply shitty hand in life, didn’t she?
--That said, it was nice to see Leia training as a Jedi in flashbacks, however briefly. (Is it just me, or did her saber hilt vaguely resemble Obi-Wan’s?) Does it make a lot less sense that she would then send Ben away to Luke if she’s had Jedi training? Yes. Can I created headcanons to explain this? Also yes. And do I really care about this particular inconsistency when there are far worse ones out there and this one makes dudebro sections of the fandom spitting mad? NOPE.
--I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I’m not inherently against the redemption of Kylo/Ben. But, as I had suspected/feared, they “redeemed” him at the narrative expense of other characters I personally find more interesting... and they still didn’t manage to make said redemption feel narratively earned to me. Is there undoubtedly ancillary material in SW books and comics that give more background behind Kylo/Ben’s turn to the Dark Side and eventual turn back to the Light? Yes. Do I want to read it? Not really, no. Also, unless something happens onscreen in the SW universe, it doesn’t really count as true canon. So it’s disappointing that the movie shoved other characters and plots to the side to make room for Kylo/Ben’s redemption arc and then didn’t even do a good job with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
--Also, of course TPTB had Kylo/Ben die saving someone rather than narratively deal with what it means to work towards redemption after having done lots of terrible things, and having to recover from having been manipulated/groomed by Sidious. Not surprised in the slightest.
--I would have preferred a Stormtrooper Rebellion storyline, but I’m not going to blast TROS or the sequel trilogy for being what it is rather than what I wanted it to be. I will, however, blast it for its sloppy execution of its existing storylines. Which leads to my next point...
--Even though TROS was long, it still felt rushed and, like the first two movies in this trilogy, it felt largely disconnected from the other sequel trilogy films. The Star Wars Story Group really should have planned this trilogy out better. If TPTB were going to go with two different directors/writers, they should have made sure said directors/writers were on the same page rather than seemingly fighting each other’s visions of what the overarching story should be at every step.
--I’m willing to handwave a lot of stuff that happens in TROS, mainly because I’m long past expecting coherence from this franchise... or pretty much any major franchise, tbh. (For instance: Thousands of people show up to aid the Resistance when Lando calls them but not when Leia did in TLJ? OK. Force Ghost Luke shows up to catch Rey’s lightsaber but not to help her against Palpatine? Sure.) These issues don’t really make or break the series for me, so I can work with them with a minimum of grumbling. Which isn’t quite the same thing as letting TPTB off the hook for their laziness and inconsistencies.
--Honestly, I hate to say it, but it would have made for a stronger story if Chewie had died aboard the ship when Rey and Kylo/Ben were fighting over it; that would have driven home the consequences of Rey’s lack of control and lessened the artificiality of the stakes in this movie. But I get that this is ultimately a family film, so it’s more of a minor quibble than anything else.
--It’s kind of weird that Rey’s hair is back in the three buns again for the entirety of TROS after she wore her hair differently for almost all of TLJ. But that’s a fairly minor quibble too, and one of the sort I can easily create a headcanon to explain. Actually, come to think of it, I wonder if they didn’t do this at least partially to be able to recycle some of the unused TFA clips with Leia and Rey?
--Frankly, I’m not sure why Rey suddenly cared so much about what Luke thought, considering A. he was a huge jerk to her for most of TLJ, and B. she seemed to have broken with following his advice towards the end of TLJ. And since she didn’t have a great relationship with Luke, it seems weird that she’d take his last name. Shouldn’t she have gone with Organa or even Solo, if she’s naming herself after a mentor? But whatever, I get that it’s about the symbolism more than the character or logic. And I can create headcanons to explain all of this.
--It’s a little weird that there wasn’t any more resolution to Kylo/Ben’s storyline and Rey’s feelings about it after his death. But with Leia dead, I guess there isn’t anyone left who’d especially care if Kylo/Ben turned back to the Light aside from Rey herself. Still, there should have been something more. Especially since Ben didn’t show up as a Force Ghost alongside Luke and Leia on Tatooine.
--While I’m at it, I wish we could have had a minute’s conversation with Rey telling Finn about her heritage, if only because I think he would have understood. But I wish we could have learned more about Finn’s heritage (which didn’t need to be a known SW lineage, btw) too, so...
--For that matter, I wish we could have had Finn get a chance to tell Rey about his being Force Sensitive, which might have made her feel slightly less alone. I wish we could have seen Finn figure out what being Force Sensitive meant to him. And so on.
--Not sure where people are getting the idea that Lando & Jannah were flirting, because I didn’t read their interaction that way at all.
--General Poe and General Finn were great, but also sort of felt unearned after the events of TLJ.
--The abilities that come from being part of a Dyad are overpowered and a little silly, but hey, they’re also following a long-established SW tradition of overpowered silliness, so... *shrugs*
--Confused as to why Rey suddenly killed Kylo/Ben when she did?? I mean, if it was because she was angry Leia had just died, wouldn’t that be acting from the Dark Side and shouldn’t that have, idk, narrative consequences for her?
--I don’t see why some people loved or hated Rey’s ending so much. It’s pretty open, IMO, just like the endings for all of the surviving characters. Who says Rey is going to stay on Tatooine or be alone there, after all? For all we know, she just stopped there for a few days to bury the lightsabers, grieve for Kylo/Ben, and meditate. For all we know, Finn or one of her other friends from the Resistance is going to drop in any moment now. Heck, for all we know, one of her friends is hanging out inside the Falcon where we can’t see them, giving her a little space. (Was her friendship with Finn and Poe depicted pretty shallowly in this movie? Yeah. But so was her relationship with Kylo/Ben tbh, even with the Dyad Force bond thingamajig.) Rey has a whole world of choices available to her. Does it suck that we didn’t get to see that onscreen? Yeah. Does it mean she’s doomed to be eternally lonely as a hermit on a desert planet? Not in the slightest.
--Someone really needs to tell the writers of these big franchises that using ring structure is pointless if there isn’t meaning behind it. There’s nothing inherently significant about repeating events or revisiting locations.
--Overall, I felt pretty meh about TROS. I didn’t love it or hate it. As with any movie in a series, there’s good stuff to be mined from it, and bad stuff to be handwaved away or given headcanon explanations. But mostly, I just can’t dredge up the energy to care very much. And I’m not in the mood for TROS fix-it fanfiction so much as I am TROS crack fics.
--I haven’t talked about everything that worked or didn’t work for me in TROS here, but if you have any questions, I’m always happy to answer them to the best of my abilities!

I was tagged by @deanssweetheart23 and @there-must-be-a-lock, and because I’m the worst at tag games, I’m just now getting to it. Thanks, pretties. :)
1. What inspires your work most? (The show it is based on, the actor who portrays a certain character, maybe the character itself? It could even be an experience.)
Honestly, it depends on what I’m writing. Primarily the show and the characters...I don’t write RPF, so the actor doesn’t come in as often, but I do look towards their mannerisms and behaviors while they are portraying their character. Especially with Jensen, Jared, and Misha. My fic “Country Roads, Take Me Home” is based upon my home state and one of my favorite places (although the whole, ‘my family was murdered in front of me’ thing is not based on truth. lol) So I do throw some experience in on occasion.
2. What is your favorite fandom to write for?
Supernatural. It was my first one, so I think that’s part of it. Also, there’s so much you can do. Between the amount of seasons it has, the incredible amount of lore that has been explored plus the stuff that hasn’t been...it’s so easy to write for. I have dabbled in the Marvel universe and The Walking Dead, and I’d like to do more of that. We’ll see what happens.
3. Which perspective do you prefer writing in? (First-person, second-person, third-person)
Can I say all of it? lol Lately, I seem to be writing more third person, but I love writing in first person if the mood strikes me right.
4. Do you prefer writing reader fics or OCs?
So this is going to be a weird answer because my readers are OCs to me. I have only written one actual OC and I loved it. I loved developing her background and building out her personality and character...she was the first thing I wrote on here, actually. To me, I don’t write reader inserts as if it was me....if that makes sense. I’m basically creating a character and just not giving her a name. I often read like that too, which is weird I guess. Although a lot of me shines through on occasion (my sass is hard to disguise), my readers are OCs. Does that make sense? No? I don’t know. hahah I love both.
5. Do you prefer writing longer works or one shots?
If you’ve read any of my stuff, you’ll know that I’m wordy as all hell. My first series was probably like 40K, and the chapters were preposterously long. I think it just depends on the idea I have. One shots make me happy, but I also loooove building out an entire world within the canon world. And because I’m wordy, that means I usually have several series going on at once, which is great and terrible. I promise they’ll all get done. Sometime. Yea.
6. Do you take requests?
Yes and no. lol My headcanon requests are open right now, actually, and I just opened requests for a challenge I was doing, but I closed that. It’s not a hard close though...if someone sends me something that I find interesting and that I suddenly get an idea for, I’ll do it. I’ve got a couple sitting in my WIP file that I’m just waiting for the right time for.
7. Do you enjoy getting random Asks?
Absolutely! I like talking to people.
8. What inspires the names for OCs (or extra character names) in your works? Do you pick them from real life or just select them at random? A mix?
I have literally no idea. Sometimes it just pops into my head. And by sometimes, I mean always. Although in Wake Up, Sammy, I went with the witch’s name from ....I honestly can’t remember now. Chronicles of Narnia? No? I don’t remember. OH, and the leader of the trash people on Walking Dead. I just like the name Jadis. lol
9. If your story(ies) have OCs, are their appearances based on real people or celebrities? If so, who?
I don’t think so...not on purpose, anyway.
10. How long have you been writing fanfiction?
The first time I tried, it was an embarrassing mashup of Final Fantasy 8 characters and Egypt. I think I was like 9. I loved Final Fantasy and I loved Egypt...that’s the only explanation I have. It was awwwwwwwwwful. My friend had helped me create an original character, which she drew, and I think that’s what got me started on it. Fast forward several years later when I started writing a Final Fantasy X fanfic (do you see a trend? Apparently there’s a trend.) At some point, I also began writing one about Samwise Gamgee’s daughter trying to go on her own adventure...and that one was pretty good, but it was on this old boxy computer that doesn’t work anymore. I have no idea where it’s gone since then.
Most recently, I had worked on my OC series several times before actually starting it for real in February/March of this past year. I posted it on Fanfiction.net first and then moved over to Tumblr in March. Annnnnnd that’s the story. So much has happened since then. lol
Since I’m bad at tag games, I’m not gonna tag anyone...but if you see this and wanna do it, do it! :)

6. First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot)
Ok, you get a double answer because you seem to be a new guy (I mean you don’t identify yourself as my usual sweet little anon) sooo…
Plot of first original fic I ever wrote (at age 13): imagine a mashup of star wars, some magical stuff and…??? ok so. There is this spaceship in space, and it gets attacked by an enemy syndicate because THERE IS WAR IN SPACE WOO~ and then some youngsters get into an escape pod and they land on a planet which was thought to be uninhabited, but it turns out that some weird human tribe lives there who has supernatural skills? And then they settle down with the weird magical tribe, and the main character slowly starts to be able to do weird shit as well… and then the plot went ashtray and I gave up on it.
First fanfiction pairing + plot: Harry Potter universe, Ginny Weasley x Draco Malfoy. It was a crime story, aged up characters, Ginny was an auror investigating the case, while Draco was the prime suspect. The twist was that while Ginny was investigating, she was also hiding Draco in her apartment because she somehow knew that he was innocent (also they had weird dragon magic connecting them so they could read each other’s mind)
11. Weirdest thing you’ve ever written/thought about writing/etc.?
… my most recent thought was a Haruto Wistalia x Obi fanfiction in the AnS fandom. Don’t ask me why. I just have some headcanons for Haruto and… it happened? Accidentally? I have exams and my dead brain gave birth to this abomination, and truthfully? I love it.
Thanks for asking!
