#wei wuxian phoenix mountain cosplay

Drawing the pattern from #WeiWuxian's Phoenix Mountain archery tournament outfit.

To do this, I spent maaaaaaany hours figuring out the pattern digitally, figured out the size in relation to my own proportions, printed it out in reverse colours ...

... taped the pattern onto the back of a large sheet of acetate, taped the fabric to the front, and shone a light through both, so I could trace it in white pencil onto the black fabric. I'll refine it with white paint (and possibly black touch-ups) as necessary. I suspect I'm going to be at this all month and maybe into June, as I have five skirt-panels and a shirt to do, LOL! (I also have the vest, under-robes, belts, and hanfu boots yet to do.)
